I would definitely recommend CubeSmart to family and friends. The customer service is excellent, Doug is always very helpful, knowledgeable, and has a positive / approachable personality which isn't the case with other facilities. Overall, this is a pretty good storage facility. It is always kept clean. My biggest complaint is how they constantly raise the rates. Sure, I understand that the "introductory rate" is not going to last forever and is a promotion to get you in the door, but they raise the rate every couple of months and it doesn't take long to be paying 3X what you started paying. What about loyalty?

I chose this particular storage facility because it is close to my home and thought it’d be convenient. While the GM is very friendly and accommodating, I must say there is no way I’d recommend this storage property. The climate controlled space I rented itself is okay, but I am 100% creeped out every time I have to go in there. It’s old, not very well lit (NO light source in the unit itself) The ceilings are closed off, light isn’t able to get through the unit. The biggest issue I have is that the entrance “security” gate has been OPENED for 3 weeks or more - when I say opened I mean 24/7 open- HUGE security breach! The first time I asked about the issue explaining my concerns I didn’t get a definite response- only a a sarcastic comment that it’d be more inconvenient if they didn’t leave it open 24/7 and customers couldn’t get access at all ?? The 2nd time the GM apologized and said he’s been trying to get it approved to be fixed for a couple of weeks??? A couple of weeks?? Overall- I should have researched better before I moved everything into my unit. I’ve been there for exactly one month- Looking for a new facility now. Hope this helps someone avoid moving into an insecure storage facility.

This is the best storage place I've ever used. It's very clean, well lit and secure. They have complementary carts for customer use and even music playing in the building. Raised my rates after being with them for 5 months. Far more expensive than others in the area. Not willing to match prices against the competition in the area. Facility was fine but they are really all the same so they only thing to differentiate on is availability/size and the price. Watch out for promotion rates and then getting bumped once you have loaded up all your stuff in the space. I guess that is when they think they got you.

This company has no integrity, no sense of customer service and truly is just out for themselves. I moved out of my unit on the 7th of the month but they had already taken the full monthly payment out of my bank account. They refuse to refund me the pro-rated the amount for the other 23 days but admitted they will be renting the unit out. Therefore they are just fine with taking money from 2 people for the same unit. I have been there for over 13 years too! So much for loyalty. I called corporate and they supposedly sent a message to the regional manager but I still have yet to hear from him! Horrible company! Dishonest and I refuse to support that!

No lights in the units. Update for July 2022: Everything is finally fixed. Update for 2022: One of the swinging doors has been broken for months. Lights are flickering, and today the only elevator is broken. They keep raising their prices annually quoting "Market Value" but can't seem to keep things in normal working order.

He resolved issues I had with my 2019 payment (never received a receipt or anything in writing saying how much I paid and when I was paid up through) and he helped get our info changed on the account (previous person would not update our email contact address.). I haven't even moved in yet, but one factor that should have changed my mind is that their units are not square, more like parallelograms. For one, you're called "Cube"smart... I don't get it. My boxes are square with right angles. My bed that has to be stored flat is rectangular. I see so much space being wasted; hope I can make the best of it!

This was my first time using a storage facility. CubeSmart made it quick and easy to reserve online. I received a call within minutes to confirm storage unit. On moving day, I was greeted by a friendly staff that processed my reservation in minutes and was even able to move my storage unit closer to the facility entrance. The complementary new customer truck loaner really came in handy. CubeSmart also supplies dollies to transport boxes to storage units.

Good place, but the "free truck rental" they offer is only for customers that have been there under a month. Those longer, more loyal customers have to pay $40 to rent the truck. Doesn't make much sense to me.

This is the second time I have rented from CubeSmart. They earned my repeat business. Both times the unit and the building was very clean. They had a good special going which helped with the first month's rent and fees. They take security seriously and called to let me know I had not properly locked the unit after I had been there. They had noticed my mistake on a routine inspection of the building. I was very grateful for the call! I am impressed with their customer service and facility management.

Love at first sight, it's clean, and simple. The freight elevator with free push carts. Very few places now a days actually deliver on "help making it easier on the consumer" this place does. I just moved from California to Gilbert and needed a storage unit quickly. We looked at multiple storage facilities and most would not have met my single biggest requirement. Accommodating a pallet jack. When we moved we put everything on pallets and no other air-conditioned facility could get a pallet jack through the door. With the truck arriving, we were under the gun. We got a 10x12 within an hour and were set. Moving headache OVER! Yay! The staff person on duty was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. She explained to us how the security system tracks who goes in, who goes out, and makes sure that only that renters unit can be opened without raising an alarm. My wife and daughters feel safe and comfortable using the facility. Great experience CubeSmart. Storage done right.

Throughout one week I ended up renting three 10x15 storage units. William, the GM, is awesome. He went out of his way to make sure the units were close together. The facility is gorgeous. No worries of bugs or theft! I stumbled upon this storage facility and it was a real find!
