Not good experience. People are not honest. Lured you into rent a bigger unit while when arrived, it is two independent smaller units. Can not even access through gate within less than two days after rented unit. What is the point of renting your storage unit while can not get access to items being stored within less than 2 days after rented? Must stay far away.

My storage was broken into. On multiple occasions there were additional attempts, which damaged my locks. Some attempts were made to alleviate the problem of thefts by putting up a new fence, but the security cameras which faced my unit were spray painted over and for some reason were never fixed.

I just wanted to say I’ve had many storage places in my time. And I’m so thankful that I found a place like cubesmart herein Sacramento. The management has been more then helpful in me renting the right storage unit and helpful with the upgrade. The area the storage is in is not the best area . Lots of crime so it’s nice to see that it’s a gated community for me to store my belongings… I believe that the management or manager are doing a awesome job to keep the facility clean and secure for everyone… I think her name is Bobby. Managing the storage units is one thing but customer service is another and it costs absolutely nothing to be kind. A simple hey you know your agreement it says that you cannot have the door closed when you're inside could have sufficed but instead the attitude and the rudeness of the manager was what was displayed and now I've been given 10 days to leave and also to be told that I can only access my unit during office hours is a little ridiculous but which is fine, Because I will take my money elsewhere but think twice before you lease your stuff here because the manager can be very rude basically because she has strong assumptions and she goes off of her assumptions. She was not only rude to me but she was also rude to my husband where the within the first week, the gate code wouldn't work so my husband got extremely frustrated and she disrespected my husband told him that he needed to leave the premises immediately when he didn't do anything wrong other than just walk in the gate and I did make him apologize because of his reaction towards her disrespect. I guess she gave him a hug which I found inappropriate but anyways I left it alone. The manager is extremely overbearing to say oh you can't have the door closed and you need to leave and I can't leave until you leave and you know just the way that she went about it she didn't have to do that that way it was unnecessary. I wish I could've recorded it. Simply taking a break from organizing my stuff you know after a couple hours closing the door because my units has the sun right there blaring in my face I didn't think it would be an issue but like I said that's fine I'll take my money elsewhere. I just came back into town to get some things for my storage organize my things because I travel from here to Los Angeles and I found a roach in my things and I've never had roaches so be careful. Edit: BEWARE!! Not only was I EXTREMELY INCONVENIENCED FOR NO REASON AT ALL but I also found out I was being overcharged a 10x20 price when I was given a 10×15 instead. This whole incident over the manager Bobby lies and assumptions has cost me about $500 unnecessarily. Moving is already stressful enough but to add, moving into a storage to have to move out a month later into a different one get another uhual, pay people again to move plus gas plus 2 nights of hotel stay, food missing work 3 nights was RIDICULOUS! There's other places that are better areas bigger storages and way better management with way better customer service and security stay away if you can at all cost.. FYI one of the people that made a review on here works around the corner at the other storages she gave me a tour of the storage before I had chose this place so they're paying people to put reviews on here for this storage it's really sad. I will not recommend this place to absolutely anyone when I first moved in because it was such a smooth and easy process I told them that I would because of Shannon but because of this manager Bobby I will not recommend anybody to put their things here unless they want to deal with a bipolar person who can't make up her mind if she wants to be rude or nice one day to the next. I'm a previous manager and I would never speak to any of my tenants that way I will never speak to any of my potential tenants that way you just don't talk to people or treat people with assumptions this way when you're in the property Management Field or customer service industry. Because of the stress and the suffering that I have been caused and the money that I am out for absolutely no reason whatsoever I will be contacting my attorney.

If I could give less than 1 star I would. Cubesmart hired Janis doors to replace my storage unit door. An employee from Janis doors robbed my storage unit. When I called the police to report it there asked cubesmart for the camera footage. A cubesmart employee said they couldn't give them the footage with a warrant or a subpoena. When I filed my police report with American Insurance, which is the insurance you have to have if you use cubesmart, they told me that they were not responsible for reimbursement of my property as cubesmart had hired the thief. So they said cubesmart is responsible. Cubesmart said no we aren't. I still can't believe that my storage unit was broken into with cameras and a live human security guard on site. But it did happen. So I'm telling anyone that will listen. DON'T USE CUBESMART OR AMERICAN INSURANCE!!! Please learn from my mistake. Have a better day then me.

Now....I've moved plenty of times from One City to the Next all Over Northern California stretching from the Beautiful Cool Nights of the Bay Area. I even Hopped from State to State and NOT Once had I purchased a Storage Unit to actually Store My Personal Belongings. Thanks to CubeSmart and their Online Contactless Service I was able to Make My Reservation and Request the Storage Unit I preferred. Set Up My Account Online with My Personal Information and enrolled in the Auto-Pay Service provided as One Of the Many Perks. And to Make matters More Convenient and Less Stressful for Me I had Paid and E-Signed My Rental Agreement and Moved In All In that Same Day. The whole Process Took Me About 15 minutes, IF not shorter; to complete. CubeSmart Self Storage Provides an Easy, Stress Free, and Convenient Service to Their Customers. Do not rent from this facility. My unit was broken into and destroyed many items. It was not broken into once but TWICE! The crazy lady that works in the office Sue is very rude and unprofessional. After the first time it was broken into I asked her if they had cameras or security guards and she said no. Then the next time I talked to her she told me oh yes we have cameras just not adequate lighting at night time. Had I known my items were not being protected or watched over I would have never rented from this facility. They broke into the back wall of my unit. They never repaired it even after I asked several times when was it going to be repaired? Therefore the thiefs broke back in again a month later. Very stressful. I had to drive 8 hours to handle the situation. Wherever you decide to rent, please make sure to verify they have good security or cameras.

Was good. Even after receiving the notice to remove our items. That's was fine. It's a contract that can be ended by either party with notice. But it's a month to month contract. Was asked to be out by june 31st. What day is that on. Moved out end of may. And receive a 412 bill for rent through July 28th. Sorry. Month to month contract. You guys asked us to leave by giving me written 30 day notice and told my friend we had ten days. So we moved in ten day. Not paying for two months of rent for a space we aren't in because you asked us to leave. I can read contracts. Not so sure anybody there had any idea how to handle the situation. Especially when I called when I got the letter to evict. The last on the phone said, and I quote, "oh you know what you did. We have cameras." And I stated if I knew that I wouldn't be calling. She responded with, "we are a private storage and don't have to give a reason." I was laughing cuz nobody would tell me. So we left. Unorganized and unprofessional place. I do NOT recommend.

Property management was courteous, professional, knowledgeable and made to whole rental process very easy for me! My vehicle was stored @ CubeSmart in a monthly parking space for almost (2) months. When I returned to get my vehicle, it was as I left it! There was no damage or issues! Checking out of storage was just as easy as checking in. Price was very reasonable also. I would definitely recommend CubeSmart on Watt Avenue to family/friends. Kudos to property manager Bobbie Wallen for providing this excellent experience! She was the best and had a great attitude!

Homeless people entering property when security door gets opened notify customer service and response was” that is normal” this causes theft and I less than a month my property was damaged and the converter was stolen. If you cannot make your payment because you're not working, your unit will have the lock cut off and then they will inventory your property for auction. Then steal some of your property, thinking that you will not pay your fees. These people are thieves!! I'll never store my property here again.

Just wanted to share with you a very nice experience that I had with Karen and Sue. These girls know thier stuff ! Both Ladies were very helpful and knowledgeable about services and information that I requested from them. CubeSmart was represented by very capable and gracious women at this location. I was always kept up to date and notified of any issues. It was convenient to be able to purchase packing materials and their selection included some very handy items. I also really enjoyed the rose bushes, just gorgeous! Thank you ??

I really like the staff here. They're friendly and very accommodating. The units seem well maintained and the rolling doors are easy to open. The renters of neighboring units are all friendly and seem to look out for each other.

Karen is extremely kind, patient, and proactive! I made a mistake on the size unit I needed after going through the whole sign up process. It is best to reserve a unit online as you can get a better deal. There is not enough lighting on some of the buildings which makes it hard to see at night. However, staff is friendly and honest. They tell you about any fees, insurance requirements upfront before you arrive if you reserve online and give you detailed instructions to make renting the unit a snap. I was in and out and overall happy with my experience.

Be warned they will raise your rent every 5 months by about 40%. Imagine every 5 months getting a rent increase to pay for the privilege of having your possession infested with cockroaches. Thanks Cubesmart! Be Cubesmart and find somewhere else to store your stuff.

Giving Cube Smart 2 stars.. I'm blow away after having such poor service by "management". When my husband and I first got our unit less than a year ago (we were expecting out first child as I was 6 months pregnant, so we needed extra space) we waited probably 40 mins for the manager who lives ON SITE. As for the units, ours was a bit damp but I did a sweep and spray down (seriously, who knows what people have stored in those things) Oh and I might add one morning on the way to drop my husband off at work around 9:20am we stopped by to pay our rent for the month and was shooed away by some lady (I'm assuming the manager, as I was waiting in the car with our daughter) eating a breakfast burrito. Seeing as we were there to PAY HER, it seemed a bit rude to decline us as if she didn't see my husband in his work shirt obviously in a hurry to get to work. But that's just another unfortunate encounter we have had with this gal.

Stored my son's car there.. Checked it had been broken into. Someone was living in the car. Burned paper inside the car to stay warm. The day I checked the hood was up. The lady in the office said she never saw anything. The I took the car out of there. As I was leaving homeless people walked up put the code in. Walked right in the gate the lady said nothing to them..Worst place ever to store a car..

Pricing of Cubesmart was within my budget. The unit I purchased was perfect for my needs. The service is seriously lacking however. The manager didn't know what was available when first checking out the space and conflicted with what the website stated. Once that was cleared and having to go online to reserve the one I wanted. Upon move in at 11am the office was closed with a sign stating they would return at 2pm. So I called the main number who claimed to call the manager and stated she was at the bank and should return in about 10 minutes and would inform the manager we are waiting. An hour goes by and we finally see the manager ON the property asking if we need her assistance. We verified we needed her assistance and instead of coming right to us we watcher her stop several times to clean up garbage. Once she finally came to us to do final paperwork she informed us she was onsite the whole time. If that's the case why is not a phone on the manager during these types of situations? Waiting an hour in the hot sun to wait on the manager who is actually ON SITE?! Ridiculous

The staff are awesome the only problem is it is definitely difficult to make payments on time. The automated system does not work and since they cannot take a payment over the phone we can only go on Saturdays cause the office closes at 6 and not home from work yet if I could get the website to work to create an account to make payments online that would be awesome but that isn't working either :(
