One of my issues with the storage unit is you have to purchase their lock. I’ve rented before so I already have a couple of locks . They don’t give you an option to let them know that you already have a lock like the one they require you to have. I do appreciate, however the three month and discount on the monthly cost

I love this storage company. There's usually nobody available on Tuesdays at my location. When I called they sent the nicest woman to help me. She was quick, friendly, very reliable and she knew all the info I needed. The bathroom was VERY DIRTY/ unsanitary, never seen 1 so bad in my life. No tissue, no napkins, poop in & around toilet, sink so dirty it was black on the inside and the floor.....omg i think it def has fungi growing. I just wanted to clean it. LOL

My better-half, and I have had a unit here for maybe 5 years now. We signed on at $120 a month, give or take. A LOT, can happen in five years! Mostly work, work, work. We are now paying close to 5X what we initially were. Mostly because we are so busy working to make the rent, we don’t have any free time to get our most important stuff out from the back of the storage unit! The property has a 10pm lock out,(super strict,) except when it doesn’t. It’s in a ever declining part of north Denver, so allowing the gate to have malfunctions for days at a time, when our rent on ONE unit would cover the cost to have it fixed, is completely absurd!!!!!!!!

Horrific experience here so far. We’re locked out of our unit after Setting up our contract to be on autopay on 9/29/22. We just tried to access our unit and our code is denied and we found the lock had been changed a few days after our second payment was due, and apparently not processed. Not only is this in extreme default of cube smarts own rental agreement but we can probably sue them since it’s blatantly against the contract to change a lock prior to 30 days. DO NOT RENT HERE- absolutely terrible experience and we are not even two month’s in!

I am giving this CubeSmart location two stars because of these following issues that I had immediately after renting a space from them: 1. I was told by customer service over the phone that if I filled out the application online, I would be refunded for the lock since I have a lock from a previous time that I’ve used them. I go to the location and speak with the woman working, who then tells me that they cannot refund mine or my boyfriends lock fees and that she doesn’t know why customer service would say that... It’s not a lot, but an additional $40 is $40. 2. I was told after moving in that this location is known for break ins and lack of security and sure enough, reviews confirm that. I guess we will see. 3. No referral $ given. 4. Online services will give you no choice but to purchase insurance and a lock. I suggest going in and making sure you have options rather than dealing with no refunds or cancellations after the fact.

We moved out the end of July. Stopped by to say we were doing so, and so therefore thought it was good. I recieved a phone call 2 weeks later saying we were late on our rent. I again said we moved out of the unit and had spoken to someone about it and I believe it was Glen who said "no worries I will take care of it.". I just received a letter yesterday saying we owe $300+ dollars for 2 months rent, late fees, and a fee for an auction. I have called several times and left messages with no answers!. Our time here was fine, but moving out has been awful!

I had the WORST experience with this poorly managed facility. My unit was broken into, after someone used a crowbar to smash open the lock. They stole more than $4000 worth of my goods, including my entire Fiesta Ware collection and more! THE MANAGER DID NOT CARE! There is a video security camera pointed directly at my unit but he wouldn’t take the time to go thru footage to help find the thieves. No apology. Just a blank look and a stupid expression. My first experience with this company started when the low-skilled intake employee put in the wrong email address in my account. Being busy I forgot to make the 2nd month’s payment. The invoice that was sent never arrived because of the email address being wrong. I paid a hefty fine for late payment. When I tried to enter the facility, twice my passcode wasn’t accepted. When thieves broke in, I was paying for security, including a monthly fee for insurance. Now, dealing with this insurance racket, I am being out through terrible experiences. Lost time Lost money Lost sleep I officially HATE Cube Smart and will NEVER recommend them to ahyone

I had just come from a very frustrating experience at a difference storage facility. I told the gentleman that greeted me what it happened and I was still so frustrated I was dropping f-bombs. He called me down and I told him look, if you can be anywhere close to what that other place offered me in the phone, I'll rent from you. Turns out CubeSmart was just a little higher than the other place but who you deal with as well as what you deal with his just as important. He was patient and kind and should be three or four different storage spaces for my appraisal. I ended up renting and will be a customer as long as I need storage.

My unit was broken into here. (as well as others in the same incident) I was told there were ample security cameras and someone on site 24/7 when I first rented my unit. This is not true, or at least VERY exaggerated. I even bought one of their "fool proof" disc locks they sell right on site. But my unit was broken into and I lost so, so many things. When asking for footage, I was told "Oh, no camera looks towards your unit..." Wow, thanks! Great. I would have LOVED to know that as you upped my rates every year. They would not even attempt to scrub through security footage from ANY cameras to see who might have broken into multiple units. I am not sure there is a single security camera at this location. If your unit is broken into, there will be no security footage to help. I would not ever feel safe having my things here again. I was also not the only unit broken into. My neighbor's unit was also broken into, and who knows who else. They have also continued to charge me for the unit I moved out of. Had to cancel my debit card in order to stop those. If you have to rent here, get LOTS of insurance coverage.

DO NOT USE CUBESMART!!! I had my cargo trailer and all of its contents stolen off the lot. The camra pointed at my trailer was not hooked up. The exit gate was stuck in the open position. Trying to contact anybody with answers is like pulling teeth. They took 5 days to review the camra that wasn’t disconnected and now they won’t send the fottage to the police. Cube smart is more concerned with protecting a thief than providing customer service. I have never in my life encountered such bad service. I would never store anything at Cubesmart again. I thought my property was safe and I couldent have been more wrong. UPDATE: the police have now recovered my trailer. It has been emptied of its contents damaged to the point of being totaled RESPONSE TO OWNERS COMENT: I have spent hours on the phone with customer service. I have spoke to the manager, the district manager, and the regional supervisor. nobody has been helpful its been months. when I was trying to figure out who stole my trailer I was treated like a criminal by the cube smart team. if you wanted to help then you should have done so months ago when I needed help getting a description of the thief off the camera. maybe you should actually help your customers instead of just making it look like you care on reviews

Roads need to be re paved. I've had a unit there for a bit and they still haven't replaced the light in my unit. So be prepaid to pay for a light bulb and or bring a flash light. Also if you're in the closed gate area at 10pm you're locked in all night.

Let me preface by saying that my decision to even put my stuff into storage was my last resort but due to circumstance it was a no brainer that I need to vacate my current residence. Both Dylan and Karen were very helpful and welcoming during the whole process. I was very frazzled and disorganized when I showed up to their office but with both of their help the process to obtain a unit was very enjoyable. I have been around this facility numerous times in the past and have always felt welcomed by everybody there. Also, thanks to Dylan for helping me get my lock to open I was just about to go smash it with a sledge.

Great customer service. Super easy and flexible to work with. Karen went above and beyond by coming in on a Sunday which was her day off to help with cutting the lock on my unit which I had foolishly lost the key to. For free! Initial paperwork takes awhile so be prepared when you come in for the first time. After that, getting in and out is a breeze.

I've rented twice at this facility. Karen and Keagan are professional and accommodating. The big selling points at this location is that it's very secure, well-maintained, and easy access in and out. Prices were fair in comparison to the alternatives. As far as storage rentals go, this CubeSmart has been a good experience and I will continue to rent here or recommend to others.
