Horrible customer service constant back and forth with employees in the office, I’ve been waiting for a contract issue to be solved for over a month after being switched from a unit that had rodents. Apparently the district manger does not care about the business as I and the employees of the business have been waiting on a response or correction that only he can address. There have been three separate occasions where emails were sent to the manager from the office employees and i’ve been told i’m going to get it resolved “hopefully today” i’ve been told multiple times. As a result, I have not received the service outlined in my contract, as my code as been deactivated for the entire duration i’ve had the storage. I don’t know how else to proceed but i definitely wouldn’t recommend this location or any in the region if they’re all under the same district manager.

Horrible experience, today we showed up to try an empty the storage and everything was gone including dinning table and dressers, only empty boxes and a couple of clothes was left. The doors and locks were intact, there was only holes inside the storage.

At first I was very happy with my storage I fell on hard times and just couldn't afford it anymore so inside the storage I had my son's death certificate his ashes his funeral pictures in there I was promised that my son be return back because when than sell the storage they suppose to return them never got them back no phone calls and ever time I call nobody answer I'm so hurt.

Broken into regularly. Shoddy security and little communication. Edit: since emptying my unit, I discovered an antique dresser was infected with termites, many items were damaged by water and dirt, and to top it off they continued charging me for it. Calling the manager resulted in nothing until the third call.

If I could give zero stars I would!!! There is absolutely no sense of security at this location. There is no one that patrols the site at all and they don't review camera footage. My unit was broken into and almost everything was stolen. 2 large safes that could not be moved without several people and an appliance dolly were taken along with many other irreplaceable items. These were the belongings of my late father. I thought they were in safe keeping until I could finish dealing with the last of his estate. Boy was I completely wrong!!! I find it hard to believe that no one saw or heard anything at this location which leads me to believe there is an inside job going on there. It would have taken several hours and alot of man power to move what they did, plus be extremely loud in doing so. Alarms go off if you are in there after hours, so that means it was done prior to that. The staff is very non chalant with the too bad so sad attitude. After reading other reviews, I see break ins happen all the time there. When I asked the manager about that, his response was "We can't do anything about that". If you don't want your items stolen, I strongly suggest going to another business because with this place you would have more protection storing your items on the sidewalk with a tarp and a padlock!!

Well I called and got a storage on the phone. I went in there yesterday 4-10-23. David was really nice and polite to me, he walked with me to the storage unit, he told me what was the best locker to use they showed me how to use it. David walked through the whole process with me he made me very comfortable. I really surely tell my friends and family if the looking to move out that for them to go to 1441 baseline in San Bernardino, that they will get the best service there. I have never got the best service before untill I met David. I will continue to use cube smart at 1441baseline, S. B., Cal. In the near future. He's the best. Thank you.

I made a reservation and went in for my storage unit but the employees were all over the place and seemed very unorganized when I arrived I overheard an employee say that a unit of the size I wanted wasn’t available so they weren’t ready when they should have been a lot of storage units also looked like they were broken into and they also had this annoying alarm by the units that kept going off whenever there was movement and it was difficult concentrating with this aggravating alarm that won’t shut off also it was very dark making it difficult to see but will see how things go….

I think I was scammed. I made a reservation for a unit. Hired 2 movers and rented a truck. Went to the unit at my appointment time. There was a sign that said the office was permanently closed and go around the corner to a different office for help. Went around the corner, followed the guy back just for him to tell me the unit I reserved was not available. He didn't have ANY units in that size. But for more money I can get a bigger around the corner at his storage facility.

Currently the exit is broken and has been broken for about a month now. Before that I could say this storage spot is ok. It's not great just average. The weird thing is though,at night, even hours before the closing time(10pm), I put my code in for the gate and drive to my unit and the alarm goes off the whole drive. All around the storage like I'm a thief or something. Lights, sirens, etc. It isn't a good feeling because it could draw negative attention and I am not trying to explain myself to some cops or security for doing nothing except using my own storage. However these are not reason enough to give it a 3 star, but it is close.

This is the worst place to do business. The staff rude and not helpful. Overcharge me for a free month.. After signing the rental agreement I leave to go pick up my truck that was ready to be unloaded to the unit . When I returned it was 501 pm and I realized that my gate code was left in my car. Oh the lady is still here I'll ask her. She said we're closed 3 times and I didn't need to hear that a 4th time . So Iget back in my truck and oh ya the gate opens up. So I head to my unit and here come the office lady screaming get off my property. I was appalled. And looked at her and.said Glady and left ..went to another storage company. Now I call the corporate office file a case to refund my over charged bill as I won't be using it. Further more was kicked out by your employee... Who did not have time to give me my gate code but had the time to chase me off. So no call was returned and the general manager closed the case I opened and kept the stirege bill running so I get a demand for payment letter in the mail for service you never gave me . As a matter of fact I want my money back all of it. And this mgr that you have running things over there you may want to take a look at all the issues. Please handle this befor it escalates. This is the 3 case

Unit was not cleaned out and ready when we arrived. We were paying the movers by the hour and they just sat their while they swept out the unit, costing us additional money for movers. Also, when I signed up for the unit, I paid for two locks as it is a two-door unit. They insisted I only paid for one and charged my husband for an additional lock. They don't even deserve one star. My unit was broken into 6 times in 3 months - every two weeks. They have surveillance cameras that don't work after dark. They know this. They repaired the break-ins the exact same fashion and even after repeated break-ins no changes where made. This outfit lacks even the pretense of human compassion and should be called out as being a front for a criminal enterprise. While they don't inform you at the time of rental - after 6 months they can raise your rent any amount they choose - my increase was nearly $100 - went from $400 to $500. I rarely use this amount of hyperbole but I consider them not just bad, but evil.

This place has the absolute worst service and experience I've ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My unit was broken into and apparently after some investigation, it happens every week. The units have roaches and mice! The staff is rude and treat you like you're a nuisance to them. Overall the worst experience ever, and the price is double compared with others within a 10 mile radius. If I could post signs around the facility to alert any unsuspecting potential customers, I would.

My husband paid for one last month. We paid to have the lock to be cut off. We has to make a schedule for this lock to be cut too. It literally took 4 days for them to figure it out. My husband and I went down to the storage to have a lot cut. We got there 15 minutes prior for our appointment time. We were waiting inside for her to come in to cut it off. We were made to wait for an additional an additional 20 minutes. When the worker was nearby she stopped and started talking to other people who had storages already open. She was there taking her time. My husband got her attention and said we needed to go. We did after all have an appointment and we it took 4 days to get. The female worker got on her golf cart and came to us. I thought she was going to do what we paid her to do. Instead she said that it was a courtesy to cut a lock and then she refused to cut the lock. My husband told her that we had already paid for her to cut the lock. She said for us to get a locksmith of our own to cut the lock instead of her. She said she could very easily refound us the money and then immediately drove off and then disappeared from the site. We were left right there expecting the appointment to happen and for some reason the worker didn't feel like it was her business to do her job. We paid for that specific service with an appointment to get it done and it was not done. This it theft!! They stole from us. Worst customer service ever. This place in never busy. They said they have no staff but there is 3 people on site. ??

My unit gets broken into and the customer service is horrible and I really believe the workers are in on the break ins, they are so nonchalant about the break ins to not be apart of them, and all they do is suggest you increase your insurance smh. I will be making a police report this is ridiculous. I wish uhaul wasn't full I would have went there instead. DON'T RENT FROM THIS PLACE!!!!

Horrible, wish I could put negative star's ?. Go to the waterman location. Started the first day. Was told there were no units available, called the 800 #. They sent me back there. This location has Bad customer service. Lock was cut 4 days of moving in, they broke the drywall on both sides of my unit. Stayed one more month. Walls were never repaired, neighboring units not informed of break-in. Had verbal altercation with neighboring unit and was accused of stealing their property.

Prices are expensive but at this point in time cant really complain most other storages are packed. These prices are kinda high after the first 30 days . . Property is clean, they have cameras all over the places so it's safe. 1) Seems rain proof, but definitely NOT RODENT PROOF! Huge gaps in the bottoms of the "locked door" sections. Not happy with that. 2) Building is concrete and steel. Why am I forced into paying extra for insurance? Just another revenue stream. 3) Forced into buying "their" lock while I have heavier duty. Hmm, another revenue stream. 4) Saw truck with BIG "FREE" sign. Yeah, free, oh, except for the $140 up front money, $40 of which goes to "admin" fee. I don't care how you cut it, that is NOT free. 5) They get 2 stars because it IS a place to store stuff.

I was here yesterday to get a storage unit and both the online reservation and in person interaction was great. They had the best rates in the area had plenty of options and didn’t push on sales or getting a larger unit like other places do. I received a call promptly after I completed the online reservation for the unit and spoke with Ashley. She was very polite and very informative on the phone. I was lucky to also get to talk to Ashley in person when I came in and we decided I did needed a bigger unit once I seen it, I don’t have much to store but more than I thought. (she was right, I was wrong lol) she knows what she’s talking about! Great experience with CubeSmart from start to finish! I’m happy I decided to go with them. Ashley was awesome! So nice, informative, kind and just welcoming. True made my day! She was so kind to also give me a few boxes and a cover at no cost. I can’t tell you how much that made my day as I’ve been having a tough time and yesterday was exhausting to say the least and this awesome lady totally turned my day around and put a huge smile on my face. We’ve been having our unit for almost 5 years now. Today we went over to get Christmas decorations..... turns out that someone broke the wall from another unit andbrole into ours. They took over $12,000 in stuff (stereos, amplifiers, bikes, princess house, Tupperware, toys, and many more items)!.. turns out that they can’t pay any of it back, because of the insurance they offer. All they where able to do was patch The wall back up with plywood!. They don’t have cameras to see who did it or to even protect the property they only have them for the office!.... The rent for the units are over $100 a month, and they don’t even protect anyone’s things. If you are searching for a unit I recommend you search elsewhere.

We have had our storage for 5 months now. I lost my job and had a hard time paying. I went in to make a $100 payment. Was told they dont do partial payment. The total was $168 because the new bill had posted. That, I had til the 13th of Novemeber to make the full payment or they would start the auction process. For the last 2 days, I've been trying to make the payment. I 1st tried over the phone through the automated system. 2nd, over the phone was the storage themself, however, everytime I called NO ONE ANSWERED. I have no car, so I needed to make it over the phone. Customer care even tried calling them during business hours and never for ahold of them. So, they sent an email asking for someone to call me. No one ever did. So, I kept calling and finally CS got through. Margarita, who was very rude told me they will not take calls or payments over the phone anymore because they are to busy running to storage buildings. If your to busy to take a call or a payment so we dont lose our stuff then we will be going elsewhere because of the horrible customer service MARGARTIA provided.

Since I moved from San Diego my fiancé and I have been looking for a place to store some of our belonging. He wasn’t to keen on the idea of a storage unit but the employee, Jose, at this location was very friendly. By the time we left he felt comfortable about the moving our belonging into CubeSmart. We plan on stopping by to sign our agreement and move our stuff in, in the upcoming weeks.

Stopped by here in looking for a storage unit a few days ago. The units were very clean and spacious (for a pretty good price too!). The staff was very helpful and courteous, Lynda was very attentive in answering my questions. Definitely considering their location.

Stopped in with my dad to check on the unit he has here. The facility was neat and the people were helpful. I'm moving to the area soon and will have to store some things and I'll definitely be renting here. Convenient, clean, and a decent location.

I HIGHLY DISLIKE THE CUBESMART!!!! I have been robbed more than once in the storage I rented and I'm definitely getting the remaining of my stuff and leaving! Please do not go there because they will not keep your stuff safe

This company has a por system for providing good customer service. They calim that they will remind you via e-mail to pay a payment. They in fact do nto send out reminders. Then they will charge an outrageous amount in late fees. The claim they try to contact you, but no messages are left. They will also charge to make a payment online and charge to bill you wiht a paper bill to your physical address. To top it all they raised my rent and did not even notify me that they were doing so and this was just 6 months after I had my things put in this property from another strage property. I woudl find another place to put your things. Migh rbe a good deal at first but then they screw you
