Expect to spend an hour\nand a half on the loop. Seeing the countryside by railway is also an option.\nTake a ride on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.conwayscenic.com\/\">Conway\nScenic Railroad<\/a>\nand get an authentic feel for an old-fashioned railroading experience. It\u2019s a\ncollection of 22 islands in Lake Superior, just off the Ashland and Bayfield\ncounties in northern Wisconsin. There are ten <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/apis\/learn\/historyculture\/lighthouses.htm\">lighthouses<\/a> on the islands, each with its own story. There\nare also plenty of long ago <a href=\"https:\/\/storymaps.arcgis.com\/stories\/3abe00f05a224bf2a96d3366da7ea374\">shipwrecks<\/a>!&nbsp; Rent a\ncanoe or take a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apostleisland.com\/\">guided boat tour<\/a> along the islands and be sure to stop at one of\nthe islands\u2019 beautiful beaches.
