I rented a space online on May 24. I called the next day and left a message that no longer needed the space to please refund me Vacate the unit. I did not hear back. Over the next six days, I left two phone messages and sent two emails directly to the store. Finally, on June 4, I received an email reply that the unit was moved out, but I did not qualify for a refund because I waited too long. That they put in the unit. I never visited the site, I never entered the unit, and I was never was in possession of this lock. They can justify not refunding this transaction is beyond me. It’s an example of Corporate greed when a multi billion dollar corporation wants to keep somebody’s 50 bucks because they decided not to move in. What an unfortunate introduction to CubeSmart Storage.

Helpful & courteous store manager. Disappointed that I couldn't use my own Keyed Discus Padlock, even though CubeSmart uses them to allow clients to self-check-in. I had to purchase their over-priced cylinder lock. Also, I wasn't able to pay online with the link provided when I reserved the unit b/c the website would not accept my valid, unexpired driver's license. I had to go into the store to deal with getting and paying for my storage unit.

Great experience. I leased a unit online relocating from NJ to Florida. Bob, the manager gave me a follow up call and answered all of my questions about the unit and access for the delivery truck coming in. On the day of my truck arrival I waited for my truck to come in and he was very helpful and informative. The unit met my needs for the moment. Once again he helped me sign a new lease for a smaller unit in the same storage facility as I continue to downsize. He was very accommodating with the transition. Thanks! Thanks once again!

Everything was smooth from the beginning. It was convenient to pay although I'm out of town. I only wish there was a way to better keep bugs out of the units. We had quite a bit of hitchhikers when we moved out but it is Florida. Everyone was very nice and professional. Easy to reach when I had to contact them. The day I rented the unit I asked the employee if there were any issues with bugs, mice etc. he assured me they had no issues that they lay out poison and spray annually. I rented the unit for about two months I made sure I had no food or any other perishables in the unit. The day I moved my stuff out I open the door and the very first thing I seen were two cockroaches running across my boxers.

Charging full price ($190 A MONTH) during this pandemic is appalling knowing people are without jobs. Unfortunately I was unable to pay the full amount last month so I paid half, I was told that I would not be charged an overdraft fee and that was a blatant lie. I was charged a $30 late fee and because of this I will be getting my things out of there and never look back. They get you in with the first month free and guess what, you'll still have to pay a 45 dollar sign up fee. My advice to you all is to look elsewhere.

Office hours begin at 9:30 week days. Clearly stated on the door. Every single time I go to pay my bill, no one is in the office until around 11. The excuse from the district manager? They have to go to the bank first thing. Banks open up at 9 and there are multiple within a few minutes' drive. I am moving my storage elsewhere because of this extreme unprofessionalism.

No problems for me with CubeSmart! They were courteous, efficient, and the storage space is clean and easy to access. Price is comparable or less than other storage facilities. A very good experience over all with moving in.

The "one time" administrative fee is a rip-off and not mentioned when you call by phone. The units are un-lit, as they unscrewed the light bulbs. You cannot use your own lock, no matter how heavy duty, so you have to "buy" their lock for $18 dollars. The paperwork is laborious as they push junk fees on you. Use Cubesmart again, NO, not if I can help it. Mark Comerford

We rented a Uhaul to empty out my son's storage unit at CubeSmart for his move. Upon loading the truck, we realized the truck's rear door was stuck and would not close. We called Uhaul and were told it would be an hour before someone could be dispatched. I took a chance and went down to speak with the manager, Chuck. He immediately came down and was able to resolve the issue so that we could be on our way. Would definitely rent a unit with him again!

I called for directions they were closing. I forgot about the time change. Crap! But Chuck the manager said he would wait. Got there and had my storage unit within 15 minutes. Great experience. A nice end to a stressful day!

I have used numerous storage facilities over the past ten years and CubeSmart is comparable to others, but I do not like the hidden costs, which I was not told about until final invoice was printed. There is an administration fee of $22.00, which I have never encountered at any other facility. Renters are required to carry insurance, which starts at $12.00 per month. And if you don't have one of their special locks then you will have to purchase one at $15.00-$16.00. The whole process reminds me of calling a car rental agency and getting an incredibly low price quote... until they add on the fees, taxes, etc., and all of a sudden it isn't much of a deal. I'm using CubeSmart mostly because of convenience.

I went to another storage facility before going here and I am so happy I didn't rent at the other place. This place is clean, the units are nice and clean and the gates stay open until 10 p.m. When I was moving in I left and forgot to not only lock my unit but I didn't even close the door. Within the time I realized it and returned (10 minutes tops) the office had already discovered it and was trying to get in touch with me. Great place, friendly staff and very fair prices.

This is the second time I have rented storage space at the same CubeSmart; wouldn't be here again if the first time hadn't been excellent. Staff members are always courteous, knowledgable, and helpful. The cube is clean, easy to access, and very safe. Can't go wrong with any of that.
