The Cube smart property I used was well maintained, secure and easily accessed. But if you rent out a storage unit with this facility on a long term basis, expect to pay rate increases of at least 15 percent each and every year.

My Girlfriend has a storage unit with them She was told last year of April if she doesn't make a payment it would be auctioned and a day before we paid my girlfriend called to get the total amount to see how much it is to pay they had told her it was already auctioned which left both of us upset since we were told we had time to pay before it was auctioned. A year later .. my girlfriend went inside the storage unit to ask for paperwork of the stuff that was auctioned.. come to find out they tell her they never auctioned her storage with our stuff and its still sitting there since shes in the military they can't auction the storage and that she has to pay for all those months thats its been sitting there when neither of us knew it was still there. Its completely unfair of them to do this If you need storage definitely don't go here

I only stored my belongings there for a year. I had an interior unit and my belongings were covered in layers of dust and spiders. The facility was dusty when I moved in, there aren’t lights to see inside the units and the driving paths to the units are very small and narrow. Not to mention in the 1 year I was there they increased the monthly payment 3 times. We moved to the U-Haul in Waddell. Much cleaner, better security, service & experience. And only a few more dollars than that I was paying at cubesmart.

I would not recommend it. They placed a lock on my unit then couldn't find the key. Wanted to say it was my lock but it was there and it was noted. I had to pay twice for movers because of this and they didn't care. This place is only about the money nothing else. When you know you did something wrong acknowledge it and fix it or at least help. But they did neither and said if I didn't get it out or pay the next month they would put sense it into collections. Never again will I rent at this place. Penny was a great manager since she left it has been hell.

Took a tour of the units with one of the friendliest people I have met. The act of getting a storage unit is pretty standard, I have rented units from other places before. But her genuine kindness made the process enjoyable, and her ability to do her job made it quick. Deffintely not an NPC. I recommend getting a unit from this location if you're in the market for renting a storage unit.

This is a second review that I am providing. The first was in regard to the people at this location that provided us with support. That was a 5 Star. They were very professional and helpful. This review is for Cube Smart - the company. We have rented a 10x10 unit for a little over 2 years. We were currently paying $233 a month. I stopped in the location to see if we could move to a smaller unit. The person working that day asked how much we were paying. She was shocked! She explained that Cube Smart automatically increases your rent each year. So having been a good, auto-pay customer for over two years, I had been rewarded with two price increases. She then explained that the current rates were as follows; 5x10 =$65, 7.5x10 =$88 and a 10x10 (what we currently have) =$97. So we were paying $136 ($233-$97) more per month than we could be if we rented a unit today. That is 240% - almost 2.5 times more. If you or someone you know is renting storage from Cube Smart, I would suggest that you go there and see what their current rates are. So, as a longstanding, good customer, you aren’t getting the Cube Smart Shaft!

This place is great. I rented a unit 10 years ago when Penny was the manager. She was great. Now the manager is Ellen. She is the best! She is very friendly & will do everything she can if you need help. I used to have 2 small storage units, one beside the other. I thought by having two small units it would be paying less than having a big unit. Ellen researched. & configured the best deal for me. She told me to transfer both small units into one larger unit which i did, and now i pay HALF the price i had been paying before plus i have extra room to move boxes around & get to things if i need to without having to take the boxes outside my unit then have to bring them back in again. WAY TO GO ELLEN! Also, when i had an issue where i wanted more security ( my storage keys were missing) i called to let Ellen know. She immediately put their company locks on my units along side of mine until my keys were found. That gave me peace of mind knowing that my units were secure. I will definitely recommend this facility to my family and friends. FIVE BIG BRIGHT GOLD STARS CUBESMART!

She is just an amazing great lady! Since the day I met her to Change into a smaller unit a week ago, OMG let me tell you she (Ellen)has been the most helpful, respectful, funny, caring and patient with me being I had to change to a smaller unit and it’s almost 118 degrees and really hot .. she has been patient in me moving my stuff which helps a lot and keeps more stress off of me!!! I've been renting a 10'x20' storage unit at this CubeSmart location (Dysart and Glendale Rd in Glendale AZ) since February 2022. The location appears secure, the gate has always been operable for me, there's adequate room to take in a pickup with longer trailers without having to do 3-point turns or long backins up maneuvers. I've dealt with the store managers on a couple occasions, and found them to be friendly and very helpful. I can't think of a single negative thing to say, TBH. We're satisfied customers.

If you can find another place even if it is a little more in price you should go there because cube smart will raise the price of your storage in the last yr mine went up almost a hundred dollars I happen to compare with the guys across from me who's only been there for 6mos same size they pay $60 less than me a month.

Easy process, reasonable rates, easy in & out privileges. Clean spacious facility. One bad thing is a drain in the middle of one of the north rows. About wrecked the car the first time through. Even going slow Ibxouldnt see it till I was in it. That is a safety issue for sure!

The four stars is for the manager who sold us the box. She was really great. Helpful and knowledgeable and didn't try to rip is off. As far as rent prices and cleanliness the ??'s don't reflect them because I don't know what these things should rent for or if others are better facilities-wise as I didn't do any research and this was the only one we went to because it was across the street and we were in a time crunch. Sound familiar? Recommend for customer service.

The lady that was working the office the day I went was fantastic. Truly a customer service experience like few others I have had. Would compare the service with that of the Japanese. The place is easy to navigate and offers everything you would expect from a storage place.

The office manager lied about the “free rental truck” being rented out both days we needed it one being a Sunday 07/31 and the other being 08/06 a Monday. It sat in the SAME EXACT PLACE all day as we moved in on 07/31/2018 and again on 08/06/2018 and we were back and fourth all day. We asked if there are any cancellations for the “free rental truck” to please let us know as we really would love to use the offer of a “free” rental truck. Which is why we chose this storage facility to begin with. My husband and I were back and fourth throughout that week and saw the truck NEVER moved not even once. Why have it?! Why offer it?! We want everyone to know that the “free rental truck” is nonexistent. It’s there, but you CAN NOT use it. The manager will make up a story every time that it’s already rented out and pretend to check her calendar! It’s not right! Then she said to us when we did the walk thru to check the size and the unit that it would be cleaned and swept out, and it WASN’T! It was so filthy when we moved in, the same leafs and red flowers and the thick dirt layer were all in the same exact spot as the walk thru as well as our footprints. Cleaning it out is a lie as well. We will never rent a storage here again. We rented for only 1 week and canceled.

Reserved the space on line and also talked to the office by phone. Did not know insurance was required until I was there. Was told I could bring in Homeowners policy showing I had remote storage insurance so I did two days later and was told I could not get a credit for the first month, but would not be charged for subsequent months. I basically paid insurance fee and got nothing since I did not need it. Lesson learned by me

I'd give it all stars but the property manager made it clear after I cleared my storage unit out I couldn't throw away anything in their dumpsters since she didn't want to unlock it and re lock it .. ugh !! Otherwise not bad . Waaaay better than some other places !!

Vicki the manager there goes above and beyond what I would expect from someone at a storage facility. I think I'm so use to dealing with rude people at storages that I am pleasantly surprised at how easy going and helpful this locations was. She was very knowledgeable about all the deals going on when usually they tend to act like they have no idea what sales are going on via internet. Thank you and we will use this location in the future along with referring others to use this place.

I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. They are overpriced, and rude! Apparently every 6-8 months they increase the storage price .. ugh never again ! This place is beyond worthless and they don’t like to give out the number to corporate when you ask for it. They need to hire new employees because the two main ones that work inside are lazy and miserable with life obviously. I wish I could give 0 stars because they deserve NONE!

Let me start out by saying, this place sucks. The store manager is awful, had a question if I could store a 12 foot car into a 10x15, (I already knew it was gonna fit, just wanted to ask to be polite). All she was saying was “no” “no it’s not gonna fit”, didn’t even take the time out to actually think about. If she didn’t want a car in there, she could’ve just said so. After a minute or two of talking about this, she hung up. Just hung up. What kinda “our customers are important” store manager does this? An gross, disrespectful one. Taking my business elsewhere.

About one year ago I searched for a safe, clean, and affordable storage unit for our daughter. I compared a lot of storage facilities and I think all the work I put in paid off. Back then Penny was the manager and, thankfully, she still is. She is still as friendly and helpful as the first day we walked in! We witnessed her observing and keeping a close eye on everything. We feel our belongings are very safe. We recently needed a storage unit for ourselves and I was happy I didn’t have to do all the research again. I knew exactly where to go! CubeSmart 0340 on N. Dysart Rd. in Glendale! The most friendly, helpful and caring employees I have met! We rented other storage units before and it wasn’t anything like this! The moving in process is just as easy as moving out. Our daughter recently left AZ and moved out of State. Penny and Vicky were just as helpful and friendly during the move-out process. You don’t find this very often. Vicky is AMAZING! She went above and beyond to help out wherever she could. When she sees us arriving she opens the door for us and greets us with a very friendly HELLO and nice to see you again! Absolutely best customer service!!! Thank you Penny & Vicky for all you do and helping us to make a very stressful move much easier :) *****

Just recently had to move my household in a short period of time and needed a place close by where I am staying on a temporary basis. Called cube smart and talked to Penny who set me up immediately with the unit size I was looking for at an affordable price. The day I moved in to the unit, Penny was on vacation. I was taking care of by Vicky, who was absolutely wonderful and a pleasure to talk too. She set me up with a moving truck and a unit in a timely manner without any issues. While walking out to the unit, Penny, who was currently on vacation, was sweeping the unit, in 117 degree heat, to make sure I had a clean storage unit. Thank you Penny and Vicky for a wonderful experience during a difficult time in my life.

Some precious memories you collected over the years? Things which are very valuable to you, some of them impossible to replace? Then it’s very important that you find a safe and secure storage unit managed by honest, reliable and trustworthy people, especially when it is for your (adult) child. You definitely want to do the right thing. In order to accomplish this I researched 16 different storage locations in the area. My number one pick, CubeSmart, turned out to be the absolute right choice! I started the process by calling the toll free number to the main company. Jessica answered with a pleasant voice and was as helpful as she could be. Amazing first experience! The follow through process was fast, easy and prompt. Everyone made sure we (me, my daughter, and my husband) were taken care of and happy customers. Very professional! We got an awesome deal with CubeSmart for a 10x15 feet unit in Glendale, AZ. Penny (General Manager) and Leanne (Manager) greeted us instantly with a smile as soon as we walked in for the first time and have done the same every time since. Everything was handled fast and professionally, including the set up for the use of the FREE moving truck rental with tommy lift, which made the initial move a breeze, even in the hot Arizona sun :) We couldn’t be happier. We are so thankful they worked with us on the time we needed the vehicle and therefore made the move much less stressful!!! Penny and Leanne are both amazing. They were informative and courteous and it’s always a pleasure to speak with them on the phone or in person. We are extremely happy with the unit that was given to us, and the overall ease of renting it. I feel that our daughter’s belongings are safe and accessible. Access is granted until 10pm. The unit has the comfort of easy drive up access. The premises are well maintained, very well secured and clean. I feel confident, I made the right choice. They also sell moving supplies but don’t pressure any sales. They offered us water when we had to wait just for a moment because they got new furniture installed at the sales office. Still they managed to handle everything without any delays in processing all the necessary paperwork on moving or renting day. We are so impressed! They ALWAYS go above and beyond, very exceptional employees! When we were in need of a screw driver Penny didn’t hesitate to run upstairs to get one out of her apartment on site. We are so happy we chose this location for our daughters storage needs. If we ever need to store our belongings in the future we know where to go! I highly recommend CubeSmart. Leanne’s and Penny’s customer service skills as manager/general manager are impeccable, we couldn’t be any happier. It exceeded all of our expectations. 6/6/23 Moved out today. Elen was amazing. I lost my key. She cut off the lock and made sure I didn't need anything else. After I had everything out, she closed my account and thanked me.
