We recently moved out of this CubeSmart location after being a customer since 2018, we first started with a smaller unit then upgraded to a larger unit after selling our home in 2021, we now have a house large enough for all our belongings so a storage unit is no longer needed. In all the years here, we never had any issues, thankfully!!! Every time I came in to make my monthly payment they’re customer service was always great, these last two years, I’ve had the pleasure of having Yvonne take care of me, she was always so friendly, always asked if we needed anything when visiting our unit, if we needed bug spray or a sweep, which we only needed once and she took care of that too, excellent service, thank you Yvonne!!! I would definitely recommend this location!!!

All my valuable things were stolen by them, rent for 7 years has been rising in price, from more than 80 to $175, the result of valuable things are gone, about more than ten thousand dollars ?? is not worth, A dozen large plastic boxes, bought at Costco, all stolen. The box is placed in the most inside, the bottom, they took all my things out, one by one, the valuable things are all stolen, and then tidy up a good pile back, too hurt ?? door locks are the original look...... It's normal. There's no sign of a thief! recommend don’t to rent the warehouse ??

I have been with cubsmart at the 301 Lemon creek Dr Walnut, c.a 91789, well over 10 years. I was at this location before it was cubsmart, back when it was U-store-it, at that time there was a rude manager who was not professional whatsoever, but that manager was there shortly, after that manager someone came along that iny mind deserved any salary that he wished, his name was Bill Warden, and he showed me not only the best customer service but a very social inclined individual that you can have a good dialogue with, I got to know Bill well enough for being a customer. I have to tell this story in order to get to here in am now. I tried to come in yesterday 08/06/2024 to physically pay my bill at the office where my unit is located at. I came to find out that sometime ago, business hours for the office has changed and they were closed on a TUESDAY, so I left. I came back today on 08/07/2024 to try to pay the bill to my unit once more as for whatever reason, cubsmart charges their customers a 7.99 processing fee to pay online and over the phone as well. When I did show, whoever was supposed to be at the office was not there and a sign said they would be back by 11:45 am, so I waited in my car since I was not about to waste my time and had to come back when someone is actually in the office. A female approached me waiting in my car by the front office, asked me if she could help me and I asked if she was going to open up the office since I'm trying to pay my bill, she said yes and we proceeded from there. When we came in we exchanged information to find my account in the computer, when she told me what the total was I asked her how much the late fee was and it happen to be 47.50, that didn't seem right as a late fee, when I had paid before a late it was perhaps $35. And I told her why was I asking about the late fee amount, i wanted to make sure I wasn't being charged incorrectly. She said that I could set up an auto pay to avoid late fees and a 7.99 processing fee for over the phone and online payment, I told her no thank you I can pay when I'm able to pay, and it's not always going to be the same day I will be paying. She started taking liberties on personal level by telling me as to what I need to do. She then proceeds to to tell me that I shouldn't ask a question if I don't want to hear an answer. She was telling information that I didn't need, so I simply asked her to process my payment as I'm not interested in getting fto know this employee on a personal level whatsoever. Her approach on how to handle a situation was petty and condescending, not once did she offer an apology to her comments, I thought maybe she would have recognized what she told me, but no she was very confident in her statements. She told me I was a know it all, I have never been so disrespected at this business like with this employee/ manager. I don't know her name or when she arrived but her conduct is inexcusable, I came in to pay my bill, that is all. I will be filing a complaint with corporate. I would no longer be recommending this location to anyone. I would give this business zero stars if it was possible.

I was moving units from a 5X9 to a 5X12 but when I started moving my things into the new unit I realized it was smaller. The onsite manager took my word of this and asked for the measurements of the new unit. Seeing that I lost 15 sq feet she reached out to her supervisor and told me to just lock up the units and she will contact me when she hears back from here supervisor. When I heard back they told me that they will be giving me a climate control unit 6X10 for the same price as the 5X12. They also gave me an additional 2 days to do the move and didn’t charge me extra for my stuff being in the old units. Very happy with the accommodation and very approachable manager. Been here since 2020 and don’t plan to go anywhere else. Love the upkeep, security, and surrounding area.

No matter what promotion you sign up for when you rent here, they will eventually increase to your monthly to a point where your overpaying for what you have. I’ve been here for a little over a year and it’s nice to have my things safe but if your looking for any difference between this storage and the others, there isn’t much. Once again I have that feeling that I need to either downsize my storage or find another place. It will never make sense to me how your rent would increase if what your paying for hasn’t changed. The only conclusion I can come up with is they are trying to keep people from staying too long. With the holidays coming up this was a terrible time for my monthly rate to go up. I have a week vacation coming up, I’ll likely be spending a couple days out of that trying to downgrade or get rid of all my belongings to avoid the increase. Also, make sure you use the restroom before you come here. The person who lives on site comes out whenever they feel like it to open the restroom and no one is in the office most of the time…so make sure you also have a good relationship with the Del Taco employees across the street. They are the closest restroom. Happy holidays. Update 8/13/24 : I recently inquired about a smaller unit and made sure that there was availability on the website before I decided to downgrade. I proceeded to look into the size I was comfortable with and talked to the property manager. She proceeded to tell me that size wasn’t available. Not only that but there was only two sizes available at that facility when on the website it has 7 available sizes ready for move in. That was really odd. Even after insisting there was available units. The manager started questioning if I was looking at the right location and that I should call the other location nearby. I called them and of course they didn’t have what I wanted. I then proceeded to order the unit online to see what would happen. It was a success I got a confirmation to move in. Then I received a phone call from the property manager. She sounded frustrated but still claiming they didn’t have that unit although I got a confirmation email to move in as soon as the next day. Something suspicious is going on with this company. Either they fake the units they have available on the website as a scheme to get customers. Or the property manager was lying because she’s mad I left a honest review about how my experience is here. Maybe she didn’t wanna lose money because I was downgrading to a smaller storage. Who knows.

Amazing Facility!!! Never in 7+ years did I have an issue with the Lemon Creek property. Very Secure. Never a lot of traffic in and out. No break ins or theft activity- very secure gate and locks. Why Owner doesn't hire overnight & 24/7 security men? I have been in places where owner hire dif. Shift of security men 24/7 @dif. Angles of their bus. Either block their truck in main entrances n all dif gates w/ camaras accesses! With carried guns, so if thieves approach they will first get signaled / flashes of humongous truck lights then ran them away!!! They have no choices than run away! Securities accessing all points angles with cameras! That's the only way to go owner! N CK backgrounds of each of your employees n gps, don't just take any recidivist, have u installed camaras at all points? Why not?! don't enjoy the hard earned money of peo doing nothing!!!!! N build some indoor compartments with high surveillance teams walking around pls!!!!! ????????????????????

I have rented a unit from cubesmart for over 5 years. In general, the store managers I have encountered have been courteous and informative. I am moving out now and I must remark that John, the current manager, is the first to really go the ‘extra mile’ to make sure my move out is efficient and hassle free. John listened to my concerns, helped me replace my inoperable lock and generally gave me some really great tips on how to make my move out smoother. John is a ‘attentive and focused professional,’ he made me feel that my belongings have and will always be secure.

A gentleman named Bill is there in the CubeSmart Walnut office to guide you and answer you any questions you might have for renting a space for storage. He patiently explained all my repeated questions because this was my first time renting a storage space. He took me to tour a few different type of storage units so that I could decide the best one for my needs. He also showed me different options to pay for the storage so that I could get the most for what I paid for. His personally so calms you down that meeting and talking with someone like Bill in the midst of my chaotic moving situation helped me mentally as well! Strongly recommended :)

This was a great find when I needed a new home for my things. The GM Bill is so helpful every time I’ve been here and really does a great job in making everything so easy. No hassle to rent and no hassle to end the rental either. The location is really great, it’s safe and also not a lot of oncoming traffic. Plenty of space to move for trucks or cars. Highly recommend!

I was in the processing of moving to a new apartment, so I needed a short-term unit to store my items before the move. I luckily found a first-month free promo and applied it to my first month. Aside from that, I love the flexibility in the month-to-month rental terms that CubeSmart offers. The move-in and move-out process was also a breeze! I did have a couple of questions throughout my rental experience but I was always happily assisted by either Bill or Vanessa. I highly recommend!

Cube smart at lemon Creek city of Walnut is a great place to rent storage from, this facility it is very clean and well maintain. The restroom facilities are very clean. The unit I rented was very clean and he asked if I needed boxes or locks or any another storage supplies, they are available for purchase. I would never recommend this place of business to store your life belongings, my sister was not even there for two months when her things began to go missing. When she was making the report out with the police she asked if there were any other reports made from this place, the police men immediately said yes! and that there were more then what she imagine. This is why I say shame on the owner knowing all of this happening in his place of business and not taking action in making the business place more secure for all the customers belongings and safety. And for the way things happened I have to say it seems like it's an internal issue and it will continue to happen unfortunately. This business does not deserve any stars, Really bad management! Very disappointed!

At the time I came in they were about to close in 5 minutes, but Bill was so friendly and helpful, it seemed like he still had lots of time to help me. Clean and safe storage location at this Cubesmart in Walnut! Wow I have been looking to consolidate some things and was surprised at the yet smaller tucked away storage location here with the big beautiful easily accessible units. Everything was clearly to the standard of cleanliness we should receive in a time of such fear of this Covid 19 contagion which makes me feel like this place cares. Natalie was so helpful here and gave me all the answers I needed quickly and deserves the time for me to spread the word...not the germ like Cubesmart. I briefly met the onsite manager which seemed to be busy, but was quite a gentleman...and if someone doesn't rent the unit I am debating on first I am sure I will shortly get to know him on passing. Thanks for being there for me and my storage needs during this difficult time.

When I finally went in, he showed me where my storage room was and how to use the elevator. He showed me my lock and everything was prepared. I went public storage recently and rented a storage unit there but when I took a closer look I realized I could actually see through to the unit next to me, and I just didn't feel like it was very secure, so I cancelled it and returned to CubeSmart. The units are definitely more secure here and cost less.

Worst place to rent a storage unit from, I didn't know till after I moved my stuff in that they have a big problem with break ins, I saw in my section alone, about 30 doors with major damage from break ins, and my unit after only 2 weeks being there, someone took the door off its hinges and entered, and yes, the door hinges are on the outside of the door, another terrible idea. Overall I say go some place else, extra space is good, public storage is good, any where but here.

I had to get a storage unit that day. They closed at 6:00 pm, so I called and ask if they would wait an extra 5 minutes for me. They said no problem and waited for me. I was actually 15 minutes after closing time. Then I had made my reservation at the wrong store. When I went to the store my reservation was made I found out that they were not open the hours I needed. The manager of that store called the store I was at to begin with and told the manager I was going to go back. A good 45 minutes had passed after their closing but the manager waited and rented me the storage unit I needed. This was exceptional considering the day before the I had made a reservation at the storage etc. down the street. They told me that they stop renting there units at 530pm even though they are open till 6:00. They told me that I had to come back the next day. I not even going to talk about public storage. I just will say that they are dishonest and really have no concern for there customer. They are greedy and all you are there is money to make their executives have bigger houses, fancy cars, expensive vacations. I hope you will never have to find out the hard way that what I am saying is true. if you have your storage there find a place like cube smart and get out before its to late. Thank you cube smart on Lemon Creek in Walnut, you are tops with me. I am looking for a long relationship. MH

We’ve had our storage unit here for years and we have no complaints about the place. We really like how Yvonne manages the place. Every time I go there by myself it is always clean and safe. I went to this location to check it out because I needed room to put my extra things. Jerry in the office explained the whole process to me really well. He was very thorough, and not only did he answer all my questions, he also gave me advice based on his many years of experience in the industry. He didn't pressure me to make a sale, and he was very patient and easy to talk to. I felt very comfortable at this location and so I ultimately decided to rent my storage space here. Thanks, Jerry! UPDATE: I got a new apartment and so I no longer need extra storage. All in all, these last six months have been great. I always felt safe going in and out of the building and always felt secure with my belongings. The facility is also clean and well-maintained, and the staff members were all super friendly and helpful. It was a great experience, and if I need storage again I wouldn't hesitate to use this location again. Thank you, everyone!

This is a long overdue and well deserved "hats off" to this facility and the people who manage it. We have been using the storage unit for the past couple of years and are totally pleased with both the area and the people who care for it and us. The two we've dealt with, Bill and Jerry, are so very helpful, efficient, polite and respectful in their dealings with us. We have an inside cubicle and find that the halls are swept and clean, and the lighting is all working, which is important when loading and unloading. I would definitely recommend this storage company, and especially the Walnut facility. GR

Went there this morning to check out units for possible rental. Have had units @ Un-afilated facility in Pomona for dcades, and like it there, but... CubeSmart (this facility) is above and beyond clean, for a storage facility. The Rental Associate Bill was Polite, friendly, answered all my questions, and was well groomed. Although their units are priced lower than local competitors, they require that you purchase insurance for the units, which brings the price up to the local average, but hey, you got insurance for ur stuff. I did end up leaving with keys for a unit. Thanks Bill ??

Ever since the management changed this place has gone down hill service wise. Phone calls not being answered or returned, office is like a ghost town. I am sure the managers are very nice if you could ever get ahold of them. Prices increase to the point that they are getting close to overpricing themselves out.

It's fine. Prices were okay too. We had a small room in the upstairs of one of the buildings. I have to say the upstairs needs ventilation. It's very hot and stuffy so be aware of this before you pack in there and also of your health when working hard up and down those stairs with no ventilation. I did report that to them. At least they need to install some ceiling vents and fans to vent out that air. I thought I'd pass out up there.

Bill was very friendly and helpful. He explained everything I needed to know and it was a fast efficient process. Edit: Everything in my unit was stolen maybe 2 months after signing up here. Paid for "upgraded" lock. Thieves picked the lock, stole stuff then put lock back. No surveillance footage for indoor area. Insurance however did cover at least some of it. Pretty dissapointing but the employees there at least tried to be helpful.

I went there thinking it was going to be a bad day and a long one because my mom was picky but the second I got there and said my name, Jerry Machuca (one of the managers) actually remembered the whole conversation from 24 hours back he then asked me how many rooms I had in my house and gave me the best way to go about my move with advice and a tour of the storage unit and I'm glad he did, but on top of that his professionalism matched his enthusiasm and ambition to have us sold as satisfied customers, he had to be one of the most friendliest managers I've ever got the pleasure of having let serve me and he assured us that there was always going to be somebody around to answer questions and help and that's when he introduced us to Bill Warden ( another manager) who was just as helpful, this is my storage company for life!!!
