The storage unit (mine was climate controlled) and facility were perfect for my needs. I stored items between house/apartment moves including clothes and art work. The facility was easy to access. It was clean and I never had any problems. Hours available for access, fit my needs. Parking to drop off or pick up items was never an issue for me. Lighting, elevators, carts and gates (in an out of the storage complex) always worked perfectly.

I must admit, the staff here is exceptional. They answered all our questions, took time to show us around the complex, and helped us with paperwork regarding our rental. VERY CLEAN!!! Nice environment, and friendly people, too. They have REAL elevators that people can actually ride in, not so-called "freight elevators", which are nothing more than large, difficult-to-operate glorified dumbwaiters. Hours are great for accessing storage units: 6am-10pm. Storage units aren't cheap, but are competitively priced with other companies, which don't offer the same amenities. Bathroom well-cared for, but locked, which is understandable, so if ya gotta go, make sure you get there when the office is open. (Don't think they'd appreciate your going behind a bush!)

I felt that my items were safe and protected. I picked them up in the same condition I left them. There were no damages or issues after storing them for 8 months and I never worried that there would be a leak, a fire or a roberry especially being so far away in FL this made me happy and feel comfortable knowing I was leaving my items in safe hands. The representatives at that location were really nice and helpful as well.

RODENT INFESTED- If you must store your belongings at Cube Smart, I highly recommend that you load it up with rodent repellant and have someone that you trust, frequently remove the dead carcasses. The pungent, putrid rodent urine permeated most of my treasured items. My Grandmother's handmade quilts, (so much more) ruined. When I complained to the manager, I was offered no compensation, no apology. She hinted that perhaps I had food stored in my cube, and given excuses. I am heartbroken and I am disgusted. I have proof, pictures and am warning folks to avoid this happening to your belongings. Although the manager was very pleasant, pleasantries can never replace all that was lost forever. Does Cube Smart Corporate care?

Storage facility is ok. The main load in door is out of service quite frequently, with only one elevator to get off the first floor that can add additional stress. We’ve also gotten stuck on the second floor while people are holding the elevator on the first floor to load it and the only other way down are the stairs that are emergency use only. Ultimately there is only one way up and down. However, the real issue is once you get yourself loaded in they out of nowhere jack up the price. We have had the unit just about 5 months and we just received a measly postcard that rent is going up $25 a month which is a 21% increase. My roommate also has a unit and their rent is now up around $40 a month and they have had the unit just a few more months than us. Just be mindful when renting that your rent will inflate pretty soon after moving in. We will not be renting with this company again.

Cubesmart storage kept my stuff safe and secured. The staff were always helpful. It’s also affordable. Check with your renters insurance or home owners insurance on their for external storage. Mine was travelers and they covered it. So that saved me close to $15.

Very poor customer service if you want the cubesmart storage find at different location but not in Manchester, CT the manager Diane is very rude. The employee at front desk was also very rude they need to go to school for customer service. When customer call and leave the voicemail they never ever return their phone call. I have a storage space at the Cubesmart on 166 Adams street in Manchester CT., and I am really pleased overall with my experience there, but most especially with Diane, the store manager. Diane is very helpful, professional, and courteous, as well as a really outgoing and friendly person! Diane always greets you with a big smile and friendly hello, and she has a "can do" attitude...which is all too rare today! The two young people who manage this facility (formerly Adams Street storage) are not only friendly and kind but more importantly, they are professional while being good natured and understanding. Highly recommend this particular Cube Smart. As for the premises: always clean and I always feel safe whether it is during or after regular business hours. Update: March 2020 This CubeSmart continues to be one of best storage facilities in the area! The place is safe, clean and easily accessible. However, it is the level of professional and friendly service, and, the staff members (particularly Eileen), who continue to make this place shine. I highly recommend CubeSmart on Adams Street, Manchester if you need to store your belongings. The Staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful and the value is outstanding. I love that I can get to my unit so easily and that it is all on security cams. My movers were not happy with the slow elevator but now that it's done, I think it is worth it to be in a clean, secure building. That's the other thing, it is very clean. I truly recommend this storage facility, plus they have a truck you can use! I did have one issue with the gate not opening, but was told to just go to another gate if one is not responding...so problem solved! BTW, I get a free month for referring you, so please go through me! :) Have a fantastic day! JB

I WENT TO THIS LOCATION AND BORROWED THE TRUCK TO MOVE MY STUFF TO STORAGE. UPON FINISHING LOADING MY THINGS THE LATCH GOT STUCK AND WOULD NOT CLOSE. I SPENT A HOUR TRYING TO CALL AND GET A HOLD OF THE STORE MANAGER D. RYAN AND NO ONE WOULD PICK UP I WAS LATE RETURNING THE RENTAL BECAUSE IT TOOK ME 45 MINUTES TO GET THE LATCH TO CLOSE. ONCE I ARRIVED SHE WOULD NOT RETURN MY DEPOSIT. REGIONAL MANAGER NEVER CALLED ME BACK NOR THE DISTRICT MANAGER
