I like Cubesmart facilities as they are always clean, well-lit, accessible, and the customer service is great. The only complaint I have is that Cubesmart increases their prices too often and you can receive an increase notice 2-3 times in a year. Not cool!

It’s great if you need short term storage - less than six months. It’s clean and well-maintained and seems secure. The catch is that they will raise your monthly rate by about 20% as soon as you get to six months. Spoke to the management and the only answer is “we can’t do anything about your initial increase.” They don’t tell you, but they plan that increase from the start. Be prepared!

I had a unit here for around 6 months. The staff were absolutely amazing, everything was transparent as far as agreements and pricing goes. My unit was completely clean upon move in and the common areas were kept immaculate. Matt in particular went above and beyond to provide exceptional service anytime I was in the office. Beware once you get in and get the contract they will raise the rent over you. Ours went up over $100 and I had to go and move everything out because we couldn’t afford to pay the hundred dollars extra month that we were not told about when I ask why they said that all of their units were filled so they needed the units. That’s why all the rents were going up when I went there every day to get things, all the units were not filled up I asked if they offered a Veterans discount and was told no . Not a trust worthy company.

My car and trailer got broken into. Don't get me wrong, the place is great, clean and the staff is extremely helpful but more security would be greatly appreciated I ended up with $600 in damages and I only knew few weeks after the fact and no explanations about getting my money back, or my trailer repaired. As a result, I decided to sell everything and move out. At least I was getting charged on the day of my moved so they gave the money back with no issues at all!

The place is ok..indoor storage is clean. However, we reserved a COVERED spot for our RV and when we got there they put us in an uncovered spot. I wasn’t happy but thought at first the price wasn’t too bad. We also rented a small indoor unit as well. We thought the prices were decent at first. However, we had to pay all these “extra fees” for signing up which was over $120! Then we were supposed to get an FREE month for both units and we never did! They “prorated” our first month! THEN, after 1 MONTH they increased the prices and then the 3rd month they did it again! Started paying around $150 a month for the RV lot and ended up pay over $275 a month! All the while they are advertising “free months” etc! We have been paying over $377 mth for their SMALLEST indoor unit and an uncovered/unprotected outside unit! We have removed the RV because we can’t afford their prices now and have gone elsewhere where we are paying $120 mth for a COVERED spot! We are keeping our indoor unit for now…but plan to move it in the new year. NEVER again will I use them! I never had this issue with using U-Haul and I only moved to CubeSmart because our U-Haul was too far away. Service was ok, but CubeSmart isn’t anything special compared to other places and there is no need to rip people off!

Rented from here starting May 2022 after reviews from friends. Wonderful staff, so helpful. Very clean. Once move in special expired realized could fit into a smaller unit to save money. Staff helped us stay in same building, same isle so moving was easier. Just moved out 1 year later, again staff super helpful. Very secure storage, security cameras every where. Again very clean. Never saw any pests. Had carts to help move items so buying a dolly wasn't needed. Will gladly rent from again.

Update: I’m dropping my 5 star review down to 2 because they are ridiculously expensive there price increased only after a few months of being with them and it came at the wrong time when I was dealing with some financial hardship. I have 2 storage units 1 with Extra Space storage and 1 with them, and they have went up on the price twice and lfe storage once and they worked with me and brought the price back down. Another thing I don’t like with Cube Smart you cannot pay probate if you want to move out early. I’m done. Easy gate access in and out of the facility. The fact that I don’t need to put a code to leave is a big plus! I like the facility layout at the location.

Both of those are very minor. My principal complaint, and the reason I didn’t give it 5-stars is that you have to buy a specific $20 lock that is completely useless.

I needed a storage unit to use for a month to help move out. This place was very convenient since I lived down the street. The staff was very helpful in obtaining me a storage unit. They showed me the different options in person. This was excellent to visually see the space so I can determine if it was the right space. I managed to use every space inside the storage unit. The A/C unit inside the building was superb in keeping things cool. The structure of the building survived the hurricane storm in October 2022. Nothing was damaged within my store unit. There are trolleys to use, if you can find them around. I paid a fair price for what I needed in the short time. The office lobby offers packages/moving supplies if needed. I purchased a storage lock for my storage unit. It worked just fine. I would recommend this business for any storage needs.

Unfortunately was bad Experience, Before made the Reservation we been very clear with the staff if the Rv and boat has an electric. That was our priority concern about. Unfortunately the Plug areas doesn’t work at all. When i sign the contract was asking and made sure. The Lady let us know is able to Run a Refrigerator and the battery of the RV, Which that was not true at all. Next day went to the place and was not power at the Spot. When i spoke to the Employee the told us the power was out and they has issues on their power system many days ago. I pretty much get very frustrated the Fact how they sold the spot with out electric. I ask them why they dont let us know about the issue, and we can saved the time and found a different location. The Unprofessional staff there answer was. U can take ur RV to a Different place if u want. I contact the General Manager to get a Solution and explain why the staff dont be honest to us about there Power issue, which i need answer. The GM been son nasty and rude and Yelling to my person by phone. Pretty much there no anwers of how they liar to us just to sold a spot. He get so mad like a getto from street. Very unprofessional and dont gived me answer or solution. Pls be careful when go to that place. Making sure the power is work. They liar, unprofessional no solution. When i required a answer the General manager get crazy yelling like Physco. Pls we need a profeccional staff and Honest. Thanks

On day one the manager was courteous and most helpful. He assigned me a unit convenient to get to and personally took me to it to see if the size was good. I am a retired Navy officer and since retirement have moved more times than my 25 years of service. I have experience many storage facilities. This is the finest I have used. The floors sparkle! Roadways and building spotless clean. Staff friendly and courteous. I the managers are super friendly. A senior officer I admired greatly and worked for would say as his highest compliment if I did something "You done good". The folks at this CubeSmart done good.

So everything about moving can be emotional whether it is stress or excitement it's going to require and tax your emotions, body, time and of course your money. I have moved before so I know the drill but this time amidst the process something unexpectedly pleasant transpired. I find that my closing (new home) was a week after leaving the current home, no that wasn't pleasant news but it meant I needed a hotel and storage. Initially I googled places for storage but the hold wait times and sales pitches and prices forced me to go check what was near my home personally. This is where things get better. First let me say CubeSmart looks amazing from the street bright and inviting. So I go there and I'm greeted by a very cordial representative he was patient, knowledgeable and had no problem answering all of my questions. He explained everything thoroughly and he even took me on a tour to see both the air conditioned unit the the 15 and 20 foot units. The units were fresh, clean and go up to 35ft (everything in your house and you car can squeeze in ??) He explained the prices, the specials and the 24 hours self entry secure access. I can not say enough about Matthew and his excellence at this process. He had a demeanor that took the edge off. What CubeSmart offers drew me in and Matthew well he made it easy for me to commit and he remembered my name(Aretha not to difficult but still). From beginning to end everything about this process was positive. Thank you CubeSmart and thank you Matthew.
