DO NOT COME HERE. The employees are running a racket and burglarizing units with immunity. We had an indoor unit locked behind 2 different doors. Still they broke into our unit and stole thousands worth of stuff and the insurance refused to cover it since there was “lack of evidence of a break in” cause the employees/maintenance are doing it with their keys so it doesn’t look tampered with. Probably the worst place Ive ever done business, working on getting the government involved.

Units at the 40th St location in San Bernardino are super small compared to the "same size" units at other local CubeSmart locations. Someone did not measure accurately. Double check sizing before moving in. Also, there are no lights in unit so it is hard to tell the sizing. Bring a light to be sure you are not being robbed on space. We will not be staying long.

They don’t treat their units for pests. There were roaches and bugs every where. I felt like it was unsanitary and unsafe for my property. I decided to not move my stuff in after all.

The staff are cool! Zuma always had an smile and helps out if there’s an issue. Like the day I moved out, both lifts weren’t working however she was able to get one to work and let me use the only flatbed cart. Trusted me a 1,000% with the cart! And promptly made sure I was good in closing out my account!

Tom gave clear and accurate instructions when I went to check out my unit and verify my identity. However, another person there was giving me issues about accessing my Unit due to “not being verified” yet. Apparently that was not communicated to her so I couldn’t get access for a while.

It's a old and outdated facility definitely needs to be upgraded. Also the storage units doors are howl and the door hinges are outside of the door which posse's a security risk not to mention that there's only a 1/2 sheet dry that sperate the two units.

Like the comments below. If I could leave 0 stars I could!!! I pay my unit on time and EVERY SINGLE TIME I GO THERE IS ALWAYS AN ISSUE! ACCESS CODES DOOR CODES. THEY HAVE NO PROBLEM TAKING MONEY BUT WHEN THERE ARE ISSUES THEY ARE NEVER IN THE OFFICE OR ANSWER THE PHONES. BY FAR THE WORST STORAGE I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. WHEN THERE issue s on their end, THEY SHOULD BE RESPONSIBLE DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!

EXTREAMLY dissatisfied with the customer service and out come! 2 days before Christmas I found my storage unit COMPLETELY EMPTY and “coincidentally” the EXTREAMLY rude staff informed me that there was an issue with the cameras during that time!! After the officers came out and clarified my claim that I was 100% ROBBED (suspicious Circumstances) I asked the staff if I would be refunded the rest of what I paid for the unit and I quote his response “no it is what it is” let me emphasize 2DAYS BEFORE CHRISTMAS!!!!!!! I was in the process of getting a new place and temporarily held ALL of my life’s belongings in this unit INCLUDING Christmas gifts that we did not want the kids to see!!!!!!!!! EVERYTHING GONE!!! then I ask the staff what’s the next step as far as video surveillance and the staff VERY RUDELY informs me that it will take weeks to review the cameras and he already made his claims to corporate and there’s nothing else for me to do on my end HERE WE ARE IN FEBRUARY and I’m still receiving emails that I owed past rent for JANUARY AND NOW FEBRUARY! **on a positive note** there is a gentleman by the name Isaiah whom is temporarily in charge for the next 2 weeks that reached out to me regarding “””my current balance owed””” I explained the situation to him and he cleared the the “owed balance” however I will NEVER in life EVER rent a storage unit again WORST experience by far!

I found the easy online reservation site. Soon after, I received an email of acknowledgement. The same day, in order to make an appointment, I received a friendly telephone call from the agent located on 40th Street in San Bernardino, CA I received a great rate plus an upgrade!

If I could leave 0 stars I would. I had a unit upstairs that got broken into MONTHS ago and didn’t even find out about it until I came to retrieve my belongings (which I couldn’t because it was “red tagged” ). I pay my bill on time every month and trusted my belongings would be safe or at lease would be emailed /notified about the situation. I’ve been paying on a unit that may or may not even have the things IM PAYING to store! Unit was broken into back in February and it’s now mid August. They have no problem taking your money every month but they obviously do not caring about the customers they serve. Oh yeah and I received an email that they’re are upping the monthly charges. Go elsewhere to store your things and avoid this headache.

I had to get a storage unit, have the time the codes don't work on some of the doors there is NO security camers in the up stairs units they totally did not plan it out when they built that place, there was urine in the hallway, no telling what else goes on in that place. I won't be renting there for very long. And only one fright elevator and pushing things up the ramps. Not a very good place at all...

Wasnt happy to reserve 8 x 13. Get there to sign paperwork and cubesmart emplooyee tells me my unit is 10 x 10 and unit is actually niether! It is a 8 x9! I also dont apperciate the extra costs, you have to have isurace, the lowest is $12 a month. Thats not all, I had to buy $15 lock from office,they dont allow padlocks to used. Nexft fee to be added was a $24 administration fee and last but not least was the tax for the lock. So my first month was supposed to be free and I ended paying $56 to open/get my smaller unit, a trip back to Walmart to return padlockh (like I dont have moving to do already)! First months rent isnt so free after all! If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Oh and that 10% taken off month rent rate, thats the space less in square footage in my unit.

Horrible location and company. The manager Thomas very unprofessional. He relayed my private information to someone else without my consent. He also also added extra fees that he can't justify or back up with emails and tried to auction our items when the policy clearly stated we had way more time. I called corporate and they said someone would call me back that was 5 business days ago. I recommend public storage to anyone not looking to get ripped off or get embarrassed because nothing is being done about the problem.

Staff is friendly and the areas is clean. There have been a couple of break-ins since I've been there, which has been about 4 years. The staff have notified me in a timely manner. This is an older facility but when it comes to storing your items it does the job. Reasonable rates.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would... I made a reservation with their manager for a Sunday.. I was told they were open from 11am-3... We get there at 1050 and know we have to wait 10 minutes... No biggie... Well at 1115-1120 there was STILL no one there so we went down the street to store america... They are clean,they are friendly... And they open when they say they do!!!

The Manager there is Very Proffesional and helpful. Always has and answer for any of my questions. However the Latina Lady thats has been there for some time now is very rude. Not at all helpful and it looks like she made the office chair a personal fitted cushion fit for her descript body weight. She has a smart mouth and very rude when she is asked too many questions. On the other hand she presents herseauthorit she is the only one with high authority.Thanks to the ppl who keep a proffesional profile when it comes to customer service.
