The only storage facility that is open outside business hours. It’s super convenient! They are open even during all holidays and on the weekend. The staff (Sirous and Brandon) are helpful and the storage itself is super new and clean. Also I got a pretty big unit for the money I paid. Would definitely recommend it to my friends!

Great choice for personal storage - best price, best size, great service. Super excited to have a unit in LA with before and after access hours outside of normal business hours! The office and units are clean and spacious. Overall, wonderful experience. I pre-reserved, they had my unit ready for me and let me look at it before being locked in. The person working the sign up and check in made sure I was clear on payments, unit location, how to use the codes & access. He was even able to balance my new sign up with helping other customers with questions, leaving no one feeling untended to. It was very kind that he made sure my code worked on the elevator before sending me on my way.

Horrible and appalling experience today. My storage unit was breached at least TWICE in 6 months. First time within the first 16 hours of my move-in and the second time this week while visiting LA after 6 months. I also found four extra boxes in my unit that are NOT even mine - someone has been using it as their storage as well! If I had enough time, I would've moved out after the fist incident, but had to leave the same night out of town - poor timing there. The locks that I purchased from CubeSmart are useless - someone easily opened them up. The staff there doesn't really care and does not know how to deal with the issue - have just said to deal with the insurance. Have been trying to call the district manager, but unsuccessful to reach him. Have no choice left but let others know now here. I do NOT recommend this storage to anyone. Moving out asap.

I would like to personally compliment Maggie for her amazing customer service skills. She has been nothing short of fantastic every time I am assisted by her. Her professionalism is simply exquisite. Maggie has been so thorough in all of her explanations when it comes to all matters. Also, she has such patience and really listens to the client when they are speaking. She definitely has a mastery knowledge of her job role and that makes everything seamless for the client. Maggie is extremely detail oriented in her work. Fantastic experience! I had several questions throughout the couple weeks leading up to my booking and was always able to speak to the store manager! On the day the movers came with all my gear, the manager was extremely accommodating and allowed me to switch to a bigger unit, which I desperately needed! Ting and Cristopher are stellar when it comes to customer service. They both took the time to explain how it all works and made it crystal clear. They also walked me around the facility and explained how the gates, elevators, hours and loaner carts work. They answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns. They were very accommodating to what I needed in such short notice too. They keep the facility clean and running smoothly. The units are never hot or muggy. I must have checked out 5 other places but decided to go with them because the prices were fair, units were very clean, they have a safe environment and great customer service.

Excellent experience at CubeSmart on Olympic in West LA. Ting, the GM, was exceptionally helpful and efficient from Day 1 in getting us set up and moved in a few weeks later. The facility is clean, safe and comfortable. Everything worked well, the elevators, access to carts, etc. We're now able to move our stuff out, but I would definitely use this facility again (particularly if Ting is still there!), and recommend it to friends and others in need of storage space.

I had such a great experience at this facility. It was so clean and tidy and such a pleasure to be in. The associate Corey was disinfecting everything when I came in and was so friendly and courteous. I will definitely be recommending this facility to friends and family for storage needs!

Great space, very clean, people are always helpful to me whenever I need. American owned, great ambiance to store all my precious things. Climate controlled with fire sprinklers overhead. I highly recommend this place. Open 6-10 and no homeless around.

A storage unit containing the last of my late father's possessions was broken into here and robbed of numerous valuable and sentimental items. After paying >$500/month for a supposedly "secure" facility, these people won't even return my calls to arrange a refund for the month during which they allowed this break-in and did not provide the security for which we paid.

I had been there for 5 1/2 years when self storage one was the owner. It's a difference between night and day. Cubesmart is the most unprofessional business I have ever seen. During the summer months the air conditioning is turned down. The restrooms are locked after 6pm. I would normally go before 8pm to work on files and there is no place to wash your hands.What if you would like to use the restroom? There is a fee if you go on cubesmart website to make a payment. There is also a fer if you were to call the office to make a payment. One evening not long ago I waited for 10 min for the elevator, when I realized both were broken. Why not have a sign saying that both were broken. I could say more. But I hope you get the point. They appear to be very cheap as they try to nickle & dime you.

Have used the facility for several years and found the staff and service always very friendly and helpful and professionally run. The place is very clean, well lighted and feels very safe at anytime of the day! I highly recommend it, especially for someone who has never used a storage facility before.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I was moving back to LA from New York City and Ting and his team were so accommodating! I shipped multiple packages to the unit and without any issues they stored all of them for me. Ting’s response time was extremely fast which made things that much easier! The building is extremely secure and there are plenty of flat bed rolling carts to use!

The staff here are great, they respond to concerns quickly and compassionately and are willing to work with you if you're having difficulties. The units themselves are spacious, well lit and secure. I am using this storage for work. Ting helped me so much and is so on top of being helpful and kind in any way. I was waiting all day for a shipment to arrive and Ting said he would call me when it arrived. It arrived at 6 o'clock, and Ting called like he said he would , when they were closed. I didn't want them to be locked in the office, so despite it being the end of the day, Ting said he would bring all my very heavy boxes to my unit so I could have them early in the morning. Awesome experience, awesome establishment.

The high ratings you see are for SELF STORAGE ONE - but Cube Smart just bought it in mid-October 2018, and Cube Smart is horrible. The place is now filthy, for a while they turned off the air conditioning so even though you pay for an air conditioned unit there was no air conditioning. They don't even email you the monthly bill - now you have to call for it, how stupid is that. Cube Smart leaves one of the gates broken so anyone can get onto the property - again, you are paying for a locked property but the broken gate means unlocked. The previous employees of Self Storage One deserved five stars all the time - but Cube Smart gets zero stars (unfortunately this review system makes you choose at least one star). THere's one guy that answers the phone now and he seems uneducated, rude, and just plain ignorant. He keeps crying that they just bought the place so they haven't set up the email system. Give....me....a....break. If they paid millions for the place, they can afford a tech guy/girl to set up the email. Honestly, I will probably move to another storage place -- after three years so happy with Self Storage One -- because Cube Smart is a FAIL in every way - don't take care of the property, it's unsafe with broken gates, employee is rude and ignorant, they haven't even figured out how to email customers a bill (like the previous company ALWAYS did). Stay away from Cube Smart - go anywhere else.

Rented space for 2.5 years. This place (*when business was known as A1 Storage*) is GREAT! Made changes in budget, so I moved everything out; BUT the quality of storage was worth my time there. Great security (limiting access hours; don't get locked in!), climate-controlled space (yeah, stored "ole skool" VHS tapes -- my stuff's in perfect shape!), cleanliness (seriously, their bathroom sink sparkles like new -- maybe it is, LOL), fun music piped in whenever I was burrowing through my things, and conscientiousness of staff: manager Isela, asst. mgr Sonia, and Robert. Always helpful, courteous, and willing to work with you. If it didn't cost to rent, I'd keep stuff there way longer. LOL. Thanks, Team, for taking great care of my stuff! Blessings! =)

I moved in after signing up for an online special. I was hesitant, believing the online deal to be possibly fake. When I met Sonia, the Assistant Manager, at Self Storage, ALL of my hesitations were relieved. Sonia thoroughly explained to online specials. She explained the property policies as far as hours, visitors, moving truck, etc. in a super clear and approachable manner. I've been using this location since they first opened – almost 9 years, and there's nothing bad I can say about this place. I like that they enforce their rules and are totally in tune with what (and who) comes in and out of the facility. If problems develop, they are quick to address them and take whatever measures necessary to make things the way they should be. If you want clean, safe and secure storage in west LA, you won't do any better than these guys at Self Storage 1. They're first class compared to a lot of other storage facilities. If you've got a gripe at this place, odds are pretty good that they aren't the problem. It is as clean as any storage facility I've ever seen. There's never a shortage of carts, and they gladly accept deliveries for me on a regular basis. The staff is as friendly and helpful as you'll ever find, and they are easy to work with. I've added temporary units occasionally and they prorate to fit my needs and keep my costs to a minimum.

As a youth soccer company we have a large amount of equipment that needs to be utilized each weekend. We were struggling to find a place for all of this equipment to be stored during the week. I would totally recommend this storage. Robert at the Olympic and Bundy location is awesome. The entire storage is clean, well lit and has cctv. They have extended daily hours which is very convenient for renters. Robert was accommodating and courteous. He addressed all of my concerns and took the time to show me different storage sizes available. He explained the contract to me in detail and was helpful with all of my moving needs. They even provided a moving truck for free. If you decide to go with self storage 1, ask for Robert. ????????

I came there as a contractor to do work on elevator. I was impressed with the cleanliness of this location from the garage, various floors to the restroom. Isaela and Robert made themselves available to me while explaining the work I had completed. I spoke with a customer that praise how operations work here and the importance of secure access. I was in need of packaging material for my move next month and remembered I have passed by this place a few times. I decided to inquire about the storage options while I was there. Self Storage 1 is an excellent storage facility. I have used other storage facilities before and this one is the best. Most importantly, I always feel safe entering and exiting the building. The office personnel have a clear view of the elevators accessing the secured elevators. Every floor is well lit and has many surveillance cameras with a views of every corridor. Self Storage 1 always has complimentary dollies available and 1st time subscribers have the use a free U-Haul truck to transport your stuff.

My experience with Self Storage 1 on Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles was amazing. Their customer service is exemplary. While I was preparing my paperwork for my storage unit I had my friend wait iin my car with the radio on. When I was done, I went to my car only to find that the battery was dead when I tried to start it. Without hesitation the staff at SS1 were there to help me jump my car. They went above and beyond with the customer service because they were genuine and real people. I cannot express enough my gratitude and good fortune to have discovered a gem in LA. I never had any issues here, and the free truck for move-in (within 10 miles I'd believe) was a life saver. The staff was always friendly and helpful, the parking/loading area was never crowded, the facilities were always clean, and the price is pretty standard. Security seems solid too, never worried about theft or damage. When I checked out I moved all my things out without giving them notice and they simply closed my account without any extra fees or anything. I'll definitely use this place again if I have any future storage needs.

This is an excellent place -- chose it after looking at 10 places in West LA. The employees are service oriented, definitely aim to please and do it successfully. The facility is designed to make it easy for the user and keep items clean and secure. The hours of access are better than any other place I saw. Other added benefit is that the carts for transporting items to and from the storage space can be used during access hours. Other places keep carts locked up which means (1) you can only use carts during office hours, making longer access hours irrelevant and (2) you have to wait for someone to unlock for you. And here is the kicker, and I hope my new friends here don't use this against me -- the prices are somewhat less than the competition.

I have had my storage unit at this location for several years now. Actually more years than I wish to admit. Isela the manager has always been of great help when I needed it. I like that the facility: is climate-controlled; has competitive rates for storage and insurance; is very clean with everything in top working order; has a very good selection of packing materials; has good security measures; and offers a free truck for move-in. I would definitely recommend this place to those needing a storage unit.

Top notch storage space. Great staff. Isela was friendly, cheerful, upbeat, open with answering questions, open about everything in general. They have nothing to hide because it's a great facility. Great and very many security features, place looks new, big elevators, well lit, feels safe and also sturdy, dry, and clean. It's all you can ask for in a storage space.

This is a first class operation, and although they are a little more expensive than some, the free use of the truck made it worth it. AND then there are the employees, I can't say enough about Sonia and her team; they are always there to help, and they are very prompt, extremely courteous and go out of their way to help. They respond very quickly to anything you need and really make an effort. Can not say enough, thanks for making my storage move so easy! Also, the facility itself is extremely clean, well lit, and easy to maneuver. (elevators are a little slow, but I will let that pass because everything else is excellent). I would not go anywhere else.

Best Storage Facility on the Westside! Floor by floor security, music, Clean, well lit, indoor parking and storage; never have to be in the rain or hot sun. Helpful friendly staff. I've stored my stuff for over 4 yrs. Can't say enough good things about this location!

My wife and I have a small unit here for all of our outdoor gear and all the extra stuff that doesn't fit in our small apartment. We access our unit frequently and always feel very safe and comfortable. They offer plenty of parking and their elevators are large. There are always carts to help us load our stuff up. Absolutely the best storage we have ever used!

I am so glad I found Self Storage 1! It is impeccably clean, well lighted, great features and reasonably priced for the area. Besides that, I have to mention the staff whom make your experience even better. They are helpful and make all your worries go away. This is the best facility I have found in my quest for Safe, Clean, Secure and with Friendly Staff! The grounds and units are impecable and Isela, Sonia, and Robert make it fun to go to storage! I am most impressed with the organization of the UPS deliveries which is one of the other reasons it would be hard to ever leave Self Storage 1. I have had an absolutely fantastic experience with Self Storage 1. Sonia has been such a help to me, alleviating any worries and always answering my questions. The staff at Self Storage are professional, kind, and just all round good people. The facilities are extremely secure, spotless, and the system is convenient. I haven't had to worry at all since moving my stuff into my unit there. I highly encourage anyone looking to store things in West LA to do it here. The deals are great, the staff are extremely upfront and clear with the contract, and you get a copy of everything! I recently dealt with a terrible moving company and when signing the contract with Self Storage 1, I was reminded how a true and good business operates. My husband and I loved the proximity of Self Storage 1. We could get there quickly and it was no hassle to get to our space. The staff their were professional and friendly. Whenever we had questions or concerns all the staff was helpful and great at offering meaningful suggestions. When we originally moved in using their truck was godsend as the size of the truck allowed us to make one big trip. Our time ended there when our needs for storage space changed, however, I would definitely use Self Storage 1 again is we needed storage space again.

Over all the storages I have been using for many years, Self Storage 1 has been one of the best ever. The service is outstanding, the staff is always very helpful and very courteous. One of my clients, as a personal assistant/ manager has used this Storage 1 now since early 2012; and the client continues to be satisfied. The client rents three sizable spaces from the beginning; and currently has an additional two smaller 10x10 short-term units for reorganization staging of contents of original three units. On behalf of client I have had numerous occasions to access the various units, and have always found this particular facility clean, easily accessible, carts available, temperature controlled and long-time friendly staff always helpful and willing to accommodate with any issue or concern. I initiated the client's move to this facility from another long-term occupancy of a previous nearby facility after much research at the time -- and this one was so much better in every aspect. Like any of these storage units, there are periodic price increases. However, for a clean, temperature controlled, easily accessible after office hours, and secure facility -- this one seems very competitive and hard to beat. Isela (manager), Robert and Sonja (long-time employees) are all the best in my experience (as well as, my client's experience). If safety and security, dust and dirt, occasional varmints and bugs, and temperature are not your concerns then there are less expensive per sq ft storage solutions in this area of town.

I have been a client of Self Storage 1 for over 5 years. The facility is pristine all the time...the restrooms are cleaned daily...absolutely spotless. The building is air-conditioned and the staff is the BEST! I have packages delivered there frequently for my business and they are most accommodating to take and hold them for me even when I am on business trips. My favorite part is the manager and her team...they are so friendly and sweet...and of course professional. I can't say enough about their customer service. I have actually become friends with them and they treat everyone so well. I would not take my business anywhere else after my awesome experience at Self Storage 1 in West LA.

Of all the public storage facilities I've used over the past 15 years, this is by far the best experience I've had. For the facility, they keep it clean and everything in good working order. I've never had problems with the gates working, even with 24 hour access. (They don't offer 24 hour access to everyone, but I was fortunate to negotiate that into my rate.) The facility is also quite secure, and the staff is very responsive to anything around the building that needs attention. This location also accepts deliveries for me and holds them until I can get by and move them into my unit. As for the staff - they are all three top notch when it comes to customer service. They are always friendly and go out of their way to make sure my needs are accommodated. I would recommend this facility to anyone looking for a clean and secure facility on the west side. You might pay a few dollars more for a climate controlled facility, but all the good things about the property make it worth the price.

This is a great facility! It's very clean and temperature controlled which is helpful in the hot summer months. The staff is polite and really easy to work with. Security gate and elevator access hours are also great which is surprisingly hard to find. And, they don't lock up the rolling platform carts like other places. The only cons are that you can't pay online unless you set up a recurring payment. And, they recently raised our rent quite a bit so we had to leave. They did offer to work with us on the price, but in the end we found a larger unit for less elsewhere. Unfortunately our new facility is older, has fewer security features and is not as user friendly. If we could afford it, we would stay at Self Storage 1 in a heartbeat!

First let me say that the long time employees were most patient and helpful in every way. The check-in/billing computer system is very quick and efficient and they are fully knowledgeable on all aspects of it. The entire facility is super clean including the bathrooms. There are always easy to manage carts available for the transportation of your storage boxes which is not the case in some other facilities.. A simple code system allows you access when the office is closed.

Excellent in almost all respects. Climate controlled, high-quality concrete building, secure access and long access hours, knowledgeable and friendly staff, free move-in truck, convenient to freeway. Be aware that there are periodic price increases, so that the space becomes expensive even if it wasn't originally. Even so, you may find it a better value than some low-quality firetraps on the west side.
