Cody is awesome! He was patient, kind, and efficient with all the questions I had and called to inform that I didn't lock unit correctly. It's the attention to detail and courtesy calls like this that make all the difference. In a world where people are 3x as likely to make complaints, it's important to also give praise when the customer service is exceptional. Building and hallways to indoor units are clean. I have peace of mind that my belongings are here.

My storage unit was on the second floor. There was water damages to my furniture, shoes, most of the boxes that was on the ground. Pictures were destroyed. The funny part was I didn't store any liquid or water in the storage. So how did it get in there. They did nothing about it and even hiked the rates for the storage. Use them at your discretion.

The guy who checked us in and everything was very friendly and outgoing! I like this storage. The few things I can complain about is that there’s only 2 elevators in the whole building and only a few carts. The walk to my storage is kind of far from the elevator. I think there should be an elevator in all 4 corners of the building.

I was frustrated and dissaponted when I got to Cube smart office because that morning I called the call center and the person who helped me was not very helpful and rude. Cody ( Manager at the store in Gilbert) helped me at the store to sign up for a space and his professionalism and customer service could not be any better, it was beyond my expectations. I had all of my home furniture stored here for a little over 2 years while waiting for my new home to be built. In October of this year, I noticed water damage and mold all over ALL of my furniture, clothes, shoes, kitchenware, and even brand new items I was storing. Turns out there was a roof leak right over my unit, which was noticed by cubesmart and ignored for months. Cubesmart’s negligence and lack of customer care has cost me everything I own. I’m moving into a brand new home with nothing to put in it. I was given the run around for almost 2 months, just to be told by the manager that they don’t have to help me. I was an excellent customer who was always on time with payments and never fussed about price increases or anything. I was thanked for being so kind when I brought up my issue to cubesmart- just to be told I’m not going to be helped. My insurance that I paid for helped me, however I paid for a service I did not receive, and cubesmart should 100% be held accountable for their actions and refund me for the 2 years of storage that I have nothing to show for. Not only did cubesmart know about this leak, they refused to do anything about it since “insurance can pay people out”. Multiple units were leaking during active rain. If you have your belongings stored there I highly suggest you check on your unit. If you’re thinking of storing your things here, don’t. You will lose everything.

WOW! The staff Brynn, and James were amazingly helpful. I went into their store to check out some storage units for some of my college junk. These two employees treated me like their long lost best friend. They answered every question I had to ask, and even provided me with much needed water because it's so hot here in Arizona. If all customer service people treated their customers the way that these two workers did then the world would be a happier place. The only thing that was perfect about my visit was the temperature of their office, it was a bit warm and humid in there. Maybe that's why the kept asking if I needed more water. LOL

I have had a great experience with this location of Cube-smart. I stopped by 2 years ago to find out what they charge and Jen Simms helped me. I was surprised when two weeks later I came back in to rent a unit and she not only remembered me but remembered my name. She was extremely helpful walking me through the process and getting me set up. I was moving from another unit and they provided me the truck to make the move. Since then I needed to upgrade to a larger unit and Jen was there to help me get everything taken care of again. The personal touch that I have never experienced at a storage facility has kept me at this location. The other staff has been great also.

This storage facility is so clean. The location is convenient and the staff was helpful and friendly. Very reasonable rates; you can reserve a unit online. You can also show up at the office and check out the available units first if you want to see what they look like. It's climate controlled which is really important in the Arizona heat. There is an administration fee which is comparable to the other major self storage places.

There was no fussing around to look for available units, they are organized, and they make sure that all expectations, needs, and costs are covered upfront!~ The highest level of professionalism is consistently extended by all members of this team. I had a small hiccup in my moving needs that could have added more stress to an already upsetting situation- but... this team jumped into play, handled the need, and extended not only their time, services and help to meet my need. CubeSmart more than doubled my rate since I moved in without providing adequate notice. They used multiple increases consistently like clockwork. For a 10x15 unit at $365/month I was paying $4,380 per year. I rarely used the stuff I had so I threw a bunch out and moved the remaining items to a better priced company - American Storage in Mesa AZ. Good riddance CubeSmart, I'm now savings thousands of dollars per year!

From the first phone call made from Wisconsin through the two local visits to Chandler, Jenn and Patrick have been extremely pleasant and helpful. Assisted setting us up with the right storage space for our needs, remembered my name and how to pronounce it with weeks between speaking to me. Atrocious online system that literally makes it impossible to pay online (shows a payment is due but disables payment fields saying the account is current). Online message system gives an error message. Phone support has such a long hold time that they're impossible to get a hold of. Staff at location are nice, but hard to reach. Biggest mistake ever going with this company. I would love to give you money, but it sure seems like you don't want it.

The front desk personnel in particular Patrick Burns and Jenn Sims were gracious to me through out my stay. I'm leaving primarily due to a known rent increase to an already high priced rent. I'm leaving also because I believe my rent subsidies the amenities, conference room and vaults. I never see advertising by cube smart that these facilities are available. That's poor management of products. If these amenities were utilized 100% I believe my rent would not increase.

This facility is very nice and the staff is quick, competent, generous and helpful. The price is better than anywhere I found shopping the area for the same features. I am currently writing this review from the facility on their communal computer/printer station. There is also a very nice waiting area with comfortable chairs and I noticed they will turn on cartoons to keep your kids occupied while you move your things. Doors are automatic, equipment is provided for moving, climate control is a nice feature, and they even have a conference room that they will rent out. This is your best bet in the area by far.

We have rented three or four largest units for the past four years. We have always enjoyed knowing that our personal property is stored in a very safe and clean facility. The staff has always been more than helpful during these years. We recently had our bank card and accounts compromised and had to delay the use of any funds for a few days so that the bank and police could complete their investigation. We explained our delay of funds to Patrick Burns. He explained our options and limitations and we worked out a date to pay within the eleven day rule in order not to cause any penalties. Patrick certainly is a quality store manager......just wanted post a review to relate that we are satisfied customers and KUDOS for Patrick!!!

I'm going to name names as well because these people are exceptional in the work they are performing and when I say that it's because not even once have I ever felt like they could have done better or listened more. First William McBride is an absolutely amazing individual. He is not your normal employee or Manager by any means! He will go far in his career by virtue of his attitude, professionalism, attention to detail and amazingly genuine positive and joyful personality. I've seen him under pressure and when things were not the best and he every time kept things positive. Patrick Burns I have not known as long but what an amazing and serious hard working smart individual! He is what I would call professional/serious/friendly all at once, just like that! Finally Jenn Sims, she is the absolute sweetest, friendly hardworking lady you will ever meet! I can't tell you enough about this location and the amazing people working here, they really are that amazing! This place is amazing. I was thinking of going with Public Storage before but always had an uneasy feeling of the security of my stuff there. I came in here and was amazed with the staff and how friendly they were but also the security that is there. Patrick helped get me and my fiance set up and he did an excellent job explaining all the services available to me. He showed me the exact unit we would be using and made us feel comfortable from the beginning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone in need of a storage unit.

Hidden fees. Signed up for 15% off and first month free. Then I'm told at the location that it's $36 "Admin." Fee. And 12.00 required insurance. So my "free" month cost me $48 which is almost a full month's payment. I understand the insurance but such a vague term for a $36 charge? It's misleading and leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

Being forced to downsize from a large family home to a 2 bedroom apartment was very daunting. Fortunately, I found this CubeSmart location!! William and Patrick have been so very, very understanding as I was forced to go from not one, but eventually three storage unit to accommodate my years of accumulation. They did everything possible to make me and those moving our family stuff feel welcome, offered cold bottled water during the heat of the summer, etc. They did their best to accommodate my growing need for units and tried to make them as co-located as possible. Will never go anywhere else for storage - I recommend this location to everyone that states they are looking for a storage facility!

I've had a storage unit here as well as a safe deposit box for 6 years. Its a clean facility. All the staff I've interacted with over the years have been nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. The access hours met my needs and if I need access after hours they easily accommodated my wishes. Great place. Patrick, is very helpful. I came in to update my address and pay for my renewal today and working with his was easy. He cares for his customers. The lobby is clean, neat, and well taken care of. The staff of Will, Jenn and Patrick are amazing. I never imagined receiving personal attention from a storage staff. They know your name, storage number and are always asking if you need anything or if there are any issues. Our company has rented this unit for several years and we have a number of employees that have come by and they all say the same about this crew. I personally appreciate the holiday spirit and their toys for tots participation. Now that we're in the Christmas season, you can hear Patrick singing carols as he does his job.

The THOUGHTFULNESS , meticulous focus to details, professionalism, friendliness of the staff , the extra amenities in the business office for member usage was different and "its about time!" and a pc for members to use onsite was new to see and the Wi-fi access / benefits comes in handy when a customer needs to connect to a tablet device. I was given a free tour and the place and storage areas are exceptionally clean and answers to all my questions were direct, great eye to eye contact,WITH SMILES when I only came by to inquire and get info .I didnt feel "over worked" on the sales pitching efforts, ....the quiet, relaxed , more thoughtful, less pressured approach was noticed. While I was undecided to proceed in getting a storage unit at the time. OVERALL this is an excellent standard model for all storage businesses to refer to if they want to remain in business. "More is better" but at more economical competitive rates, that would be "attention-grabber" option that can be offerred-- to be locked in at a certain rate for longer term rental usuage and perhaps 25% cheaper per month becuz customer desires a year or more) , VERSUS fluctuating increase in rates after 6 months. <--Just a suggestion to help increase $$$intake&profits in the long run (????) and still create flexibility to those customers WHO KNOW what they want but benefit in staying longer, if a lower monthly rate ( by 25%) is given or offered--- then a longer commitment to stay & therefore, no need to compare anymore with other storage companies. Wish they had that option offered. Again, everyone in the staff is excellent!

The CubeSmart experience has been great...Patrick's customer service made the experience exceptional!! Hope he gets paid very well for how hard he works for the company. It truly is hard to get good customer service but when a young man goes the extra mile like he does...it builds brand loyalty and is worthy of rewards. The friendliness of the staff really sold me on this storage company. With competitive pricing and no hidden fees they truly made my business worth it. Honesty and Integrity go along way. We initially dealt with William who was outstanding; The entire staff was very accomodating to me and will definitley recommend this location to anyone looking for the easiest decision of their lives when it comes to storage. Jenn Sims took my husband and I around the facility, showing us potential spaces, the wine room, conference room and all that this particular CubeSmart has to offer. She was professional and very patient and helpful. We weren't definitely going to rent a space on this visit as we were mostly looking for information, but after having all of our questions answered by Jenn and feeling that we'd probably not receive as good customer service from other storage locations, we decided to rent a storage space with her that day. This location has a lot to offer including a secure building with many amenities that aren't often found at other storage facilities. Their rates are reasonable and with the Memorial holiday discount of 15% off and one month free made it a bargain. One thing to know is that they require that you have proof of insurance for your storage belongings or you are required at time of rental to accept their insurance which starts at a minimum of extra $12 per month. If you provide the proof later, then going forward you won't incur the insurance charge. Thank you Jenn for your help. You are a big reason why we chose to rent with this location of CubeSmart.

I rented a storage unit at this location for about 6 months. Loading and unloading my unit on the third floor was a BREEZE. Very convenient location and was pleased to see that the condition of my furniture and other items in the unit were still in terrific and clean shape once I left. William the General Manager was very friendly as easy to deal with. Finding good service is hard these days so it was much appreciated.

The facility is clean and easy to access, plenty of parking for people loading or unloading. William, the general manager, is friendly and helpful. While we were waiting for the elevator in the middle of emptying our storage unit, he brought us each a cold bottle of water, which was greatly appreciated. I would highly recommend using CubeSmart for your storage needs and will use them again in the future.

Our Family had 3 units rented at this location, I recently moved out of one and I can say working with William and Laurene has been a great experience. They are a great team,very profressional, and most of all they both understand Customer service. The building is very clean and well lit. The card entry system was alwalys working and access was easy. The use of the low cost moving van was very helpful and was clean and well maintained. If you need storeage in this area of town don't waste time looking around as this is the newest and cleanest in the area. I looked at 5 other places before renting here. When we moved out of one unit this week everything was clean--no dust or bugs.

I have been using CubeSmart at the South Gilbert Road location for three months and am delighted to write in regards to my experience. I am someone who uses the facility in a way that rings true to the CubeSmart mission, with my storage unit literally an extension of my business. For those of you who are considering CubeSmart for business purposes, there is a phenomenal manager you must become acquainted with; William. There are days when I need to meet with my clients at CubeSmart, and before I reach the lobby to greet them, William will have already charmingly welcomed them and provided them with a beverage. Countless times my guests whisper to me as we exit the lobby, 'He is amazing!" Majority of people I have come across over the years, with a similar career, are pleasant upon first visit, but over time seem to label any returnee as "old news." Not William. He never misses a beat and is competent, amiable and professional every single time someone walks in the door. The building is gorgeous, however the William-treatment makes this location worth telling about! Thank you CubeSmart!
