Would give this place 0 stars. Too many frequent rising rates. No consideration/discount for legacy customers (8+ yrs). Fee charged to pay on time online! They do this to push you to use their app (to collect/sell) your metrics. Was formerly called Storage West and was run by friendly decent management. Soon as Cubesmart bought them out, rates increased regularly, big email push to sign onto their terms and new fee for paying bills online. Storage West never charged an online payment fee. Prime example of a greedy company buying out a smaller one and immediately raising rates and imposing charges. Lots of folks leaving Cubesmart-Redlands because of multiple rate hikes. Look elsewhere! Lots of cheaper local storage options.

I reserved my unit online, the same day. Setup was super easy. Everything was clean and ready to go, including my lock and an awesome welcome note! I was able to cut my storing time in half with the rolling platforms available as well. I had easy gate access as well, using the CubeSmart App! Great decision!!

I’m sad to hear about the downfall of this storage facility. It’s a shame to see the drastic difference between the former owners (Storage West) and CubeSmart. No one can run this store professionally like Brina. She managed this location 2009 when I moved in. It’s apparent that CubeSmart is not very supportive to the staff and customers. There is less security, break ins are happening and rent raises are through the roof. We all miss Brina dearly. I was told recently that she had moved on. She was always going above and beyond to help. She always gave good service with a smile. I miss her little jokes and peppy attitude. She was the best and I hope she finds something that can make her happy. The young lady running the store seems to be doing ok but the office hours are a mess. No one there most of the time and major gate issues keep happening. I hope the company helps this young lady out soon before she considers leaving too. ??

CubeStorage charges almost $400 a month. For a 20’x10’ storage The entrance gate wouldn’t open for five days. So I couldn’t get to my storage. Then more then 10 storage rooms were Burglarized when the gate did open

Something is clearly going on with this storage! For about 2 weeks there has been no staff in the office, doors locked and nobody can get access to their storage unit. No one is answering the phones either. What is very odd is that the staff that lives on site is the only one that has access to get through the gate but NO ONE else does. Tried calling customer service and customer service can't even get ahold of any one at the site either. But the live-in staff is definitely hiding which is strange. My advice is If you can get your items out and move to a different storage unit it is highly recommended because this has become very strange and many people are becoming suspicious. Customer service can't help you they will just give you the number to an Arthur to file a complaint but it's only a voice-mail. They have left no notice or anything. Get your items out before they end up going missing like other locations.

People Beware! If you don’t care about your property being stolen this is the right place for you. I got a storage unit at this place back in March 2022; I paid my unit month to month on time plus the insurance you’re required to pay if you want to rent here. Price went up toward the end of my lease and I gladly paid thinking my stuff was securely stored. I returned to collect my stuff after 9 months and to my surprise I found my plastic moving boxes open and on the floor , the disc lock I bought from Cube Smart was intact so I wasn’t sure if my boxes had stumbled on the floor because I had left them one on top of another; after picking them up I realized someone had gone through my stuff and stolen at least two items , a dyson vacuum and an Apple Watch that was inside a suitcase. I went to speak to the store manager who did not inspect the unit but offered the number of the insurance company and their customer service department. Not only did I have to pay until the end of the month for that storage unit even though I moved out at the beginning of the month; the insurance company didn’t want to pay for anything because the lock wasn’t forced or destroyed. There are no security cameras in the hallways and when I called to gain access to the ones outside they never returned my call. Their customer service number is just a recorded message there is no way to speak to an actual person. At the end I got robbed by Cube smart, their insurance company and the people who broke into my unit. I find it very suspicious that the lock was in perfect condition , it leads me to think it was someone who works there and maybe has a key or knows a way to open these locks that people get from them; this person knew there is no one patrolling the units and is aware there are no security cameras. This place isn’t cheap , I was glad I had found a place that looked clean and well taken care of, even if I had to pay twice the amount other places in the area charge for a storage unit of similar size. I never thought my stuff would be stolen and no one would be held responsible.

I had to leave Cube Smart due to the price kept going up, I moved my stuff from a big storage to a bit smaller than what I had. But the staff was great, I actually loved the owners that owned it before they sold it. They didn’t raise the rates as much as Cube Smart has since they took over but other than that I have nothing bad to say about Cube Smart.

I met Ocean the first time I was there to look at and lock in what size storage I needed. She was very professional and such a sweetheart. I also called their 800 number to get pricing and Stephanie (agent from Texas) was very helpful and I appreciated my help from her. I got an excellent deal due to their special they were having. I choose CubeSmart because the rent stays the same and doesn’t get raised but maybe once a year. Other places want to do rent increases within the first 3-4 months and then again in 9 months from the first raise with a minimum of $50 to $80 each time. With this inflation going on we don’t need companies looking at their customers as major dollar signs. We have to use a storage because I’m sure a lot of people are having to downsize their living space (like I have to do with my family) because we can’t afford the housing cost as it is. Storage places WILL make good money because more people are needing storage. Then what? We get evicted from our storage and loose everything? No thank you. I’m a single mom trying to get on my feet and survive without loosing everything. The day I moved in I met Stephanie (the regular manager). She was also beyond exceptional!! There were several people that walked into the office around the same time and she had a very professional and sweet attitude towards us all. A few just had questions. She handled the pressure with excellence. It’s not getting any easier to find kind worker’s these days. I also like how they have the storages set up. The ground were clean as well. I highly recommend using CubeSmart for your storage needs. Excellent, kind staff, clean and affordable. Thank you CubeSmart ladies. Happy customer here ???????

Brina was amazing, calling us to follow up on the reservation, making sure it was ready and easy to access when we moved in, and even went out of her way to change the reservation last minute when we needed a bigger space. We also didn't realized that we stayed after closing hours getting some things from our storage and she was very understanding, forgiving and accommodating when this happened - everything went smoother than we could have imagined and she was more than kind and professional. Moving is so stressful and we are beyond grateful to Brina and CubeSmart for making the process a little less so!

Reasonable prices, good security, very clean facility, VERY attentive staff. Once,I accidentally locked my unit incorrectly after picking up some stuff. This place is great. The prices are competitive with nearby units. The place is clean and gated. Brina (Facility Manager) might be the nicest most helpful person I have ever met! Got us a great deal on our unit. They also give you some tape and boxes for FREE! Plus you get to use their box truck for FREE one day to move all your stuff in. You don't even have to pay for gas! Great place to store all the stuff you wish you had just never bought, when you move.

Drove down from idaho to get some things from my storage....just to find out that this place is not 7 day access because the gate is closed on Easter...I can understand that the office is closed but Not the gate...so I seen to people in the office and knock on the door just to have the older man start screaming ( were closed )......that to me is piss poor customer service.. the only reason you have a business is because of customers like me....I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND YOU PEOPLE TO ANYONE AGAIN!!!!!

Back on August of 2016, all my of my stuff in Storage west was stolen. I unloaded my stuff on Suday August 21, 2016 where no one was around and next day on Monday August of 22, 2016, I stopped by get my doucuments and nothing was left but my books. I reported to Police Department immidately and with my effort I could get a video tape that shows that right after I left, a guy comes and he calls other his friends and come with a school bus / no license plat and load my stuff and left. imagine they knew where to go and immediately after I left the storage facilility. I have learned so much from this experience: 1. Don't share any thing wtih Storage staff. 2. these facilities dose not activate the alarm for storage unit right after your purchase. I have tested with other Storage Facility 3. they don't provide any video camera recorded on the site to you when theft happens. Specially the camera in lobby where you could see clearly who comes in to the storage bulidings. with force of law inforcement they might provide you only with the farthes camera possible. Remember don't trust the staff member specially the managers in this facility at all.
