The whole rental process was super simple.i rented signed my agreement and made payment online. I reserved while the store was closed. They opened at 8:30am, by 8:39am I was being called by Cody at that location. He left me a very nice voicemail - I was on my way up there- Cody explained the process how the gate code works on the app and was just a real gem. Later in the day he went and found me a hand cart to help get my heavy boxes of business inventory into my unit. Cody has customer service down - smiled a lot very knowledgeable and makes sure that all of the details are talked about.

They raise the rent on current renters then have rates almost half the amount for new renters coming in for the same unit. Since Cube Smart took over the storage units that I had been renting they have raised my rent over the time by almost $150. Also to pay online or by phone they charge you extra. The on-site staff are nice but they have no say because things are a corporate decision.

I rented a unit from this place when it was Storage West and had no issues. Storage West gave me a veteran discount of $303/month. After CubeSmart acquired the business, they eliminated the discount and raised rental to $338/month, then a few months later to $379/month, which left me stuck paying the extra $76/month until I could find another place and save enough to afford to move my belongings !!!

The staff is great, when I first moved in I was very happy. A few months in my bill increased and the staff said it was as expected that all facilities rates would change from time to time, I wouldn’t know if this was true or not since it’s the first time I rented. For the last 6 months of me renting the climate controlled area doors were always open since theirs retractora where not operational. Or if you were trying to move things in or out the door stoppers would not work. When I brought this up to the staff I was told there was a work order for them to be repaired and months passed and never saw a single repair. Paying $130 a month for a 5x7.5 unit in a climate control area just didn’t make sense. I moved to public storage on Avondale Blvd and Lower Buckeye where I got a 10x10 for $106 a month.

Worst customer service. They are charging my mom late fees for a mistake they did on their end. Asked to speak with a manager/supervisor and was denied to talk to them directly. Was advised to call the 1-800 number which I did. All they said was go talk to the storage manager directly as we cannot reach them. Was given a gate code that did not work. Someone let us in and we unpacked then found that the key did not work waited 2 hours to hear back from the so called emergency lin found out drom the manager at the storage office that customer service lied and said we called about a green temporary garage lock.another code whick did work finally. No follow up from the manger or office almost 24 hours later.

I reserved the wrong unit, as I needed one with drive up access. Immediately called customer service to cancel that reservation and reserve a different unit, but I was still charged for the unit I never used. This wasn't a mistake, they told me this was their policy. So it's company policy to charge you for nothing. Stay away from this scam company.

I am very disappointed in this place. Our storage unit was recently broken into, they pretty much took everything except our Christmas tree and Christmas decor and a few random items everything else was stolen. When we advised the front desk Michelle asked for the additional keys since they provide 3 and my husband only had 1 at the time. We were both under the impression we were only given 2 keys but I later found the 3rd key at home. No one lives with us and no one comes over due to covid so it was impossible for anyone to take it and bring it back. Anyways we tried to explain this to Michelle and rather than sympathizing with what we were going through she insisted that someone we knew a friend or family member broke into the unit and that they had the missing key she was super unprofessional, rude and disrespectful ( at this time we still hadn't located the 3rd key) We insisted that even if we had other keys no one even knew we had a storage unit, it's location, passcode to the facility or unit number it was impossible for anyone we knew to do this. We were arguing back and forth the hole time because she kept ignoring the fact that the lock was clearly tampered with. When my husband tried to open it the lock fell right out without effort or twisting the key. The lock was missing the back part so we insisted there is no way one of our keys was used when clearly the lock was tampered with scratched and missing the back part. We did not get their insurance so it doesn't look like they care much. They stated that there is nothing on the cameras that shows what happened since they only go back 30 days but what if it was an inside job. Or what if there is a thief disguised as a customer who has a unit of his own and transferred our stuff to their unit and no one would know since there are only cameras on the outside of the building none in the inside. Why aren't there cameras inside the building, why do your cameras only record the last 30 days? Why don't you have security on site? You are paid a monthly fee to safely store our belongings and you failed us! I lost all of my dads stuff (my father passed away about 4 years ago) as well as my wedding dress. I can't replace any of these things and that's heartbreaking. I hope all your clients read my review before they decide to rent from your facility.

We started renting a parking space about 3 years ago. Price started at 50ish, we keep getting notices that the price is going up. Now we are at about $110 for a parking space that requires no electricity, no AC, but the letter says due to rising costs. For the amount, they should be putting a shade structure, then I think the increases would be worth it. Not sure when the increases will stop, but I am looking for a new place, its getting ridiculous.

We used this storage for 2 months while waiting to move into our new home. The manager, Ms.Gonzales is friendly and very professional. The set up was super easy with her. The office was closed at the time due to covid. She made the move in super simple. I highly recommend using this storage unit. The location is great, you have to put in your code to get in and out of the facility. Which makes it very secure.

Let me just start off by saying that my husband and I called Michelle at 5 o clock yesterday evening & let her know we were looking for a specific size of storage and we would be there before closing time, we also let her know we were driving down from Prescott Az (where I currently live). She was the sweetest person on the phone, but once we arrived I informed her I had called and left her my name and told her I would be here, she immediately interrupted me saying she was closing down and she had already put away the golf cart. I was ok with not seeing the storage as I had made sure what size we needed and I informed her of that I asked if she could just print the contract and I could pay for it without seeing the storage, since I did come down from Prescott! She immediately got defensive and argued back saying " I expected you would arrive in 30 minutes" ! I again told her I came from Prescott which is no where near 30 minutes from Tolleson. She finally told me she couldn't rent the storage because she had a hair appointment and couldn't be late! This is what bothered me the most I've worked in a customer service setting for the past 5 to 6 years and you never tell a customer that you're closing down a few minutes early because you have a hair appointment! Very disappointed in my first experience trying to rent a storage space!

I really like the location and have rented here two years ago. This time however, was difficult to get in touch with onsite manager, two days still playing phone tag, I have a UPACK 26 ft trailer coming in from CA and needed a 10 x 20, the one I got was a long walk from where they can park the trailer, space around is wide so easy to drive around with my truck/trailer and the UPack driver won't have any trouble getting the trailer in. kinda disappointed with the service as it was great two years ago

Rarely have I encountered such a wonderful experience at a storage unit! Remember customer service? Jose, the manager, has been taught at an early age the value of customer service! I rarely write reviews because it's time consuming. This one is worth every second. THANK-YOU JOSE! You will go far young man. You have helped restore my faith in humanity!

I think prices are ridiculously high, I wanted to move my stuff out and couldn't because my payment was due in the 5th and by the 12th I had accrued late fees so now I have to pay for the whole month although I wanted my things way befor my next payment. Management would not work with me at all!!!! Im going to pay obviously but now I won't move my things out until the very last day! If I could give it zero stars I would, because uhaul lets you have one month free rent i learned this afterwards. Will never use this again and certainly will not recommend
