The deceptive practices of this company should be watched. They pull what I would consider as a bait and switch. They advertised pricing for units and the descriptions are inaccurate. When you asked about the unit that was described they will tell you that oh that unit would be additional money. Well they did give me back the money that I had put down for the rental, it did take several phone calls to get a resolution to the issue.

The lady on the phone that I worked with was a major help, and she answered all my questions perfectly! The only downfall from the phone call is that what I was told, and what we agreed upon on the phone for my unit was not the case, when I got to the unit with my vehicle full of stuff. Lost thousands of dollars of property after our ‘secure’ unit was broken in to. The perpetrators had time to go through everything, have a meal and urinate on what they didn’t want. We were told the facility had security cameras and vigilant staff, but the cameras had been broken for three years. We weren’t the only unit broken in to, but nothing has been done to remedy this situation. 0 out 10, don’t recommend.

Signing up for the unit was easy, it was all done online without having to go in, and everyone was very helpful over the phone. However, I rented a 10x10 unit with Smart Rental, and the first time I go to use my unit, the key combination they gave me for the temporary lock did not work. I had to wait until the next day to move. Bummer. And then the unit I requested was a 10x10 unit, assuming I would have ten feet (roughly) or clearance length and width… only to find out the door to the storage unit is a considerable amount smaller, about the size of a regular house door. My friend who uses Cube Smart has a 10x10 and her door is much larger than mine, so that is what I was expecting. If you’re going to have 10x10 units with different size doors, it would be helpful to know this in advance. Thanks

I have a unit at the Rancho Cordova location. I rented here many years ago under different management who were professional and helpful. Our unit was broken into last year and I ended up filing a claim with insurance and there were absolutely no apologies or notice given to me by management. I found out when I drove into the storage. I have not had a good experience with this place and there's always homeless people on the grounds. It actually looks like management allows them to live there. It's nothing like it was prior to the current management. I went online to pay my rental on the 10th day of August and the rate was different. My rate is normally $132 and I was never notified in writing about any changes in my rate. I'm currently on disability and need to be notified in writing about increases at least 30 days in advance. I sent an email to the office so they'll get it when they open, but I have no faith they'll resolve this. I prefer to speak to a district manager or owner.

Well the rancho Cordova one the store manager Sean was freaking awesome they were very accommodating and very polite all the time they worked with me when I needed it and they assured me that everything was okay the times that I almost lost my storage cuz I did almost lose it a few times so I'm thankful that they work with me and they made sure that I kept my things and my late husband sings so I think their customer service is amazing and I just liked it thank you

We rented a 5'x10' unit. We only had one issue in the beginning and one complaint. First, the person who used the unit before us left a vehicle engine block in front of our newly rented unit. They told us they would havenit removed when we brought it up. The following months my husband got messages telling us to move the engine block or face consequences. We obviously were angry at the lack of communication on their part. We told them at least 3 times before they stopped calling. Second, storage unit prices always go up! You move into a 10'x10' unit for $110 and by the next year you're at almost $175. Other than the random homeless person or druggie, its pretty quite. THERE ARE NO CAMERAS ON THE SITE SO INSURE ALL ITEMS!

Place is infested with mice and rats. Most of the doors have the bottom rusted off giving easy access for rodents. When mentioned it to we where told they haven’t had any other complaints.

It was so easy unbelievably easy I called and reserved and arrived and paid and the process was so easy I don't know what else to say it was hassle-free not to mention I got the first month free and the second month rent was discounted by 15% it couldn't have come at a better time it seems like I was only in the office for 15 minutes and everything was done paid for storage bought a lock got to see where the storage was at and paid within 15 minutes unbelievable.

I checked out several storage facilities before coming here and was horrified at the service, cleanliness and lack of safety. When I came here I was shocked in a good way at how high their standards are. The owners run a very tight ship which I love. But, they were also very flexible with me when my move out date kept shifting. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone!

I have just moved from Superior storage on Sunrise blvd. To Cube storage. The reason for the move was due to the management at Superior harassing me. He (chase) was horrible, over charged me, locked me in the facility with no way out (because it was funny), it was the worst ! But then i found Cube storage and when i went in the office i found the nicest employees there. They were cheerful, helpful, went out of their way to be everything Superior was not. They even set me up with a nice moving truck for FREE! Can you believe it? Then on my last load the guy i hired to help me took off and left me with a 16ft truck fully loaded. Im almost 60yrs old. I cant unpack a truck filled with stuff! But the management came to my rescue and helped me until every piece was off the truck. I LOVE you Cube storage AND your wonderful staff. I have utilized self storagege many times over the years but this is the first time I have felt compelled to actually write a review. They are pretty much all the same. What makes this one stand out? Mario. He was warm and easy to talk to. He was helpful during the process, and suppied me with all the information I needed to make a good desicion. I have spent too much on a unit that was two big. And worse than that, rented one too small. And opted to rent a second unit and not have to transfer everything. Boy that cost me a bundle. So good customer service is what I needed. And just what I got!

I was in a bind , moving to Rancho Cordova CA . The apartment complex we moved to, had a very small space. I Googled storage places in my area , and found a couple. I was looking for a small size storage place , also with a truck that you can use as part of renting the space. I went to four places in the area. First of all the prices were steep. They did not offer any type of moving special. Some had moving carts that you can use on the property . Some did not offer any type equipment at all. CubeSmart was my last stop . When I walked into the office . I meet Kimberly Bohannan General Manager. She had everything I needed. She took out the time showed me the storage units ,and offered me a reasonable storage unit price. The correct size unit I needed . Even they have a truck you can use . Just have to schedule appointment , and pay $10 for the use. That was fair for me. The paperwork did not take long at all to fill out. She gave me all copies of everything that I signed. She was very pleasant with me during the whole transaction. I even scheduled to use a truck that day. Thank you so much for your help. This is the place to go if you looking for a good customer service , and a good fair price.

The staff seems to be helpful the problem is the amount of people that are living out of their storage every time I go there and open my doors random tweakers constantly walked by to check out what I have in my storage remember I was there late one night to find the Tweakers fighting over who can charge her phone and who can't charge your phone off the power grid after that I moved all my stuff out of there I don't recommend this place your stuff will definitely be stolen very limited cameras people walking in and out of the gate

Had a good experience reserving a unit online. I went in for a face-to-face greet the person working. He was just filling in while the regular staff were off for the day. Very nice gentleman I enjoyed working with him. I needed a unit ASAP and found out reserving online was the best way to get a discount. After a little wait the online reservation finally showed up and I got the online reservation discount. Hope you have a good experience there too.

First off this facility (541 Harbor Blvd. West Sacramento, CA 95691) Is in a perfect location. Very clean units in this facility and very good grounds keeping. Wonderfully bright and very helpful staff. RebeccaManager is fabulous at what she does and I can see why she is in charge. Wonderful prices and super friendly helpful staff what more could you ask for. Keep doing a fabulous guys and thank you CubeSmart. Will definitely store again in the future.
