They over charge for insurance and does not refund you when you supply them with your own even within 24 hours. There is no one there at the office during office hours. I would not recommend them if this is your first time renting a storage unit. They try to sell you or force you to buy their locks and insurance. You don't need their insurance if you have home owners or renters insurance. They don't tell you about the need for Insurance over the phone until you are there signing up. They sell you cheap over the phone but when you sign your contract in person they force you to buy their insurance. You can't open your account without insurance.

I came in today to get stuff out of storage but I needed access to the other storage that my company has I asked the front desk guy and he was completely rude and was not helpful whatsoever. He acted like it was too much to go into the computer and get information. That's your job sir. If you don't like it go home. I Gave him my cell phone so he can speak to the owner of the units and he hung up on him in front of me.

I have rented spaces and storage units here off and on for several years. Josh & David are very helpful for finding the right fit for my storage needs -especially last minute needs. I also am satisfied with the simple online reservation process. With my business and personal needs sometimes I need to make quick decisions to rent a unit late in the evening which I can do online. This has been a horrific experience! You have major rodent problems that have cost us thousands of dollars worth of product and way too many man hours to count. We had several drive-up units and a parking stall, spending thousands and thousands of dollars each year for our storage needs. We even moved our largest unit, 10 x 30, to a new building in attempt to rectify the situation because we were told there were no problems in that building. Wrong! We signed up for your insurance (they declined to help us) and it was no better! This left us with no other option but to move out all our units and our parking stall!!! We are now at Public Storage with three walls that go all the way up to the ceiling, and the fourth wall has large and very small grates at the top for venting, with no way a rodent can get in. Your facility is reliant on everyone not bringing food into their units. If one person does not comply, all of us suffer as the rodents roam freely from one unit to the other because at least two walls do not meet the ceiling plus your traps can't keep up. I can't tell you how upsetting this situation has been over the last 18 months or so. We tried to work with the GM and then the DM. No luck! Very horrible situation and we will make sure to let everyone we know not to use your facilities.

The company itself is just another cancerous, greed-driven corporate monstrosity, and their thinly veiled attempts at quantifying exploitable emotions in people with their ridiculous marketing ploys are laughable at best. I went to cubesmart and was greeted by a male office worker who was nice and there is another male office worker was pleasant and had an upbeat personality, but after using the unit for a week I was followed in one day by several police officers who had a search warrant for the unit very close to mine for stealing items from the other units. There are no cameras in the hallways where the units are located, so they can’t even say for sure who or when things were taken from my unit. So I decided to move units in another building, at the same location. It didn’t take long before I noticed my very large, brightly colored suitcase was taken with items inside, was stolen too.So not only were small items taken from my first unit but even a very large item was taken from the second unit and they had no idea who or when it was taken from their lack of security.! I finally left cubesmart after the last incident. I am now going thru the process of notifying the storages insurance. It’s been over a week now and I’ve filled out a form and emailed it back. No reply yet.

Cubesmart has been a seamless experience from a online reservation to renting the unit, the workflow(computerized) is well designed and doesn't require singing of endless amount of paperwork as in case of other public storage companies. Best part is there is no bait and switch tactics or upsell tactics of their services or goods like moving supplies etc. You have a choice to bring in your lock too unlike other companies who charge a arm and a leg for a $10 lock and won't take any other lock than what they sell. The facility is clean, spacious and secured. Staff is uber friendly. This is my first sighting of a public storage with a front office seen offering a keurig coffee..

The location and the facility are nice, the price is right on the web with 15% discount .... But when I signed up, I was hit by an additional $11/month insurance and $22 admin fee. Maybe it is disclosed in the web and I missed it. If the mandatory insurance is added into the rate, I feel more comfortable. Other than that, I like the storage.

David was our initial contact when we reserved our unit about a week ago. He was such a pleasant young man and, upon actually "moving in today", we had the pleasure of David waiting on us again!! He was VERY thorough in all aspects of the rental and we were very pleased with the whole experience. Cubesmart was a better bargain all around then the other guys up the street (whose name is limited to two letters...) and upon entering the gate and driving to our rental unit...we were greeted with an open door and a smile!!!
