Super friendly at first, raises prices like crazy. Bait and switch for sure. Whatever you initial rate is plan on it increasing 2x, then 3x, etc. These guys do not value loyalty. Best advice is to use these folks for very short term rentals. Take advantage of the low entry rate and get out as soon as you can. Or just like another guy said, go somewhere locally owned. Not under a corporate brand. they value their customers instead of rake them over the coals.

Bait and switch, poor systems, incredibly bad corporate customer service. It’s a great place to take advantage of a short term, need a place to store my stuff before my new house is ready, but beyond that…go local. Rate has doubled in the last few years. I get constantly stuck with extra fees, which also go up by the way. They attract you with low cost in the first few months then there ya go… you get cards in the mail that say…guess what we are going to raise your rate and not give you a single thing for that increase. There are so many better choices in the area. I would recommend anything but this place. You are far better off going to a place with good people that are slave to corporate systems.

I absolutely love love love it here! I’m currently at Public Storage looking to move and checked out a few different cube smarts and this one was my favorite hands down!! Horrible systems, rates are low at first then skyrocket...fees not worth it. Go local. In two years my rate doubled. Their systems would not allow me to save a credit card so I was also getting late fees. People are nice, place is reasonably clean but wow is this place very bait and switchy. Not sure if it is corporate policies or nice to your face and rip you off later but in the end does it matter? Your pocket will be drained from here. If you need a place for 6mths this is it after that you will be seriously paying for it.

Do NOT get a storage unit here! I originally got the unit for $203. This was without any new customer special offer. ONLY 2 months after signing up the unit price went up to $230. Now after a year the unit price has gone up to $280. So basically in just over a year the unit has gone up from $203 to $280. They will sucker you in with a discount, then raise the prices on you FAST. This is DAYLIGHT robbery! Oh and surprise, surprise ... they are not allowed to give out the telephone number or email of the greedy owners! Sounds like a banana republic operation. Save yourself the headache, look elsewhere for storage.

There are a few things that I love about Cube Smart in comparison to other storage facilities. First off the the facility management is so kind and have always made an effort to make sure everything was ok on my end. Second the code for gates and doors actually makes sense and is easy to remember. Last I have not had any issues with with cubesmart security and has been nothing but a pleasant group to work with.

I was lied to about being able to pro rate my unit. I needed it for 1 month and 3 days since I was in between leases. When we first signed up we were told it was possible, but when we moved out Caroline said there's nothing she can do. So basically they scammed me out of $200. This place had horrible customer service . They have false advertisements that their units are climate controlled when they aren't and they up your monthly rent with out any type of notice.Its more than double what you were paying the month prior. The wait for a phone call is about 15-20 mins

I've had my storage unit for awhile now. Most recently I had to go to the office to ask for help with a problem I was having with the lock on my unit. Virginia, who was in the office at the time was very helpful. She came out and worked with me on trying to figure out what was going on with it. She was proactive and very patient with me and with the entire ordeal. Up until that day, I really hadn't met anyone from the office besides saying "hello" or waving "goodbye" on occasion. It's really refreshing to deal with somebody in the customer service industry that actually has good customer service skills and doesn't just act like they are put out by someone asking for help. I sure appreciated all that she did for me.

Be Aware! Undisclosed $24.00 admin fee will be charged. CubeSmart admits the undisclosed fee is charged, and is not found anywhere on the mobile site used by all smartphone users to reserve storage. They don’t care. It is found only on the normal website via non-smart phone users to reserve storage. They don’t care, you will pay the undisclosed $24 admin fee, regardless if their site fails to disclose such a fee applies. Kind of like the old used car buying days - one price advertised and then undisclosed fees apply jacking up the price.

Initial signup appeared smooth with the onsite rep saying that the unit would be ready for later use that night. Upon arrival that night the gate code did not work. I give cube smart support and the resident manager 5 stars+ for solving the after hours gate code, for getting the locks off the assigned unit, and for replacing the light bulb. Four stars only due to the day time rep not taking care of the items he said he would for the later evening move in.

Deanna is amazing! She was able to stay late to help me get set-up with a unit after I ran into the office at the last minute. The explanation of charges was thorough, there is an administrative fee & insurance fee, but even those weren't pricey. I feel very comfortable keeping my stuff here. I was looking for an outside storage space to keep my UTV. I reserved a spot with Cubesmart to because I discovered if I did the reservation online I could save a little over $20 per month on my monthly rent. Once I got ro the store and filled out the leasing paperwork I was informed that this was just a promotion and would expire in a few months and my rates would go back to the original rate. Nowhere on their website mentions this. I'm not happy with this type of bait and switch tactic and will be canceling my lease agreement and moving my stuff to a different company. I have zero tolerance for companies that use this type of advertising. I feel they deliberately deceive the customer for the sole purpose of profit. I would not consider this company for my storage needs due to the lack of transparency and the tactics used to gain my business

Buyer beware, my brother suffered a stroke in January, of which he was 14 days late for the first time ever. I tried to pay his bill with his Mastercard through SSDI. SSDI is his disability he gets monthly because in 2010 he was diagnosed with Super Nuclear Palsy, s disease very rare that is in the Parkinsons family, that attacks the brain, of which causes plaque buildup as well as calcium deposits, thus when you get to much.of a buildup, your brain suffers lack of oxygen. When I tried to pay his bill with his credit card, evidently anybody who has Social Security benefits, you can forget about paying your bill via the website as well as over the phone. My brother was very detailed with his notes, and it looks like he talked to Deanna every month for 16 months that they need to implement a billing system like everybody else in corporate America. So when I tried to pay the $100 for his unit, I also let them know that he may not make it and since he is with me in Arizona, to stop the billing. Nope. They are still billing him which is mistake #2. Then they are filing a lien against him for unfounded charges from Feb till present. So I will be filing harassment and illegal billing charges against them, as well as I explained to the Narcissists, that you cannot enforce a contract with a person who is considered by the Federal Government to be Mentally Disabled. I sent this to them twice, and well no OBJECT CONSTANCY. Narcissistic people cannot share our view point, they cannot self reflect, they have no Reason Aptitude. Also please note that there is a person that has this beard that pan handles on the property, of which he became a pest to my brother. My brother also Served Honorably in the US Navy, performing missions of which kept us safe. Also has Bachelors of Science in Accounting, in 1989, as was very accomplished as he won awards for 15 years in placing people into companies. In fact not only did he find over 300 people jobs in his Discipline of Accounting and Finance, he also at no charge for the Private companies that could not afford his fees, he at no charge would personally refer them. Rep on phone was less than customer friendly (Deanna). Worse, when my movers arrived with load to be placed in unit #216 (assigned in all documents I signed) with new lock and key after office closed, they found an existing lock on door to #216. They had to remove old lock with bolt-cutter in order to place our load inside. Very disappointing of CubeSmart, and very inconvenient for our movers.

Staff is very nice. Units are clean well kept. Their payment procedures suck. I used to call into the store and pay. Now you need a password and most of the time it doesn't work. Being computer literate, this a failing of them. When a company changes pay practices of its customers to make the accounting people happy...they really suck because the customer does not come first. Their pay practices border on the poor policies of Comcast. I called at 5:58pm when I couldn't access my account via the internet...the call went to a computer system and there was no live rep to help me even though the store shows hours until 6pm. You're forgetting the customer service rule...you are making it hard for the customer to give you money for your service. Pretty poor

Horrible management is just one of the many reasons why I have left that filthy parking garage they call a storage facility! Diana the shift manager was unresponsive to any of the requests I have asked for. Not only does she deserve to be where she is now (sweeping up old tenants trash) I cannot believe that a storage facility needs such hateful and shrewd grounds keep. Could they not hire someone with a little more people skills like communication understanding realism these things go a long way when dealing with people their money and valuables not to mention that she has done nothing for the company but jeopardize it although they think she is just too hard person or ass.

I just moved to Colorado and had a few things to store for a little while. My move was a frustrating experience to get my stuff to Colorado but things got a whole lot easier when I got to Cubesmart! By far the smoothest part of my move. Ron was so nice and had everything ready for me. I have no doubts that my belongings are secure and in the right place. So when I decided I would rent a space at cubesmart I called to reserve and was quoted a price. When I got all the way over there I was told that the price I was quoted was incorrect, however they would honor it . To me that was perfect, there's nothing better than doing business with people who keep their word. It's clean and secure and at a decent price, couldn't ask for much more than that.

This is my second time renting a storage unit with CubeSmart. I came back the second time because of the friendly customer service, and this second experience hasn't disappointed. The managers are so well trained to ask all the right questions so that you the customer get exactly what you need. Plus, they throw in some caring about what you are going through. If I ever need a storage unit again it will be with cubsmart.
