Overall the experience of renting a parking spot for my car went pretty well. The complicating factors were that I am several states away and a friend was in the area using the car and will be the one dropping it off. The paperwork to accomplish a seemingly simple task was daunting, but Jason and the GM Jessica were very helpful and pleasant.

Do not rent storage from these people. They will rip you off. They charged when we wanted to get the billing date and auto pay changed for my mothers unit. They did not make the proper change so the payment came out of my mothers account prior to her SS deposit. She’s on a fixed income. The charge was rejected since they tried to debit on the old date. She got a delinquent charge and they put a lock on her possessions. They did take the late fee off but would not give credit for bank overdraft fee that was their making. Nor did they credit back the amount she paid to change the dates. Mom is out almost $50 messing with them. Thats a weeks worth of groceries for her. Also, they are poorly staff. The office is always closed during business hours. I’m not 100% sure but we closed out another unit when my daughter moved into a lovely condo. We think this place has large cockroaches because we saw two in her boxes. The new unit does not appear to have pests and there were no pests in former unit. Its is possible that they came from another renter. We have never had this experience at another facility. Do yourself a favor and rent from anywhere else or I guarantee you will regret it. Poor management and customer service.

I would give zero stars if I could. We had this unit for 2.5 yrs. When we moved into it, it was climate controlled with a swamp cooler. Once management changed, the swamp coolers were either shut off, or broke and they decided not to repair them. Therefore, some of our furniture was ruined due to the change in temperatures. No reduction in price to the storage fees, either.

My unit was supposed to be climate controlled by a swamp cooler. A lot of my things were ruined because the unit was either never on or broken. The pavement inside this CubeSmart is super uneven. They charge outrageous late fees. My bill was always over 200 dollars for a 10X10. I spent more money on the rent than what my things were worth and then to pull out my stuff all ruined ??. I will take my business elsewhere.

Price increased over 3 years from $175 to $300!! All of my new mattresses got leaked on from the roof and were junk. I told the manager and he said nothing!! The slide where the lock went never worked right and was fixed numerous times and finally the day I moved what I was keeping that wasn’t ruined he fixed it. I did notice there was new management in there since I moved into there. He was going to lower my rate a bit but I never knew that was even an option since it was increased so often. Unfortunately it was too late on that end. This location needs an upgrade on the units that are outdoors.

Nice place nice people but their Apple needs work because 3 times I was making payments online because that's the way they accept them and 3 times the payments didn't go through but told me they did the last time because of the circumstance following that I ended up with my stuff being auctioned Or paying a fee to release my storage back to me before the auction which was way more than The value of the property within it so I ended up having to se Surrender my possessions I just hope somebody monitors what people in those places do that by these storage switch compartments at auction does with any paperwork with personal information or if they go through with themselves and the recommendations and destroy it to protect the former leasee

I was introduced to CUBESMART Self-storage in Surprise, AZ in support of my dear friend who had items in storage and was moving out of state. The General Manager Lakisha Manning came by the unit and saw that my friend and her sister were moving items into the truck by themselves. The others who were supposed to be there to help, couldn't make it last minute. I would have loved to help, but could not due to a broken arm, so it was just the two of them moving the items. Lakisha was absolutely amazing! She brought bottled water, disposed of a large item not being taken, and helped move the larger items into the truck! This facility is absolutely amazing. I cannot say it enough! I originally rented a unit here after my husband passed away suddenly. I’ve stored with them for 2.5 years and never once been disappointed in the service. The owner has come out late at night to the gate to help me. She has worked with me on payments. But today, she really went out of her way. I went in to clean my unit out and close my account, and I had my son (2) with me. When he asked if she maybe had some candy, she said she was sorry but she didn’t. He was so sad! An hour later, she pulls up to my unit where the uhaul is parked and brings a WHOLE bag of candy and gatorades for us. I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and kindness. If I ever store anything again, I will go to this location every time. ??????

First, I ended up needing a bigger storage unit than what I thought I would need when I first called. Come to find out, you don't get the first month free on a bigger unit, only half the month. Not sure why that is? Second, there was only one employee on the premises working. So, after we paid and we were ready to go to our unit, we had to wait several minutes for him because he had to help several other people who were coming in. Third, after he was finished helping everyone we waited for him to come out the door because he needed to get the broom to sweep our unit. When we saw him come out the door, we drove off to our unit thinking he would be right behind us in his cart. We waited by the unit for about 15 minutes, I then decided to drive back to the front to see if he was coming or to see what had happened to him. Sure enough he got stopped by another customer and he was renting out another unit, all while we were waiting for him to help us with our unit so we could begin moving our belongings in. I ended up getting the broom from him and I cleaned the unit myself, because I was tired of waiting and I had somewhere else to be. All in all we were there for about an hour and a half and an hour of that was just waiting. I am not blaming this employee whatsoever. However, I am blaming the actual management of this facility. How can you have 1 employee working and expect to provide great customer service? With all the storage units popping up all over Surprise, you would think that providing great service would be a priority!

Got there at 10:20 and needed to pay. Be back sign for 20 minutes later, gone to post office sign. Was in window. Manager, was very nice and apologized when she returned. I paid 5 days late and asked if they would have double locked my unit. I was told no that they did not lock until 7 days. Got to my unit and it was double locked. Went to office and there was a be back sign/ manager on premises sign in window and door was locked. Frustrated waiting. What should have been a 10 minute stop turned into over an hour. Quite frustrated.

Lakisha was very professional, explained everything to me in a detailed manner. All of my paperwork was clear and understandable. Even when I misplaced it an hour later, she was happy to assist me again with giving me all of my necessary paperwork. I was offered water and coffee. The office was in immaculate cleanly condition. Everything was very well organized when I decided to purchase extra boxes it had no issues and wasn’t confused due to the organization. We have 2 10x20 storage units at this location as we are buying home. We've had units at Dollat Storage but this one beats them hands down on every metric. These are climate controlled and very clean for slightly cheaper. Employees are polite and helpful.

Macy was very nice and extremely helpful. We walked in 15 minutes before close and even though I had already told her over the phone to push my reservation until the next day she was more then happy to help. I would absolutely recommend for all your storage needs.

Yesterday evening we were in search of a new storage company. We made a few phone calls & did some research online. We decided to visit this Cube Smart in person. We were SOLD on this location. We received AMAZING customer service from Macy McCartie. She went above and beyond to show us several units, explain policy, payment, hours, how the free month and online discount works when we questioned it further. She was perfectly professional and this level of service is very rare these days. It was a late Friday, long holiday weekend...she treated us like we were the 1st customer of the day. Although we would love to live without a storage unit altogether, she made this experience very positive and money saving. Every penny counts for a family of 7. We are excited to make this switch tomorrow ??

I came in to pay my sons storage rent and had the absolute pleasure of meeting Hailey and Macy. They are such sweet girls and you can tell they truly care. It was definitely nice change compared to the previous office workers of this location who were always so rude and snotty. These two girls are so fun and professional, honestly you should be proud to have employees like them. I will recommend everyone I know to this specific CubeSmart just so they get the pleasure of interacting with these wonderful ladies.

I have never thought I would ever need storage but as time goes on , kids stuff, husbands stuff, holiday stuff accumulates quick. I used Public storage down the street both stores priced the same I just stopped by to check out what deals Cube-Smart might have. Within 2 minutes J.D. had me Laughing and made me feel I made a mistake with Public storage. I have since reserved a unit with him and plan to move in this week. Two thumbs up.

The facility here is freaking awesome its always so clean and the payment are cheap and easy. One if the guys that work there his name is J.D or josh he's awesome amd very nice always good to see him around and he was very helpful with info on my payment options and even before I got the storage get guy thanks J.D.

I love this storage facility. It's new, clean and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. All qualities are rare to find in a storage facility. The location is great and the entire property is secured. I dealt with the Manager Josh, and he is always upbeat, happy, helpful and friendly. Will definitely use this place for future storage needs.

Always have liked you guys been here for over 3 years now staff is really great . Just DO NOT appreciate the price increasing on me as many times as it has , this last time with NO WARNING not okay with this for the size of storage I have . What's next will it get raised on me in another so many months because of your upgrades or your so called minimum wage being raised twice already . It's really ridiculous !!

Nice people. They just did not remove the lock, so when I went there after office hours, I was fortunate that someone was still there to remove it when I had all the furniture with me and some family helping me out. It was removed after close to an hour of waiting though, and there was the possibly that I had to turn around with all the furniture.

It was satisfactory. When I arrived knowing exactly what I wanted, the sales girl was unaware of the internet specials. Also the sign on the street drew me in and then once inside, they would not offer me the special of first month free rent. The sign by the street does not specify " restrictions". Then I had he remind the associate of the sale price once again while checking out. I also feel that purchasing insurance should be our choice not yours.

Much of the facility is brand new and the parts that aren't' are cared for like they are. The person who helped me initially rent my unit was very attentive, professional and knowledgeable. I met a manager the next day and she was also very helpful and gracious You will not be disappointed in either the people or facilities. 5 stars given; 5 stars earned.

I was told wrong or misleading information when calling to hold a unit. I was quoted that the monthly rent for a 5x5 would be around $28.00 and that it would be in a a/c controlled area. When I went to put my stuff in storage and secure my unit I found out I have to purchase insurance (even though it's just clothes) which caused my monthly fee to go up to $40.00 and it was not in an a/c controlled area but rather cooled by swamp which didn't seem all that cool. I went ahead and purchased the storage still because if I wanted one in the a/c controlled area my monthly rent would go even higher which I think is ridiculous as is for the smallest unit. I would have appreciated all this information when I called to inquire rather than being surprised with higher costs when securing.

This is the best cubesmart! We were at a different storage unit paying a higher price for a smaller unit! The manager April stayed later for us because we were running late and made sure to get us all set up in a timely manner!

April was up front about the prices and very professional. The place has a wide drive aisles. Just don't like how some of the storages have two doors which get in the way. But it's still very wide. Overall great place. They are adding more storage. Which won't be finish until the fall.

Not familiar with Arizona, and was in need of a storage unit. After going through dozens, by calling, viewing online, or visiting in person I finally found Cube Smart. Initially had looked at one of their other locations, but was referred to the Dysart facility by the general manager. Have been very impressed so far by the highest level of customer service that I have ever had from a storage rental company. Anthony, the General Manager went above and beyond all expectations to ensure that all of our needs were met. To have such excellent customer service accompanied by a well-secured unit at a great price point is definitely a first for me. Highly recommend CubeSmart for all of your storage needs, even if you are not in the immediate area. Worth the drive. Thank you so much Anthony and Staff!
