Hard to provide a rating for a self storage place I visited once, yesterday. No one in the office, so it was really self service. Got an email and followed the directions. A lock was left in the empty locker and I dropped my stuff off and locked up. For people who never want to deal with another human, this place would probably get a 5 rating.

The manager doesn't return phone calls or cleaning deposits. They do shady business at this location and probably explains why they wanted a "cash" deposit . If you're looking for a company that does right by the customer and doesn't steal from them, then this ain't the one.

Is there 0 stars? After registering on line I went to the office with my truck loaded on Monday just after 5 pm (when 6 pm is is their reported time of closing) and the office was closed, and lights out. I called and spoke to Tiffany and said I would be back on Wed (yesterday) by 5 pm and she said that would be fine, and again, (w/truck loaded) when I drove up, office was closed and lights were out. Along with the customer rep that I called who deals with the self storage spaces, and on Google it states the Orangevale Cube smart office closes at 6 pm. This is false advertisement. I no longer have interest in securing a storage unit at that facility. Twice let down.

Needed a new location to store my open car trailer near my house. I searched online and found 6-8 options nearby … and Cube Smart was the least expensive option, so I signed up online Sunday evening When I went to park the trailer on Monday and the office was closed… but they gave me my space number and gate code over the phone so I was able to drop it off even though they were Closed on Monday. I’m very happy with their convenient location, prices, and customer service..??

Although this self storage company is more or less clean and close by, I'll never use them again. They raised their prices twice on me within a year's period...ridiculous! To go from $65/month for a small storage space up to $96....craziness! Plus, the office personnel have less than desirable hours...worse than a bank! To see "out of office" posted on the during more than 4 times I visited on occasion...during the middle of the day...no thanks!

The entire process was seamless from going online to find the proper size, getting it under contract, passcode set and then a follow up call from a local rep letting me know the unit would be secured with a Zip Tag and a bag with lock would be inside awaiting my arrival...........Only shortfall was the light bulb in the unit was missing.

At first I thought it was going to be a fiasco but the manager there at CubeSmart I don't remember her name she was the sweetest girl she helped me get everything straightened out I booked online and somehow accidentally reserved four units and I guess when I was viewing them I was choosing them so when I reserve them I had four units and I did it over the phone so the two I picked turned out not to be the right ones and I paid for him and went and saw the place of the locks it's just it was all locked in and I was so stressed all night and then I talked to her that more next morning and she was so accommodating and so quick to fix the problem and so now I have no worries everything's straight and turned out to be a pretty smooth transition it's hard enough moving after 13 years all your belongings going into storage is scary but I feel very safe and very secure with my decision thank you CubeSmart

Price got waaay too high. Rent just kept going up - it was over $300. And it’s not in the best location. Gate has been stuck open a couple times but last Saturday it was wide open we drove in, did our last clean out and left and it was still open. Desk people are very nice however and grounds were clean. Just couldn’t take the constant price increase.

Previous management was superior to the unfortunate current management which engages in blatant disregard for existing long time customers. I had a simple question about an effective date for a rent increase. My question was ignored while the Manager processed my current storage rental payment. (She never acknowledged the amount of cash I gave her to verify we were in concurrence on the amount of cash. At the conclusion, I respectfully asked if she could please address my question. She acknowledged me in a flippant manner without the information yet again. She finally referred to her internal terms, (a pet peeve of most consumers) looked something up and was annoyed she had to work a little and due to her inability to focus and listen as she had to hear the question THREE times before I could get an answer. While I was visibly annoyed I did not conduct myself in any inappropriate manner in terms of language or otherwise. She lacks people skills and is better suited to be out of contact with the public and somewhere taking inventory or counting beans where she can’t be disruptive. It’s sad that after so many years of working with CubeSmart they have someone there giving the local BRAND a black eye and blemishing the brand of CubeSmart.

My experience have exceeded my expectations from the hours you can access your storage unit, to when I initially moved my belongings into the unit I was able to use one of their moving trucks paying a deposit and making sure to gas up prior to returning the truck saved on monies and time verses the traditional way of rentals. The entire establishment is always maintained, clean and organized. Lastly most importantly is their customer service. I cannot say enough about the two women I have had their assistance with but they are the best, friendly, great smiles and warm welcome and know their job very well. I am happy to have my belongings with Cubes art Self Storage.

The Staff were Very nice and helpful, but the facility was not the best, pretty run down. And being that they charge the highest prices, the least they could do is fix the damn lights. I wouldnt recommend this facility

From the time i entered the door until I left Rick was a true professional. After looking at storage unit, he looked at other CubeSmart locations near by to see if anything else was available. Went to the other location and looked at the other unit, even though it was a little bigger, it wasn't an outside unit that you could pull up to and unload. I went back and rented the original unit from Rick. Thanks for all the help.

I was at CubeSmart for 6 1/2 years. I recently moved out dreading there would be spiders, etc., in everything but I found only one dead bug. They keep it very clean. Although prices did climb over the years, they were not drastic hikes. Rick the Manager is most kind. :)

We have a storage locker and have always felt comfortable with the security at Cubesmart. We now have our motorhome at CubeSmart thus one could surmise we feel comfortable with this Self Storage facility. Staff is courteous and always willing to help the customer. I did not look for alternatives to CubeSmart to place our motorhome--we are CubeSmart happy customers.

The gentleman that helped us was fantastic. This level of customer service is what ALL businesses should strive for. As far as the storage units, that's pretty basic. It was clean and good size for the price and their hours are great for access.

I have very good experience storing my stuff at this storage. The manager is very cooperating and I did not face any issues. It looks to be safe and clean. The neighborhood is not perfect but this did not matter for me.

Wonderful experience.... The staff is genuinely concerned with the needs of their storage customers... They will bend over backwards to accomodate your needs.... They don't to know what the word no means when it comes to their customers... I would highly recommend them time and time again.... Try them you won't be disapointed... Rick and his staff are top notch and cant be beat for their willingness to help and their customer service is above superb!!!!
