CubeSmart Self Storage is an okay company to do business with regarding storage solutions. The staff at the Hemet, Ca. facility (on Florida Ave.), specifically, were friendly and helpful to me, and the facility itself had gate access to the units available until 10:00pm. The only problem that I had with the Hemet, Ca. facility is that the outside bathroom inaccessible after the facility's office has closed, because you need to get a key from the staff. An alternative solution to needing a key would be greatly desirable for providing after hours access to the outside bathroom. Anyway, the reason for the rating that I'm giving to the CubeSmart Self Storage company is because their prices, in general, for renting a storage unit are too high for the amount of square footage that you get for each available storage unit, especially for Southern California. I may still do business again with CubeSmart in the near future, but it probably won't be until their rental prices are much, MUCH, more affordable to me.

The management at this facility are liars (mother, daughter and son). I rented a unit for my 83 year old mother and two days later canceled it as there was no need for it. Family decided to make different arrangements for my mother. The unit was rented on 3/4 and canceled on 3/6. On 3/14, the unit was still registered to my mother. Therefore, we could not get a refund, that’s what Jennifer told us. The office management, Jennifer, informed me that the reason she kept my mother registered on the unit is so that we could get a refund. That doesn’t make sense. There is fowl play and negligence of management. My mother received an email today 3/14 from CubeSmart which included an invoice for April. What?!! This was canceled on 3/6. What is going on? Don’t trust the management at this facility.

I highly recommend this place. My husband and I have been here for just under 6 months and we are happy with the service we have received. Just to be clear, they don't raise rates without notice, you are notified in advance. The ladies are friendly, helpful and go above and beyond. The negative reviews come from people who probably don't pay their bills on time or can't be happy ever. Storage isn't cheap, but you get what you pay for.

I have recently relocated to Hemet and needed storage closest to me. I had a choice between extra space and CubeSmart. I stopped into both and definitely decided that CubeSmart was for me. Their pricing was better. The property is very clean and the staff is very friendly. I was greeted with smiles from Jennifer and Clarice. They were very welcoming and helpful. I didn't know exactly what size I needed so they asked a few questions and showed me a few sizes. The lease process was very quick and easy and the gate hours are amazing. The payment process is awful, paying over the phone never works because there system has to up date it says invalid credit card when it's not, almost forces you to be late on your payment if you dont call when it exactly updates to recognize your Bill's due. Called to reserve a Trailor space they said they had on 24 X 10 that would have been great except distance between one set of units and the other was only about 15 to no more than 20 ft. My Trailor is 20ft from toung to rear plus the length of my truck is about 15ft for those of you who understand what it takes to back a Trailor up you know there's not going to be enough turning space to back it in and the biggest thing was i wasted an hour and half not to mention fuel for a 3/4 ton truck not impressed will put that place on the do not use list

Customer service was awesome. Cheapest (price) within 40 miles of Menifee and worth the extra drive. A little mix up in price by a few dollars, but still glad I made this choice for storage. Nice and clean and I was treated very kindly. Professional and respectful.

It was pleasant to revisit this place with new friendly employers than last two old ones...They had been helpful... ... however I had been with this site for long time... since first the price was $145 for same storage space. and now got up $193... even tho the new customer gets that same lowest price ... I think unfair. Beside I got only 10 % off for second one ... nothing offers as reward or for me being faithful customer.

Staff is fine, however I don't think it's fair to increase rent for the same service I've been getting.....dont try and play catch up with customers that have been with you for years, close to a decade!!!!! You want to increase the rent do it for new customers. I'm gonna be looking for a new, better storage for the current price increase.

If you like Clean, Secure Facility? This is the place after many complaints by myself and others. But the disrespectful treatment from ALL MANAGEMENT from the Site manager up is APPALLING! We have had our company storage here several years but as soon as we find another facility that meets our needs, we will do so in a heartbeat!
