Expect to pay 2-3 times your initial rate if you’re there a few years. Be aware that mice and other animals will have access to the climate-controlled unit as the walls don’t reach the ceilings. I also don’t like that there isn’t a dumpster for customers. There are added fees for paying online and if you want to pay in person, good luck! Often there is no one at the office, and it is difficult to contact the local store over the phone.

Cubesmart self storage should be ashamed of this location in general, safety and security for the clients there is very little, our storage and belongings are “depreciated” over the span of the break ins over shitty management after shitty management. The management fails to even report of the numerous break in’s that occur there daily. Extraspace on third will soon be my new location due to the security. The gates are always left open, exit gate was left wide open upon my move in, shoulda been a sign previous management there seemed pretty careless with anyone’s belongings, they hike the rent after move in which is expected but with very little notice and offer very crappy customer service at the location. Completely skip this place over.

Well for starters NICK! Nick is awesome. Super down to earth, very informative and quite helpful. He doesn’t judge you or try to belittle you. He treats you like an actual human being! Justin is pretty rad too (I hope that’s his name- nicks co-captain) The units are well kept and I was able to fit my whole apartment in my unit; no problem at all! I love how the app allows you to enter and exit just like that!! So no more having to get hella close to the box to input your number ??????. Glad I decided to stick with CubeSmart Self Storage! Price is right AND I received a discount so my move in cost was under $70! And moving forward my bill is less than $90. So no complaints here !!

Well I've been a customer of CubeSmart on and off for about 30 years. I have a storage there presently and Just Recently and unexpectedly my Son needed storage space, but no money, and mine is full, so I called my CubeSmart to see what kind of a deal they could Hook me up with.... Definitely don’t recommend. If anything run from this place!! We caught people inside our unit just now. Good thing we got license plate and all. And guess what!! They are people who rent a unit there as well!! So all these break ins we have had on our unit alone are the Same people that have a unit across from us. Would NOT recommend. Within the first week of moving into here we had our unit broken into and our stuff stolen. They moved us to a unit near the front, so beware if you are given a spot in the middle/upper level. There is little to no surveillance and they havent fixed the problem (lots of break ins even after). Office hours don't match, they are extremely short staffed, and they raise the rates consistently. We up $100+ from what we originally started off from. The front workers are great, but the main problem is management and corporate- they are absolutely horrible and inconsistent. The way the place is run I worried for our safety, and even the workers safety. There is minimal surveillance and enforcement, a few cameras watch the place, and we've seen many folks living in the units. We found a dead mouse in our unit even. When I contacted corporate for help, they were rude and giving out incorrect information so you cannot rely on them there even... trying to get accurate answers from corporate or a manager is like pulling teeth. There are better self-storage options to choose from very close by to this place. I would definitely recommend going elsewhere. Edit: corporate responded to message them but I've tried multiple times to speak with them regarding these issues. They do not care to make changes.

They should not be renting car parking spots here due to the vehicle vandalism issues. I did get lucky for few mo ths with my car. Then someone took the cat converter. Someone else caused 2200 in damages by drilling hole in the tank to steal $25 in gas. When I took the car out the 3rd thief showed up to break my windows and steal some clothes but was seen screaming mad the car was gone. Ok the last part I made up but u know it probably was likely. Here's the issue with parked cars. Anyplace. People are gona strip them apart. In any state in any storage place. Find somewhere else to leave the car. Get insurance too, I triedbto cut my cat converter off before storing but my mechanic wpuldnt do it. If I had to park at a place like this I wpuld find someone to cut it off, and get full insurance asuming the gas tank will be broken windows will be broken tires stole. Radio stolen and car totalled.

Our unit got broken into and my husband had to go fix it himself, there was water leaking into our unit everything was wet and rotten. If your looking for somewhere to have your storage avoid this place, Storages don't have lighting and its dark to see inside, Auctioneers F this place, was running a little late so i figured don't stop to get the 50$ to make 100$ sense other storages when its small with close to nothing items inside don't collect a cleanup fee, The POS person who was in charge didn't accept and cancelled my unit, after i told her i go the next day then, they didn't even refund me my 10% deposit!! Ain't doing business with you guys anymore.

I don't know where to start. In one word, it was, and remains, horrible. I still get upset when thinking about my experience with CubeSmart. I moved into CubeSmart storage at 4011 Fairgrounds St, Riverside, CA 92501, two months ago, at the beginning of November 2023, and couldn't wait to leave this place. In the two-month period, I heard from various sources about multiple break-ins by homeless people who reside in the area, yet was never notified about this important issue by the CubeSmart staff before moving into the location. Homeless individuals walk around the facility in broad daylight, stealing small or large items without any problems getting in and out, either empty-handed or with something in their hands. On New Year's Day, January 1st, 2024, they broke into my storage and stole one of my two $2,000 electric bikes. They couldn't take two at once, I would guess. I filed a police report and decided to move out based on the police recommendations, as they told me that burglaries occur from once to multiple times a week. As I was moving out on January 12, 2024, not even within one hour, some homeless person stole my second electric bike as we were going back and forth from the truck to the storage unit to pick up other items. All it took was a few minutes for this person to do it. I couldn't file an insurance claim as they said it wasn't a break-in, and the police couldn't do anything about it also because the surveillance video we got was of such poor quality that no one could even tell if this was a male or female. Case closed. Rebecca, the manager, was very helpful and did identify the female, knowing her name and address, but no arrest could be made or charges filed as there was no evidence, even though we had her on video literally taking the bike. A very awful experience. Not only would I not suggest CubeSmart to anyone, but I would also advise people to stay away from it. Furthermore, I think the security, including safety, is absolutely horrible. Big and small holes in fences and poor-quality videos are very disappointing, unfortunate, and, I would say, frightening. I feel awful, deceived, robbed, and outsmarted by homeless people who are literally coming empty-handed and leaving with other people's belongings while laughing at the system in place. It was very embarrassing, humiliating, and upsetting to be in this situation. I would like to hear from CubeSmart's management, safety, and supervision departments to see how they can compensate me for my devastating two-month stay and inconvenience, including the theft of two expensive electric bikes.

This facility is a dump. As soon as you get through the gates, you’ll see rusted beat-up cars and boats lined throughout the entire grounds. I stored my belongings here in August of 2023. Just 3 months later my storage unit was broken into. Over 5000 dollars worth of my family's belongings were stolen. After speaking with management about the incident it was not the first time they have witnessed break-ins. Would have been great to know before deciding to store my belongings here. Every day your things are stored here there’s a chance you won’t see it again. Might as well light your money on fire and toss all your belongings on top of said fire. This storage facility doesn't even deserve one star. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE.

If I could give it a rating of a zero star, I would .Your storage unit will be broken into and or vandalize. It’s probably the staff or some crackhead off the street because of where it’s located. I parked my car there for 2 1/2 years and it was broken into and ripped apart. even with insurance if you have a car, they’ll trying to go through your auto insurance even though you have insurance through the storage unit. they compensated me the first time it happened but the damage from the second time it happened I am still on an ongoing investigation to be compensated for my losses. They completely fell to keep your stuff safe and have teenagers in the office when you go to check on your stuff!!!!

This place doesn’t even deserve one star. My unit was broken into and lost all of my things. I can replace some but I had things store there that I will never be able to replace. When I reported it to management, they said that there were two other units broken into in the same hallway. I asked why I wasn’t notified right away to check on my unit and they said because my unit and lock “looked fine.” They had video surveillance of a white van and a u-haul truck going in but the video is terrible and you cannot zoom in on the plates. This place clearly has a break in problem yet they chose to do nothing.

I just had to write a review in regards to cubesmart in riverside. The office manager miss Rebecca is absolutely amazing at her job. She's super informative very nice customer service happy; She knows her job and she knows who her customers are, so definitely would recommend this place. I have 2 storages here. This is my 2nd storage location here in the inland Empire. I'm originally from LA county but I definitely will be coming back if I do ever need. Management is super unprofessional! No matter what time you go, the office will probably be close as well as the gate to go outside. You’ll have to wait for someone to come into get out. Horrible customer service!!! Their reported hours are completely off. They are not open on Sundays, regardless of what the sign says at the location or the email they send you. I also went at 12:00 when it said it was open and no one was there. I waited 30 minutes and no one showed up. When I got my cubes it was dark with tagging. But the worse part that the entrance was in a little dirt hallway that going in the evening was very scary. Horrible experience.

When we went to pick our stuff this week (Sunday 09/11/2022) we could not open our unit as cubesmart had put their red lock on it , with office closed on Sunday i called customer service. Customer service were very helpful in trying to reach the emergency service & the district manager. After an hour William ( district manager) called and apologized for the inconvenience and said another manager "Ocean" will come in 20mins. Ocean was extremely helpful and heard our concerns. Cubesmart is lucky to have ocean as your manager. She deserves an absolute recognition for the customer empathy. Because of employee's like William & Ocean i would give 100% to the experience we had.

If I could give zero stars I would! My RV was broken into twice. The windows were smashed and everything valuable was taken. Another time my battery was stolen and the cut the battery cable in the chain securing my battery. The barbed wire on their fences is cut and missing in many places but they don't care at all. And of course they take no responsibility in the theft and did nothing about it. Why the heck am I paying money to have my RV basically served up to thieves. Unbelievable how bad their security is! DO NOT STORE YOUR STUFF HERE!!

RENTERS BEWARE 70 UNITS BROKEN INTO RECENTLY!!! Mine was one of them. I sent management an email and still have received no response. Bad vibes from older office lady. I feel these recent break ins were an inside job. I don't believe they do things by the book here. And God forbid you happen to be late on ur bill due to a hardship. This spot is money hungry. They demand their payments and are real quick to take ur stuff if you don't pay breaching ur contract. But aren't quick to do sh*t when ur contract saying that they will keep ur belongings safe and on their property ur items are stolen!

Had my place broken into (someone picked the lock). Lost $6k worth of fishing gear. Their insurance did not cover due to a "picked lock". The corporation did not call me regarding any follow up. There are no cameras watching most of the storage and this place appears to get robbed frequently. Will be moving my stuff out shortly for a more professional business. Good place for storing junk. 3 Break ins , thefts from vehicles, fences being broken into, and the District Manager Andrew Olea will not respond!!! The ladies/managers who work this storage facility have requested cameras multiple times and Andrew is no where to be found. I have called and left multiple messages offering to pay for the camera system myself. I get no returned calls. How many vehicles have to be broken into before you put up cameras Andrew?? If you value your goods and don't want your vehicle broken into I advise stay away 11/28/2 update: there have been multiple break in attempts last night, my trailer included, damaging the trailer all over as they tried to pry their way in. Update 12/1/20. My RV and another Rv were both attempted to be stolen, they crashed the rvs and didn’t make it out . Now I have a totally damaged RV. Thanks cube smart for having no patrol, security, or security cameras . You guys are the best. 12/3/20 whole RV was stolen from this location. Over 50k gone before i could get enough time off work to put in a different storage facility. $50,000 cubesmart let walk away from this facility. No cameras, no security, manager nowhere to be found when I call in to ask questions. They did advise me they will not be renting to me anymore since I dont have a trailer to store there. Not only did they raise the monthly storage charges we found rat droppings on all our stuff. When we reported this issue they said another costumer brought the rats in and they are now kicked out, but as far as our stuff they didn't want to do anything about reimbursing us. We had to get clothes cleaned and some of our sports memorabilia got chewed threw. We're taking a loss and they can't even discount the bill. What am I paying for every month? Rodents control should fall directly on them. I thought I was paying for a clean storage space. Not a rat infested box. I'm not happy with the service they're providing.

Had my unit broken into, lost thousands of dollars of belongings, many other units had been broken into by the same people, apparently the people had been caught once, police released them and they returned time and time again, obviously no one did anything to prevent them from jumping the fence and taking what they could and walking back out the gate, last I heard they were caught and arrested again, but did not get my belonging back, insurance paid $2000 but still wasn't enough to replace unreplaceable items or the value of them. I'm so sorry I stored here

We were desperate to find a storage unit for our 32 ft. RV during prime season. The girls at CubeSmart assured us that they had the perfect spot for us. It was easy in, easy out. The grounds were clean and secure, and the location was conveniently located near freeways. Mayra, Natalie, and Stephanie were all great....even providing us with bottles of water on a hot day. Whorse place to storage your vehicles or your belongings no security at all and if something happens to your property they don't accept any resposabity even if is theft related.

Just the best service I would recommend it, is clean ,friendly and respectful staff ,the hours are convenient ,also well protected by cameras and it is safe there is much more good about the place ,love it! This is an awesome facility! It's always nice and clean, I've stored here for two years and have never had any problems. The staff from the General Manager and the two Managers are very friendly and always greet you with a smile. I highly recommend this facilty. They know me by name. Great customer service, there was a computer issue with my discount, and the normal people they would call to fix the issue were not available. They found a way around it in a timely manner!

CubeSmart raise their prices every couple of months. They attract you with a good monthly deal only to raise it once you have all your things moved in.

The people were pleasant and helpful, and the WOW moment was when they explained the 15% discount was for 6 months, but the price increase would be only 2-5% after that. Not 15% plus 2-5%, just 2-5% from initial rate. That is cool!!!!
