Started with the online process which didn't work well. Stopped by in person and had a fantastic experience! First Billy helped me get 2 units reserved. Billy was wonderful to work with. Absolutely the best in self storage. I have used self storage facilities across the country, and CubeSmart is clearly the best. The Apollo Beach location is new, clean and well organized. Rates compare reasonably with competitors, and the facility is FAR SUPERIOR to anything else. The manager, Don, is not only friendly but professional and helpful. I went to CubeSmart in Apollo Beach to buy moving supplies on Saturday, November 9. As I walked in Don gave me a big hello, even though I was worn out from moving all day. That was a true motivator for me, I needed someone to bring me back to life. We talked for a few minutes before I left with my supplies. Don deserves a raise after great service, pleasing personality as well as his ability to energize me to finish my job.

We have had our RV stored with this location for 10 months now. Clean, safe location at a great rate with outstanding management! Recently we had an unfortunate incident were another tenant accidentally damaged our RV pulling out of their space. Unfortunately, due to a pending hurricane they did not (after hours) contact anyone right. That’s when the outstanding customer service came into play, provided by Don Morvillo. He noted the damage on a site inspection walk through, and notified me to come down. He then scanned through the security cameras to gather information for the police report on who, and when the incident occurred. The police arrived to gather information, and Don identified the person, with contact information. He then stored a copy of the surveillance video for future insurance needs as requested by the Sheriff. Don then took the additional step to contact the person, (who fully admitted to the accident) and provided an information exchange between us to achieve resolution. Can’t thank Don enough for his alertness, and attention to detail in helping us work through an unfortunate situation. Thank you CubeSmart and Don Morvillo!

Will never use Cubesmart again. I started renting in April, and this month, they raised my rate by $30. $168 dollars a month for outdoor open vehicle storage. It's not even behind a fence. Ridiculous.

Great place, Don helped me and was very informative! He had a positive attitude and explained the steps of everything. I wasn’t sure about he sizes of the units so he showed me each size (I’m more of a visual person). The prices of the units are a bit on the pricier side, however, my items are inside a secure building, good lighting, in AC, and in a good area. All of these give me a sense of security that my items are in a good place. So even with the price of the units being a bit higher, I feel it’s worth if it your items are important to you! Overall very good experience!

When we first rented our units of 10x20’s they were $300 a month. By the end of the year each unit was $500 a month!! Highly recommend only storing your items for a couple months because of the price increases! Not worth it. Not to mention the one of the doors is broken and although I can’t prove it- one of our boxes had spiders in it because we had put a box at the end of our bed and both of us woke up with gnarly spider bites even though we paid for climate control units.

It was the easiest, smoothest, simplest thing I’ve done in a long time! I signed up online (called to verify there wasn’t a 3 month minimum and if a family member could pick up the extra key), got there & Don already had the unit prepped, my paperwork ready and knew I needed the additional form for the key pick up. This Cubesmart location and especially Don helped us through a tough moving situation. We had to find storage fast and last minute but Don helped make the situation smooth and comfortable. Don communicated with us the entire time, and worked with us through any situations that arose. The facility was clean and indeed climate controlled. Bathrooms on site were spotless. Loading ramp at the back was available for anyone having to back in a truck as well. Everything was very clean and kept in great condition. I don't write Google reviews too often (If I wrote a Google review every time a company asked me, I'd lose my mind) but Don really went out of his way to help us. So, Don was a friggin’ rock star! I had an appointment with Istore storage and when I got there, a week after I gave my Dec page to rent a 10 x5 climate control storage- my unit was gone! Yep, the lady there gave my storage unit away and there was no more available for $64. The next one was $124. Double This lady had no remorse, no sympathy and no solutions. She looked at me with deer lights and said there was nothing that she could do. To make this worse…. She couldn’t find my Insurance Declaration Page! I was devastated! Started calling around and found Don! He literally called around to find me something because he only had a 5x5. Then he checked his computer and called a lady that was supposed to had checked out of a 10x5. He did that for me. Damn Right I paid an entire year! What a guy! Thank you Paulette Bailey

They also DON'T allow food in the units and use pest control services periodically which are ALL PLUSSES in my book????????. The customer attendant named Treasure was extremely helpful. We were able to reserve a unit 2 wks. ahead of time with her help , and then complete the transaction online when we were ready. All of which helped to make my Mom's move go over smoothly. Too much money only needed it for about two weeks feel like a pay for a year smh it wasn’t all that climate control like they said it was had a little ant problem customer service was great the place was clean other than that.. if you don’t mind paying for AC and not getting it .. then it up to you

Treasure assisted us in determining which unit to purchase. We needed a storage unit ASAP because of a bad experience at another rental property. Treasure made the experience great and we will definitely come back if we need another storage unit. She made us feel like we were putting our money in the right place.

I will never recommend cube smart to anyone. I was placed in a unit along the outer wall and the floor was not sealed properly. There is a large gap where the wall and flooring should meet. Because of this, when the wind storms came into the Apollo Beach area due to hurricane Ian, many small reptiles and insects entered my unit, and laid eggs within my items which lead me to have to through away thousands of dollars worth of items. I was advised to file a claim and my claim was denied. I have used other storage companies before and never had this issue. I will be ending my lease with Cube Smart effective immediately.

Their system and security here is very well accommodating, the service Ms. Treasure provided was very informative and she was patient with me she gave me a better understanding of how they can contribute to giving me a good experience with my time there.

I had to book this storage unit last minute as we were initially told by the landlord that we would not have garage access. Early the next day, the landlord did allow us to get in and we no longer needed the storage unit. I spoke to a CubeSmart representative on the phone and she allowed me to cancel the reservation. I really appreciated the courtesy. We do have another storage unit at this location under my wife's name. I would not hesitate to recommend CubeSmart to any family or friends.

The Cubesmart in Ruskin exceeded all of my expectations. Not only was the facility immaculate but the witnessing of the amazing customer service from the General Manager Treasure just blew me away Watching dealing with myself and other customers was the highlight of my day. Treasure was extremely helpful and just keep the mood up due to technology issues and got it working in short order and was able to get me out the door. The gate code worked, overall great shape since it just opened, the ceilings could use more lightening but sounds like that is on the way too. No regrets at all!
