Terrible place. Always raising rates. Gate never got fixed, concrete driveway has potholes and never got fixed. I only gave one star because I can’t give negative stars. Still waiting on them to return phone calls from me. New manager all the time. Over priced. I found a place for $109 a month and they charge $450 for 10x20. A lot of contractors were there and all have moved out because the 6 rate increases over the year.

3 stars only because The attendant was so nice and helpful But otherwise I’m very disappointed with the marketing - I feel like I was baited and switched -they had me under the impression I was getting climate controlled unit and then last minute I had no choice but to keep my reservation for a 120degree+ unit. I hope my stuff will be okay and the insurance is legit to cover any damage Horrible 1st experience Be careful and watch out for the bait n switch (seems to be industry standard these days)

The new property manager diligently enforces compliance with rules and regulations, prevents loitering, and maintains high standards at the location. Climate-controlled self-storage facility with easy access to the 60 and 10 freeways. Limited accessibility hours (daylight, basically). Variety of sizes of storage bays available. Automatic payment monthly via credit card available. Clean facility. Have had a storage bay here for three years. In that time the cost of the storage unit has gone up by $80 a month from the initial rate. On some visits here it seemed as though people were either living in their storage units or at least using them as a place to hang out with AC during the day. Haven't seen that on recent trips so hopefully they've eliminated that. Clean facility. Never seen evidence of dead bugs or mice/rats in my unit and hope not to when I finally clean it out!

Extremely expensive! My sister was locked in the facility for an hour at least before someone answered to grant exit access. Hours are limited. I will never rent a storage unit from them again. And if you are smart, you won’t either

I rented a storage unit here and I only did it for the free moving truck, which was up to 4 hours. However, when I went to go move I found out that the truck had NEVER worked and it just was sitting there. This is fault's advertising. The place has terrible customer service and a janky location. And I never received my 40% off my unit either because I had to upgrade to a bigger unit. Terrible experience with this company.

I was with storage west before cubesmart bought them out, i was paying one hundred and twenty two dollars a month. I was with storage west for over a year, then cubesmart bought them and they raised my storage fee to one hundred sixty seven dollars, and another year later they raised it again to two hundred sixty nine dollars a month. I called and asked if they could lower it at least back to one hundred and sixty nine dollars, because i was retired and having a hard time affording that kind of money, they said no. I guess what left a sour taste in my mouth was, when they bought storage west they immediately raised my fee, because i was with storage west, they told me that if i was with cubesmart they wouldnt have raised it...And i called one day to ask them if they had any electric outlets outside the units, because my things were in there over 3 years, they said they did, but to use the electric to hook up my blower to blow out all the dust it would be an extra charge. I moved my things out of there, and i would never recomend cubesmart to anyone.

Do not rent from these judgmental people. I was treated as if my wife and I were homeless and living there, because it was so hot outside that we needed to relax for 10-15 minutes inside the unit. The curly haired kid came and told us we where loitering and then went and got his boss who was from overseas , and he told us we could be there for up to 2 hours no problems. We had not been there for 2 hours and he claimed we had. Very upsetting experience highly do not recommend dealing with this company!!! I expect to be respected and treated like everyone else it was 112 degrees outside I am not from the area. We are very upset and let down and did not know that people this un caring and disrespectful existed. They assumed and did so many things wrong, I had to let others know have a good day! There are many other storages who will treat you like a human being. We were highly effected by the whole experience.

Update: don't bother to email. They never reply. Been over 5 days still no response. I definitely recommend Right Space Storage. Been with them for 2 years now and no issues like this. Never rent thru any cubesmart. They don't offer prorate. I was charge $175 for 4 days in one of there units. No prorated. They were only willing to move me into a smaller unit for $100 for 5 by 10 unit. Never experience this in any storage throughout the 4 states within the 4 corners. It's insane. Go elsewhere if your in a bind. The first month free is also pointless because you'll still be charge for the next month anywhere if you move out. Never ever will rent with Cubesmart. Will never recommend to any of my family friends and customers.

I rented and completed move in on line stated I wanted it same day loaded my truck and received a phone call asking me to bring paperwork on the car I was storing explained it wasn’t a car they looked again and it was a storage room I rented at the time I thought it was funny and joked about it when we arrived my truck and 2 employees they had a lock on that # so my guy called and was told there was no reservation for that # or name he called me I called them and because they are short of employees he left and went to another store lock still on mine the main # said a district manager would call me within a half hour I am still waiting on that call another store girl called me and told me somebody would go there in 10 minutes to take the lock off SORRY now it is 3 hours that I have paid my employees for nothing by the time they called me back I had sent my guys back and will try again another day They need to remove locks immediately when rented and care more about their customers I use a lot of storage companies nature of my business and couldn’t be more disappointed with the service I received

We had always paid our bill. Then we go to get into it storage 1 time and the Mgr told us we couldn't because Tempe PD was investigating a theft and our unit was involved. Trying to find out what was going on, we called the Detective and left close to 1/2 dozen messages with no call back. 2 months go by with no access to our property and we continued to pay the bill. At the end of Oct we learned Cube Smart management made a mistake and it wasn't our unit thNegativestartsat was involved. Upon finding out this info, we go into the office to find the Mgr had been replaced by someone new. The first thing new management did was ask for money. Words were exchanged and mgmt says to Co workers in front of others, "I'll tell you later what's going on" . We were then told we were going to be evicted and still..... have no reason why! Negative stars. Like to hear from the owner but nobody has contacted us or even tried.

Update: A GM emailed me back basically just telling me where in the contract it states they can raise rates. Great follow up ???? Ridiculous rate increases! Before cubesmart took over Storage West had been the best company I ever used. Now I have had nothing but issues since Cube Mart took over, first they kept messing up my bill and I couldn’t make a payment online now after having the same price for years because that’s the initial contract I signed they almost doubled my monthly rate!! I live out of state so I can’t just go get my stuff and move storage immediately but I will be doing so ASAP!

This facility is not kept up as far as cleanliness. The facility has not been managed and manned. This facility is Over-priced. I realize the service must be paid for at an agreed-upon time, but in these times when that is not always possible the late fee is extreme and harmful. I was able to find a nicer environment for $50 less in the same area.

Store your stuff here- Erik is amazing!! I needed 2 storage units ASAP and he was able to provide both on demand. Each unit was air conditioned and clean upon arrival at a great price! The facilities also offer locks and various moving supplies in case you need any extra. Erik took great care in helping aid me with my moving process. This location also offers a few free boxes and a free moving truck (which I believe needs to be used within 30 days of your agreement). I’m not kidding, I’m telling everyone I know about this location specifically for their moving needs. I’ve never had such a smooth, stress free storage experience until I came here. If I need to move again in the near future I will be coming back to this location for all of my needs.

You made me feel better from the first hello, to the much needed hug, and cold bottles of water. I carry my bad day stick with me everywhere. This place is top notch in customer service. I was with Storage West on Baseline for a couple of years and they have always been very helpful. They worked with me on the price and they cut open a lock for me when I lost my keys. Very easy access, excellent prices, and Christy is super nice!

Stored my trailer here for a few months. They were very friendly and accommodating. I have had bad experiences with storage locations but this was the exact opposite. If I have storage needs I will definite come back.

Just wanted to note how friendly and professional the office management staff was at this storage facility. Erik and Christina were so accommodating and extremely kind, and helpful. They made my wife and I feel right at home even though we just moved to the region. We were provided with great service and the utmost respect. As a military veteran they showed a very high respect to that as well. I would highly recommend this storage and their service to anyone and everyone!
