Staff here is beyond rude! We arrived as we had made an online reservation upon arrival we realize that the unit that we had previously reserved would not accommodate our needs we went to the front door. No one answered. There was no sign on the door stating when they would be back we drove around and then we noticed someone up by the office, which turned out to the employee gotten his car and started to leave and we approached him and husband asked him if he worked there and he said yes I do but I’m going on break. we then asked if he had any other units because the one that we had reserved was not the right size and he basically said they have nothing and that he was on break and he drove off. We ultimately called through the customer service line for over 15 minutes and could not get through so I took action and called the other location right down the street, super nice guy by the name of Jeri. He was very helpful. About 30 minutes later. The employee came back, locked himself in the office and we were standing outside. Had to bang on the front door to ask him to let us in and when we did, he once again reminded us that he was not logged into his computer and he was still on break. We ended up switching to a bigger unit and then the employee they had previously told us that they had no vacancies said he had many shoes come because they had seven people vacate their units within the last week, but he did advise to us that he had not been out to clean out any of those units, he just previously told my husband prior to him going to get a big Mac that they had no vacancies and they had several? It’s too bad that the staff is so horrible at this location and they seem to advertise that they have great customer service. The only person who provided us great customer service was Jerry at another location.

Started my rental and it was owned by another company. When they sold to CubeSmart, things went down hill drastically and prices increased to stupid rates. I will never suggest CubeSmart to anyone! Additionally, when I recently moved out they continued to send me a bill and want another months rent. Moved from a 5x10 to a 10x10 for the same amount. Originally was paying $69 a month and when I moved out was pay $131! And that increase is just in the last 2 years.. My family had four or five additional storage units there and they moved out as well because of the cost! They are also paying half of the price now for bigger units.

This storage facility is clean, safe and cool which was important to me when considering where to rent a unit. I originally came here when it was Storage West. When it switched over to CubeSmart a year or two ago, I thought the price increases were too high and frequent for my 5x10 unit (which was teeny tiny) I couldn't wait to get out and not have a $200 bill every month. Otherwise, this faciilty served it's purpose.

I needed a place to store my RV for 1 week. ONE WEEK!!! Do you think that should be so hard!? Well, it is. In addition, i needed someplace that i could access that day, thanks to HOA restrictions. This place was no different, however, the kid that answered the phone was willing to at least check with his supervisor and see if something could be done (nothing). AND I could access it that day. I had to pull my car down, so I would have a way home after I parked it, but because I was unsure about where to park while I registered, I ended up parking in the wrong spot (in front of a gate) so I called in to the office thinking I could get someone to come out and open the gate so I could get in and out of the way, because I could not turn around or back up without unhooking the car. The manager was quite rude and refused to do so. I will use the. For this week, but will not be using them again in the future.

Nice enough units -- clean, well lit, secure. However we got a 35% increase after one year and decided it was time to move our stuff. Found something for about 1/3 of the original price. AND the manager told us we had until the end of the day on the 2nd of the month to get things out, and we would not have to pay for that month. So we did that, and the auto charge happened. The manager at the unit said he couldn't do anything about it.

We are extremely disappointed with your service. Our debit card expired and there was NO way to update it online. You required us to come in during work hours that we were not able to come in for. Many voicemails were left for us but your automated system was impossible to get through to an actual human being. The only way I got ahold of someone is when your manager Zach called threatening to auction our item. When I immediately called back I apologized and told him our situation and asked if he could waive the $110 fee and he informed me that there was nothing to be done and that the company was very strict about that. You really set your clients up for failure. As a result, after paying for our boat slip dues, I also cleaned out my other cube used and will never bring any business your way again. Do better

The manager, Rob, at my particular store was amazing. (Surprise Arizona on bell and 303). Remembered mine and my husband names, made sure everything was taken care of. When I got a new card and forgot to change my auto-payment, he gave me a call and asked if everything was okay and if he could do anything. Someone comes and does checks like every day to make sure everything is in good shape. Very nice place!

More fees than any place in the world administrative fee to set up rental and an administrative fee every month to process my payment have to buy their insurance even though my car has my own full coverage insurance then have to buy their lock for unit which will not work on anything else in the world Oh and then find the lock is master keyed so they can drop in and look at my car anytime they please surprised they didn't want me to leave the keys so they could take it for a spin anytime they wanted. Would I go Back? Not unless I wanted to refuse my lock. Lol

Great selection of sizes. Love the industrial automatic ceiling light in the 10 X 25 unit. Austin, the local manager, is extremely professional and attentive. He was a pleasure to deal with. He took great care of us. Cube Smart management should consider itself fortunate to have such a wonderful employee and representative. Austin maintained his friendly and helpful nature in spite of a sweltering office. The AC was not functioning for over a week, and during record high temps in Arizona this summer. I should think that management should have responded quickly to remedy those extreme conditions for their stellar employee and patrons visiting the office. No stop gap measures were taken either, in the interim to endure the heat. Five plus stars for Austin...corporate management, not so much.

I ordered a unit over the phone and they gave me the wrong unit. On my first day I went to the office to tell them of their mistake and they did not care. They made me pay for another unit and would not refund me for the other unit. They even made me pay for a lock I never used. Very poor customer service and the manager was very short with me. Not my mistake, but apparently my problem.

Incase some of the stuff we had didn't fit in our moving truck I was going to put it in storage.. luckily for us it all fit in the truck. So I called the facility to cancel my unit. Everyone I have worked with at CubeSmart has been extremely professional and HELPFUL. Rob, the manager, has been a supportive professional for over 4 years when I started renting at CubeSmart, formerly called StorageWest on Bell Rd. I have downsized twice and had the utmost support.(I live out of state part time and have not been there to coordinate my movers and truckers.) Rob has helped them find my unit and assisted with difficult locks and lost keys - all issues on the movers part, not CubeSmart. None the less, he makes things work for the customers and is always willing to offer tips and help find units near each other. I wouldn't rent anywhere else on the west side of Phoenix.

Needed to store my things from my mothers house. Lady on the Phone was really helpful and thorough with me. Answering all my questions and made sure I fully understood everything. Employees here are the best and have the best customer service. I never had to worry about my property here at this storage west and highly recommend using this place if you are wanting something affordable and great quality!

Great place, Tom did a great job introducing me to the facility, and when we decided the unit we paid for was too small for our needs he quickly switched us to a bigger unit and delivered all the paperwork as we moved into the new unit! Fantastic customer service and extremely well maintained.

Decided not to store our RV here cos no dump station, but place is super new and clean and the manager was super friendly and helpful.
