Going so well until we had to fight for a bathroom key? First off there’s not very many restrooms around in this Storage unit complex. So if you have to go to the bathroom, you have to walk quite far away to go to the bathroom and now just imagine this: you get to the bathroom and it’s locked. Now you have to go to the front office and get a key and now the front office is empty. It’s locked and the employee is on break for the next 15 minutes. So you walk all the way back to your unit in the middle of the complex wait the time and come alll the way back, get in the office just for the employee to say to go to this one and met with resistance about a bathroom key for a different bathroom. HINT: not everyone wants an audience just outside the doors This used to be storage west and they had bathroom doors that stayed unlocked unless occupied and that is extremely frustrating especially for people who have to frequent the bathroom more or are disabled like me. Yes, it was extremely easy and nice getting the rental and manager, Ashley is extremely nice and accommodating on the phone, but maybe we should think about easier access for the disabled.

So far it’s been great. I love the hours, and the fact its climate controlled. It’s very frustrating however that when i toured the facility there were 2 large carts near the door entrance to my locker. I have been there several times to put additional things in my locker and they have not been there since that first time. Im elderly and do not appreciate carrying heavy totes as my locker is way in the back. The last time i brought my own dolly which was quite helpful as once again there were no carts available near the entrance.

Front office was rude definitely not a morning person, why is it my problem that at 935 your business computer isn’t ready for you to do your job? The unit was clean I also learned from my husband’s daughter that when renting a unit they raise the rent at the 6 month renewal but if you prepaid 11 months in advance they will refund prorate the rent if you leave earlier. We shall see how it goes. There’s also hidden fees they don’t advertise until you’re ready to get the unit: admin fee, insurance, their lock that I’ll never be able to use elsewhere. That should be upfront on the website. Glad I don’t make a habit of having a storage unit last time was 36 years ago.

Honestly the best storage I have used and I have used lots of storage places. I've been there for a year and they always addressed any concerns I had. There was a rodent issue regarding mice but there are traps set everywhere throughout the property including inside the units. A new approach may help in that as well. Overall experience was great and will go back if I ever need them again.

Me and my wife love neatness, this storage is super clean, we searched out the best location. Let me say this, don't judge by the price, Cubesmart storage may be higher but you pay for what you get. With Cubesmart, you get a lot, your property protection, welcoming staff and very very clean environment, gated, easy access in and out of my unit, restrooms. And the Management was well trained and explained in detail about the units.

The person helping us couldn't even see. Maybe she left her glasses at home? She made several mistakes because of that. She told us we needed to buy a lock. It was $19.??. When we went to the unit to put the lock on, we opened the unit and there was a welcome bag with a lock in it! When we went back to the office, she took the new lock and wouldn't refund our money. That's a scam!

Place looks nice and clean. It's not so clean. In the last 5-6 months, they started to have a rat problem. My unit was full of rat feces and urine. Nice discovery after not having gone to get anything in a while. Did they send any sort of notice? Nope. But, they did know about it and admit it. I had to toss a bunch of stuff and I hope I don't get hantavirus from it. I have had a unit there for 3.5 years. They have nearly doubled my rent which seems to be an issue for this company. I vacated and will never, ever, rent from Cube Smart again. They are taking over everyone and screwing the customers.

I liked that it was easy to reserve and pay for my unit online, but then CubeSmart staff called me twice Just to ask if I had any questions. I was annoyed because if I had questions, I would ask -- I don't need phone calls to see if I have questions. The online forms were completed, payment made and everything was ready for me, but your team still thinks I needed multiple phone calls. :( Without the phone calls, this would be a "10"

The unit was clean with good access and lighting. The provided moving cart was a nice perk although there used to be two and one disappeared. My disappointment was their failure to keep in working order both the property's access gate and the building entrance door most convenient for me.

If you hadn't raised your rates so frequently, (Not even a year after moving in) and by such a large percentage. (from 220 to 279 to 310 to 379???) What is going on? Are you trying to get rid of me? Now I see you're also buying up all the competitors in town so you can monopolize the storage business. Not good for the cosumer.

The staff at this location are very friendly and helpful! During my move into their storage facility, I wasn’t able to find any carts. The manager quickly noticed and came to help. I was a customer at the Power/University location, was treated very well and had no complaints worth mentioning. I then thought of working for these folks and ultimately it wasn't for me. However, in the days I spent training under the General Manager, Traci, I saw "behind the curtain" and was in total awe. This lady goes above and beyond the employer expectations. She genuinely cares about, and wholeheartedly respects "her" customers/tenants. I'd highly suggest looking at this spot if you like the thought of someone who still believes in doing the right thing in all aspects. It is a company after all just like all the others so don't expect to take advantage of them or the system, but people like Traci are the human element that make it personal and worth returning to.

ABSOLUTELY SPOTLESS! I could not believe how spotlessly clean the units are at this storage facility. I do have an inside temp controlled unit so I can’t speak for the outside units, but the driveways throughout are impeccable. I’ve never experienced such a clean storage facility. You’d think it would cost a fortune for a unit at a facility that is kept up so well. That does require man hours and labor after all. Shockingly it’s more than affordable. It’s literally the lowest I’ve ever paid and all of my previous units at other facilities have been outside units. The neighborhood of this location is well kept also. I’ve had my beautiful unit for a few months now. Much to my surprise I have not had a increase is my monthly rate. WooHoo! I did however have a difficult time with the paperwork though. Being in the midst of COVID there was no access to the office. Everything had to be filled out online and specifically on a computer. I didn’t have access to my computer as it had been packed up for weeks. I was able to do much of it on my phone but not without challenges. Also, at this time the option to setup auto-pay wasn’t available. This resulted in a late fee after my first month. I’m not sure how I missed the memo regarding the part that you have to register your unit on there website before you can setup auto-pay. I thought I had set it up when I paid my deposit. Apparently not. Regardless, I’m still very please with the facility and my air conditioned unit. Oh! They even have a cart inside that you can utilize to move your stuff inside. How nice is that? Pretty darn nice! I highly recommend Storage West at this particular location.
