Patricia is amazing! Not particularly happy about the security. One would reasonably assume that the doors to the interior spaces are locked each night. That is not the case, and you're not told about that.

Please choose a different place to store your valuables / your items. My unit had items stolen from and as I try to explain to Willam who works in the office., he started yelling at me. Instead of just listening to the problem he went crazy as if he was the victim. I was calm and started getting scared and left with no choice but to walk away. I want to write this review as a warning to anyone looking for a storage facility to rent from. Do not trust this place. They are completely comfortable committing fraud. I will never forget how William acted, it is not normal behavior. He actually thinks it’s okay to go crazy on a customer. Words can barely describe the situation I had to deal with.

I went in to pay my bill at CubeSmart and William introduced himself and thanked me for coming in. He then asked me what he could do for me and I told him that I’d like to pay my bill. He asked for my unit number, told me the amount and asked me to insert my card into the reader, to which I complied. I asked him where the lady worker was and he informed me that she was out sick and he was the new GM for CubeSmart. He asked if there was anything else that he could do for me, to which I replied no but thank you and I bid him farewell. I must say he was very polite, accommodating, and professional.

As a former Cube Smart customer i was overwhelmed by the truly exceptional service that Dana and William provided. The experience felt more like Family rather than just as provider and client relationship, from the greetings to the closing of sales it was very pleasant and excellent. That day was busy and William was attending and helping another customer, Dana didn't waste any time and made sure that i was help immediately by starting to get my information, after William was finished helping the other customer, he immediately took over to finish the the rental application process in a very accurate and timely manner. The Process of getting a unit was very simple & easy. I reserved the unit size I wanted online and Patricia called me soon after to confirm. Don't rent here, I recently moved my stuff down the road to U-Haul off Kalmia and Jefferson, every time I visited my unit within minutes the dude or lady would drive/pass by my unit, like they are trying to see if I was something illegal or who know what the hell they were after. These are small, minded people playing childish games beneath a 2nd grader. CubeSmart cooperate you can do better than this.

I recently had to help my friend move some items into her storage unit at CubeSmart California Oaks location. She asked for my help, feeling vulnerable, due to lights that are not working. Once we arrived, I understood why she reached out. As a woman, this setting is an invitation for a horrible experience. I would never come to this location at night alone. We made an agreement she would not come alone at night. I'm not always in a position to be available, but was glad to help. I was blown away a business operates in this manner. This is UNSAFE !!

Cube smart California Oaks, Murrieta Ca. Beware of this location and their scripted corporate responses when addressing your issues and concerns. I’ve been a loyal Cube-Smart tenant for over three years and dealt with security issues that all who may consider using this location should know about. Security issues stem from non-working gates, allowing anyone to enter at free will with bad intent, and now lights that don’t work at night, leaving areas on the facility in darkness, an invitation for thieves to steel your possessions, which has occurred. I’ve repeatedly asked for information, status, updates, or a solution with issues of concern to only receive the run around response. At first you comply with office personnel, or the managers response, then realize patterns of telling you what they want you to hear, or simply blowing you off. Always some excuse, or an attempt to present a plan that doesn’t transpire. Remember excuses do not apply to customers without consequences, like paying your bill. There should be some accountability on Cube Smarts end. Understand your storage payment applies to a working facility that must be secure, very important to all of us who work hard for our possessions. I suggest asking about functioning gates and working lights before choosing this location. Or anything of concern. Lastly, the Cube Smart location on California Oaks is affiliated with the location in Murrieta Ca, Monroe Ave. So, beware of the same antics.

Do not sign a lease until the day you are ready to move in. For those of you who are prudent, make a reservation for a specific day and pay in advance, their automated system will screw you. The start date isn't populated on the form when you sign, but is appended later after you pay. Onsite managers will tell you "there's nothing they can do about it, you already signed the lease". The lease that appended the date AFTER YOU SIGNED. shady as hell.

Literally the worst. You can't get ahold of anybody. I've left multiple voicemails and never once have they been returned. It'll be 2pm midweek and they don't answer their phones. Charged me for an extra month after the woman swore up and down I had done everything needed to close out the unit and I made her confirm over and over because I knew it would happen. THEY DO NOT RESPOND OR HELP YOU. Go literally anywhere else.

The storage unit was easy to rent and the price was very fair. You can arrange everything on line without having to go into the office. Checking out was easy too. The only reason I didn't rate it a ten is because when we moved our things in, the ground was wet from water leaking into the unit from the other units on the sides (it had rained the day befor). We had to lay cardboard over the entire floor before moving our things in so the boxes wouldn't get wet.

So far so bad. As I was driving through, some dude that was hanging out nearby walked right through the gate after me. I didn't stop at my unit, but drove through and back to the office. I could see in my rearview mirror he was looking inside the climate controlled units as he disappeared into one of them. When I got to the office, the office was locked and nobody was there. She was on lunch in the back room. Eventually she answered the door and I told her what happened, and she did call the police. It's not ok that someone can just walk in when they're on lunch. He had been let out by someone he said he knew. That wasn't true of course. So he grabbed his big push garbage dumpster and off he went. The police did finally arrive, but he was long gone. Cube Smart contacted me and assured me the police knows who the guy is, and will arrest him if he shows up again. I appreciate the effort, so changing to 5 stars for responding to my concerns.

Ruthie alone is worth 10 stars, and not just because we have the same name lol. The place is impeccably clean and well managed in a safe area. All of the staff I have interacted with has been phenomenal. The only thing I do not like about this place is that my bill went from $108 to $124 only 4 months after renting, and during a Pandemic no less. The reason I only took one star off for that, is the prices are very low to begin with, and Ruthie told me in advance to expect an increase based on the rental season, but hell 4 months? I would reccommend people rent here, but expect to pay more than that "low price very quickly"

This is not the first storage facility that I've used. I've been here for about a year. Both Ruth and Victoria are extremely friendly and always helpful. I only wish other businesses had people this friendly and professional. This place is not only very secure with security cameras everywhere, but it's also kept extremely clean. If you're in a position that necessitates renting storage space in the area, this is the place.

I have had storage in different places but this one is by far the best one. This review is for the GM Ruth. She is the best manager that I have ever encountered with. She always on point with the property and anytime I ask her to do anything she is there right away. I'm sorry that I cannot say the same great things about the manager that was there on Sunday. I asked her to change the bulb on my new cube and the experience was weird. She removed the bulb and instead of stepping down to put the light bulb on the floor, instead she drops it as I was standing there. After trying to replace it, she couldn't and blamed Ruth for not ordering the correct bulb. I found that to be very unprofessional and uncalled for. Ruth is very professional and always willing to help. This experience I had with this manager was different and next time, I will wait for Ruth to be there . When Ruth and I went to check out the space she noticed that it needed to be swept. The manager was in that area sweeping and Ruth asked her if she can please sweep the cube before I moved in. The managers face didn't look too thrill when Ruth asked her to do that. When I moved in the cube, there was webs on the corners and none of the corners were swept.

I work all over the country and I've had my 1953 GMC truck and a storage for my personal effects and furniture for 4 years now. The women who work there are wonderful. There names are Sol and Shawntel. When the cover I had on my truck became tattered they called me on the phone to tell me. And low and behold they repaired it for me!! totally unexpected and highly appreciated. They have always looked out for me and my wife's belongings, and when I came back to Cali during hurricane Harvey I stopped by and rented a trailer to tow my old truck to Texas with me. I pulled it out the day after my rent payment had been collected for the next months rent on the truck. I didn't even think about that, and a couple days later Shawntel called me and said she was going to get me a refund check sent to my address in Texas!! I love Cube Smart. Excellent location easy to get in and out, the staff Denise, Cadence and there's another lady cant remember her name but all 3 ladies WOW keep up the job ladies. I would diffenelty referred my family and friends to Cube Smart. I love it!

The staff is very friendly. They always have great deals and the first month is half off. They do walk around several times a day to make sure the units are secured.

This is my second time having a storage at CubeSmart and both experiences have been excellent. Denise and Lisa were friendly, professional, and informative and provided the most pleasant customer service experience. Moving is stressful and they definitely made the process a little less painful, even when we underestimated how much stuff we had in our house and had to rent a second storage unit.
