Poor security for the customers units. Not safe! My unit was broken into and now the insurance carrier they provided is saying they no longer working with CubeSmart. Now they telling me that the video doesn’t show anything in regards to my unit. I don’t recommend anyone being there is not secure!!

I walked into this location 30 minutes before they close, and the girl at the front desk was very nasty and very rude. Seems exasperated to deal with me despite the fact .that I had a reservation. I wish I could talk to her. I asked to speak to her manager and she said she was the manager. Then when I asked to speak to the district managers number she called her store manager to come out who was also not very helpful. They did not want to give me their names, wrote down the district managers number, without his name. The employees here are awful.

I mistakenly went to Cube Smart thinking it was Public Storage just a few hundred yards away. Glad I did! Right from the very beginning, I was treated as their number one customer. Their promo prices were cheaper than Public Storage as well. The rental units and elevators were clean and well lit. And there were plenty of flat carts at my disposal. Unlike Public storage who only allows for month to month, at Cubesmart I was able to prepay up to the end of September. I'm a Cube Smart fan for sure.

We have had a large theft of out of our supposed secured storage which we bought the lock for our unit from Cubesmart. The lock was not broken. Cubesmart will not assist with providing video footage or any help. No financial compensation has been offered. I am moving the rest of my things out ASAP. The storage had poor security and because of it there was a break in a couple of months back, there was also a rat infestation which messed up all the coolant and A/C hoses in my car when i tried to complain to see if the endurance would help with the costly expenses they basically told me tough luck. While the staff was very helpful and friendly, the monthly rate increased by 250% in about 3 years (a5 x 6 closet). As a retiree, this is simply too much money. Dollies were often unavailable, meaning I had to carry things to and from the unit, making multiple trips. It also seems like there was a water leak at some point since some boxes had obvious damage.

Don’t even rent at this storage. I work as a mover and while doing a move someone stole one of our moving equipments. We talked to the manager to check the cameras, and were told that the cameras only point towards the entrance or exit. Your stuff can be stolen and they’ll never find out who it was.

This place was the dirtiest builing i have ever stepped foot in. Do not rent a storage there. Mexicans live in there and they have a way the bypass the gate code to get in. They also have a way the jam the gate so that its out of sevice so then the gate just gets left open for days at a time until it gets fixed. I have rented storage units for years, never have i been in one this bad. They should give these units for free. And even still its so dirty i would have to think about it

Excellent! The staff is helpful and friendly. They understand moving is a stressful process and go out of their way to be of service. The facilities are clean, well lit and temperature controlled, so you are not uncomfortably hot while moving. Their parking space can accommodate an 18 wheeler truck, which is not common. The staff answered all my questions, gave me a tour of the facility, helped with with the whole process. Now I just stored some items without running into any problems, and it was a breeze. The place was clean, air conditioned, was able to park my truck in the shade and in a secured gated facility. This has made my process of moving not so nerve rattling. The staff here and manager are over the top and amazing. I come in with a lot of problems and leave each time with them solved. They go above and beyond to help me keep my items properly stored in an Effie net and cost effective way. We have two units here because of how convenient and easy they make my families and I life doing business with them is a great idea on your behalf if you are looking for caring people who understand you on a different level. I recommend this place to store and we have been with them for 2 going on 3 years now as you can imagine cost does go up in that amount of time but even with the price slightly increasing I’m still able to financially manage to be with them. 10/10 for everything customer service, efficiency, accuracy, friendliness and cleanliness.

So I got a call on the 10th of December, letting know that my unit was broken in. The staff member asked when can I come in to audit the unit to see if anything was missing. I advised him I was out of town, and I could make in on the 14th. I asked him when was the unit broken into he advised on the 12th of November. I asked him why did it take so long to contact me; he told me that they had called me previously. I took the time to look at my phone recorders and found the only time they called me was for late payment. I did, in fact lost one item that was dear to me. If I'm the manager of this location, I would look into why was I notified late and what procedures I would look into so this does not happen again.

She was so professional, knowledgeable and understanding. I own a small business down the street from this location. I needed a little space to keep my overstock. My husband made a reservation for me to rent a 5X5 unit. I walked into this location to complete my lease, but only to found out I dont have a reservation. My husband made a reservation for public storage not Cubesmart. The general manager must of heard us from her back office because she came out and told me she was able to accommodate. Not only did she convince me to get a bigger cube, she organized it for me in a way I was able to go in and out quickl and utilize my 5X10X8. She was amazing. I would highly recommend this location for all your storage needs. Her staff are mini versions of her. You will receive top notch customers service. Edmo is amazing and will always put a smile of your face. Ileana is so sweet, you want to bottle her up and take some with you. Absolutely love them their. Thank you Raysa ..

I just went in to the cube smart in Cutler Bay. I had a wonderful experience. I have had several units here over the years and the customer service has always been great. But today, I had the good fortune of dealing with the General manager Raysa Ramos and one of her employees, Sergieth. They were both awesome. They were extremely friendly, super attentive, they got me a great deal on a larger unit, and I couldn’t be any happier. This location has been around awhile. I must say the current GM (Raysa Ramos) is, hands down the best of the best. This company should copy whatever she does and apply to the company. She greeted me with a glowing smile. She is very knowledgeable. Be very careful with this location. I rented a space there for my new RV in May and it got damaged just a few months later. They did not have cameras to see how it happened, but it looks like it could have been the landscaping company. Raysa, the store manager, was very helpful, but the district manager, Nestor Alvarez, was no help and very unprofessional. I had to contact their corporate office and got a call back from one of their VP’s, Brett Hoffman, who was professional and apologized for the damages and poor service. The damages were over $2,500 and I had to report them to my insurance company. I was not careful enough to review their insurance clause because I trusted that they would have better security, but I was wrong. I took my RV to Public Storage. Much better space, facility and security.

I had to give 1 star but doesn't deserve giving a review. It's a waste of my time. I really have to warn people because I must say that I have been discriminated by this storage center. But let me inform you that I have had the worst experience. I had my storage unit for about 3 years + months. Because I had a sick father and was not able to know when I would be taking it out because of his illness. Well when it came the time to remove my things because he needed my room for his hospital bed and medical equipment. Well I had a large unit on a climate controlled space. As I started removing my belongings I saw wholes in my boxes... chewed at the bottom and the horrendous smell of urine as well as mouse or rat droppings on the sofas and dining chairs. My whole life past and unreplaceable children photos and other things that could not be replaced. I'm disabled and have a low profile immune system that required me to leave my things there. At the time my unit was paid up to date and was going to close my account. I expressed to the staff what was happening aboyt the rats and I was told to call this person then another one and so on. I left messages with each one with no response. One of the managers was empathetic to my issue but had no control of what was to and depended on the higher up people to handle it. Well, I thought I did what I was supposed to do but waiting for the people to get back to me I was getting charged for the unit even though my things have been destroyed. So...I was not paying for a unit that was infested with rats or mice and unable to remove the items because of my health and had no money again to rent a truck and to pay for help to remove my things. Well...I got a letter stating my things were going to auction. I told them when it happened the day I noticed that the things were destroyed and I needed compensation on it. I also had precious pics and things that I wanted. This has yet been resolved, the person that had bought my things in auction never showed to pay so I'm getting fees left and right and totalling now in the thousand +$. I'm at the point where I will get someone to retrieve my belongings and my balance should be dropped due to the rodents destroying my things with urine & feces on my things. I shouldn't be held liable because I took measures at the start with no reply or help from the managers ect. about my unit. If I could give a negative+10000 I would. At this point I believe since I'm disabled and on a fixed income I'm being treated terribly. I have paid for that unit to furnish a 2-3 homes by the time I was vacating and had been paid up to date. Please be warned....the cubesmart in Cutler Bay close to Home Depot is infested with rodents in climate controlled & was treated terribly. I believe I have been treated this way because I'm disabled and they know I don't have much money that I have been discriminated against. I have to see what I can do about this because my balance is growing each day and they know that I cannot pay this amount. Please be warned!!!

I'm giving this site a 1 star NOT because of the site manager Raysa or because of the staff both are fantastic. I'm giving this site a 1 star because of their General Manger Nestor Alvarez and the accounting dept at HQ. I canceled a unit at the end of Dec 2017 and I have only just received my refund this week. The site mgr Raysa has been fighting for this for months and when I finally spoke to the GM he acted like he had never heard of my problem. Raysa has been the only one has communicated with me, the GM never called to let me know the refund was coming (got that call from Raysa) and I'll bet he won't follow-up either. CubeSmart is great renting you a unit but getting your refund at the end of your stay just might be a problem.

I must share my experience about this establishment because it exceeded my expectations on all levels. I have been a customer of this Cubesmart location for about 2 plus years. I was laid off from a job of over 17yrs and then was forced to sell my home. The sale went quick and I needed somewhere to store my items. Never having to use a storage before I wasnt sure what to look for. Went to Cubesmart website where I received an unbelievable special, and then visited the office where I was introduced to Pat who was an absolute pleasure to talk with and explained everything in depth and clear that I did not have any questions after her thorough explanation about renting a unit. I moved to Central, FL for a year and a half and upon returning I realized I needed to downsize to a smaller unit. A little anxious about the whole downsizing I returned to the office and Pat was not there. I asked was Pat off and this young man named "William" asked if he could help me and he did! He explained about what was available, costs and proceeded to give me a tour. Once we returned to the office a coworker named "Elizabeth" asked if everything was okay, and of course it was, but she joined in and helped to expedite the transfer. I greatly appreciate the teamwork and customer service I received and will/would recommend this location without a doubt. Thank you so much for treating every individual I have witnessed enter your establishment, with respect and in a timely manner. Wonderful!!!

I never knew why CubeSmart had a logo saying "Did we Wow you today" until I met Ms. Pat Tolle @ the Cubesmart on 19395 sw 106th ave, Miami , Florida 33157. After meeting this wonderful lady she really gave me the true meaning of WOW. Not only she conducted herself in a professional way but she went way beyond her call of duty to help me. The first WOW I got was Mrs. Pat Tolle explain to me different ways I can use my storage unit. I never thought people use their storage unit as closets and as a office . I'm like WOW I never thought of this because having a storage unit is very new to me. The second WOW I got was , I didn't realize time and the store was closed. I really needed a box because my had broken. so I went to the door and there goes Mrs. Pat sitting there doing her closing. Me I thought business was still open. I really needed a box. So here I goes rushing to the door . Pat told me the store was closed. So I waved here over to the door showing praying hads saying I need you. So Mrs. Pat got up patiently and calmly and she open the door. I said " I really need a box, please help me". Mrs. Pat says calmly ok. How many boxes you need. I said 1 only. She said Ok. I said to myself, Wow thank you sooo much. Ok After I got the box then I proceeded to my storage unit. when I got to my unit; I noticed another lock on my storage. I instantly said to myself. WOW. So all I can do was think of Pat hoping and praying she was still there in the office. So I ran down stairs praying and when I got to the door; Pat was still there. I knew the store was closed but I was thinking I cant take all theses boxes back to my car. I saw Pat sitting there still doing her closing . I said to myself again "WOW" . Thank God Mrs Pat is still there. I waived her again to the door. Mind you this all happen in one day. Here come Mrs. Pat again patiently and calmly to the door again. When she open the door, I said Pat I need you! Please help me again. Mrs. Pat said in a calm voice. "whats wrong". I said Pat my unit has another lock on it. It must be a mistake because I just got the storage unit today. Pat said no problem its an error when the other young lady did a walk through. I will go up there and take the lock off. I said WOW. Thanks! I told Mrs Pat that I really got WOW in soo many ways . I truly Got WOW. Learning different ways to set up my storage unit was a BIG WOW!. I had no idea. Excellent customer service and being there when needed is really a BIG Wow. All this in one day. Mrs Pat Tolle is an outstanding employee going beyond her call of duty. She helped me when the store was closed. I interacted with her all day and just meeting her for the first time. I feel like I known her longer than that. She is really and outstanding person !!! So Yes I got WOW today and thanks to Pat Tolle I really do understand the MOTTO. It was a WOW in soo many good ways.

I have been a customer for more than a year and I must say that this location has been the best self storage I have ever used. The staff is exceptional and the building is in great condition. The only problem I had with them was that they did not reimburse me for turning the unit in early, which I found to be unfair and uncourteous... Therefore, I gave it a 4/5. Otherwise, excellent choice.

Great staff and the only one in the area that gives discounts. The manager I believe his name is Bob was FANTASTIC. I need an additional space after hours and he came back to the office to accommodate me. I would not have been able to complete my move with out him.

This facility wend down hill in the past couple of years. Mainly safety issues, the property is totally unprotected, the gates never work and anybody can enter and break into the units at any time, not to mention the danger for the tenants. I have myself kicked out some transients that use the empty units to sleep. The entire building smells like a toilet and sincerely I don't understand how somebody has not gotten robbed or killed there. I sent a thorough email detailing all the issues and it was not even acknowledged, therefore I cancelled my lease.
