The rates and increases are crazy. Be prepared to close your unit soon after opening. Started in the $400 range and ended and closed close to $700 a month within 4 months! If you open a new unit you can get the rate down again but who wants to keep playing the unit moving game every few months. They use some type of algorithm that increases it as high as they can until you move. Then starts over with a new tenant at a lower rate. Corporate needs to focus more on keeping tenants and goodwill in the neighborhood

The price was constantly increasing, and when I would go in there to put stuff in storage or remove stuff from my storage, there was literally crackheads walking around inside. I’m pretty sure they lived in the units. This could be the reason why the price keeps going up.

So grateful for this place! I was able to get a good price at short notice and it is a clean, safe space. Today I had to sell a heavy tv stand from my unit upstairs and Larissa was super helpful. I explained to her that I was selling the piece online so I wanted to be safe and plan the route to bring the tv unit out. She actually grabbed the cart and went upstairs with me! She was also watchful and supportive while the two guys bought the furniture and loaded it onto their truck. I’m so grateful! Thank you Larissa!

I was 3 minutes late leaving my storage unit and got locked in the building. I spoke to the district manager Greg and he refused to help. I had to call the police. Very unfortunate bc I always had a positive experience with the store employees but I will be taking my business elsewhere. Shame on you Greg for your lack of compassion and willingness to help a human who made a mistake. Also the kind officer who helped me out explained this has happened before. CubeSmart needs a better policy for folks who accidentally lock themselves in the building. I just wanted to go home.

I have a lot of experience with storage facilities and they often get creative with ways to charge you for things. This facility by far exceeds any good experience I’ve had, period. I had a minor medical issue any was not able to finish loading my stuff into my unit. They took care of it for me and I lost my key to the unit in the process. In all they provided 4 services during this incident that other facilities would have charged me money for. This is a brand new facility and not saying that eventually they won’t have to make some changes, but their agreement is very straight forward and feels like they appreciate you being their customer, which is getting harder to find no matter where your doing business.

This place is a game changer, a very secure storage facility, with multiple security measures taken, which I very much appreciate. Very clean, very nice and best part the price is reasonable. As a matter of fact, I found these guys when my old storage raised my rent, and I'm glad to be here instead. The only con is they only had one moving cart, so you'll need to possibly bring your own. But 5 stars all the way.

We'd been storing here since the Spring, multiple units in good standing, all rents paid up, etc., and no major issues with the on-site 'managers'—a staff of just two. ...No issues, that is, until around the 4th of July. I'll not go into much detail, if any really. All you ought to know is this: DO NOT STORE HERE. This place is a well-lit nightmare. Run by dishonest crooks, lifelong rejects. Self serving, self loathing, and spectacularly inarticulate, anyone who draws a paycheck at this place ought to apologize publicly. Blow away in a storm, CubeSmart on Northern Ave. Disappear down a drain. POS company. And one last thing, hire an actual exterminator. You can't expect that poor old lady LIVING in the unit by the Exit to eat roaches forever. One more last thing, perhaps most important: 'F CubeSmart' is one 'e' and one 'a' away from spelling 'Because fart.' Place stinks

We were looking for a big unit to store salvaged house items during a large remodel. When we went to look at the units available, Michael was very friendly and professional. We rented online because it's a little cheaper per month and we need a big unit. After completing the rental we did a dry run to make sure it would be easy to use for our contractor. It's perfect for our needs. Shortly after we received all documents as well as a personal phone call from Larisa making sure everything was good. What can I say: convenience of modern technology combined with good old fashioned customer service. I'm happy!

At first I was quite disappointed in my service at this CubeSmart because despite the office hours being 9:30-6 no one was present in the office. I wanted to speak to someone instead of confirming online because I had never used a storage before and wanted to ask a few questions. Thankfully, after about 25 minutes of waiting someone finally showed up. His name was Mo and he had told me that it wasn’t even his location and that he had just been filling in. He walked me through everything despite that being his first time there. Mo is the reason I decided to give this place 5 stars simply because his service was incredible that it made up for the wasted time. He was very informative on every detail of the unit and had an incredibly kind energy. He mentioned that he owns the CubeSmart on 7th and Dunlap so I’d say that if anyone wants quality service and assurance that your belongings are going to be safe I’d definitely skip this one and go to his instead because that’s definitely what I will be doing next time I store.

The person of contact was very polite, knowledgeable, and patient and I had plenty of questions. The facility was very convenient and clean with is extremely important to me. The price compared to others was very reasonable. The accessibility from truck or storage unit was easy. Many units to chose from.

I’ve been a customer for a while. Transferred to a larger unit. This location told me they had 1 cart for the whole location and were hoping to get a new manager or something soon so they could get approval to order more. I had to go out and buy my own hand cart for $80 just to move stuff from one unit to the other. They had 10 carts when I first moved my things into there. Super disappointed and really poor reflection on the way this location has been run.

The place is practically new, but they aren’t keeping up with it very well. I have an air conditioned unit on the 2nd floor, and to get to it I have to input my entry code no less than 3 times which sometimes hits me as good’n’safe but other times as good’n’annoying. They have raised the rates twice over the last year nearly $50/unit, so I’m leaving ASAP. When I first signed up, my 10x20 was $170.00+ tax(+/-) endded up about 185, then raised to where it ended up being 205, and starting in two weeks (Nov 13, for me) it’s going up to about $230. Holy hell! No thanks! Friendly staff, when they are staffed. I wish I could say better things but these are what my experiences have been! Thx

Super clean and well kept. Truly felt my valuables were secure. Units are actually temperature controlled. Ran into an issue on my end and the team was super flexible and understanding. Treated me like a human and that’s all I ask for sometimes.

Not very clean, no trash cans. They lock the bathrooms, even during business hours. If there's trash in front of your unit they might fine you 300. I told the so called new manager that my door was broken and had proof it was broken she told me that I did It and she was going to charge me the bill to fix it along with 300.for having a wad of paper in front of my unit. Don't go there. NOT A PLACE to Go. She also walked into my unit aggressive getting into my face.

I used to think this place was great until I was accused if doing something I didn't do. I was super offended by the accusation. The reason why there are 2 stars is due to Miguel and his understanding during a situation that I was facing. If it wasn't for him being so understanding and working with me I would have lost everything I own. My advise to those who rent here is to watch everything you do and make sure that there are no openings for the eviction process to slip through. Read every part of your lease and understand how easily it is for them to evict you and you have no way to fight it.

Directions were wonky getting me there, telling me to turn on 21st Ave. The turn in is right off if northern. Great facility, well lit, great hours, climate controlled, 1st floor drive up units and yes they are climate controlled too. This only lost a star because of the elevator to the 2nd floor. The elevator is deceptively large so no problem there. After entering your code twice to get into the building you still have to enter the code again just to push the elevator button. Also the door on the elevator is way too quick to close. While it does have a pretty good sensor I still felt like I was battling it the whole time. Also there was not a single moving cart anywhere that I could see. Luckily we had out own dolly.

Rent a unit, just hoping the facility gets clean up more, especially the floors that our vehicles drive on oil spills, garbage, and other liquids. I know they are working on hiring and training new staff, looking forward to improvements. Suggestion, maybe temporarily hire a cleaning crew to clean once every couple of weeks, I understand it is hard for employees to clean and watch the office at the same time.

Edit: Since I posted my review there have been changes. I haven’t seen shady people around. The carts are available for use again. I appreciate the quick changes made. This facility is awesome. ____________________ The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because at first they had carts available to unload boxes to take to your storage unit if you’re on the second floor. Last two times I’ve gone there the carts were nowhere to be found. A few weeks or so ago when I brought some boxes to storage it was around 6-7pm and there were people there obviously living out of their unit and they had carts in their unit with their stuff on there. It did give me a feeling of unease having people watch me unload things and take to my unit and there was a kid running around with no shoes, shirt, and pajama pants from one of the units that they were obviously living in. My friend was very concerned about driving her dad’s truck out with the kid running around. On the positive side the facility is very clean and I feel that the security measures they have in place are great to keep my things safe. I just wish it was monitored more after office hours.

I gave them 5 stars early in the year for their indoor drive up way of doing things but there are never any carts for use, bathrooms have been closed for months, and the rent went up just 6 mo's into lease. Not sure if it's worth it anymore.

I'm not sure what the woman's name was, I don't know why I want to call her Sam, but she was incredible! She walked me through every option possible, trying to save me money along the way. She explained the contract in detail. And I don't mean the contract for the length of time, because they don't have those. Just the contract that explains what is and isn't acceptable in the storage units. The storage facility itself, is absolutely amazing. There are cameras everywhere and the security to enter is refreshing. There are alarms on the storage units, so if someone opens your door and your code hasn't been entered, an alarm goes off. being able to drive right up to my unit, was the highlight of my entire day! Moving itself is so stressful and exhausting. It made everything so much easier. You do get your first month free, but remember you have to purchase insurance and a lock, unless you have your own. But paying $62 for the first month, including insurance, the lock and the $24 administrative fee.... It's still extremely cheap considering the other quotes I got. I would recommend this place to anyone who needs a storage unit!

Truly a state of the art storage option! The customer service is fantastic and the wide aisle in the middle of the building lets you pull your vehicle into the air conditioned facility to unload your belongings. If you want to make moving significantly easier, I recommend using this facility!

Wow - this storage building is amazing. I have never seen something quite like they built where you drive through the entire facility. Any Arizonan knows how brutal it can be visiting their storage unit in the hot sun but here you just pull your car right inside the building to your unit. I forgot the manager's name but he was super helpful. Couldn't recommend more!
