I rented here for the first time because of location, location, location and a good rate. The staff is very friendly and useful, and while the bathroom is clean and accessible it's only available during office hours. The structure of the facility is kind of unique, long and narrow, making some potentially dangerous encounters with other vehicles. Drive slowly!

My husband and I have never used a storage facility but found that Ernest and Dolly were more than helpful. Ernest was very personable and walked us through the process of renting and using the app. He made sure that all of our questions were answered and concerns were satisfied. Although we have other storage facilities closer to us we chose the Cubesmart Maple St location. We would definitely recommend Cubesmart like it was recommended to us.

The worst indoor storage - save yourself and look elsewhere. they don’t have any photos of the indoor units online which is very sneaky because it’s like a dungeon and walls are made of cardboard. the indoor facility is so bad, rundown, and hard to get around. look elsewhere!! and do better CubeSmart Westminster!

The location is good and the office manager was very helpful. The elevator didn’t work and they put me on 2nd floor. I had to carry very heavy boxes one by one up the stairs and hurt my back. I had to call my husband to help. The elevators need to work as a basic service!

The staff at this cubesmart location really helped me out of a bind. I had some trouble with my lock and key (my fault), and they were kind enough to help me fix the lock. I was on a time crunch and needed to close out my unit, and they helped me stay on schedule and handled everything professionally. This facility is clean, well maintained, and safe. Ok The Mgr.is nice and helpful .the unit I rented requires 2 locks and is really dirty .It was pouring when I moved in ,and the freight elevator broke down ,and so I had to hand carry my belongings up stairs to second floor ,where I had a flat bed and handtruck ..my unit leaks and I sealed up the leaks with this spray patch ,will see if it works ,when it rains again.Thanks, Jim

I have a disability and they were very accommodating with me. I like the fact that they absolutely make you have to have insurance which is really good idea, the place has had a facelift and it looks great and their prices are reasonable and they have a lift that you can use if you're up on the upper floors! Although I just started renting there I don't foresee any future problems with them or my unit. Thanks guys!!!

This place is a dump. I'd been there 5 years and it started at $40 and went up to $102. There were termites and droppings all over my things. The ceiling and walls leaked and someone threw rat repellent in my unit without my knowledge as well as having obviously been inside. I'd give it 0 stars if I could.

Ernest and Dolly at the Westminster location on Maple St. were so welcoming and warm. As soon as I reserved a unit they called within minutes. When I arrived I had my lease signed and everything done within 15 min. Ernest drove me to my new unit where I was welcomed with a giftbag when my door was opened. Inside was my brand new lock and keys. I felt like I was buying a house! Ok maybe not a house but it felt like a great match. The office was clean and if your thirsty they'll get you a drink. They walk you through the whole process quickly yet thoroughly. I highly recommend these guys. I have another unit at the cubesmart in Santa Ana on Fairview and Evelyn is so awesome as well. And so funny and kind. #cubesmartifyoursmart!

My experience with Cubesmart was excellent. The gentleman that I spoke to over the phone was very polite and courteous. He was very patient with me for I was making reservations and still having trouble getting my money together. When I had my money together I went to the office and signed the lease. He was very observant about my condition. I'm hadicaped and I was very hot from the mile walk that I just walked to get to the storage facility. He offered me a cold drink to help cool me down. Not to much small talk.. I signed my lease.. Then he took me to see the unit in his golf cart. We got to the stairs leading up to where my unit was located. As I started walking up the stairs I politely asked if there was an elevator. He said no, but there is one for your belongings to come up to the second floor.. I said that was fine.. As were going back down the stairs he stayed a few steps ahead of me, He said he was only a few steps ahead because of in case I would fall, I would fall on him ... Now that is a true gentleman in my books.. 5?? and gladly.. Thank you

Our unit along with about 36 other, were broken into the same night. Security lives on property and claims they hadn’t drove around the storage that night. Security footage was not reviewed by them until the next day because “they hadn’t had time”. Avoid this storage and if you already have items here, keep an eye out and keep track of anything you see missing. I only had my stuff here two months and already got robbed. Reply to owner-I did email same day and never heard back

Unfortunately, the quality of this location has deteriorated. The site is dirty, and there is no cart to unload and load your vehicle. My storage has been broken into twice. The people who use this location are scary at times. The manager is nice and helpful at times.

I'm so glad I found CubeSmart! They honored an awesome rate for a 5'x8' space that I found on a Storage Unit price comparison website. After having to move out of my place in Seal Beach, CA and move back home due to COVID-19 cancelling my in-person classes, things were very stressful. Ernest of CubeSmart Westminster made the process very easy. He is a delight to work with! The facility is immaculately clean and in a nice area. It is extremely convenient. My leather motorcycle jacket h a little tiled cupboard were stolen when they had all of the units opened to repaint. Then, my unit has been broken into on two different occasions. No way to tell what was stolen as they went through & made a mess of absolutely everything. Apparently, there's no cameras inside the buildings so, they are unable to properly secure the units. For the 2 break ins, they said they would check the security footage. For the first break in they kept telling me they would do it, but they never did. I didn't bother with the second one. For the first break in the staff told me the cops wouldn't come out so I waited several days to file a police report. Plus the staff had already touched all over everything putting it back in. When I filed the report, the police told me they would have come out & taken fingerprints but, now it was too late. Reply to owner.... You are already aware of all 3 of these break-ins... we have discussed them & I've let you know of my displeasure over the matter.

Our unit was 1 of 8 that was damaged by a recent fire. To date, we have not been able to access our property to see what is salvageable. We can't file our insurance claim until we can see what is damaged, it's been 11 days since the incident and there is no communication from these people. The manager even went so far to tell us that our property now belongs to the insurance company and is now out of their hands. When we checked with the insurance company, they said that wasn't true. If anything, we learned we should have chosen a storage facility that has fire sprinklers. This place didn't have any and now we are stuck waiting for management to get their act together. Very unprofessional and uninterested in providing any information.

I rolled in at 14 minutes before closing needing a storage unit, I know a little about the industry my parents spent 17 years with Ayers Storage in So. Cal. Most consider Ayers about as good as you can get. But to the point Dolly didn't roll here eye's or make any remarks about the time. She explained the program was as nice as can be and laughed at my bad jokes. The only thing that could have made my experience better would have been Dolly paying my deposit and than taking me out to dinner. She is one of the gems companies need to know about. CubeSmart is the best storage facility I have ever used. I was moving and was in such a bind as I was unable to fit all my belongings in my new apartment. I called around and no one would rent me a storage at the last minute - that is - no one but CubeSmart. CubeSmart's staff was extremely helpful and rented me a very spacious unit at a terrific price! Their units are just wonderful. They are impeccably clean so I don't have to worry about pests creeping in. They also provide me with piece of mind knowing my property is safe and secure. I highly recommend CubeSmart as the place to store your things!

Hidden location but perfect for my needs. Friendly staff. They guy drove me around the storage center and showed me several spaces in person so I could make the best choice for my needs. There is a $12 monthly insurance fee in addition to the monthly rent.

We rent a storage unit with car access at this location -- has been a big help for a move, especially the loaner truck with only $10 admin fee + 79c/mi after 50 miles.

Great location and Dolly as the company's representative gets a 10+ from me. She was both efficient and very professional. Moving is a very stressful event, but within seconds I was very comfortable and happy to sit down after moving all day. The 10pm access to gate was a life saver for me. I just took a unit here today. Dolly and Ryan were wonderful to deal with getting into the unit. They were friendly, efficient, and helpful. I have one very small issue with the $22 administrative fee. It sort of makes "free first month" or "half-price for three months" untrue. I also don't care for the mandatory insurance: Some have homeowners policies that will cover their stored items. In my case, my storage items are not particularly valuable. I think CubeSmart (and the other storage places) are just taking extra profit by requiring their insurance. In spite of the admin fee and mandatory insurance, the total price was excellent. After a full search of about 20 storage facilities in the area, this CubeSmart location had the lowest price I could find. Total cost for my 4x6 was only $50 to get in, $30 for the next two months, then $50 thereafter ... those figures include the insurance and the admin fee. They gave me a great deal. They are at least $10 less per month than the next lowest cost facility, and often they looked to be a full $20 less than other facilities, where I would have been asked to pay $70 per month in total charges.
