Looking for a place to store our boat, it was recommended to me to try storage facilities (as Marina yards are full). CubeSmart was the only facility with a 35’ spot to accommodate us. Charles “Hutch” Hutchinson was wonderful. Walked me to the available spots, so I’d have my pick for the best fit. He offered many pointers navigating the facility to & from to simplify our process. Why am I not surprised the Monroe CubeSmart has so many 5 star ratings? It’s mostly due to Hutch. He’s gone above and beyond any expectations at every turn, helping me with my RV when I first arrived a year ago and most recently when trouble arose. I can’t laud his kindness and his off-the-charts solutions enough. He is a mega asset to your business. And Ron fills Hutch’s big shoes admirably in his absence. Where do you find this caliber of individual I don’t know, but they sure make CubeSmart stand out. I’m a fan.

This is a review about Hutch at store 0662 Monroe CT I am in the process of moving from California to CT. On Monday April 20th I got a call that the movers were near the town where I bought my condo and were going to be delivering to my condo within hours. The problem was I was still in California, and the moving company was supposed to have arranged to store my things. After much communication with the moving company I was left to arrange storage on short notice myself. After scrambling in a near-panic for a couple of hours I was referred to Cube Smart, where I encountered the most helpful, compassionate, professional person I could have ever hoped for in my dire situation. I can’t speak for other CubeSmart stores or employees, but because of the “above and beyond” service I received from “Hutch” I will always use and refer others to CubeSmart. Hutch is an employee of store 0662 in Monroe CT. I cannot thank you enough Hutch!

My response to dealing with a company who fails and lied so badly… don’t take things at face value, check the local area for more personalized and professional options forst!! First you can predate my move in, then can’t because the guy was being a Moran!? I have had to deal with stress for my interstate move that I was not expecting from something as simple as a storage unit. First the guy predates my move in date, I then had to push it back 3 days in order to collaborate with my moving company, then get told I have to move in that date or pay an extra $190 for the remaining three days after my 30 day period. Not impressed that you would put customers in this situation. So I’ll be reflecting my feelings in online google/yelp reviews as well as not only not using or recommending you. But actively have others avoid you if this is how a move in date works with you. Now I get it that this is likely a franchise, but they still reflect you as a brand and I feel resentful that I even paid for a lock with CubeSmart, let alone trusted you… only reason it’s not too me star is at least he was a polite dude, albeit very unprofessional

This place is absolutely amazing and the staff is insanely accommodating. I had locked myself out and they helped me right away. I forgot my thermos outside my unit and 2 weeks later I came back and the staff came right to my unit and asked if it was mine. They go the extra mile and are very very friendly and attentive. The storage unit was clean and the premises well maintained. I would definitely recommend this company. They even stayed past closing to help me get my initial unit.

I highly recommend this facility. Great prices, convenient location and spotless and secure units that I can park right in front of. In addition, there is a locked gate opened with a code from 6 AM through 10 PM seven days a week, even when the business office is closed. Other local storage facilities have far more limited visiting hours! I dealt with Hutch who was friendly, professional and able to easily and clearly answer all of my questions.

Jason stayed past closing time to meet us. He greeted us by name with a smile and a large dose of hospitality (water bottles, restroom, excellent stereo system). He ushered us through to signup process in about 10 minutes, gave our unit a final sweep, and left us to move our stuff. The unit was clean, dry, and easy to load. We were able to pull our truck right up to the entrance, with the ramp out the back sitting inside the unit. This place is gooooooooood.

I entered into a storage space lease agreement with CubeSmart located at 873 Main Street in Monroe, Connecticut on October 22nd, 2018. Alex Kennedy assisted me with the entire process. She was very friendly and exhibited excellent communication skills over the telephone as well as in person. She informed me of the rates and clearly explained to me all of the details of the terms and conditions of the agreement in a manner that was easy for me to understand. She earned my trust and I developed a peace of mind as she assured me that my valuables would be safe and secure during a brief tour of the facility. I could tell that she enjoys her job and takes pride in her work as she was very thorough and professional. I also observed the courteous behavior that she displayed to other customers. She is a talented individual who is able to multi-task as she was able to tend to other customers while at the same time complete my transaction. I was very pleased with Alex’s level of service. Good experience so far. I rented an unconditioned 10x10 spot in July. Friendly and helpful front desk. The storage unit was clean and easily accessible, although it had some peeling membranes on the roof that they offered to reattach with adhesive (I declined because I was rushed for time)--they assured me it won't leak.

Hutch was great. After traveling across country with a travel trailer, Hutch welcomed me and provided a space to store my trailer for a couple of weeks. Compared to calling the national CubeSmart number and talking with one who knew nothing about storing my trailer in Monroe (even though it is listed on the Monroe website) or anywhere in the U.S.A., Hutch was a sharp contrast. The cost to store the trailer is expensive, with the addition of unseen fees.

I've stored with Cubesmart here in Monroe for years, both my motorcycle in an enclosed unit, and my car in an outdoor parking spot. When I worked at a bike shop and moved locations we also stored some contents of the store here. The staff here are polite and helpful, the facility is clean and accessible, and the prices are reasonable. It's definitely the "go-to" place in the area for storage!

This is a great to store your stuff or rent a truck. The people who run it are TERRIFIC!! Evelyn couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. She helped me choose a unit and went way out of her way to make my move-in as easy as possible. Hutch is a great guy, too. He came by to check on me and see if I needed anything- you can tell he genuinely cares about his customers. I'd give them 5 Stars+++. This my second time renting from Cubesmart, and they are a really good, well-run company to work with. I recommend them highly.

Jaque was very enjoyable to work with. She clearly outlined the contract for my storage unit when I returned to lease it. The facility is extra large with plenty of area to maneuver around. I would highly recommend Jaque and Hutch for you storage needs.

Genuinely friendly service with some humor on the side. I have used this location in Monroe, CT several times for storage. The facility is well maintained and the management is present and courteous.
