Nice, clean facility with reasonable rates. Pretty convenient to get to as well, which is a big plus for a non-driver. Katie is very helpful, friendly, has a great sense of humor - Cubesmart is lucky to have her. Without her, I'd probably knock a star off my rating for making me buy a lock through CS even though I already had an identical one and let them know that when I first moved in. I'm sure if I had dealt with Katie back then she would have told me I could use my own, as she informed me recently. Minor issue, though, and Katie's awesomeness more than makes up for it.

I have been staying here since around July of 2020 and still going, the place is always nice and clean and i'm always able to get the help I need when needed. Katie is an absolute sweetheart, a literal gem hidden in the stone. Love her attitude, love her personality, love her high energy. She's helped me with the process of getting my unit figured out for a good price and is just amazing overall! I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend coming here for a unit and HIGHLY recommend dealing with Katie personally. She will directly solve whatever problems you have if any at all which you'll never have to worry about the building and units are very secured. I feel safe and trust that CubeSmart in Englewood will provide the correct professional service needed when handling your personal storage!

0 stars. I store my tools for work along with other stuff that I don't have room for in this "storage" facility. The people whom obviously have zero skills that work here are obnoxious and rude. Why call it a storage facility if you're not aloud to store things like tools. Tools that pay the storage bill!? I don't recommend Cube Not So Smart to anyone.

I’d give a 5/5 for customer service, cleanliness, safety, ease of use, and access. Joe (especially) made my whole experience, she’s an absolute gem of a human. She was so knowledgeable, helpful, communicative, profesional, and kind. I only give it a 4 because prices were raised unexpectedly a few months in, but that’s top down, and that’s also just storage for you. The industry is inherently predatory. Ultimately the price raise is why I cancelled my unit.

Freezing inside. Carts are locked up chained to the floor. After hours your screwed and have zero use of them. Very difficult to find unit. Update * new manager called me to ask how they could improve and let me know they had the heat raised to improve temperature. Also working on ideas for the carts. Rarely do I get a call like that and I appreciated it. ??

The location is difficult to access with a large moving truck, difficult to load and unload and the space inside is less than customer friendly...think maze. The check in/change process is ineffective and not customer friendly AT ALL. If I would have had enough time to go to a different storage space, I would have.

Good Location, Clean units and building - but literally surrounded by construction so you only have one place to park, you can't get to your unit easily if it's on the west side of the building. The one door that you can get in/out of is hard to move larger items in and out and the hand carts are always missing. It's hard to catch someone in the office if you need help. Prices get hiked regularly, and there are better self storage options for a better price all within 1-2 miles of here so we decided to move our business elsewhere.

Made a reservation on Sunday with a lock in rate of $39, but when I got there, there was nobody in the office. The next day, received a call to see how the reservation was met. Told clerk the situation, she said come in and get it taken care of. When I got there, Noone was in the office, again. Made another reservation on Monday to hopefully get both ends to meet. This reservation had a lock in rate for $42. What's $3 right? Then I had to call the business, again, to see if anyone was there. Finally got it taken care of. There was an apology given, although a little action would have held more water. By that I mean a small.discount could have been attached to the first month, or something, to SHOW one is truly apologetic. To answer the floating question, this storage facility is the lesser of two evils. Any other storage is further away. There's my 2 cents.

Frustrating to say the least. As an Independent Contractor I'm always accessing my two 7x10 units for tools and what not. The selling point for me when I started renting years ago was the electronic keyed access from 6am to 10pm. Lately though, that has all changed. Months ago the hydraulic arms on the access doors would slam the doors shut which in turn damaged the locking mechanism and for a few weeks the door would not lock and could be easily access by any individuals. On another occasion, an individual from from an adjacent unit cut tye wire grate on top of my unit abf attempted to steal items. I told the front office, they came, took pictures and then I never heard back from them. And now, all the electronic keyed locks are not working. Access is now limited to to the office doors during office hours and everyone is forced to walk all the way to the south side of the building to gain access. They said it would be fixed by Monday. It's been five days now.

I liked that the storage locker was climate controlled and the App was super easy for payments and information that I needed, such as the code to get into the building. What I didn't like, was the access to the bathroom. I was there for 5 hours loading out and when I wanted to use the restroom, I had to track down an employee so they could open the restroom. Kind of weird that the bathroom is locked down. Also, the entrance has changed and it was really hard to find. I had to drive around and this is not an easy task when driving a 26 ft Uhaul. I didn't see any signs that said Entrance.

Look no storage facility is going to be perfect. That’s a fantasy kind of like the idea of our government leaders being people that we should be looking up to you know a fantasy on that level. Having said that, however I’ll say that this place is probably about as close as you can get to perfect and it’s not because it’s half the price of everywhere else it’s not because you get two units for the price of one. It’s not because there’s hot tubs in the bigger units because I know that’s true. It’s because of the people that work there. Top to bottom. Amazing as far as I’m concerned, but I really want to be leaving. Miss review to mention it a little lady by the name of Mary Anne that works there. Now that statement would be true just based upon what a sweetheart she is but I’m more leaving this with you to focus on the work ethic that this woman has I’ve seen big muscular men cry and complain about doing half of the work this impressive woman does in a day. I’m sure there’s lots of people that do a lot of hard work in a day, but they usually have a scowl on their face or they’re complaining or they’re not going out of their way to see if you’re all right because they’re too consumed by their frustration with the difficulty they’re experiencing. Not this lady people not this lady this lady will put down a 50 pound piece of furniture that she’s having to drag out of the place because some irresponsible entitled person just decided to leave it there because it was too inconvenient for them to put it back in their $60,000 Lexus SUV and take it to a Goodwill they would rather have Mary and do their dirty work for them. The stuff I’ve seen this lady put through already quit a long time ago did she? Nope obviously not not only did she not quit, but she is just never complaining. She always has a smile on her face and she’ll put down that piece of furniture to come over and make sure you’re doing all right. You don’t need anything to me that’s true character and that’s impressive and that’s what I see has value in a place like this because they’re all pretty much the same the buildings in the south they’re all just storage units what’s different it’s the people that run them. This place has good people and she’s one of the damn best I’ve ever seen. The only reason why I’m not leaving. Five stars is that she hasn’t been promoted to like a regional general manager or something yet because she’s put in her work already. She shouldn’t have to carry anything except for a Mont blanc pen and a chunky bank account step your game up CubeSmart make sure you give the right job to the right people and reward those that deserve it, there’s a young lady that works here as well. That’s a really solid one. I just don’t know her name so I can’t really specifically reference her but just know that if you want to be able to place with people that care and won’t do you wrong. This is where you should be.

I’ve had issues with CubeSmart since the beginning. I would receive a notice every few months that the price of my unit was being increased. Called the office several times and was met with terrible customer service as well as them never being able to explain why the price kept increasing. After paying 2.5 times the amount of the original cost of the unit, I decided it was time to move my stuff out, especially when the price of the same unit was $50/month cheaper advertised online. Total bait and switch company. Would never recommend to anyone. They advertise low prices online then turn around and increase the price within a few months.

New policys has changed this place so much I wouldn't recommend it anymore...My husband & I was one of the first customers when they opened this location about 8yrs ago & No we haven't always paid on time but have paid the over charge for that & they would at times work with us knowing we are longtime dependable customers...NOT anymore not even to wait 1 days till my husband's check posted!...the new people have also been rude at times ready for a fight when there wasn't one ..maybe because a prior customer gave them an attitude??? Idk? COVID or the higher ups have made it less customer friendly..no appreciation ??

Their front desk staff and team were really helpful. It was easy to rent a unit for a month to help with a housing move. The facility and storage unit was really clean and there was natural lighting from windows. I had to leave some belongings out in the open for a couple hours and didn't have anything stolen. I didn't worry as much as I usually would because the other members weren't sketchy. Go through the website to get the best deals. Also, be sure to bring your own lock and share your existing renters insurance policy or home insurance policy to save some money.

Manager Maryanne Watkins of store4658 assumed I already hadn’t purchased two CS disk padlocks and didn’t inform me that she was charging me for an unneeded 3rd padlock. When I confronted her about the charge she said no refunds but claimed she would give me credit toward next months rent; however, my followup texts and emails have gone unanswered so I’m left assuming this is a “check is in the mail” situation. I’ll consider a fraudulent $20.30 charge as heads up to take my business elsewhere and cancel any credit cards on they have on file to prevent such a disreputable management from further scams.

Great customer service - Giordyn is absolutely amazing! I'm a new customer and I'm very happy with my whole experience. Very clean unit, halls, bathroom, exterior and office. Giordyn was able to answer all of my questions and help me get all registered, showed me to my unit and helped me find my way around (this place is huge!). Mary Ann was incredibly helpful during the rental process. Organized, knowledgeable, quick to get the paperwork done. Unfortunately, the affordable move-in rental rate that was supposed to be "forever" ended up getting jacked up over $100/ month increase in rent shortly after move-in. They definitely have good looking rental rates on move-in and then jack up the rates A LOT without notice. It wasn't a year later... it was just a few months. Bait and switch after you're all moved in. Ended up moving out.

I have had a storage at this location for over 5 years and had 3 different size units and have never been late on making a payment ever. So now I am trying to get things out of my storage unit. And move out. The weather had been snowy and cold for the last 3 months and my unit faces north but I have been trying to get a few things out of there and the management straight up lied to me after one bad snow storm by saying they had plowed that evening but she had not and it was obvious. I got stuck inside the storage 3 times that night and I think i messed up my alignment but it was the lie that got me mad. I told them today that I was giving notice and that if they could get the ice rink down a bit so I could move on/ but the new manager wasn't in and no one wanted to help me . I'm just over people who don't want to work , it's really to bad they are.

My wife and I have moved for work so frequently over the last decade we could probably start an influencer channel or business rating moving trucks/companies, storage, temporary housing, what to do and when to do it, and I can honestly say we have had 2 storage units at this facility multiple years, and have benefitted greatly from doing business with CubeSmart whose staff and front line leadership, like Jordan who always takes the time to resolve your concerns or help you out because she clearly wants to help and cares about your experience with her, to Mary Ann in management who has the admirable qualities of being to the point and direct, while also listening and understanding your request or concern and working to help you resolve it as best works for you. Whatever your situation, I can tell you that having personnel at a facility who don’t act like a retail cashier, that actually care, take time to actually listen, answer your questions, give you accurate responses and advice, and most of all communicate well and are easy to achieve communication with? You’ll not get that often, certainly we haven’t when using countless storage facilities not to name names like Shmublic Shporage or local side hustles. It’s worth going with professionals, and your stuff is safe here, ours has been for 5 years, and it’s never a worry in our climate controlled unit with controlled access and truly remarkable staffing that make 100% of the experience for me. Without the people it’s all just a closet with a lock on it. CubeSmart is more than that because of the amazing people I’ve gotten to interact with over the years, even having the opportunity to meet regional management when they were at the facility, and equally impressive. We feel like we matter here, like our stuff is safe, and like Jordan and Mary Ann are people we can go to if ever we need to, and we currently have 2 large units at this facility. I’m writing this review because in the mess of Covid and recently in a job change, the communication with them has made all the difference in us being comfortable our stuff is safe, and allowing us to move without being overextended knowing exactly what our expenses are, when, access hours, they’re the best. Poor customer service. Bathrooms are all broken (out of 8 all are locked) At 14:00 there is no one in the office on Friday the 28th of October 2022. After leaving a message on their phone system, while standing in outside the office inside the building I could hear the phones ringing, I left a message and while doing so a office person poked her head up over the counter as if she was sleeping. For a large company that brags about customer service, this store in Denver Colorado 1090 W Hampden Ave, Englewood, CO 80110 needs some better staffing and better customer service. I'm moving out of here to a different company and location.

Very poor customer service. The employees act like they're doing you a favor by providing services that were promised. Don't expect to be able to access the dollies (there for customers) without being insulted for asking them to get up from behind the desk. Also, not clean. UPDATED: Spoke with the Senior Manager at this facility and they gave me a full refund on the additional month that they charged me for. Great customer service for something they did wrong. They owned the mistake and made it right. This is the way to do business. ************* At first, this place seemed like the perfect spot for storage. They gave us the front unit, which made moving things really easy, and it was relatively cheap. Then we were a few days late (4 days) getting the lock off the door and they charged us for a whole other month of rent, and weren’t able to prorate or refund the unit—really poor clause in the contract. I’d give this a 1 or 2 star rating, but the move in and location of the cube was too good to give it that poor of a rating. I’d recommend having better flexible options if there is a “late” move out instead of charging the customer for the whole month that they won’t use the unit. Likely won’t come back to CubeSmart because of this.

Most everything about this CubeSmart was great. The staff was always helpful and knowledgeable. This place is HUGE, so, use the map that they provide for you. Our one issue was the the key lock on the furthest back door. It wouldn't unlock for us and we had to check with the office to see that it wasn't our issue. Until repaired, a small sign saying use another door would have been helpful. Overall though we would be happy to use this CubeSmart again.

I go to my storage today and someone has broken into my storage unit. They stole books, my TV, stock piles of food stock, clothing...and GOD knows what else. Not worth the price I pay...the only reason I knew is because I had to dropped stuff off last week and had to go back this week to drop off more stuff...As soon as i tried to open my storage it was already unlock and the storage was ransacked. Avoid this place. Seems good at first, but they really hike up the prices. Don't expect any prorating if you move out before your monthly term ends. When I needed carts they never had them. Not once... until the day i was able to move my things 3yrs later. Rude management as well, although not when I first stored there. Place really went down hill. So glad to be out.

Cube Smart is a very clean and safe place for belongings. I had gone to Public Storage and my unit was broken in to within one night! The office staff is horrible. They start with attitude from day one, are never in the office, and key the bathroom locked and rarely give out the key. One disgruntled customer pooped on the outside wall of the bathroom and they refused to clean it up for over a week. They closed my account without my permission forcing me to leave a job site with my tools there at risk to deal with the matter. They never apologized, in fact gave me more attitude during the incident. I called the district manager and he never even personally returned my call. I even called the corporate customer service and they have the general manager on recording yelling at me and giving me attitude and nothing was done, not even an apology. Worst place to rent storage from ever!!!!

GREAT STORAGE PLACE! Carmen the store manager for the Englewood, CO location is FANTASTIC! I have raved many times about how great Carmen is and how I wished more people in the service industry could be more like her. I was in a bind late 2019 Due to an abrupt situation resulting in the need to find a “clean and safe” place I could store my belongings. After calling several other storage facilities in town (whom were very unhelpful and unpleasant) that did not meet my needs, I reached out to the Cube Smart location in Englewood, CO. This location I first thought was a little “far” from my Downtown loft, but after speaking to Carmen whom was pleasant from our first phone conversation IE; Instead of just telling me a scripted line of BS She invited me to come into the office so we could go over information and look at the facility. When I went to speak with her in person, she was so helpful and understanding. Carmen guided me through the storage rental process and needless to say, I signed an agreement that day back in 2019. And, in regards to being “a little far” oh gosh No, the location is easy to get to and access and honestly is only 15min from my Downtown Loft (which if I would have rented from one of the closer storage providers in downtown, it would have taken me God knows how long to even get in or out of the parking lots to get to the facilities. Over the course of my time renting with Cube Smart (now 2021) Carmen has remained to been wonderful. She is always courteous and so incredibly kind every time and anytime I ever had questions or needed anything.Of course I highly recommend Cube Smart and honestly have told so many of my downtown neighbors that they should use Cube Smart for their storage needs, specifically to use the Englewood location if they wanted to receive great customer service and have easy accessibility to their belongings in a secure safe location. Unfortunately, I will no longer be a Cube Smart customer, clearly not as a result of my experience, but I am leaving the state and relocating out of CO to an place where Cube Smart is not located, ugh But, I will definitely continue to recommend Cube Smart to my friends and family whom live in an area where Cube Smart’s are located, and if ever Cube Smart moves to my future area and/or I move back into an area there are Cube Smart locations I would definitely use Cube Smart again! Half the staff actually shows respect to their customers. The other half not so much. The ones who do are awesome, those that don't... Well not so much. When I moved in bathroom access, carts and electrical outlets were unrestricted. Now they are. Thanks cubesmart for making me feel like a kindergartener when I need to use the bathroom or the carts. Why lock the bathrooms during normal business hours? I'll be moving out at my soonest convenience, since I previously moved out of another facility that had and allowed unrestricted access to their amenities. I would boast that this facility has good security, however this facility frequently is filled with people you'd cross the street to avoid. Security doesn't mean much when those who you'd want to protect your stuff from have the same access as you. Finally heaven forbid you should rent a unit next to one of these undesirable tenets as they constantly have the walkways blocked. There are better options for your money. Unless you prefer to store your belongings in a unofficial homeless shelter, I'd find those better options.

I needed a unit last minute during the COVID pandemic and everyone here has been nothing short of amazing. They were respectful, understanding, and so kind! We finally were able to find an apartment and move our stuff. I just had to call to discontinue the rental and Rachel made it so simple to do. She even reassured me with a few tips such as remembering to take the lock (I am such a space cadet sometimes I would probably leave it on accident). Nothing but positive reviews. If you need safe secure storage and want a lovely friendly efficient staff I highly recommend this facility.

Great storage place but if u need to use the bathroom don't count on it doors always locked and none is there to unlock it and who what's to travel twice as far to use the bathroom with someone waiting outside to lock it back up

I needed a place to store my items for a short amount of time while moving between locations and Carmen and Rachael both made the process very easy. They even made sure that I had close access to the door, so that I could easily move my things in and out.

Extremely helpful. I love the fact that you have to have a code to get in the building. I use to rent at public storage, but after my unit was broken into which was after they took down the security system before putting up the new security system. I lost about $4,000 of my stuff. My computer, tools, clothes and other stuff. I can never trust public storage again.

Rachel was awesome and super friendly. The facility is huge and clean. Amazing price for the units and don’t have any complaints at all. Would recommend 100% if you’re looking for storage.

Shelly Giron was great! She was thorough and knowledgeable. I was hesitant when walking in about renting a space and had every intention of shopping around but she showed me multiple units while giving me a tour of the storage space facility! Needless to say I rented a space! I'd do it again if I had to! I highly recommend you renting a space here if you're interested?!

The gals at CubeSmart stayed a little late and waited for us to arrive with our items to store. Since we were coming from across town, it meant a lot to us to not have to wait until the next day. Stopped in to inquire about a unit and met with Shelly. She was friendly and very informative. She didn't wait till the last minute to throw in any additional fees and was up front with everything. She handled me being a pain in the butt having to look at three different sizes, like a champ! She explained everything to me while we looked at each unit and had a few good laughs along the way. The facility was very clean not only in the common areas but each unit as well. I got the best bang for the buck dealing with Shelly I would highly recommend going to see her if you're looking for a unit and definitely consider giving her a raise if you are her boss! Thanks Shelly

Awful experience so far. My door jammed and I had to leave my storage open all night they also lock the loading Gates so you have to call them every time you want to bring stuff in, it's ridiculous. Staff all up in your face trying to have a conversation when your busy unprofessional.
