No one ever in the office, need a 8 digit code every time you make a trip to the car, and need it 3 times to access the building, carts always locked in the office and bag everything before you store it because it’s roach infested, no rest room access and god forbid you don’t memorize the code because the door shut on a trip to the car and phone and keys inside… stuck outside for over a hour cause nobody responds to the call button on key pads had to hope someone else came to enter the building..

Do not recommend. Way better storage companies exist. This office is never opened during business hours, the staff is extremely rude, never any carts available. They do not make you feel valued as a customer. They need new staff and management. & don’t you dare voice a complaint to them because they will hang up on you. Will never return. I rather give everything away than to go back.

The internet and phone was down when I arrived to check in; but was able to sign the rental agreement on line with my phone. I saw a mice run across the floor as I entered my unit; now I’m reading the reviews that I should have read prior to reservation. Hope this won’t be a problem. I’m going to put mouse traps down inside my unit and go from there.

Looking for a new place to store my items. Been here for a year and they raised my rate 3 times are already. Dom the manager is the worst because of her attitude and is extremely unprofessional. I'm surprise she is still employed there. I filed a compliant after speaking with her yesterday to headquarters because of her attitude once again since this isn't the first time she has been disrespectful. I was told I would hear from Tony the District Manager within 24hrs but still haven't heard anything from Tony. No one is ever in the office and they lock up the carts which is a BIG inconvenient when you're trying to moving things in and out of your unit. Also I was told that I cant downsize but when I spoke to customer service they said it wouldn't be an issue. DONT RENT FROM HERE!!!!

DO NOT KEEP YOUR THINGS HERE!!! My Father passed, so I stored his work tools here. There were a lot of tools because he owned a construction company. I signed up for the promotion of 1 free month then $425.00 right after per month. After a few months the price went to $505.00. If you pay online it's an extra $10.00 a month. It started off fine minus the price increase but then I noticed it was warm but I didn't pay it any mind. On the few occasions I went to meet buyers I also notice a few black boxes around. I thought they were just preventive maintenance. I decided to move everything out and sell some items while doing so it was really hot. The movers noticed this as well. I decided to help the movers so I grabbed a dolly but when I did a freshly dead mouse fell. As the unit continued to be emptied more dead mice skeletons started to be seen. Thank God it was just tools and no furniture or anything made with fabric. This place is not temperature controlled and there are MICE!!! BE AWARE!

Please do not rent here. The manager Dom has a horrible attitude, and is extremely rude. I have also seen her do drugs on the property. Not to mention the place is infested with mice and roaches. Note that I have never stored food or drinks in my unit. I doubt the building is even climate controlled; it is stuffy and smells like sewage inside. Do yourself a favor, and rent elsewhere.

The reason people put things in storage is because they are going through moving / homelessness/ eviction/ problem's. Money becomes a problem at times and the people sitting in these offices disposable at any time by their job employer will also face these challenges too. When paying 50$ a month is a challenge how can you expect someone to pay 300$ 400$ 500$ at once. Paying the 50$ would be much easier but still at time you don’t have it. But America is in the business of money. It doesn’t matter if your grandfather ashes was inside they are ready to sell it to a person who has the money before a payment plan with the owner who trusted them with there property initially have the opportunity. It hurts it does but you have to let it go. Things you admire will be thrown in trash by a stranger who sees no value.

This place is way too high, almost 200 dollars just to store my things, it was originally around 159.00, then it went up to 189.00 then if you are late you are charged like a 20.00 late fee, which means I was paying over 200.00 if I was going to be a few days late. I stored my things at this location for a year, I removed my belongings on 3/1/2024 was paid up for the month of February and I have proof, so why did I get an email on 3/4/2024 saying I owe 189.00 on 3/25. Ummm no I don't, they saw me remove all of my things I took a photo and video for proof, there was two ladies who kept walking back and forth watching me pack up, one of them was the one who signed me up, and definitely not as friendly as when they were taking your money, when I was done I was going to hand in my keys but both of them got in a car and left, no one was in the office.I don't not owe cube Smart any money and I would never use them or recommend anyone

The person at the desk Dominque is unprofessional rude and arrogant. After over charging me , locking the doors when they see people pull up, etc. she then had the nerve to threaten me with a taser. Worse storage unit place. It’s infested with mice and roaches. Regional manager is HORRIBLE. Hopefully OSHA shuts them down asap. Doing the things they do is a liability and they’re gonna be in for a rude awakening.

At first I loved this place, now my rent has went up $85 and it’s not worth it. The building is so dirty, the floors are disgusting, the bathrooms are out of order all the time, I seen mouse poop in my unit, roaches in the hallways, the carts aren’t available to the customers, the entrance gate is broken, & the employees are not helpful and never available. This place has went down hill. I will be moving out of my unit very soon. My mom is cleaning out her this weekend. I pay $225 a month and it’s not worth it. I’m a unsatisfied customer. I will be moving out my storage unit very soon because this place is a disaster! And a waste of money..

We stored household items/clothes here for 3 months and returned to a mouse infested storage unit. Literally had to go through each item and inspect for damage. When we consulted the front desk they said “you have insurance. Just take pictures and submit a claim”. Acted like they had seen this before. After wasting several hours sorting items, we submitted the claim. Now, only a few hours later, we got an email from insurance saying they do not cover damage from mice. I would not store anything at cubesmart. UPDATE-after my initial post Cubesmart posted below they would like me to email them and they would look into the problem. Crickets….absolutely no response. Run away from this mouse invested place!

Terrible place ! The workers are no help . The insurance is just for extra money and doesn’t protect ur items from damage costed by the lack things that need to be done around the units . I spent 8 months here I had to relocate to another unit due to them jacking up rates but I have to say this place isn’t worth the money. It went down hill fast from the time it opened. Normally everything is locked up carts to help with moving and the bathrooms. Now it’s a complete mess nothing is clean or kept up with. The employees are never around and last night she wouldn’t even check the unit to give me the all clear. This is sad it was a nice place the gate to exit doesn’t work and trash all out back of the building.

I was excited to see that we can pull our vehicles into the building, which was a plus and why I gave this facility 2 stars. However, there is a significant problem with roaches. Upon walking in, I saw these bugs, so I took a photo and googled it to learn it was roaches. I just spent 2 plus hours loading up a rental truck and moving my things. I wish I had physically inspected it prior to renting online, which was a definite mistake as I already paid for first month rent nd other misc fees, like a lock for $17 that I cannot use anywhere else. Very disappointed so far.

There is literally only ONE CART FOR THE ENTIRE FACILITY. Over 100 rental units, ONE cart. The building is not easy to load in/out anything, and it is extremely hot and stuffy inside the "climate controlled" rental area. Don't make my mistake... rent somewhere else.

Shortly after I rented a unit I started to get ads on Facebook with online pricing at 40% less per month than what I am paying and of course it is only available for new customers. Also was told that I had to buy the lock from them for $20 which is about a 300% mark up. And now the carts they have can only be used while the staff is there.

The attitude of the GM at the facility is very unprofessional. I came there yesterday to get the keys to the unit and was completely blown off by her. The email told me the place was open till 7:00p when I got there no one was at the desk. When I was there at 3:30pm the sign on the door said be back at 4:30pm when I got back the sign said 5:00pm. When she finally came out at 6:10pm she said the place was closed. I asked her if I could speak to someone else she said yes called someone asked them what time they closed the person said 6:00pm and she hung up the phone and walked away I never got to speak to anyone, I don't know if it was just a co worker or what but I wasn't happy or satisfied with her behavior. Now I have to deal with my landlord about being in the house longer than allowed.

When I initially started moving items into storage there were many flat carts available but w/in first month all were stolen but one. None were replaced so you either carried everything or waited for flat cart. I brought my own 2 wheeled dolly but that doesn’t work for everything.

Poorly run facility and the regional manager, Mark, is not professional and/or helpful when it comes to this locaiton's elementary staff and front-end office employees e.g., "Dom." This Dom individual is not helpful nor communicable when it comes to facts and details - CubeSmart should take their good branding and leave this facility behind - its a sinking ship and only friends of the front end staff write reviews - perhaps a fact finding mission for management: how many comments/feedback come from those who actually rent from that facility.

EDIT: there’s a bait & switch. Low promo offer that skyrocketed monthly pricing in less than 6 months. I called to discuss the price increase and was told a manager would call me back. No one ever did. The facility is still very nice and clean but I feel like I got scammed on the price. Changing my 5-star rating to reflect this. Online reservation was very easy as well as completing the documents online. Upon arriving to receive my lock and key, the staff were very attentive and quick to get me on my way to my storage unit. Very pleased with the entire process, the staff and the facility.

Customer service by Spencer at the New Castle, DE location was fantastic, I rate him 5 stars. My review is for the facility. The terms as well, I was prepared to rent my unit under their conditions with the $24 admin fee requested. I go to sign the lease. I have to pay for a proprietary cylinder lock and pay for their forced “Protection Plan” so at the final checkout my expected $24 goes up to $55. Very misleading.

I was once a long time customer at i-storage next door and they were infested with rats. The people that worked there didn't respond to the concerns. Came here to Cube Smart and Faison and Kenniyah made me feel right at home with a smooth transition and helped me through the difficult times. Come check out this clean facility.
