DO NOT RENT A UNIT AT THIS LOCATION! We stored all of our belongings for two years on the 3rd floor of this building and returned to find a tremendous amount of water damage and mold covering almost everything. We have had to throw away clothing, books, documents, art, family heirlooms, and furnishings. From the other negative reviews here, it looks like the staff was aware of the problem and did not notify tenants. Unconscionable! Our rental agreement specifically addresses water damage in it's own separate section, waiving the company of any liability resulting from mold or mildew unless you notify them immediately of evidence of growth. I find it hard to believe that a 'storage' facility would require constant oversight by the client in order to be covered for loss.

I highly recommend CubeSmart on 3265 E. Speedway in Tucson! Abel and Denaye are about the sweetest people I have met in a long, long time. They were always a highlight of my Dad's week when he'd stop in to tinker with his memories he has religiously stored at this facility for at least 2 decades. I think he even knew Denaye for 15+ years! When he recently passed away they were so thoughtful and kind when helping my brother and me fumble through the first few weeks of confusion we had trying to tie up his loose ends and helping us to not loose his precious treasures and his 73 years of memories he had stored away for safekeeping. Even though CubeSmart is so darn 21st Century with its easy-to-use online rental services conveniences, the old world human touch that you have from Denaye and Abel is priceless.

This is a slightly longer review than normal. I will give 1 year worth of review... (Positives) The indoor, controlled climate storage is great. The APP they have is awesome, the digital access to the building and the second digital access is great as well, so security wise, not bad at all. Their staff is great, friendly and discuss everything in detail about getting your storage and access to it.... (Negative - 1 star for the following) However.... when my bank had to shut down my account due to someone stealing money from me, my card declined for the cubesmart auto pay system as well as everything else. And before I even received my replacement card from the bank, CubeSmart double locked my storage unit!! Apparently, when your monthly bill is due, if you don't have it paid 5 days after it is due, they add locks right away. Now I understand they need to collect their rent, but adding locks after 5 days?? That feels like they are more interested in the auction off than the client. I've used storage all over the country and even shady storage companies and I've NEVER seen or heard of that before. I've heard it after 30 day or 20 days, but never right away like that. (Final report) I do recommend Cubesmart to people, and my review followers, just make sure you can have your bill paid on time, You will have no access on the 6th day after that.

My unit suffered water damage because of a roof leak. I am on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building. The water leak was not reported to me, and the manager said the corporate office instructed staff to NOT reach out to customers about the leak and NOT to inspect or photograph units. The stairwell walls are soaked even after 3 weeks of no rain, and there is still dripping from the roof. Water had been sitting in my unit for 3 weeks. Mold and mildew started to grow on some items. I had to throw out tons of documents that were soaked together, and childhood letters were damaged. Vinyl records that I owned, some where only 300 had been pressed, were soaked through and damaged. If you are storing your items, check your unit ASAP, as even units that did not have water leak into them directly are affected by the increased dampness and humidity. Wear an N95 mask as the whole building smells of mold and mildew and you could be breathing that in. I am looking into legal recourse options. Centrally located and GREAT manager Abel. Like unbelievably great. Honest, pleasant, helpful...BUT..I rented a space, paid for a year in advance so the rate could change, and there was a flood in my unit 2 days later. Inside my unit. Still waiting for some kind of concession. Nothing was ruined but the stuff was moved to another locker (thank you Abel) but not stacked the way it was. Anyway, TG I went to add one more thing before I left town. I've edited this to 4 stars because: Local manager called me. Said the roof patched for Dec and they are getting a new roof for whole place in Jan. They nade things right financially with a small gesture (I didn't have damage beyond my time and worry), she was nice and it was fast. She also said she would pass on how helpful Able was. I'll follow back up in January

Able the manager is great! This review is not about him, I would give him a 5 Star! However. My 1 Star review is in the building and upper management. Be prepared to have rate increases every 6 months at 20% on your unit. The building also has a leaky roof that has not been replaced or repaired and the patch work doesn’t hold, I’ve had water damage to my property. After renting for several years it is time to go.

I went to the location on speedway to talk to somebody about renting a small storage unit. I was immediately greeted and offered help. She was super friendly and answered all my questions, the whole process from start to finish only took about 15 minutes. I'm sure it would have been a little quicker if I didn't have so many questions! Haha! Anyways, everything appeared to be clean, safe and secure. They have rolling carts to help with all the boxes and it actually ended up costing less than I thought it would. I recommend! ??

As a recent college graduate who found himself in a need for a temporary storage space, this was the perfect place for me! A big perk that's exclusive to this location is the fact that the U of A campus is only a five minute drive. Moreover, there were great promotions that were going on when I was signing up for my rental unit, e.g., one month free or 50% off the monthly rental fee. Most importantly though, I want to take a moment to recognize and praise Abel, the general manager, who took amazing care of me. He exhibited excellent customer service and actively listened to every single need I had. I highly recommend this particular location to everyone; from college students to anyone who is entering a transitory period in their life. Not just because they have the best deals (which they do) but also because there are amazing humans, like Abel. ?????

It was easy to get in and out of the facility at any time we needed to. Storage facility was always clean, lit, and cool enough in the AZ heat. We were always able to get a cart to move our items up and down the elevator and corridors. Setting up our account, making monthly payments, and closing out our account was very efficient! Overall, couldn't ask for a better storage facility unless you wanted to throw in free movers to push the cart and lift the boxes (LOL)

There is not a lot of parking for a three story storage business. Also the space you have to park a large truck is limited, it is not easy to back into the parking spot to load/unload and there is a sign saying limit 30 min to load/unload. How can you unload a full truck in 30 min? You might need to hire extra help so you don't exceed the time limit.

SUPERIOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! I was dealing with a very emotional situation, with my son deployed to Kuwait, and his household goods being stored in a friend’s apartment. His friend unexpectedly had to relocate, so my son had to orchestrate moving his things into storage... Being overseas with no way to handle on his own, I was frantic to help him. I live in Pennsylvania so my only option was to handle everything by credit card, phone, email, scan, fax, etc.... I reached out to CubeSmart and Cindy answered the phone. I explained our situation & she immediately put me at ease. She was so wonderful, courteous, professional, and caring to me in a very stressful situation. She told me exactly what she needed from me, what I needed to do, and made me feel that I had nothing to worry about… CubeSmart (Cindy & the team at Tucson’s Speedway Blvd location!) really changed my mind after having dealt with storage facilities in the past... being a mother with a son in the military who is overseas, I needed the peace of mind that Cindy provided to me. Staff=professional and friendly & Facility=secure and immaculate!! The quality of the staff is what sold me and is keeping me at this location and I wish all the folks I work with were like Cindy and Denaye. They know what they are doing and are professional and still able to be friendly and helpful, which is a rare blend. I'm in an out of Cindy and Denaye's facility twice or three times a week and if they aren't taking calls they're holding the door open for me, raking outside or sweeping inside. I use this facility as a warehouse for my medical equipment business and am extremely happy with my choice and intend to stay here for a long time.

I called and informed that I was running a bit late, guy in the front desk said it was okay as long as I got there befor close time. 6-8 mins before close I was in the building, guy refused to help me. He said because they were going to close soon. Made no sense.... they were still opened!!! I had called him ahead of time also!!! Waste of my time!!!

I have had nothing but excellent service at the CubeSmart at 3265 East Speedway location. Cindy and Denaye have gone out of their way to help me secure side by side lockers when I needed more storage room. The facility is clean, and well lit and the staff friendly and very helpful. I would rate it a 5 star facility and would rate the staff 5 star+

I have always had great experiences with CubeSmart at 3265 East Speedway Blvd in Tucson, Arizona. Nadine and Autumn, the customer service personnel at my facility, are always very helpful, and go out of their way to accommodate me. When the move-in truck for the Speedway facility was unavailable when I needed it, they bent over backwards to get me the use of a truck from another facility in the area. At one point, I had to consolidate the contents of two units into one. They quickly adjusted some existing reservations to find a larger unit nearby my existing units, which made my consolidation easy. They have been quite helpful when it came to paperwork and dealing with all the business details. Thank you Ladies for all the help! The facility has always been clean, with everything (restroom, elevator, security system, etc.) working well. I always feel my possessions are safe at the facility. DavidJohn Mehren
