This is the best storage I can find since I moved to the inland empire in 2015 it is now 2024. Although this lot looks rough the people that are in charge of the storage area are running a professional storage facility that is safe without gouging the pocketbook. Without exposing too much you can see the photos of the yard where I park my car, in the hallway that my storage unit is in , and iron fence extremely clean and organized.

This company is very inflexible and has lots of small fees. The worst is the administration fee, which is $29 if you rent more than one space you’ll pay additional $29 fees for every space or rent if you change your mind but have already paid. They will not give you your money back.

So we moved out of smart stop, or are trying to at least, because of a rude manager who is just reckless and completely root of never experienced such rudeness ever. But then we go right here to CubeSmart and we meet a young man I think his name was John I don't remember Jay something like that but it was something he works at night time he was a great kid no problems knew his stuff, cut to the chase a real direct shooter we like that. Let us see our storage unit beforehand seems clean more than willing to access the double entrance for us, and mind you that takes putting in some work, if we got his name wrong we apologize but I will fix the post later and edit it with is proper name. Because he deserves credit for it. The guy's great head on over to Arlington and Van Buren cuz CubeSmart is where you guys want to be. Plus they got the most awesomest puddles when it rains and you guys can go splashing in your car through it. Just kidding I only do it in my truck.

Our family rented from Arlington-Riverside Cube Smart off and on for three to four years before leaving. They FINALLY got some issues rectified, but not until after YEAAARS of homeless living on sight, break-in after break-in (we suffered two), and NO SECURITY outside of the on-sight managers. Customer service was GREAT when the office was open, and especially when Markie & Vianca were there, but getting answers from upper management was tough. Cameras were often broken or non-existent in certain rows, and they stopped taking partial payments, which really helped if bills began piling up as they do sometimes in life. Upper management seemed to care about the bottom line “more” then the customer at times, so if you do rent on the Arlington location and have a situation, collect LOTS OF PROOF, to help your case. New management & security is in place now (since about mid-September) and “looks” promising. Homeless are gone and break-ins have slowed, so if you have to or want to rent there things should be and stay better now! Good luck!

My boat trailer's wheel got stolen after it was jacked up, no compensation for that, and they failed to have my next spot tenant to move their car so I can maneuver my boat back into my spot during to how they were parked. Also didn't refund me for my 2 months lost time for not being able to store my boat, they rarely answer the phone at the storage facility and if they ever do they never call back with updates! Also the roads are very narrow and has huge pot holes and they never care to fix them, so typically you will hit bottom with your trailer or RV! My advise stay away and find somewhere else that is secured and provide proper service.

WORST STORAGE EVER! The property is always covered in trash and weeds. There is a pothole, which may actually be a sinkhole that has been expanding for over a year. It is now larger than a 10x10 unit and it is at the entrance of facility, so it is necessary for you to drive over it to get in. No one ever answers the phone or is available in office. Even their customer service line has no idea what is going on and says they are notating an account however when you call and talk to another person, there's never a note or anything. For a month I've been trying to reach them about vacating the unit. I spoke to customer service and tried to speak to the people in the office. I used their own junk removal service and paid for it, Gary, and he would even speak to the people in the office about how the unit was empty and the lock was off by the end of the month. He was polite, and honestly the only good experience I've had. They're still trying to charge me for this month even though there's nothing inside the unit and there's no lock on it and when I tried to speak about policies to the onsite staff they threatened to put a lock of their on there and charge me. I had to call multiple times and speak with different people just to force them to confirm that I will not be charged for a month I did not use or need.

I love cubesmart! I have a small storage here and I store my car here as well. They staff is real cool. The neighborhood isn't that great at all but I'm use to it now. My car been there for 2yrs now, I keep it there while in on the truck and hop in it when I get back. It's safe and convenient. BOA ATM is down the street, grocery store, Ross, dd's, dollar store, laundromat, starbucks, car wash, oil change, gas stations, fast food places, postal services and much more in the plaza across the street. Freeway access 60, 10, and 91 near by.

Customer service by far the best! From start to finish in 2022 the staff is on point honest courteous friendly informative and down to earth. And honest. And helpful. In person over the phone. I feel ashamed that I don’t know their names but I remember their faces and their smiles and their willingness to help me and explain and answer any questions Took care of my concerns the whole time I rented. Only critique would have wanted my unit to be a little cleaner upon move-in and there also was a damage light. But the other one worked. CubeSmart System is being handled right on Arlington. For the most part the units are clean enough. They have Techsystems to remind you of your payments and you can pay multiple ways. As long as you can call them you can get assistance. I couldn’t have been happier with this company and our experience.

For 3 years our storage was good with no issues. Today it was broken into, there were no cameras to catch the thieves and multiple childhood memories were stolen. The grief and our loss is not enough to put into words. The insurance we had is not enough to cover our losses. There are so many homeless living around the area with so much random stuff that I would not be surprised if they had something of ours. Be careful what you place into storage.

Do not use this facility. U can go to any other faculty but this one in particular has the latches on the storages backwards to where anybody can get into the storage unit. If u know anything about screws and bolts then u will know what I am talking about. They determine how long u can be in there depending in what size unit u have. And in my opinion the manager and her other female employee are prejudice against white people. i felt disrespected and discriminated against.

For the duration of my stay, they couldn't keep a single employee on property for more than a month. Meanwhile their units are being broken into every two weeks and their insurance company doesn't ever pay out. Their GM Arthur Salaiz was awful and disrespectful, before becoming completely unresponsive. Worst dump ever! Dishonest owner and terrible, unprofessional management too. The place stinks, literally. Garbage and trash stacked and piled up all over the place. Maintenance, rarely, if ever! DON'T RENT HERE! They could care less about the customers or their belongings. Actually, I rate this valueless excuse for a storage facility minus all stars. A big fat ZERO. Owner or management: Don't attempt to reach out to me or even check your records for my name. 'Cause you won't find it. I used a different name when I rented a unit at your s**t hole of a dump. Don't entrust this storage with your belongings. They are not good stewards of the storage units and the storage facility. My unit was broken into last night and everything was taken out of my unit. All the units in my building were broken into. They have a resident manager living in the storage facility and it was still robbed. I also found out, it's not the first time. They are allowing homeless people to rent units in this facility. If I would have known that - I would have taken my belongings somewhere else. Very disappointing. They are not just stuff that they took. They took precious mementos and memories that money can't buy. I felt violated. I am not sure how the staff and management allowed this to happen. Save yourself from heartache. Store your belongings somewhere else.

All of my belongings were stolen in a matter of two weeks. There are 0 security cameras/guards/dogs/enforcement other than a temperamental gate you're supposed to be able to unlock with a code ever so creatively made up of your unit number and last four of phone number. The back door “lock,” if you can even call it that, had clearly been tampered with as had the next two units beside mine. I had narrowed down my life significantly prior to my cross country move, maybe 15 USPS medium priority boxes, some vacuum seal bags, totes, a suitcase, and larger items — only things that were precious to me were left, I had meticulously gone through it all. Things I will never, ever be able to get back are gone forever: childhood photos, my childhood piano, art given by people who are no longer in my life…it’s beyond violating and devastating. The fact I had to be the one to inform the facility that didn’t even bother enforcing security so I could have even a shred of hope for some kind of justice, that this happened and not the other way around is beyond unacceptable. Supposedly the manager I met with was new to the facility, their one redeeming quality was their honesty as they admitted that, “no, at this time we do not have cameras” as I filled out the incident report snd simultaneously closed out my lease of a whopping month. This is my first ever storage unit experience, you could maybe argue naivety sure — how naive I was to ever dream a STORAGE FACILITY would keep my things safe — it had one job, and it failed me in the most unforgiving of ways.

Do not to use this place. You would think for a big corporation they would be more secure. Nope had my storage broken into. They managed to take everything that was of value. A dirt bike and camping equipment and jeep parts. And had time to break into 2 others in my row. So much for cameras and and security ! Place has gone downhill since I came 2 years ago. This CubeSmart has a lot of homeless people that steal and can break in and have broken in. Last time I came here the employee came 20 minutes late so I was waiting outside because I was trying to get a storage space so that was kind of annoying.

Just a heads-up if you found this place through some search engine or advertisement and are considering storing any of your belongings here, I would strongly advise you to find somewhere else. Your items will more than likely be stolen or damaged or face some other calamity and you will have to hope your insurance reimbursement covers your loss. If you read your contract closely before signing the lease you would have known the fine print language protects them from any liability, unless proven negligence. However if you have been unfortunate enough to have your property stolen from this place you would know that from talking to the Riverside Police that this storage yard is constantly having calls for stolen property, and a majority of the time you won't even have a frame of reference of when it was stolen it could have been a day ago or could've been a month ago, who knows? Cubesmart certainly doesn't. Don't be fooled by the illusion of security and think for a second that anything will be safe while stored here. The security cameras and gate are completely useless because someone can freely come in and break in to your unit or take your vehicles, or recreational equipment and just stroll on out of there without breaking a sweat. If you read this and then still decide to go ahead and store your property here because you assume that something like this won't happen to you, or that this is an exaggeration of how bad the problem actually is... then I wish you luck, and would advise you to get full coverage insurance. Cubesmart is a hive of criminal activity, scum, and crooks.

Chose this facility because of cleanliness, and helpfulness of the staff. To my dismay my unit has been burglarized. There is no evidence of tampering with the lock so clearly there is an issue with the locks they basically require you to buy. When I suggested that someone has a master key I was told no and that someone must just know how to get into the lock. Also, I am not the only one that has been burglarized. Beware!

Came with my car loaded to move my stuff in and they didn't remove the lock from the door. The office is closed and the on-site manager is away. First day and they've already screwed up. Came in the second day to see how they could maybe remedy the situation, and witnessed the Assistant Manager (Brian) throw a can at a stray cat. At that point I just asked for a refund, as I'd rather store my things somewhere else. I was told they can't refund the cash I paid with, instead it would be a check that could take 2-3 weeks. The real Manager said she'd she what she could do to expedite the check, or possibly get me cash on Tuesday when she returns. I will update review with what she was able to do. Update: It took 2 weeks for the live-in Manager to even request/process the refund, and 2 additional weeks to receive the check. 4 weeks in total for a next day refund. I will never do business with them again, and calling corporate.

I was so impressed by her excellent attention to details and her pleasant personality and willingness to help. Long Story they took a $100 deposit from me and counted it in front of me 2 times. three days pass me seeing them each day, then the final day she comes by and tells me my depost was not what i gave them i gave $100 deposit but they said just minutes before move out that "by the way you only gave us $81 deposit but we let you slide!!! no they did not let me slide i gave them a hundred with receipt! had i given 81 they would have immediatly came down and told me! not one word did they say about my deposit until the end when they saw me all three days! Rip off! i am going to sue in small claims!

We had a great experience renting here. Adilene, Angela and Natalie were super friendly and helpful. They made the whole process very easy. Our storage area was clean and easy to load and unload. I loved that you have access so early and so late. The girls were helpful with everything they even went out of their way to return our glasses we left in the moving truck we rented...$10 rental you can't beat that!!. I would recomend this storage place to any of my friends or family.

My storage got broken into twice ,one guy 3 doors from my storage got broken into 3 times . So not a very safe place to store your stuff . No cameras towards the last half of storage units . Too many druggies camping over the fence .

I was very please with the service I received. Adilene. the manager greeted us with a warm smile & a friendly & helpful attitude. My husband & I were looking for a small unit that we could store boxes packed in prep for a move in a few months. I told her what I we needed and she took us to look at that size unit. Then I told her I wanted an indoors unit and she didn't have anything available but told me to keep calling her because she had one that was coming available soon. When I called back the unit was open & ready for us. When I went down and took care of the paperwork she helped me with the paperwork and made sure I understood it all. The process was painless, the location is easy to get to & the service was great.

The manager, Adilene, is very friendly and an amazing help. They accommodated our needs and gave us exactly what we needed. When we had an issue they were quick to fix the problem. They have a wide selection of large and small units with high ceilings. The units are clean, have limited lighting but that isn't an issue. Their security and insurance options are also a big plus!

The girls at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, unlike some of the other places I visited. I was a little disappointed that they do not have a garbage dumpster on the premises. There was a lot of trash around the property so I think they should put one in, and maybe people might use it. I know that I would. The storage facility is older than I expected, but it will do for what I am storing.

I like this place so much so that I have had my stuff stored there when they were U-Store. Only once did someone break into my unit and destroy personal things. The staff is very friendly I was sorry to see Ester and Miguel leave. Adilene and Erika are very nice. If I move back to Riverside I will use their facility again for my storage needs.

Selected the Arlington facility for its competitive price per sq ft, location close to my current residence, and availability of rv spaces. Since I've located here the company has made improvements in security fencing and has started to locate cameras in more areas. The most important thing is that the facility staff, Adilene and Natalie, are great to work with and solve any issue quickly, professionally and equitably. I have used CubeSmart for many years and currently rent 730 sq ft and 3 rv spaces. This location is the best I've used.
