We ordered and paid for a unit using the online registration. I paid, downloaded my lease, loaded a truck and trailer only to get to the storage place and be closed. While it was a Sunday and the office was closed, the entire place looked like a ghost town. Zero lights were on and it was during access hours. Then when we tried to enter, I looked on my lease only to realize that I wasn't given an access code. I tried setting up an account through the app and they want an account/reservation number which wasn't given to me as I did a rent now option not a reservation. It's been almost 24 hours and I still have yet to receive a callback from the manager nor have I received ANY emails confirming my rental. At least offer an emergency hotline number as an option for those doing online registration. Now I'm not only out the money here, I have to take my business elsewhere and drop even MORE money just to ensure I have a storage unit while I make an extended trip to the east coast.

I was greeted at the door by Joey of Cube Smart, I must use canes to walk and he already had the door opened for me upon my arrival. I visited the CubeSmart on Oracle today to see if the unit size I was interested was big enough. Well, when I talked to the profiler upon my initial inquiry, the price he quoted me that it would cost me out of pocket move in amount for a 5'x5' unit was $42.00 and change and I asked him specifically, if that was the total amount with no hidden fees and he reassured me that would be the final cost, but when I got to the store, it was a whole other matter. There was $18 for a special lock, plus insurance of $12 that was also mandatory and then there was tax on top of that. It was over $70 before I got out of there. I think that it is nothing short of price gouging making it mandatory to purchase insurance every month and there isn't another storage facility in town that does that. You certainly can't break into the unit and then with the fencing and cameras everywhere, I don't think anyone is going to loose anything there. Everything should be revealed to the customer about what it's going to cost them before hand, I feel?

This is an update on my previous review... My previous review was from last year...This year the staff was still amazing and friendly and informative. Joey the manager at 3899 Oracle was so helpful and gave me all the information I needed. He took the hassle out of needing storage. My family and I will definitely use them again. Moving my daughter in and out of her dorm has been a pleasant experience. They are a little further away from campus but worth it. Manager completed paperwork in office quickly, not very thoroughly though. I got a very small unit, it was clean. I later changed my mind and tried to return but being on the bus and injured I could not make it before 6pm closing and manager would not wait for me an additional 10 minutes. I was disappointed at this. I am supposed to get a full refund but it still has not shown up on my bank account over a week later so not sure what's going on.

Bad experience with the person helping us. He talked over me the whole time and was very RUDE. I had made a reservation for the smallest storage shed available which was the 3.0 x 4.0. He saw that and tried to tell me I needed the next size up. Which I DID NOT!! Then when I reserved it online I was given a 25% discount. My husband had a shed with them before. The guy wanted to put it under his name thus screwing me out of my discount. The whole process took an hour. Every other time we were there getting a new shed we were done within 5 minutes. This all happened on 2/1/2021 at 9:30 in the morning. He also wasn’t wearing a mask and was literally cursing at the computer. I’ve had better experiences with this cubesmart. UPDATE 2/9/2021 I spoke with the district manager today, John. He was a very nice guy!! We spoke about what happened and he listened to what I had to say. He apologized and he fixed the situation. I am now giving them 5 stars because John fixed the problem!!

Very professional, prices were good, storage was clean and there are MANY storage units in the area. My only complaint was that I called to confirmed we could leave our Uhaul trailer there overnight in order to start unpacking first thing in the AM when it was still cool. When I called to reconfirm, I was told this wasn't possible. This resulted in us having to unpack in 110 degree heat during the middle of the day. What's even more irritating is that I did see one Uhaul truck being left overnight.

?? Having to find a place to store my belongings with almost no notice was so stressful????. I was so worried that moving my stuff ?????????? was going to be next to impossible. Thankfully, I came across an online ?? offer that I would be insane to pass up. So, I went to the CubeSmart near my side of town. The facility was clean?? and with the non-traditional storage unit sizes, I was able to find a heck of a deal on a 3x8 unit which is a perfect size for me. My unit needs 2 locks ????since it used to be 2 separate units until the dividing wall was removed. Since I only brought 1 lock, they were willing to work with me and keep my storage unit secured with one of their locks ?? until I was able to buy another. I got a great deal on my storage unit size and the insurance rate was reasonable. I didn't get a climate control ?????????? unit but since it's in a hallway, it should be a bit cooler. This also reassured me that bugs ?????? won't be able to break into my unit because the hallway is an extra security measure.?? Staff was friendly and knowledgable and answered all my questions. I also got to meet some fellow renters ?? and they were so incredibly nice and had really great things to say about the facility. Overall, good job CubeSmart!!!? You guys got it together. I would definitely recommend this place to loved ones. ???

AK helped me when I first rented my small unit. She was absolutely fantastic and her customer service was superb. I just went today and had an issue because I couldn’t find my keys for my lock that I had purchased there, and Bonnie went above and beyond to assist me, cutting off my lock so that I could return a newly purchased lock to the unit. I also have two small storage units at public storage in Ohio, and there it’s no comparison between the two companies. Cubesmart has a system that is highly efficient and their customer service is superb. I won’t store my belongings at any other company but this one from now on. I’m a HUGE fan.

The young Lady that greeted me at the Oracle St. Office was very pleasant and efficient. Her name is Laura. She set me up with my unit and explained how everything works. Her friendly , professional manner made the entire process a snap. I want to thank her again and recommend the whole shop to follow her example.

The online reservation made everything so simple. Got there with my 17' Uhaul box truck and went inside, signed my contract for the unit I reserved, and BAM! I was ready to unload.. The unit was clean, convenient, and with drive up access...and with a free lock!! Love this place!

Made a reservation online but when I arrived and looked at the space noticed it was to small I asked the gentleman helping me ( not David but the other gentleman I'm sorry I forgot your name) if there was a size larger and he took his time it showed me three different units one of which I rented. He was very thorough and explained everything to me. The rental process was quick and easy.

Your agents were absolutely terrific! Took care of my every concern and need. The best experience I’ve ever had when renting a storage unit. And at 71 years of age I have had rented storage units many, many times! I can’t thank Dave or David enough for their excellent, courteous service!

When I phoned CubeSmart and made the reservation, I followed that up with a visit to the location where I needed a storage unit. The manager [David] had already brought up the information on the computer, went over all of the details...answered any questions which I had...and after making my payment I was ready to go. David's a great young man, and I look forward to my continued relationship with CubeSmart!

My son was in a pinch. We were having to move him out of an apartment and his new apartment wasn't due to be available for a week. We talked to John Renfro at Cube Smart on Oracle Rd and he got us into an affordable unit very quickly that saved the day! Renting a space was easy. John, the General Manager, explained everything I needed to know, answered all my questions and showed me the space I would be renting. The paperwork took minutes. This CubeSmart is an older facility but it is clean, well-run, and affordable.

We showed up unannounced and this guy even though the universe (the office electronics) seemed to be really messing with him that day, he was able to get.us in And out far quicker than expected. I do have some questions which i didnt think of until later but theyre policy related not customer relations... U feel like answering my questions press give us a shout.

Please fix your phone system. I have had so much trouble trying to get a hold of someone because your phone system doesn't work. I would select an option and then it would just be dead air. This happened so many times! It makes us not want to use you for our storage needs in the future.

First off, Carisa was awesome! She put a pleasant face and great conversation to a business I may not have otherwise personalized. The units we needed were available when we wanted them and the staff helped to get the right ones at the right time. We've been customers for quite a while and will continue to be. There are other storage companies closer to our house, but the Oracle Rd location is worth the drive. Its clean and feels secure. For my particular needs I am very very happy with our continued decision to remain customers. Thanks!

My experience with CubeSmart was a wonderful one! Carisa Chavarria helped me. She was one of the nicest most caring and most through people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. I really appreciated how carefully and thoroughly she explained things to me. She make sure I understood everything clearly and had all the information I could possibly need. Furthermore she was such a delight. CubeSmart is lucky to have her and anyone would be lucky to get assistance from her.
