Mel was knowledgeable and professional. She addressed all the questions and made me fell comfortable. The unit was clean and had cameras. I was given the lock and access code. I give this encounter a 5 out of 1-5 with 5 being the highest rating. Nut….after it rained the roof leaked and water got on my belongings.

Melinda and the other lady that just took over in cabot Ar are amazing. They provided so much info that the previous employees did not. They were super nice and you can tell they are committed to making this location the best it can be. 100% changed the way I felt about the company. I definitely feel more comfortable about using this company after they have took over. I would actually recommend this location here in cabot now whereas before I was considering leaving. I would like to think the Company for noticing their downfalls and making appropriate changes.

They make you pay for insurance on the unit even when you tell them you don't want it. Insurance should be optional. If we want we will get it! If we say no leave it at that.

Susan the Manager at the Cabot Cubesmart on Elm is so awesome. She is efficient always professional and friendly. Anytime I have a question or a problem she gets on it and solves it right then. I love the fact that I don't have to wait for a day or so. She solves it within a minutes. It is a very clean facility and is gated however you will get lock in if you don't get out the gate by 9:59 PM..

When CubeSmart bought out the storage facility my bill went from $70 to $80 in the first month. In the 2nd month it went from $80 to $160. That's more than double the rate it 2 months! I wouldn't recommend this company. They obviously do not care one bit for their customers!

Same as the other recent posters. Got the letter from CubeSmart where we were informed that our rates were doubling. I feel sorry for the on-site manager that will have to deal with the anger that should be directed at the new owners. Fortunately, it didn't take me long to clear out and clean my unit and cancel. I will also be notifying my bank to refuse charges from CubeSmart come the 1st of the month as I wouldn't put it past them to still attempt to auto charge for next month's rent.

CubeSmart bought out our local unit. Before the buyout, our rent for a NON-climate controlled, 10x10 unit was $60. Within a month, this increased to $72 as we were required to add $12 a month for their insurance, despite having coverage of our own. Then within two months of that, ourselves and many other renters in this facility received notification that our new rent would be more than doubling to $165!! Competition or services provided can't be attributed since more than a dozen facilities within 30 mins are priced below $100, many below $80, all with comparable or better services.

I rented a 10x15 unit for $70/month. After a couple of months, CubeSmart bought them out & they tacked on a MANDATORY insurance fee for $12/month. I called and showed them my homeowners insurance policy that covers items stored in a self-storage unit. She agreed to issue a $12 credit towards the next month's rent. When I paid online, the credit was not applied. I went back and showed the lady me rental invoice the still had another $12 due, PLUS now a convivence fee to pay online. I protested again. Today I got a rate increase in the mail. My $70 unit's rent up from $70 to $163, an increase of 132.86%. Steer clear of CubeSmart. 10/25/2024 - I moved out and into a much newer facility that charges $82/month. Once again, be warned that CubeSmart are crooks.

The place was fine when it was “Cabot mini storage” but after cubesmart took over, now it’s horrible!! They raised the prices and after quoting me a cheaper price for a smaller unit, I moved into that one. Then they proceeded to tell me they never told me the price they quoted me. They tried charging me a higher price than the original storage unit I had, and this one was smaller!! I then told them I would be leaving before the end of the month because I paid for the whole month, and they decided to put a lock on my storage unit so I didn’t have access to my belongings. I had to call their hotline and we went over everything and they said they had no reason to put a lock on my unit because I was all payed up. I called the storage unit and had them take it off. Still not sure why they put it on. Don’t recommend this place at all!!

Not secure!! I had everything in my unit stolen. Over $7K worth. Management just said "sorry, call the cops". There's plenty of new modern units available that actually have security. Keep looking.

One of the cheapest places in town and for outdoor storage it's a very reasonable price compared to others. Unfortunately the gate is absolutely terrible. The manager tells you over and over and over to wait until the gate is completely open to enter or exit. Which is fine for me, but the first time I ever went there a lady didn't wait and the gate was stuck wide open because she didn't wait. This has to be fixed. With every unit being sold out there is plenty of money to get a new gate mechanism. Would be 4 or 5 stars if it had a new properly operating gate.

Horrible. Roach infested. Between moving had my home packed here 2 weeks. I have spent over $200 in roach poison, plus the added stress of moving boxes into a brand new house with bugs in it. Owners tried to say I brought them until I mentioned I had a policy with a company on my home that could provide a clearance letter that none had ever been found at my house. Refused to refund any of unit prices even though I paid for more weeks than was there. When I asked for owners contact info they ignored emails. Go any place else!!
