The stores policies regarding onboarding does not match what was indicated on the stores SpareFoot page. Specifically they do not have contactless onboarding as stated on SpareFoot. This caused some initial confusion and later extra expense as I had to plan for an extra day at a hotel in order to allow time to finalize the rental in their office.

Love my experience so far. There are two managers on site in the office and they both are extremely helpful. Both Gina and Nicole are terrific in welcoming me as a new customer. Location is very congested and dirty, there are auto repair centers and parked cars everywhere making it difficult almost impossible to drive a truck to place items in and out of storage unit. It is not a gated facility but open to outside traffic, the location is not ideal for a storage facility, and the rate goes up every 6 months or so.

We were received by Miss Nicole Lopez at the Fairway drive location. She was so wonderful as far as customer service goes. As soon as we got there , we felt so welcomed and at ease. Miss Lopez was extremely friendly and so professional with her approach. Explained every detail with regards to the rental agreement. Showed us the location of the unit and what to expect from their services. All I can say is she was positive from the start to the beginning. The price for the unit was also fair compared to another company we were using. Thank you very much Nicole and Cubsmart.

Would give zero stars if I could. Worst place to go to. Avoid at all costs unless you want to get bullied and ran out of your unit then get ripped off and terminated with no remaining balance paid back to you. Manager is rude and tries to find any reason to terminate you after you pay to pocket your money. Has amenities that you will not get (like free WiFi) or be charged $60 for a small trash bag worth of st (free bag of trash to be thrown out but theypppppppppp

They don't have push carts or little flat beds to get your stuff to the car to storage and from storage from your car.... the one down the street does. The staff is nice but made it clear you will get arrested if you stay after hours.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My parents passed away last year and I no longer needed to be in a big house that made me sad so I decided to put everything in storage and travel while I figured out where I want to live. I had just moved my stuff in only there for a month, and one night I was a few minutes late getting out because I couldn't find my lock. My gate code didn't work and while I was figuring out what to do, a guy walked by and said I would need to call the police to get out and then he disappeared. I thought he worked there or was stuck too.. I called customer service who gave me a temp code for the gate which I used to exit. Next day manager calls and terminates my contract, gives me 10 days to move, and suspends my access. She said I could only move out during office hours and if I wasn't out by the deadline I would be subject to "holdover rent" which is 2x the rent on my contract. Reason being is that 9 units were robbed while I was stuck at the facility and apparently I was on camera talking to the thief. I tried to reason with her over the phone and in person but she wouldn't listen and just walked away while I'm talking to her. I had to move all my stuff from a 3br house all over again when I didn't even have access evenings and weekends. It made my life hell and I had 2x the moving expenses, had to take additional time off work, injured myself scrambling to get my stuff out, and was completely exhausted. I have called the main customer service number to discuss. A district manager was supposed to call but no one ever did. The whole experience has been awful and I would never recommend cubesmart to anyone ever. Stay away

In the beginning I loved cube smart they were a answer to my prayers. I really truly appreciated them. But I was recently locked in cause I lost track of time and was 15 minutes late to exit. I slept in my car and the next day got a call saying that 11 storages were Brocken into and that my contract was terminated. I spoke to another lady and she told me it wasn't the first time her storage was broken into. Why am I getting blamed for something I didn't do... Not only that I guess these storages get broken to all the time.

I rented a parking space while I was out of the country, Car was there a week, one week, and they told me they were no longer offering parking. I mean why did they even rent me the space. I had to go go crazy to get somebody there to move the car. Ridiculous.

This place doesn't deserve your business! Since taking over from Fairway storage, our RV has been broken into 3 times, resulting in over $500 worth of property loss and a lot of hassle. There have been many issues, like vehicles parked permanently in the roadway, broken gate, etc. There is NO customer service, NO response to questions or concerns. We got no response when we inquired about blocked roads and no concern when we reported break-ins. The greatest move is that they gave us a lame excuse that they can no longer store RVs due to construction. They only gave us 10 days to remove our RV. It's very difficult to find storage space in southern California. Just another example of their unprofessional operation, lack of concern for the customer. All of the RV spaces are now filled with cars. A quality business would just be honest with customers and give them more notice to remove their vehicle.

Just transferred to a bigger unit and on my second trip the cylinder lock wouldn’t come out so I couldn’t open the lift gate to get into unit. When I contacted the manager he said there was nothing he could do to help. While I was trying to get the lock out I had the displeasure of meeting the tenant of the unit two doors down who was ever so helpful with her array of burglary tools as well as a ladder that hangs from the tops of the walls and allows her access to the adjacent units. Apparently there are people living in some of the units and after hours is a free for all with no security and as the girl was eager to inform me that there is also no cameras. This is regarding the units that are outside the security gate which apparently have zero security features. Needless to say I will be demanding a refund today and taking my business elsewhere

Alex was very accommodating and very professional throughout our initial encounter and initial processing of our rental agreement. He was very helpful and explains the details of the agreement and the facility. Besides the ongoing construction, the facility is well kept. Also, one minor issue with the facility is that it is surrounded by other business. I notice vehicles that has been sitting in the lot blocking the entrance to our selected storage. This is confirm by the collected dust on the vehicle and cob webs under the vehicle. I wish the facility would enforce parking rules not to allow vehicles in the premises not to park more than 72 hours. Overall, the facility is great and would recommend it.

Stopped by this weekend with my husband at this CubeSmart to take a look at some storage units in the area since we are new to Walnut and are needing some storage needs. Alex, the General Manager of the property went above and beyond to make sure we secured on what we what needed. They are stocked as well with moving supplies in the office. The facility is tucked away and a lot of on going construction on Fairway drive but the customer service makes up for it. Clean and secured facility. I would recommend this storage facility. Andrew was super welcoming and gracious even when we showed barely 10 minutes to closing (we got lost due to construction going on). Even though the construction can make it a little off putting, once you find the correct route it’ll definitely be easy enough to find again. Times are tough during a global pandemic..the professional staff at this and every location thus far make it a lot easier! If I wrote as many reviews about the staff here that they deserved it would be a full time job! In particular for the manager Alex Suberville today and his outstanding job in service and due diligence as he preformed his daily checks of the units. I was impressed when I interrupted his duties to stop him mid aisle as he greeted me I inquired about maybe a larger unit and he knows this place what is available and the pricing like the back of his hand! Not to mention has been here essentially almost if not since the beginning of the Covid-19 and to him and all of the other brave, resilient, dedicated staff that are here for me without reducing hours I wish to say that you have my upmost respect and gratitude. My warehouse #513 5/30 expires (Address: 985 Fairway Dr Walnut, CA 91789), when I said on 5/31 and the warehouse management staff that I would move out of the warehouse on 6/1, can I deduct a week's rental fee. He also promised me to try to refund the rental fee after moving out of the warehouse. However, I After moving out on the morning of 6/1, he responded to me because I paid the monthly fee and could not refund my rental fee. If I was told at the beginning that the rental fee could not be refunded, I could choose to move out before 6/30. Now I wasted a month of time and expenses. I hope you guys can give me an explanation.

The customer service is excellent. When signing up for a new service, the manager and associates contact you early to discuss your storage needs. I suggest visiting early so you can see if the unit size fits your needs. The manager, Natalie, showed me units in the size I originally requested and one slightly bigger for comparison. These units are NOT climate controlled and it is your basic storage unit. Nothing fancy, just 3 walls, a roof, and a door. It gets dusty and it is very industrial. Entrance to the retail store front is easy with a parking lot. Getting inside the storage facility is a bit trickier. For the price, you get a good value.

Most stress-free and easy storage move in experience! Drove a little ways to get here, but the experience and value made it well worth it. Jenna and Natalie were so sweet and awesome in helping me look at the storage unit and help me with all my needs. The facility has barbed wire fencing, bolted locks, secured gates and LOTS of cameras everywhere, so I feel piece of mind that our stuff will be safe. We're currently in the process of renting out rooms in our house, and we have several boxes of our old items to store. We literally went through nearly a hundred storage companies in the SG Valley, and the best bang for the buck was CubeSmart's 5x8x8 unit. During my "move-in day," the on-site rep there helped me through the process and answered all my questions without sounding too "phony friendly." When I first paid the next month, I met Jenna, the manager, and she was very congenial and a pleasant bundle of energy! We will probably consider getting a larger unit next time. I reserved a storage online and received a call from Natalie within hours. I met with her the next morning, and everything was smooth and easy. She and a younger gentleman showed us the spot, we signed paperwork with their friendly and detail instruction. You can tell that they are very dedicated to their work and they also have very good altitude and it helps because this is my first time rental a storage. The Cubesmart pricing is also very good comparing to Public Storage, but I was told that the rent will go up few months later, hopefully, it would not be that much. Jenna, the manager was also very helpful and these folks do keep their place very secure. I received an email alert from them because when they were driving around, checking out the locks...they found that I had not locked my place probably so I returned the next day and secured the unit thanks to their diligent security work. Overall, the place is very clean, reasonably priced and you can expect great services from its staff.

Thomas at this location was amazing in the customer service he provided when I rented my unit! I say he is a excellent representative for Cube Smart at the location in Walnut. Even when I realized I had left my ID at home and would have to come back the next morning he really was professional had my unit ready to go upon arrival the following day. Now today was a rough one when I showed up for a job I was contracted on only to find out after doing all my preparations to find there was a miscommunication! The job had been canceled...needless to say I was not in a great mood to begin with and decided to put some more items in my unit...well in the true spirit of great service I had the pleasure of meeting Jenna I believe was her name that works at the location...well in a brief moment her smile and friendly demeanor was able to turn my frown upside down. That is a wonderful skill that should take her far in my opinion. The experiences I have had at "other storages" have failed in comparison to the professional, well educated, friendly employees that you have on board at every Cube Smart facility I have visited or had the pleasure of doing business with to date. I want to personally thank you for providing a safe not to mention however I will...clean location for my sentimental treasures and household goods I can't seem to part with yet. I don't know who the hr genius is that does your hiring and/or promotions however kudos to you and whatever hiring method you are using because I know how hard it is to find caring employees to provide the type of quality of service that the staff at your Walnut location have provided in the last few days keeping the bar raised on behalf of your companies namesake. This is the type of experience that may change my plans from renting for 1-3 months into 1-3 years if you keep this up! ha ha Well to whoever reads this I hope you convey my appreciation to your staff there. I have two units at two different storage facilities. This place is fantastic compared to the other, both in price and in convenience. All of the units are ground floor and you can drive right up to the unit. The prices are lower as well. The only negative that we have is that it is not accessible at night. If it was available later, or, even better, for 24 hours, it would be perfect!
