I've been renting with this Cubesmart location for close to 3 years now, and I've not had any problems at all during that time. The manager, Jack, is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The property is rather old, and looks it. It could definitely use some remodeling. All in all, it has worked out just as I've needed.

Staff is actually good! Pricing? This place is ridiculous. The plan is to offer storage at a discount... "40% off and first month free" is what i just read on their site. Then when all your stuff is moved in, let the price hiking begin! I moved my things in a small space at around $80/month, I am now at $234! Once that happened, late fee's went from $20 to 20% of the rent ($46)!!. How convenient! So, if you're in a short-term storage situation... maybe this works. Long-term, 9 months-2 years? You will spend thousands! Seriously, thousands!!! The increase increments for rent were $20/month! When I asked the reason for the increase, I was told "to keep up with market pricing per square foot". I'm in mortgage and understand the market and price per square foot! This was simply because they can! They will take advantage of long-term storage clients. Beware!

If I could give negative stars, I would I had a 3 door unit so it needed 3 locks. However, when I arrived after office hours, there were only 2 locks in my unit. Also in less than a month, my unit was broken into and I recieved no call, text or email informing me of what had happened. Only reason I knew was I went to put more items inside and there was a facility lock instead of the lock I had purchased. Update: someone from Cube Smart commented and asked me to email them to discuss what happened. I did, and I've not gotten one response. So it's not only the employees at that location but also the higher-ups that don't care if customers' things are safe and secure. Nice work CubeSmart!

As someone who has rented here for over 3 years and been a decent customer they really let me down. HUGE rent increases meant I paid over 9000 in the time I rented there. There is a lot more to this story too, feel free to contact me- it's too personal to post. Filthy place with money grabbers as owners who raised the rent multiple times even though the place is almost impossible to reach with the ongoing work on Iliff. Would not recommend one bit. There are a ton of other way better options in the region.

Good customer service, & CubeSmart is fine, but my $50/month outdoor unit at the Valentia location came with outside debris all over the things I had stored, spiders & spider webs in the unit, and moisture from adjacent units...I didn't feel comfortable leaving my stuff there for even a month.

If you don't care about your stuff keep it here. We had a unit here for like three months. Was broken into and they stole $6600 worth of valuables. Paid for the insurance from cube smart and they covered nothing. Would advise you look for a different company as this has apperantly happened here before it def seems like a inside job. This place is super sketchy the management seems to be replaced every other month.

Problems with the initial setup for which I recieved a discount on my second month. Manager is not especially friendly. In the 3 months that I used this location, the "automated" gate has been found open at least 4 times when I have come to my unit. Do not recommend this location. Super sketch and isolated. I was keeping my deceased mother's effects in my unit. Old family pictures, her evening gowns, dresses, china, crystal, antique furniture. Today is Mother's Day and went to grab some of her things out of the unit. I found my unit with a different lock on it from the one I put in place. The mystery lock has CubeSmarts logo on it. CubeSmarts lock was drilled thru the bottom. Everything was taken expect the larger pieces of furniture. One of her dresses was trampled on the ground. It appeared my unit had been tampered with twice and I was never alerted by property management. No one was on site to help. No one answered the phone. Their emergency response team was unavailable to respond me.

Rented with them for about a year. Service was decent, but not outstanding. On the day I toured and decided to rent a unit, I felt like I needed to ask 1,000 questions to get information. Upon closing out my account, I was then told they could not get back in to see any information about charges or fees and I could no longer get a print out after I was told unknown information. It was a frustrating visit when closing out my account.

Nice enough of a place, manager is a good person and always helpful. The only issus it that the entrance key pad does not work every 3rd of or 5th time I attempt to enter the storage area. You have to back up, park walk inside to the office, he checks the computer and data there should not be any problems. We ho to the entry pad and now it works. More aggravation than anything else, I just don't go on Sunday when the office is closed and I am always ready for the key pad not to work.

Terrible location. Avoid at all costs. Been using them for two years and the place is never maintained and apparently have people jumping the fence, following people in and etc (stated by the manager of location). Sketchy part of town and overall too expensive for services and location. Oh and when I was there yesterday found a new lock on my unit. My balance was paid, and that's not my lock. Had to call corporate 3x times to get some other manager from another store out (no one answers the emergency line) who cut the lock and found everything of value stolen. Called the police and he said "guess you're the 8th unit so far". Apparently units had been burgled and no notice sent out to the renters. Filled out a police report and cleaned the reminder of the unit out and had to call them again today to make sure I could get my move out documents and not get charged. Terrible place that has made so I'll never ever use a storage unit again. Lost thousands in possessions and many sentimental items that can never be replaced. Horrible horrible place.

Came to get something from our unit that we have had for about 6 months and everything valuable was stolen. Check the camera you might say.... well there wasn’t one that was able to see our particular unit. Dealing with insurance now and it’s not going well. All my husbands tools are gone the whole 6 foot tool box gone with them. My priceless rare road bicycle is gone too a long with some other small items. If you can don’t go here security is not a priority. At least not as of now. It was not only our unit that was robbed too. We will never see those items again nor will we get compensated anywhere close to what it was all worth to US.

Did an online reservation and when I went in to pay and get the lock and key, attendant couldn't find it. I had the confirmation on my phone, but he continued for 15 minutes till he found it. Went the next day to bring a load and the gate code I was given the day before was wrong. Had to go to the office, same guy, still had no clue. Got the real code and went to the unit and it had a lock on it. Had to go back to the office again to have it cut off. Second time using this company. No problems the first time. Nothing but problems this time

I'm very satisfied with CubeSmart and their managers at this store. Michael and Ashley were very helpful and friendly in getting me setup with my rental space. The rental space was clean and secure. There was a small leak in the middle of the floor from the roof (we had just had a very wet storm the night before) and after reporting it to Michael they had it fixed within a day. Ashley helped me with the gate when my code wasn't working correctly. The security system in place, a coded gate and security cameras give peace of mind along with the rental insurance. If your looking for storage I recommend them.
