I went to retrieve holiday decorations in November from our expensive air conditioned unit only to find our items covered in rodent excrement. Since then we have yet to receive a call or an email back from Cubesmart even after multiple emails and voicemail messages asking for someone to get in contact us. Now our items are ruined, Cubesmart is ghosting us and our card continues to be charged until we remove and dispose of our damaged items. Sorry, we are not risking Hantavirus and neither should you! Don’t trust these guys, we regret doing so!

Had 2 units rented out. The “climate controlled” space is scorching hot. The people that work here are incredibly rude and the worst customer service I have ever experienced. They lied about a mistake made when closing one unit, they even checked it after and did not refund what they owed me on it, even after being promised a refund. The bathrooms are disgusting. It is a horrible place that I would not recommend to anyone.

I would give zero stars if I could, the customer service is the worst I have ever expierienced, mean and aggressive. There has been human poop in the hallway in front of my unit. Human poop all over the bathrooms. I had rats and bugs in my unit. Anytime I brought anything up to the staff they were mean and aggresive. I even had mold here before. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT RENT HERE.

Another associate named Carol also helped me use their rolling cart for easy access moving in all my belongings. A DEAD RAT IN MY UNIT!!!! I’ve only been renting for a few months and already there are rodent droppings and urine on my items! Rodents are chewing through everything!! It’s not even safe when coming out of car due to the raccoons that are everywhere! This place is digesting. Many of my material items were ruined by rats that nested and crapped and pissed on everything. Boxes of books and vintage furniture were ruined by water damage from a pipe breaking on the fire sprinkler system. And if you plan to store anything for an extended period of time in a non-climate-controlled unit, expect the humidity and bugs to ruin that too. The ONLY good thing is the onsite customer service. ***UPDATE*** It was lip service when they said to reach out in their review response. I did, and was told they would “investigate,” but then they never did (or they don’t want to take responsibility for all the damage). If I could give this company less than zero stars, I would. DO NOT RENT HERE.

I had 2 jet skis stolen from this premise in 2019 only I had to put a claim into my personal insurance since “corporate” said they can’t help me. I’ve also had my storage since 2017. I just had rodents feces and urine stains on everything. I put a claim under the Great American Insurance that I’ve been paying for every month just to tell me that I’m not covered under my policy for rodents. While the employee went to take pictures we saw someone in his underwear living inside one of the units.I’ve already had to move to a cleaner and more safe and secure facility for more than half the cost I was paying with ubesmart. I will never recommend them since they don’t take care of the customers and the location is a complete disaster and corporate doesn’t acknowledge since I’ve been a customer for such a long time!!

One of my worst experiences as a customer. 1) Management is impossible to contact. No one is ever in the office. They do not answer the phone. They do not return calls. Completely unprofessional. 2) They need to maintain this place much better. How much would it cost to repaint the numbers on the parking spots? My problems with this place began because a boat was parked in the spot I paid for to keep my truck. I took the truck out for a couple days and came back to a boat parked in my spot. Repainting the lot would’ve likely prevented this issue. Instead management took a week just to place a 24 hour tow notice on the boat. A week after that and the boat was still there. The entire time management refused to contact me. It was not until I cancelled my contract that they finally called me. ?????

DO NOT RENT HERE! I only had my items in an indoor storage unit for 6 months before all of my stuff was destroyed. The place must have flooded or a bad roof leak because all of my items are water damaged and covered it mold. The general manager Walter is an extremely rude and condescending man. The photos speak for themselves. I was also told by one of their employees that the place floods every once in a while but they don't notify any of their customers if it does. They just let peoples stuff remain wet while it rots and gets moldy. Update - Cubesmart responded to my review and told me to reach out. I did. They couldn't bother to respond. Update 2 - Regional Manager told me he would get back to me and then proceeded to ignore my calls for two weeks. They couldn't care less about their customers. Do not rent here. You will regret it!

Sat on curb 40 minutes during "open" hours waiting for someone to open office. (Two other customers left) After opening, I was told that I am alone here and was at another's unit. My new unit had dust and loose dirt in it and two of six "hall" lights were inop, over my unit, of course. A friend's unit has huge piles of scrap plastic and paper where rodents have made nests. There are no trash barrels or cans where trash papers or water bottles can be disposed. I understand that people should remove their own trash but that never seems to happen, does it? Recommendations: add a person so Office is always staffed. Better sweeping of vacated units. Better maint for lighting. Add a trash barrel in each drive.

Stay away from this place. I was 10 minutes late after 10pm and gate locked and I stuck inside of facility . Customer support gave me emergency gate code which didn’t work. Manager was not answering phone calls. They advised me to leave the vehicle inside , use pedestrian exit and call Uber and come back tomorrow to take the truck back. Moving company charged me 1000$ extra for all inconveniences “overnight fee” !!!! Unacceptable customer service!

Like new customers you will be ok at the beginning. After promotion the price goes up. After few months be ready for another one and like that every 6 months. Cursed at by other renters for driving in the wrong entrance. There is no signage showing one way, or not. It should be one way as 2 cars can not pass each other. The current lack of a system is very dangerous as the one truck and two cars cursing at me could easily lead to violence! People in South Florida are rude and unpredictable. I wouldn’t even give one star if I could. I don’t know who people have been dealing with at this location that they think is so great and helpful, but my experience couldn’t be farther away. It's sad. I know the pandemic messed up things but if a little pride was taken things could be better. When did we start having bad smells? Is someone secretly living in their unit. It's smells like rotting potatoes on the 2nd floor. I understand Florida, mildew,etc after all I was there a few years back when the roof leaked and damaged my furniture. No carts ever. Usually only 1 person there so no help. No one returns phone calls. I'm only still using them because I suffered a back injury and officially don't have the ability or finances to move my belongings elsewhere at the moment.

I have been a client for several years. They now have a rat/mouse issue. They are poisoning them so the end up dying in yours or another unit. All my stuff now smells like dead animal. Management has been less than responsive in taking responsibility and fixing the issue and cleaning my property. I can no longer suggest them as a faculty to use.

Very bad place to park your car long term! Parking is over dirty sand and nobody cares for your car! But they are ready to charge you $215 monthly ! I changed credit cards so my auto pay did not go thru, so they called me to update the credit card I did and it wanted to charge me a $1.95 convenience fee I called a few days ago a lady at the Dania office said that she could not waive the convenience fee even though I updated it with a new card and was an auto-pay, so I had to go in and pay at the store, is not the money/fee is the principle that they find any excuse not to help you, more fees = corporate greed.

Reserved outside 20' space for 3rd year in a row at this facility in Dania Beach, FL for our empty boat trailer for winter. Viviana called me to confirm reservation and was horrible and argumentative to deal with on phone. Our credit card was charged first months rent on 10/16. When my husband arrived with trailer Oct 25th, Viviana argued we had a 32' boat trailer and wouldn't let us park it in spot reserved. She caused a scene in front of many customers and argued repeatedly with my husband on the size of our trailer... measured spot she wants us in and it was 14' long... we paid for 20'.... Customer service was HORRIBLE. She said she has only been there 3 weeks (zero customer service). Received invoice where they want us to pay first months rental again. This girl has no clue and should not be in customer service.

Worst place hands down. Customer for over a year rats ate all my stuff including a 2500 bedroom set and a touch screen PC was told they aren't responsible for the rats due to the fact they had a bad exterminator until June. While I was moving out I could hear the rat party in the unit next door and they just said oh well. Horrible place high prices bad service when she shows up. They raise the price every few months. They have zero customer loyalty.

I was very impressed on how clean the Entire place is. It seems secure with an fence that’ll open once you enter the code provided. The Manager is on the premises most of the day. Wendy was very courteous and helpful and used her golf cart to take me to the unit. The Contract was Not confusing and when I reviewed it with her, there were no surprises and no added costs. I was able to take advantage of a promotion that gave me the first month free, only abone time Administrative fee of $25. It’s a very large building with Easy Access to the unit. A Pull/push flat cart is available, at no extra charge to help you unload items from your car, into the unit. I bought their lock for $17. It’s a strong lock and I get to keep it afterwards.

This was a great opportunity at a awesome rate. The facility was confidently located near the airport. I found the staff to be very helpful and the facility to be very clean. The unit was free from debris and move in ready.. We were able to secure a temporary storage unit for our extra household goods before we move. This helped us stage our house for showing. By removing clutter the house looked more livable and inviting. If not for Cube Smart we may have never sold our home.

I'm only rating it two stars for customer service and location other than that, this is the worst cubesmart I've ever been to pertaining to looks and how old the facility is. The building is 50 years old and you have to put your stuff on the dirty ground. I did not know it looked this way until I got there do I will only be renting this 5×10 for a short month or less because of how the facility looks. But the customer service I received was excellent but I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was storing my boat at this facility and in less than a month of being there, someone attempted to steal it. A piece of my lock on the trailer had been cut. The facility told me they couldnt see anything on camera because of how dark it is. And the parking spot was in a pretty open area. Plus side is The staff is very nice and helpful. I was very please with the staff! He did a great job. I was unhappy to find that I requested a 7 X 10 foot Climate controlled unit. (70 Sq Feet.) was in fact was originally a bathroom. Plumbing in the floor and wall are still there an prevent use of space. After I moving into the space and put up shelves I realized the space was not 10 X 7. I measured the room that has an odd shape to be only 61.25 Sq Feet.

This place is a joke. The building is huge so most likely an available unit will be somewhere far into the building. There are no carts available anywhere to move your things. As per the manager, they are supposed to be located on each end of the building but after walking around the entire place which is like a maze, one was nowhere to be found. While the price is was attractive, The thought of needing access to my unit after hours and no cart available was all it took for me to move on to a more organized place.

There ok but they dont work with you anymore if your having bad time or short cause new job or something the re cool people but your items will be auctioned off every other month with 110 late fees and more fees they are kinda hush hush with not helping you and pointing fingers around it seems there all mangers and stuff so it's ok but if you want family type of store employees or family type of reasoning then dont go there at all it's ok if you have an emergency but it opens late and close early so you will get locked out not a 24 hr access and pricing is not much cheaper than anywhere I have spoken to few older employees they claim it's going bankrupt so they probably have different names in year or two avoid if your smart

We were locked in! The gates wouldn't open until someone came along who had experience with the specific emergency code to free the 3 of us hostages. But the worst part is the driving surface; deep gulches alternate heaving asphalt mountains that are the highest peaks in South Florida. Do not store fragile items here; they will not survive the journey. A hearing aid is recommended when opening and closing your storage door. Too many storage facilities in SoFlo to bother with this one.

Donald took me to the storage unit and it turned out to be smaller than I expected. Donald immediately called the office to check on other available units which he then showed me. I’ve used other storage units in Florida since I’ve moved down here two years and this one is by far the best!! Starting with Monica in the front office. She was very attentive to us showed us all of our options and personally drive us around to check the options. We also asked her for help getting storage spot for our boat and age kept in touch with us on a regular basis till she could get us one. Very pleased with the customer service location and cleanliness. Highly recommend to anyone looking to store anything from their house to a an automobile or boat!

Wow. I am rarely impressed with customer service these days but this company is definitively doing something right. My boyfriend and I showed up about 10 minutes before they were about to close because we needed to rent space for our new boat. They were busy but we were still greeted with a smile and the manager, Stephanie, happily stayed late to make sure that we were taken care of. She even drove us around the facility to help us find a spot that better fit our needs. Jonathan and Charlie chimed in and helped answer some of our questions as Stephanie was processing our paperwork. All three of them were so friendly and helpful. There were no hidden fees, up charges, or surprises which was so refreshing. Overall, the best customer service I've experienced in a very long time.

Got there on a rainy afternoon with my truck loaded I didn't call or reserved anything so I was worried about pricing and availability, walk in the office and a friendly Manager STEPHANIE G. Solved all my problems took her time to show me what she had available, and she was able to accommodated me and if that wasn't enough she went thru my account and save me money by adding my homeowner insurance to my storages premium thats right my montly payment went down even more. We have left our car here for many winters and have always been very pleased. However, this time was the best yet. We did not get the name of the gentleman but when we checked our car out, he told us he had noticed a bulge on one of our tires. As we have to drive all the way back to Canada, not noticing such a thing could have been disastrous and we don't think we would have thought to check as this was a new car. Best Storage so far If one needs somewhere safe, peaceful, accessible, convenient, etc...as a place to store your extra things, Cube Smart Storage in Dania Beach, by FLL airport is the place. I have been doing business with them for a while now, and until now, I cannot find anything to complain about. Great place, great customer service, great crew.
