My building was not safe to be inside for long periods of time in the summer due to it not being climate controlled. Merely being there for a short time can be hazardous. Elevator sometimes malfunctions. I liked that it was accessible early in the morning and late at night. Easy access next to Hwy. 60.

BEST EXPERIENCE!! I've been here since 2016, and I have NEVER had any issues! Roland and his crew always gave the best customer service. I've never seen it dirty with trash or people's junk. Hallways were always bright white, clean, and clear. Never experienced any insect issues either, which was amazing. I was sadden to have to leave since I have moved, but I highly recommend this location with their customer service and good pricing! Thanks for this pleasant, smooth experience, Roland and crew!

All of my things were stolen from my unit. Someone must have picked the lock. There are no cameras in the hallways so there was no footage. The insurance did nothing for me. People working there said this has happened repeatedly to other units. Not a secure place to store anything valuable.

I normally do not bother doing any negative reviews. But I will just say this. Customer service, how we respect and treat each other, is a first. To the owner of this facility. I experience a situation with one of your employees over the phone. I'm a storage bidder on line. I had won a bid and was due to pick up. I unfinished had a serious accident the night before where my right hand was broken. I had three storage the nexts day in the same area I won and was to pick up. But because of my hand. I had to reach out to each one to inform them and offer to pay any additional fees, but I couldn't if I wanted to pick up, but would be in the following day with helpers.All the others where understandable and very professional and respectful. After calling and leaving over three messages and the day was almost over before your facility closed and I hadn't received a call back. I reached out one last time. I was able to speak to a young man whom I will not put his name, lets just say he was rude, and disrespectful. After explaining what happened i understood what he was saying. The reason why I tried offer to even go on line or paying for extra day. Just until the following day. I told no and thats that. He then reported me to the Storage treasure as a no call no show. I spoke with them and they told me what happened and was said. I read some of your reviews. I hope you don't remove this one. But there nothing negative about you facility i have to say, but these young employees have to not take calls and customers personal. I'm XMilitary USNAVY CV- 61 and no matter if I don't agree or care for someone behavior. I will at least give you the respect. I will follow up with you as a customer and you a owner, due to the seriousness to me of this matter. Hopefully we can respectfully resolve this issue. And I can follow up on these review. Whats more important? Customer service or employees? I say both with respect.

If I could give negative stars, I would. Facility itself is decent, the price is good, but the customer service is horrible. I have never felt so judged and profiled in my entire life in any establishment. Every single time my significant other went with me to our unit, management made sure to pass by several times, yet when I was alone, I never saw them even once. It made me uncomfortable when the staff would stop in front of my unit and stare in to it, appearing to visually take inventory of its contents. And without a doubt, the worst part of my experience was that the staff was rude, unhelpful, petty, inconsistent, snooty, and snarky, especially Roland. I could elaborate but it would take too long. Be aware that the reasonable price is not worth the customer service nightmare

I had this storage for almost 2 years, never had an issue, automatic billing so I did not have to worry about making payments every month. TERRIBLE security management. no security cameras inside the storage unit hallways and burglary is very COMMON. they enjoy removing any negative reviews instead of improving the flaws this facility has. STOP REMOVING NEGATIVE REVIEWS. You're overpaying for what you get. This place is so narrow that parking spots are very limited. The rooms have no ventilation and the lights are very dim. Floor boards are all messed up and the entire place just looks like it's been managed poorly. People leave trash along the hallways which is ridiculous. And forget about paying the optional insurance fees because the insurance company is also horrible. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE! Your money for the security of your items are better off somewhere else. Shady business is happening at this location.

I've been long time customer here and rent few units. But recently, one of my units was burglarized at CubeSmart Diamond Bar location. Insurance provided by CubeSmart did nothing to cover the storage break-ins. One of the staffs claimed to be manager named Roland said he knew who did it. (Because it was Roland who broke-in to storages?) When I asked who, Roland replied hysterically and agitated and couldn't provide any answers. This guys just dug his own grave with his lies. He was very manipulative and kept evading my questions. Roland couldn't even provide any evidences or how to write the statements. If it was liquor stores, laundromats or any other stores, they would share suspect's photos to the public and ask for public assistance. Roland, you show nice smiley face but you're unreliable. Do your job right because you failed as manager to keep storage safe. Roland brings a negative value to Cubesmart and should be replaced with capable management. I canceled all my units because of the unreliable experiences at Cubesmart. He made me very uncomfortable. I don't trust Cubesmart. For the future customers, be careful when things go wrong at CubeSmart, because it doesn't deliver what it promises which is to safe guard your properties. The case has been opened and pending. UPDATE: It's been few months since I provided all information and no solutions are provided by Cubesmart. Roland, what's going on?? Resolve the issues ASAP.

Raised rates well over 100% over a few years from $43 to $110. Greed... How about you guys use some of that increase and fix the elevators that don't open all the way and close on you as you walk through? They made no obvious upgrades or improvements to the facilities over the years I was there. It's not a terrible facility, but its not all that great either. Just be prepared to throw ever increasing amounts of money to a product that never gets better and ages obviously. Also, the insurance is such a racket. There are cheaper insurance companies out there. How about you help your customers out a bit and give them options?

This is my second time here in 6 years. I don't have a lot of "stuff" nor is it "valuable" by any stretch. I could've probably found a cheaper facility in another town (like El Monte or Pomona). But you really get what you pay for. Added security, clean facilities, friendly staff....and did I mention added security? They close at 10pm ON THE DOT. I've actually seen someone try to gain entry after 10.... They sent about 3 cop cars out (poor guy!) My coworker said her son's facility in Pomona recently got broken into. They snipped the lock. Nothing caught on camera. You wouldn't see that happen at CubeSmart. Again, I wish it were just a little less pricey. But honestly I would rather pay the extra just for that piece of mind. Because it might not be good stuff. Might not even be valuable stuff. But it's MY stuff. It's valuable to ME! . And so is CubeSmart ????

Limited hallway space when moving furniture making it difficult navigate storage causing bumps on furniture and belongings. No air/ventilation on the 3rd floor. Gets really hot in the afternoon during the summer months. The elevator door is not forgiving and has a short timer, continuously attempting to close when moving stuff in the elevator. The elevator door caused one of my bed frame drawers to fall off the dolly and damaging it. On the move out day, my van was completely full, I spoke with the clerk working the front desk and he was completely understanding. He allowed me to come back in the morning and remove a painting and a piece of my desk that would not fit in the van. He was okay with not charging me an additional day. However, the next shift overrode the previous clerks message and decided to charge me for another days rent stating that the pervious worker did not know what he was talking about. Had I known about this, I would’ve just came right back and took the other two items left behind. The Diamond Bar location is great, I felt safe , and the staff were friendly.

Went in to inquire about a unit and I was assisted by natalie. Natalie gave me one of the best customer service experiences that I've had in a long time. She was very nice , knowledgeable, and thorough from start to finish. I have never rented a storage unit before and she walked me thru the process every step of the way she showed me several units and suggested the size that would be best for me and my needs. The facility is also very nice its clean and has been well maintained. They have also upgraded the elevators recently which I thought was a very nice feature. Hi! I am writing this review today to show my deep gratitude and sincere appreciation for the team at Cube Smart Diamond Bar, Ca. I first became a customer of the storage facility in 2014 when I moved from Orange County to West Covina... and I am still a happy customer as of today... 6 years later. Happy New year 2020! There are other cube smart locations much closer to my house... but this particular location and its team won me over with their professionalism, their kindness and overall happy attitudes and friendliness. I still remember meeting them and how they helped me make such a rushed and stressful move easy and simple and they even have a truck! So that was huge for me as well. Specifically, I would like to highlight Roland who I believe is the manager at this location. He is absolutely wonderful! (And PS has a really terrific Star Wars Xmas tree that is so fun! ) No matter what I have asked for ... it’s done. Accomplished in a friendly and nice way. They don’t make excuses or give me problems. When I have a question they get back to me quickly. They are just really awesome people and it makes it nice just knowing the team is so helpful so that your stuff feels safe and secure. I actually believe these people care.. I always see Roland walking through grounds doing the lock checks and making sure everything is in order. They make sure people are not living there and that it’s a clean safe place. Recently, I needed to move /transfer units. And it was a huge stress for me. I was dreading it... I was even actually considering moving to the cube smart that is closer to me... but because they were Awesome in helping me with my new accommodations I stayed. They helped by finding me a new upgraded unit, gave me some perks for staying with them and made the whole transition super easy and soooo much less stressful. I won’t bore you with the details. But honestly, they didn’t have to do all of that. I genuinely appreciate Natalie for going the extra mile for me in several ways, and for Roland who makes that place feel safe and secure and not a chore to visit. I have even been able to speak to several other tenants who have also been there many years.. some more than me... and they all agree the team is exceptional! Thank you Specifically to Roland and Natalie who always come through for me over the past 6 years. They both have gone above and beyond in their customer service duties for me, to the point they do what is best for me.. easier for me, they think ahead, they don’t just go through the motions. Including when it comes to even billing, they are just so easy to work with. Having stuff in storage is sometimes stressful and hard.. but I genuinely feel you guys care and that makes all the difference. Thanks for making this experience one I can feel good about and even write positive things about. You really have made this part of my life easier. I had heard so many bad stories with storages around the country that I was very concerned when I had to move in 2014, my household belongings into two CubeSmart storages in Diamond Bar, California. Thanks to Roland Correa, I have now a very different opinion about storages. He not only runs the place with such professionalism, but he also makes people feel like family. He always asked how we were doing and showed interest in what we were doing, and how the move was coming along, etc. He not only showed interest in us as individuals, but he also worked very diligently to give us the confidence that our belongings were safe at CubeSmart. I still remember one time when I had left my purse inside the storage and the door wide open and I left unaware of what I had done. Soon after, I received a phone call from Rowland letting me know that I had left the unit open, but not to worry because he had already secured the storage with another lock. Confidently I can say, that CubeSmart DIAMOND BAR, is a better place thanks to Rowland Correa!

The whole advertisement set up is misleading and manipulative! This place advertised a 5X5 space for $51.30, BUT when all was said and done, I ended up paying $87.30. They hit me with a “admin fee” and mandatory "monthly" renters insurance, which increased the amount. I was finally there and didn’t want to keep running around looking for another lower priced storage so I reluctantly agreed to it but only for a month. I told them their advertisement is misleading and a con way of luring people to their business, to which the manager responded that she’d let corporate know. Sure... And what’s disturbing is their policy of making us buy renters insurance for the storage, rather than making it voluntary. I asked the general manager, not the manager, when was the last time they had an incident where property was either damaged or stolen. He had to think long and hard but came up with, “A few years back.” When I asked him about that “incident”, he said he didn’t want to talk about it because it might bring back luck. Sure. Back luck. In fact, he also said that he couldn’t talk about it. Right. It’s confidential and classified information. We all really don’t need renters insurance. It should be voluntarily. There needs to be a waiver of responsibility and liability form available to the customers. In Florida, there’s a class action law suit in regards to this very issue. The storage business is pocketing most of the insurance fee. It’s just another scam in our society. I’d like to see a class action law suit against CubeSmart Storage in Diamond Bar so they would no longer take advantage of hard working people. Thus, it's not their service thats at issue, it's the manipulative way they do their business that's needs to change.

I found CubeSmart online while I was in between housing. Everyone that's been through moves knows how frustrating it can be to find a storage that meets your budget, clean and secure. The Diamond Bar location was the most convenient one for me at the time, I saw it met all my needs. What convinced me was the staff, they were helpful from the start to the end. In particular Natalie she was very thorough, professional, and quite pleasant. I did't know what size storage I needed and she was patient with explaining sizes and rates. There were no hidden fees or problems when I ended my lease. Thank you for making the process so easy. Definitely will be recommending to friends and family!

Rowland the on-site manager was very thorough, professional, and quite pleasant. So far so good and the units are clean and well maintained not to mention however I will were the grounds and restroom facility. The location looks like it was brand new, but has been there for quite a while to my surprise. The units are built well and I am feeling like it's a secure location for my personal items mostly only in value to myself such as family photos and sentimental items I cannot seem to part with...Great job cube smart! To all of the people looking at my review let me say that I would appreciate if you can say that Sara Ward referred you so that I can see how much influence my honest review will bring plus it would really help me out and be up most appreciated as money is really tight and they have a referral program so you can check it out and save some cash after you feel satisfied like I do and refer your own friends to receive a discount on your own storage fees! I stored all my belongings here for 13 months while overseas. The setup process was easy. ??Never had an issue with auto billing. No surprise charges, very clear and upfront about billing process. ??The storage space was clean with no smells. ??Never saw trash in the hallways. ??Hallways brightly lit with motion sensors. ??Staff friendly and professional. ??Several heavy duty carts available for use. ??Large/tall elevator...although getting out for my 3rd floor unit was challenging for larger items but not impossible. ??Very little dust after a year of storage ??No signs of insects or pests ??????Ending lease was super easy, less than 5min process ??Will use again if needed, highly recommend this location FYI...Almost none of the units have lights in them, the larger units will be really dark. There are outlets in the hallway so make sure to bring a lamp and extension cord.

The Manager Roland is the best of any Storage facility I have used. He is knowledgeable, helpful and fair. When I lost my key to the Storage Roland and his staff were quick to assist by cutting the lock. When I had lots of boxes to move they offered their Dollys to make the job easier. Called around to all the storage facilities in the Diamond Bar area, Cubesmart was definitely the smart choice. While competitive in cost with the other storage companies the customer service is what sold us! Natalie was friendly, informative and accommodating. Highly recommended this facility for long or short term needs!!!

I've had a 10X20 cube here in their Diamond Bar facility since 2012 and Roland(Manager) and his staff have always provided exceptional service! This facility is very well-maintained and always clean.

Cube smart was the easiest storage experience I have ever encountered. I used it for a couple months, and it was very clean and easy start up. I walked in and the man at the counter got me set up in less than 10 minutes, while still helping out three other customers at the same time. I purchased a lock from them as well which was convenient. After a couple of months, I found a new home and had to move! I came on a sunday at 3:05, right after after their office was closing. The woman at the office Martha instructed me that since already closed down the office that she would close my account the next morning if I were to clean out my storage that day. I cleaned it out, and she called me the next day telling me she closed out the account, and I was so happy and pleased because most people don't follow up, and she went above and beyond even though I came to the office after hours. I would always recommend cube smart, and I'm really happy with my experience. Thanks Martha! Ali

I used the storage for about 8 months, and this is the best storage I've used by far. They have a service that renters can avail of and that is a free use of a small truck. That was so convenient and helpful. The facility surroundings were always clean and the staff all professional and helpful all the time. Will definitely recommend to my friends. Thanks Cube Smart for a wonderful experience.

I have had my storage here for 20 + years and I must say Roland, Brandon, Martha and Natalie are the best by far. They will WOW you Very helpful and professional I highly recommend this storage facility if you are living in the area

Quite possibly the finest customer service I have ever experienced. And by far the cleanest storage facility I have ever used and I have used a lot. terrible terrible terrible. loaded up a 26 ft truck, got there at 7 pm to move in, and guess what!? theres a lock on it! after i paid for it and all and the office was closed at 6 which is too early.. i had to drive to home depot before they closed, had about 1 min of leeway, 15 min away to buy a deadbolt cutter to cut the lock off,. just barely made it. thanks for nothing cubesmart. had to pay an extra hour of labor to 3 hired workers thanks to you plus buy the bolt cutters.

Customer Service was so over inflated it began to anger me! If I didn't need the location at this time I would have went else where. To much to state all in all the experience was painful and very annoying!

I have had a unit at the Diamondbar location for over two years and recently moved out. I hadn't been to my unit since moving in and the general manager remembered me and where I went from my previous visit. I was fully expecting to have either rodent or insect damage to some of my belongings, but after over two years there were no signs of rodent or pest activity. Highly recommend this location, as service doesn't get much better.

I absolutely love the staff at the diamond bar cubesmart. Roland and Carmen are just the best with outstanding customer service and special attention. I'll tell all of my friends about my experience and encourage them to come here for their storage needs. It's always neat clean and friendly.

I have had many storage units in the past twenty years and find the staff at CubeSmart in Diamond Bar to be far superior in their ability to accommodate my requirements. I am thankful for the flat carts they have on location for their customers; saves me numerous trips with boxes, etc. I currently have two units and will be securing a third this weekend thanks to vacating my home and my parents home who have recently passed away. A bit far from my home in Laguna but well worth the time spent on the freeway to get to Diamond Bar and half the cost of units in south Orange County.
