I have multiple storage units throughout the Bay Area for convenience. This unit was the best prices around and it was easy securing the storage unit. The unit was ready, clean and the staff were helpful and friendly. Email and text communications were ????????. The app looks very easy to navigate. So far, so good!

Do NOT put your stuff in storage here. 2 days after I moved in, they redid the hatches and cut my 23$ lock off without my consent or notifying me. I never did get refunded for the lock I bought nor did they replace it. I got a text while in South America to “come pick up my *keys*. I was only storing while traveling for a total of less than 2 months & my unit was broken into. The new improved hatches are not secure apparently. Or it was an inside job. They obviously don’t do their required daily walk through or they would have seen my unit had been trashed & half of it was in the hall. Then when on phone with manager she completely snapped and started talking all crazy, saying stuff like “calm down, calm down!” I wasn’t even raising my voice and she put on this whole psychotic narrative that I was “disrespecting” her when I told her I wanted a refund for the month I had prepaid for. This place is a NIGHTMARE x 10. I hope the popo bust TF out of whomever did this, they left the tool they used to break in behind, so hopefully they left prints.

This is a heartbreaking ordeal, and it must not be allowed to happen to anyone else. We had rented a unit for a few months, and when they increased their prices, we decided to downsize. We drove from San Diego to move from one unit to another, battling the extreme heat, which restricted us to only a few hours of work each day. On the last day, we pushed through and did most of the heavy lifting. At 9 AM, a worker we had never seen before started harassing us, repeatedly throughout the day, even threatening to call the police because we were resting between loads. Despite my call for her to go ahead, she did not, because she had no grounds. It became a personal vendetta for her, and between 9 AM and 8 PM, she visited us multiple times (7-8 times), threatening us and claiming she had given us opportunities to leave which we didn't take. This harassment was particularly cruel as I had just finished chemotherapy and needed to take breaks. When I explained this to her, she laughed in my face and became even angrier with my wife, who simply asked what we had done wrong. Her only response was delusional and racist remarks. We managed to leave by 8 PM. However, when we arrived in San Diego, we discovered that this woman had terminated our lease without any valid reason. They falsely claimed we had stayed overnight, which we did not. We have receipts for our hotel stays, but they claim to have proof, which is impossible and fabricated. The black ladies in the office have always been sympathetic, kind, and loving souls. This white lady, however, was someone we had never seen before and was the most horrible and sad person I have ever encountered. This happened on Friday, June 14th, 2024. We were asked to vacate by the 28th of the same month. We are struggling to gather our belongings due to the significant expenses incurred from our previous trip, and my husband has fallen ill again. We are being unjustly evicted based on the lies of a woman who harassed us and treated us with contempt because we stood our ground as paying customers. How can someone with so much hate and apathy be allowed to work here? This situation is both heartbreaking and unacceptable. We demand justice and call for actions to ensure this never happens to anyone else.

There was a weekend fill-in person working at this location on Saturday June 2nd. We went to the Lemon St. office which is wrong. That is not the *main* office. It’s a block down the street. The website should correct this. The area is a *bad* part of Vallejo, sketchy but there is a gate and lots of people storing valuable tools. My movers felt it’s secure due to that fact. The unit wasn’t the cleanest, but she offered to sweep it out, we put down blankets beneath the items. I asked about rats and she said *kinda no* but it’s a storage facility….anywho, there was rat bait in the hallway when I returned. The lady was professional & courteous even though she was swamped & seemed to be the only employee on site. It was hot AF and no air conditioned units (which is what I thought I reserved) the unit wasn’t hot but mid-temp . I assume the cool nights keep it under control for interior units, can’t speak to the others. I only intend to store for a month, so much of this is irrelevant to LT storage. I will say to read the fine print, you must pay for insurance or have your declaration certificate with you. Within that fine print is a list of covered items followed by non-covered items. One non-covered item is *mysterious disappearance* which I question the legality of this terminology. It almost seems as though it removes all liability due to theft

I had met with Tanya who worked there and made a plan to rent a unit. She was very helpful and friendly. However when I called a few days prior to confirm my plan, I was met in the phone with completely unprovoked hostility from a women who refused to provide her name and became upset for me merely asking for it. Such a lame experience.

I can’t say that I was treated nicely. The person there yelled at me for asking what happened to my two locks when they replaced the door lock without letting me know. All I asked was if they cut the locks and they went crazy.

I had been looking for a storage facility for my mom for a bit now. I found the Vallejo Cube location and decided to take a look. I had two other options, but I quickly made up my mind after I had the pleasure of talking to Tonya and Jay in the office!! The two of them were very knowledgeable, helpful, and super friendly! Tonya and Jay made me feel like I was family which ultimately caused me to sign on the line and swipe my card!

No Leasing office on premises and website didn’t say anything about it. I had to make calls until I found someone to help! ( customer service) there was no welcome to kit as stated! When the leasing office finally called back he was rude and I was told that’s why we have you come down to this office. Very poor service !

Don’t store anything here or do business with Cube Smart. My cargo trailer with 20k in tools was stolen. Completely locked up with multiple hitch locks. Office manager was of no help. Made excuses that lots of people had access to the gate and not willing to review video. Doubt the camera system even works. Only resolution is with personal insurance.

Rented here for 15-20 years, never missed paying rent, no problem when it was B&B Storage. Shortly after Cubesmart took over, I was told to vacate. No problem, I'm gone. If this is how you treat a loyal, dependable customer.... Well, it's your business, but I have no plans to return.

While so far so good n i haven’t yet move in my belongings yet . Just what CubeSmart offer and their thoughtfulness to the customer that there was no hassle to as much as times you can come in or out or have a time frame to be there . Like most storages facilities of only one or two hours the most to stay. WTH is that kind of service and having to get your belongings and only have a one visit policy. That why I search for a no limits or time frame in one day to come n go as you please and stay as long as you want to organize and take inventory or just know your personal belongings you pay monthly to used and of course not to sleep over or spend the night. Only someone with the purpose or has no other options cause they have no where to go might seem to take that advantage but most all do not expect to use a storage for that reason . It’s is understandable so if that person besides needed a place to rest there head or get out of the cold and just to feel safe if the situation was they was homeless. For all the rest who thinking bout their belongings be taken cause of such person only intentions to do . Therefore we have insurance to handle that kind of situation and still feel comfortable even if are belongings are locked up . I believe it good have insurance when renting a storage unit to have that comfort . Regardless what type of surrounding it my be. Thank for having me as one of you costumer and I haven’t experienced yet not to be true about your service yet . Yet to know for sure but the sale pitch was good for me to try and see. LOOK FOR ANOTHER STORAGE PLACE! Unless you want your trailer broken into! My husband and I had a bad feeling about storing our trailer here but this is the only place close by or you’ll have to go over the bridge. We thought because it’s a secure area that we were secure….NOPE! We went to the storage to find out it had been broken into with lots of items stolen. Apparently there had been a few break ins a month ago but we didn’t even get a courtesy phone call saying to check your belongings, there’s been break ins. You will save time and money finding another storage unit. Not to mention they raised monthly rates without informing us either. If I could give it ZERO stars I would!

Stay away from this location. Ever since cube smart has taken over they have raised monthly rental fees without improvements. It’s actually the opposite of what should happen. The services have declined and they are raising rates they should be offering rate reductions or discounts since the services being paid for aren’t there. I have mouse droppings all over my unit. Horribly bad and now they want me to pay more? Pay more for a non working gate and mouse droppings? The gate hasn’t worked for months giving anyone access even if you don’t have a unit. No one is checking any one going in. They slapped new paint on the buildings and are charging $50 more than I paid with previous more responsible and honest owners. I am appalled at the price now and I suggest anyone looking at this location to look else where. This place is ridiculous. I would put 0 stars but I have to put one. I’m sure nothing will happen except some standard message they will send saying how sorry they are and want my info to look into it. There are multiple complaints here. It should of already been looked in to.

This Cubesmart is in a bad area with no cameras and the gate is always open during business hours, no security. The person in the unit next to me stuff was stolen. They have a rodent problem and they keep raising the rent.

Once cubesmart took over they cut staff so no office people were onsite and they also have not had an on site live in person for the past many months . So our trailer, also my with many other units onsite were broken into . When I asked when that could have happened , they said it would probably have happened in the last 2 weeks. 2 weeks! Are you kidding me ! Also their automatic gate was inoperable for the past many months leaving the gate manually open during business hours and has not been fixed yet! This means anyone can come and go as they please with no personnel onsite except for a drive by in a golf cart which came from another cubesmart location around the corner. We had the trailer there for a year and no problems started happening until cubesmart took over. Plus they raised the monthly fees with no improvements. There is another cubesmart closer to our home that we heard from our insurance company gets broken into on a regular basis. So until they improve their operations I would Stay away from this place and most cubesmart locations!

Attention action buyers! Doing lots of auctions. Got a manager's special unit here these days, and had to clean up bags of garbage, old paint and used oil cans, although the dumpster at the property is right next to the unit. Very bad experience. It's not the best storage in town that's for sure, but seems to be pretty secure, watch if you drive in there were alot of nails and screws laying on the ground. They only allow you to enter up until 7pm and if your locked in there 1 minute past you will be charged $50 on next bill.
