Dave was a godsend. Patient, putting up with us during a stressful period, accommodating, and the service did and was exactly what we needed it to do and be. Was easy peasy and as painless as possible. He even let us extend a bit past the first month with a pro-rate as we cut it close to the wire and didn't have to sink another unnecessary month. Places don't have to do that. He did.

I rented a 10 x 5 unit here in 2021- at that time the rent was $89 per month. In not even three years, the rent increased by 65%- I was paying $145 per month starting in January of this year…for a 10 x 5!! No one would ever answer my questions as to why the price had changed so significantly, especially since similar units in the area were still all averaging $80-90 per month so it’s not like the increase was reflecting changes in the market. Also, and while I completely expect that for an “external” unit (door faced the alley in between rows of units) things inside would naturally get dusty/dirty, my belongings were literally filthy when I moved out last month- and not just from dust, but there was a 1/2 inch coating of BLACK powder/dirt on everything and handfuls of cottonwood seeds and leaves piled up INSIDE my unit due to the age of the place and the warped weather stripping on the doors. I Couldn’t imagine paying so much for that kind of facility anymore so not only did I find a newer/cleaner facility (Guardian Storage in Louisville), but I even rented a LARGER unit (10 x 10) for $86 per month. I would not recommend renting here.

I have a college student who was needing to store their vehicle over the summer break. I spent some time looking into different areas between Boulder and the airport and CubeSmart had fairly decent rates - but their selling point was their general manager, Dave. Dave was extremely personable and so incredibly helpful in selecting the appropriate unit, clarifying documents he needed from me, and setting up payment - especially across the miles while we live in Virginia. I will 100% be using CubeSmart in the future for any additional storage needs!

In just three months I came back to find my belongings covered in a thick layer of dirt. Luckily I had a sheet on my mattress or it would have been trashed. I'm worried about my electronics, like my TV, which definitely got dust inside it. Staff was friendly enough, price was alright, but they raised the rent a few weeks in. Would not recommend.

Maybe for the amount your asking someone could actually be in the office on office opening times. The problem is just that no one has helped me set up the possibility to pay online in over a year and i asked a few times for help with that and every single time I come to wanna pay cash and I live 30 miles away no matter to what time I show up there is always a sign that no one is on site and will be back at a certain time. But I sadly don't have much time to wait either do to my job. Will soon just look for a different storage near me because the price has also climbed almost every two months since I have moved in a year ago. Thx for the response

You get a confirmation of quoted rent, but when you sign up, they force an overpriced insurance payment of $12 to $36 a month, with no practical way out. Local operators have no way around it. And the central support line is just a maze of automatic responses, so you’ll never get assistance. Be ready or go elsewhere.

Incompetent and unprofessional. Had my storage unit broken into and very expensive items stolen. I was not notified until several days later. When I asked for further details weeks after the incident, they still did not know when the theft happened, or seem bothered to investigate. I was then told that the insurance I purchased through them would not cover the stolen items. The gate at the front has been broken for weeks and sits wide open for anyone to enter. There are many better storage options in the area with better rates and better management.

I work for a highly reputable and we'll liked moving company and today we were to move a customer's things to this storage center. When we arrived the lady working immediately told us that our company had been banned due to an incident she claimed happened years ago that no one could actually remember. She was extremely rude and was intentionally trying to make it difficult or impossible our customer -who had already bought the storage unit- to actually get her stuff in to storage, something which would have been incredibly easy and quick and have caused no problems for anyone. Instead this company insisted on creating a problem. I would absolutely recommend against using this location

Up till maybe a week ago I would have given this place 5 stars but the way I was treated when I moved out of my unit was horrible! I received a call from warren telling me he had checked my unit after I moved out and it was still dirty and I needed to come back and clean it. Or I needed to lock it back up. I knew I cleaned it out. And I sent an email back stating this well Diane then sent an email stating I could use there broom trash can and dust pan to remove the dirt and debris or I would be getting a $50 cleaning charge. I went up and double checked the unit and it's clean I took pictures to prove it. Told them I will not clean it and won't be back. So I received another email from Diane saying they would put a note on my file refusing to to clean and I have a week to do it. Well the unit is clean why do I need to come back. I highly would not recommend this place unless you plan on scrubbing the unit clean with a mop or they will threaten to charge you as well.

I was in a bind and needed a storage unit for my stuff quickly. I had looked around and browsed reviews of storage centers, and when I came around to this one it seemed that people had nothing but great things to say. And when I went in expectations were met! This was my first time ever purchasing a unit, and it couldn't have gone any better! The process was quick and painless and overall took only about 20 minutes between the time I walked in and the time I walked out with a unit of my own. They have the lowest prices I've found in the area, and I personally feel like any unit here is a steal. I've heard a lot of nightmare stories of storage centers luring people with low rates then increasing the rent within the next month. My rate here has stayed the same from the moment I bought it, which is courteous and honest, hard to find in my opinion these days. Not to mention coming in is always a pleasure as the owners are very kind and always engage in conversation with me, making me feel welcome every time! Extremely happy with Extra Spaces!!!

I just rented a storage unit from Diane and Warren, the on-site managers, and was compelled to write this review, which is my first ever. It is hard to find honesty, friendliness, security and affordability all in one package, but I found it at this location in Broomfield. I have rented many storage units in the past and in 3 different states, so I can say I have seen it all. I have dealt with bad customer service, theft, access issues...you name it. Diane and Warren have restored my faith that there are decent people that still exist in this world. When first walking in the door to inquire about a unit, I was met with two wonderful people who made me feel comfortable immediately (Diane and Warren). I was frazzled from moving and had a bad experience I was dealing with at U-Haul and the pods I had my possessions in at the time. I was concerned about what size unit I needed to ensure my items would fit, and Warren was quick to offer to show me 2 different sizes. I picked the 10x15 at the great price of $150/month (others ran $60 more). The unit was clean and dry which was great considering this was right after the biblical flooding we had. I did not need the unit until the following week, so I was nervous that it may be gone by then, but Diane took the time to tell me how to go about reserving it on-line, which was a breeze. Also that first day I met them, Warren called the owner when I was there to ask if the delivery of the pods could be accommodated and be dropped off right by my unit. By the time I drove 3 minutes home, I got my answer that 'YES", the owner said not a problem. Moving can be so tedious and stressful, but trust me, you will have no reservations once you meet Diane and Warren. The price is excellent, unit and property is very clean and secure, and I have a piece of mind knowing that there are 2 managers that really care about your property like it is there own.

Diane and Warren are great managers of the Extra Spaces storage units. They are alway so helpful and kind and nice. I appreciate their service so much. They've bent over backward to make sure I have what I need. It's like renting from my family. The units are the best price in town and clean. They also didn't get damaged at all by the 1,000-year flood we just had! I'm grateful as I have some family heirlooms in my units. I highly recommend this storage facility. Just know that you can't bring very large moving trucks in. They can't maneuver well around the corners. But, I haven't ever found a storage facility that could accommodate large trucks well. If you have a normal truck or small moving truck, you'll be fine.

These units are filthy, the "managers" are lazy, and they will do anything they can to make sure they charge you a fee when you move out. When I returned to my unit, all of my stuff was covered in dust and dirt, which I cleaned out of the unit. They claim that some of the dirt was left "in front" of the unit ... but where was am I supposed to take this dirt? With me? I paid up everything on time and I've never had an issue with any other storage facility I have rented from, especially when it came to cleaning up after I left. These two are a couple of scam artists.
