Beware of CubeSmart! I had an absolutely terrible experience with this place. Angela, one of their employees, falsely accused me of sleeping in my storage unit—completely baseless and ridiculous. Instead of handling the situation professionally, she was incredibly rude and unprofessional, treating me with suspicion for no reason. I am a paying customer following all the rules, yet I was disrespected and treated like a criminal. This place has no regard for its customers and seems more interested in making baseless accusations and rental increases, instead of providing a decent service. Stay far away if you value fair treatment and professionalism!

Kim is dedicated to providing best customer service above any others. Her knowledge and pleasant professional handling of all aspects make this facility stand out as unique. Attention to detail,patience, and sincere respect for all humans are a few of her characteristics. This type of customer service is rare. The facility is very clean but it is across from a dump. The rates go up continuously and substantially. There is a clean bathroom inside. Ample parking along front,side and rear of building. Well lit lot .easy access from road.

Although this place is across from a dumpster that leaves a terrible scent in the air, the price, convenience, and the helpful staff were worth the price I initially paid. However, 5-6 months later, I've had a 30% price increase. I've never had a storage unit increase my prices, let alone 30%. I am seriously considering moving to a different location. If you choose to go here, beware the price hikes.

I am giving CubeSmart two reviews in one. The pros of the Stratford location are amazing. Easy access from highway, clean, safe location, and their manager, Kim, is absolutely incredible. She is extremely personable, knowledgeable, and responds quickly. This location is IMMACULATE! I’ve been in and out of my unit many times, and someone is always in the facility cleaning when I am there. Need a unit for short term? This is the place to go. There are tons of online deals for those who are looking at pricing. I had a 10x5 at a wonderful, fair rate. (5 Stars) Now the Cons: My rate went up 20% after 5 months in this particular unit, and CubeSmart would not budge in adjusting the price. Kim helped me by keeping my cost down for an additional month, but the company would not lower the price. So I shopped around and found another facility, with another company. I didn’t want to move my things, but since CubeSmart didn’t want to compete in pricing, they lost a really good customer. I was very disappointed. (1 Star) Now the trick: I don’t know if CubeSmart offers this, but the place I went to instead of CubeSmart (I won’t name them here), will also raise your rent just as CS did. But if you pay in advance, they will keep your rate the same for the entire length of your pre-pay. The place I went to allowed me to prepay for 24 months! Now I’m actually paying less for a bigger space (7x10), and my rate is locked in (CubeSmart’s loss). So if you’re getting a Unit, ask them about price increases and prepayment options. You’ll be glad you did. In the end, my message to CubeSmart is this: Kim is a gem. Treat her as well as she treats her customers, because she is a model employee, and an asset any company would be lucky to have. And then, treat your customers with the same level of respect. Your places are great, but your policies about rate increases completely suck.

Inquire on one of the units at the Lordship Blvd location and was helped by the agent name Kim. At the time, I was shopping around for quotes but didn't find what I wanted. Customer Service is poor when it relates to late payments, you made arrangements over the phone but then that's not good enough. They locked you out of the storage unit saying you should put in writing so I guess talking to a representative over the phone isn't good for there system. I've never been late but it's all good.

My rental and check in experience was fantastic. Both Kim and Alex worked with me to set things up. Alex went above and beyond when I arrived to help me find my unit, made sure I knew the rules, and made sure I could work the lock for my unit. Great experience other than no ground level access to the elevator. Do you need to walk up the ramp to the front entrance to input your code in order to get inside to the elevator. Could be challenging with furniture I do not have any furniture but carting some of my personal belongings up the ramp was challenging alone

Yes I'm DEFINITELY changing storage companies IMMEDIATELY. Was a great start, till I CONSTANTLY get calls after calls about when IM gonna pay for my unit. Like I KNOW when I gotta pay and I ALSO know I got 10 days from my pay date to make payment before a late fee is tacked. Ive made payments month later, no problem for me BUT the problem I do have is getting many multiple calls. Like they call so much makes me think they work on commission, also MAKES me want to change companies. And I may just do that.

I reserved a unit online and confirmed online the night before my arrival. My movers had all of my belongings and could not check in. The person there said she couldn’t check me in or give me the key without me checking in in person. My movers were tired and waited for a hour. I called around and found a very accommodating storage facility a few miles away. They checked me in immediately over the phone and my movers went there instead. They also matched the price. Bad business for CubeSmart because I plan on paying rent for two years!

Set up a unit a few weeks before moving in. Received follow up phone calls to check up. Everyone here was was very helpful in what my needs were. Very pleased with the service. Allowed me to pay for a few months ahead. Temp controlled building is perfect no matter what you have to store away. The building is a little hard to navigate off the elevator as all the units look the same you would almost need a map, but as long as you remember your left from your right I'm sure you'll be fine.
