Since CubeSmart bought out StorageWest in Scottsdale it is a down hill run for those of us that had experience personal and consistent good service from the past management. CubeSmart is expert at raising their rent & terms.often with no consideration for the length of years you have maintained storage with an impeccable payment record. To add insult to this situation, my inside airconditioned storage unit ended up under attack by ground termites that entered though a foundation floor crack destroying wood framed Art work even going under the glass an mats. After showing this unacceptable damage CubeSmart management response was "Unfortunate but not our problem." There are many other options for good storage in our Scottsdale area. CUBESMART is NOT one of them! Look on,..Zero is my star rating of choice.

I called and spoke with Abraham on the phone. He was very polite, friendly and professional. When we showed up in person to rent a space within the hour, Abraham was just as pleasant in person, very nice and knowledgeable. He showed us the space, we completed the rental process, unloaded our belongings into our storage unit and were on our way home quickly. The entire process was very quick and easy. The location, property, office and storage building are all very nice and feels secure and safe. I’m very happy this place is close to home and convenient while we need the unit. As other reviewers have stated, the store manager at this location Cheyenne, was amazing. When I called to book my appointment, she remembered my having visited months ago. She answered all of my numerous questions, she continued to answer them via store text message, and she helped me confirm my account was all set up and good to go. The unit was slightly less than when I first shopped so that was a nice surprise, but Cheyenne also made sure I received any available discounts and credits. This facility is clean, secure, and just works. Love the location. Always a good experience. Nice to know my things are in good hands. Edit : 5 stars to 1 star.... drove 13 hours straight and show up to my pre paid unit. The door to it was a fraction of the size of the unit itself. Created a massive headache and waste of time for me. Found a unit over twice the size for the same price 5 minutes up the road. Cubesmart wouldn't price match it so I moved on.

We've rented storage before for the in between months for our kids in college and other moves. Not used to seeing such helpful, engaged staff. Adam exceeded our expectations when we encountered a problem on move out day. He was kind, knowledgeable, and so helpful (he even recommended an awesome lunch place nearby - Hummus Republic which was fantastic)! The facility is clean, safe, well-lit and cool which you definitely want in the summer heat. Highly recommend!

I've seen this facility go from storage West to Life storage and now CubeSmart. CubeSmart knows when people want in a storage facility. The two previous operators had ridiculous gate hours 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and it seemed ever inaccessible except on a weekend, for those that must work until 6:00 p.m. The cube smart operator extended gate hours to 10:00 p.m., making for better access and less stress of being locked in should you go one minute past the scheduled gate closing. The staff are friendly knowledgeable and kind of cute. If you're looking for storage on the north side of Scottsdale east side of Phoenix try this place. Clean well run and worth every Star of five.

This is the absolute best place I have ever used to store my belongings. It is very well maintained and gated with ac, elevator and moving carts that are always available. But that isn’t the best part, the best part about this place is Mike. He runs it, is always available, and makes it his personal duty to ensure the comfortability safety of his customers. Even when I had a late payment of for some reason there was an issue with the card I had on file, I always, 100% of the time got a personal call from Mike asking if things were alright and what we needed to do to clear things up. This place is great on it’s own, but the staff and service are something you won’t find anywhere else.

The facility is very clean and well managed. I stored my stuff for almost a year and didn’t check on it once and had no issues, no lock tampering, everything fully protected. Knowing Mike and Gwen live on site made me feel even more confident in my choice to store here. I cannot say enough nice things about this facility and especially the owners.

This review is long overdue. Mike if you're reading this - I'm sorry it took me so long. From initial appointment scheduling, to being shown the facilities, to using the moving truck, to being given life advice and a true ear to the situations that brought me to using his services, to dealing with a flaky 20-something year old customer and his lazy mother, Mike is the utmost shining example of a good businessman providing quality service to those around him. While plenty of other reviews probably already speak highly of the day to day dealings Mike has with his customers, I want to focus on how he handled me, a customer that I consider to have been a pain in his side due to my own shortcomings: After storing my things in a unit for about a year while in between places of my own, I moved everything out during an evening, when no one was in the office to close out my account. My mother, who helped open the account, and I mis-communicated to each other about who would follow up to close the account, and I forgot about it almost immediately. Four months later, my mother notices that she is still being charged for the unit. Since she thought it was closed, she immediately fought the charges before checking with me. Not only does that look bad on Mike, it also put him in a bad position because he was in fact owed the money for those months. Instead of reacting in kind and fighting back, Mike continued to work with my mother and I to correct the mistake, even though it did not happen overnight. Mike's compassion, empathy, and gentlemanly behavior will forever be something I look back on for inspiration. And for anyone still reading this, I would highly recommend this specific location over any other in the whole valley due to its stellar operation and management. Storage is storage. Mike manages to take what could be called the most boring industry in the world and make it feel special.

I didn’t put a bed or sofa in it but I did place my plant tables, dining table, and computer desk inside. I probably placed about 15-20 small boxes (1.5 cubic feet) stacked. If I could give more than 5 stars I would! The level of customer service that Gwen and Mike provide is unmatched. They care about you as a person and want to make sure that your needs are met and that you are completely satisfied. They care so much and you can tell they love what they do. The storage facility itself is great! It is clean and the climate controlled units are kept at a great temp. I moved in to my unit on a very hot day in June, and inside felt cooler than I keep my home. Overall you cannot go wrong, the facility is great, but Mike and Gwen make it even better!

This location is clearly owned and operated in an optimal manner. My wife and I had separate units at this location; from start to finish Mike met our storage needs and beyond. He allowed us to use his truck and facilitated the exact unit sizes we needed. He was attentive, respectful, and communicated efficiently. We have been going through an eventful time in our lives and so thankful to have been met with Mike's enthusiasm, consideration, and flexibility!

The facility managers Mike and Gwen are so professional, honest, and personable. They really care about their customers and look out for them. Mike gave me helpful suggestions on packing my boxes, safety tips especially when I sold a few items to Craig List buyers. I had my stuff stored here for 18 months and I knew I was in good hands with Mike and Gwen watching over the property. I highly recommend this facility and I will share with friends and family, and will store my things here again! Thank you Mike and Gwen!

Mike & Gwen are amazing. Professional, helpful, kind. Knowledgeable. They make you feel like family. The facility is immaculate, safe and secure. We have rented from others, but this facility is far above & beyond any storage company we have used previously. And we feel that 90% of that is due to the management team of Mike & Gwen. We have been renting here for about 5 years. And we recommend it to everyone.

My experience at this location was so good the first time that I am now a returning customer! Mike cares about the safety of my property and his property to a great extent. I have no worries of anything ever happening to my property while being stored at Storage West. Mike went over how things operate at his location and it gave me peace of mind to know that he generally cares about his location. Safety and price are important to me and he beat all other prices in the area.He and his wife make my experience so wonderful and provide a safe environment with a friendly and helpful customer experience. I would recommend 10/10.

We recently moved here to Scottsdale and needed storage for our furniture. My nephew recommended Storage West because he is a current customer. The manager, Mike Is wonderful and has a great personality! The entire place is pristine and so convenient. Mike and Gwen are always there to help or answer any questions. We are very happy with our unit and I would highly recommend Storage West to anyone looking for great space to rent along with great management.

From the first phonecall, Gwen was extremely helpful. She explained their rates and promotions very clearly...she helped me pick out the perfect size unit so I didn't need to spend extra money. Her husband Mike explained the rest, insurance and all that, extremely well. Great folks, I love doing business with people like this! The place was completely clean and in a nice part of town, so I have no doubts my stuff is well taken care of.
