Nathan at the CubeSmart 0272 location on 536 Power Road, Mesa, AZ 85205 was able to assist with an issue that occurred. Nathan greatly assisted with addressing and providing great customer service with awesome follow through in being able to have the issue addressed. There was an attempt to break into my trailer stored on the cube smart lot. No security camera on the last RV row where trailer is stored.

0 stars. This location is not secure to leave property onsite. Was told for 2 years location has been asking for more surveillance for security and still nothing. Well guess im another example of why this surveillance is needed. And im Stil yet to hear back from the district manager to help resolve this issue. Never again will i be coming back to cube smart and will never recommend to anyone.

The management team was absolutely awful. The general manager has a poor attitude and gets overwhelmed easily making my customer experience frustrating. I had my storage locker broken in to and I had to be the one to coordinate with local law enforcement to file the police report. Moreover, the GM at my location was going to charge me for the new lock needed to secure my unit. If it wasn't for another visiting manager I would have had to pay for a new lock. As if that wasn't insulting enough, they didn't have video surveillance coverage on the isle that my unit was it. I'm beyond the words to describe my disappointment and dissatisfaction with this location and the corporate office. No one, absolutely NO ONE has reached out to attempt to rectify or reconcile my situation. To add even more to my abysmal experience, my other unit at the same location which stores my car has my neighbor spraying foam between the gaps of their unit and mine. The foam leaked into my unit and on top of my car, my tool box and tools. Running the paint of both items. This also forced rats into my unit and they've made nests out of the interior of my classic car. I cannot emphasize enough, thar NO ONE has done anything to help. I've repeatedly asked them to contact the owner of the unit to get them to stop, corporate is impossible to get ahold of and when I pressed the staff to do something, they were unhelpful and complicit in letting the other unit owner continue to do this. What awful service and a poor excuse for management. A lawsuit will be heading their way because there is absolutely nothing they can do at this point to fix this situation. My car is totaled from rats, my expensive tool box's paint is ruined, killing its real value. And the wheels and tires for the car, which do not exist anymore are not fixable. I will never recommend this location of CubeSmart ever to anyone and will be very vocal about my experience to whomever asks. Update: It's been about a month since I left my last review. I've since moved out of my final unit from this location. NO ONE from management nor corporate has reached out. Save for ONE call, placed by the "district manager" after hours on a Friday. I tried reaching back out multiple times, left a voice message, sent an email, ans even told the GM that they need to contact me. Absolutely nothing. What a waste of money. This location has done nothing but way of rectifying any situation I've had here, yet will gladly take my money. Come to find out, the reason they have a rat infestation, was becuase they allowed a tenant to store dry food goods in their unit. Which attracted rodents, ultimately leading to them destryoing the interior of my collector car, and my neighbor spraying foam in the gaps of his unit to prevent the rats from getting to their stuff. That foam, leaked into my unit, and ruined my tool boxs paint and a few pieces of equipment I kept in there. Do yourself a favor and research other locations and companies with better customer service. This won't be the location for you if you care for your property

The old guy with a white beard who I think is the manager is a horrible manager…I was meeting up to buy something off marketplace and he was trying to tell me he couldn’t let me out because I don’t have a code??? I was told to follow someone to purchase something and he’s trying to give me a lesson. I WAS TRYING TO LEAVE AND HE WAS TRYING TO KEEP ME IN. Fire this guy… trying to tell me I violated stuff ?!? If I was trying to get in I’d get it… he told me he didn’t see me go in he was standing there when I was outside for 30 minutes waiting for the person to show up. He’s a liar. Tried to keep me in there. 0/5 stars if I could. Worst customer service ever.

The amount of security to get in and out is comforting & well thought out. I loved the gift bag with a welcome note & pad lock for my rented unit waiting for me upon opening the storage unit. The price seems to be about average for the area. Download the app & login before you arrive. Its handy & makes your trip to storage that much easier. ** the keypad for gate entry is located at the entrance of the driveway. Not next to the gate or building. ** to open the gate you have to enter it as noted below. It wont work otherwise! (* gatecode # ) Those were the only 2 issues I ran into. Your trip can be completely contactless with those 2 tips. Hope my review is helpful! I definitely recommend cube smart!

Everything is able to be done on line when it comes to rental agreements. The lock is left in the storage locker. This way it's minimum contact during the covid situation. The teams are more than helpful in making sure all is going well. The site we are at also had truck rentals so it can be an all in one stop shop. It's wonderful. And this site I have used in the past so it was familiar to me. Just now it's under the Cube smart name. Definitely check it out.

We have never used storage before. Sal Hernandez shared with us the various options and costs. He never pressured us to make any decisions regarding costs or size of the storage area. He was so friendly! The storage area was very clean. The entire unit had easy access from Power and University. We rented for about 7 days. My wife and I highly recommend this place.

Every interaction we had with any employee here was very positive, including the time I closed my unit and put the lock on...but forgot to slide the bar closed first. They called that day to let me know. Check in was quick, check out was even faster. I was able to rent a truck at a great rate to bring my 'treasures' to the storage facility. The price for our 8x10 unit started out reasonable, but raised a few times to where we rethought our storage needs.

There place is always clean, well kept. They have good rates for there different size units you need. The guy who is the manager there he is awsome, he is very nice to the customers there, if you have any problems or have an issue he takes care of it asap. I would recommend this place to anybody.

Very unhappy with these people. I gave them two stars only because in person they were friendly, however we accidentally left a small stability support piece of our loft bed frame outside the unit leaning up against the unit next to ours as we were taking things out of our unit. Beth called and left a message which I did not get right away. Rather than even trying to reach me again before deciding to throw it away, they just took it to the dumpster when they didn't hear back from me right away. Beth said they can't hold things for people that they leave outside but come on...it was a small piece of a bed frame that would take up 2 inches of space in a corner until we picked it up. This has cost us $100 as that is how much the bed cost us to purchase, which we literally were only storing for a couple of weeks while we moved apartments. To me, this is was a very poor, inconsiderate decision to throw a piece of a frame that any average person would guess was a pretty critical piece to something. We will be relocating the rest of our stuff to another unit as we don't trust that they care about the belongings of people who pay them a decent amount of money every month to store their things. Horrible customer service!

Fantastic, beats U-Haul in everyway. Penske has beter customer service, nicer trucks and they didn't try to steal my money after. My days of using U-Haul are over, Penske will get all my business now. Thank you guys!

Yes! I will highly recommend this place there very understanding and care for you mostly when you can't make it to pay on that day. easy to talk to they listen to you now a days storage place is nothing but money or business don't care about you they don't like to hear what you got.this is how you lost everything means you have to pay this much and whatever they add on your bill. For someone like me can't afford much don't always get a chance!!! I'm glad I found this place very reasonable cheap!!! And the staff very friendly!!!thank you guys!!!oh! Another thing this tall shaved head guy don't no if he's the boss anyway very nice guy always helpful he makes you feel that everything is good no worries!!! Sorry forgot his name.

Needed a reasonable rate on a one way rental truck for moving some kitchen items and furniture from Mesa to Minnesota. Cubesmart is a Penske location and had a 12 foot moving truck that fit the need perfectly. I ended up picking up the truck later than originally booked ..4:30pm instead of 12:30pm..but the manager Beth said that would not be a problem. When I made it in to pick up the truck, Beth was still on duty and took care of getting me checked in, paperwork signed and explained. Very friendly and professional. Had problem when I went to get into the truck where some sort of decal had been pasted on the driver side window. Beth came outside saw the issue and then came back with a razor blade, some Windex and a clean rag to clean it all up. Within 10 mins... I was on my way. Great service at this location and a great manager in Beth ....very impressed.

I was greeted promptly but the associate whom regrettably I have forgotten her name. She was very friendly and down to earth. She promptly helped the customers in front of me and made sure I knew she acknowledged me. Prices were fair and I conveniently purchased my lock and tape here and it was fairly reasonable on price. Overall a very simple and pleasant experience. Thank you!

My daughter is moving here and I have been tasked with setting up the storage unit and renting the moving truck. So lucky that this facility has both! Michelle was so helpful in getting the unit set up and also helping me to prepay for the truck so everything will be a snap for my daughter on moving day! In the beginning cubesmart was great. Then they raise rates at 6 months then 10% every year after. Operating costs don't change but the office tried to tell me that storage prices fluctuate like real estate. I know real estate, this is not a desireable location... My same unit on country club (same type of area) was $99 but they don't price match within their own company... That's the first place a business price matches!!!! They said oh well, you can go somewhere else then. I'm sorry, when you could care less if a customer goes elsewhere your business model is flawed.. #readthefineprint

This place is great! They were very helpful when I came in right before close of business. The sign up process was very smooth and quick. The staff is very friendly and helped me out the very next day sign up for a bigger unit when we realized we needed more space, and they didn't even charge any cancellation or change fees! This is a very clean unit and have the longest access hours around. Best customer experience I've had at any storage facility.

I was helped by three different managers here and they were all incredible and patient. They answered all of my questions and never got frustrated. They showed me several units till I found the perfect one. Then when I changed my mind and needed to trade locations they made the process incredibly painless and fast! I never spent more than an hour in the office and they went above and beyond to help me.
