Conveniently located for our needs. The monthly fees continue to increase, but that is also partially out of the company’s control due to inflation. I prefer that they were open later, perhaps 24/7, for those people who cannot always adhere to the “9-5” lifestyle. The reason I can only give a 3 star ?? review is because despite the friendly customer service and overall cleanliness, as well as the convenient location, the reality is that my unit DID get broken into and items WERE STOLEN! CubeSmart DID alert me, a police report WAS filed and the Insurance DID pay my claim in a very timely manner.

Small facility that is kept clean. The on site manager is wonderful, always friendly and honest. The only drawback are the rental rates and the constant increases. If you need a secure storage without weirdos hanging around the area, this place is great.

Clean storage units but alittle out dated compared to the many new storage companies that are in the area. I picked this one because it was $98 for a 5x10 for 12 months, would have kept it for that long at least, and now they are raising the price of my unit to close to the brand new fancy storage companies. And they force you to buy their insurance. I understand price increases but at least follow the promotion that was advertised before you start. And it was a 25% increase so watchout for that one.

Sue represents the highest levels of customer service I have ever experienced! Information was accurate, answered all of my questions, and her attention to detail made my wife and I feel as though we were in great hands. This was our first time shopping around for storage units and we did not have a clue were to begin with, like what size we needed, but Sue asked the right questions and made us realized we needed a slightly bigger storage unit than what we were thinking of getting. In a pinch Cube Smarts’ on line rental process is a seamless process. Within 15 minutes, I had a unit secured. The property in Mission Viejo is centrally located and clean. The on-site manager Sue made the process very pleasant!

I have used other storage facilities in the past but what sets CubeStorage apart is the personal touch CubeStorage offers. I received a phone call within about a minute of reserving a storage space online. I was actually a bit surprised, but I quickly realized how important this was because he provided me with valuable information. I moved in on a Sunday and the on-site employee, Sue (yes, they have an on-site employee!) let me know this was her day off, but provided me with information on how to access her if I had any problems at all. She reiterated all of this in a text, again encouraging me to reach out to her on site on her day off, if I had any difficulties. This is a level of personal support that is lacking at larger storage facilities. This is so important and instills a sense of confidence in me. I also believe the prices are very competitive.

Sue Chicoine is the Facilty Manager and I have not met many people who are more kind, helpful, and considerate as Sue was during our whole transition. She helped find the perfect unit for our needs, she was always available when we needed her help, and she made us feel very good about our whole experience. NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR STOLEN PROPERTY. This was the response I received after discovering that over $10K worth of rare collectibles, action figures (383 to be exact), and personal items were missing from my storage unit. There are NO cameras inside and NO sensors on the individual storage doors. They implied it was MY fault because I didn't check on my items more often. Didn't realize it was my responsibility to stand guard--what was I paying THEM for? There are more secure and responsible storage facilities out there. Stay far, far away from this place if you value your possessions.
