Cubesmart 349 W. Hillsboro Blvd, Deerfield Beach 3344, Bay #2 The 10x10 storage bay that I had for years, was infested with Palmetto Bug Roaches. I didn't know that until I moved out. When I moved out yesterday a very expensive Stearns and Foster king size bed was at the very back of the bay. The mattress was wrapped in a mattress bag and was still full of roach droppings. I had to to pay the movers to throw it away, that bed sells for $2,000,00. There were also roach dropping in most of the cardboard boxes I had stored, many with dead roaches inside. Apparently they don't use an exterminator. The reason why I moved was that I found a similar storage bay for half the price. Cubesmart kept raising the price from : $214.25 I paid initially to $475.50. They more that doubled the price over the years. Beware of this company, unfair pricing and bug infested

Ufortumately we went to move on and the elevator didn't work, no one at office nor answering calls or email. Not sure if elevator doesn't work when no one is in office or not but no one told us.we had an entire truck load and no way to get up stairs. Girls at beginning were great but if we cannot go in or out of unit when no one is in office that is a problem. This was Sunday at 11 am.

The staff are delightful. Went the extra mile to be helpful, five stars all the way. The actual layout of the units makes it difficult to access some of them, Access could be 24 hours and could use more bathrooms , but overall the place is in good condition. I would rent from here again

We had rats in our unit and brought it to the attention of the manager, rat box was added outside and traps laid inside, and they told us we could move units when one came available. Months and months go by and we were never called in regards to another unit; I check online what the unit rates are going for since we were interested in moving units at that point. I find that our unit is priced online 25% cheaper than what we were paying (for our rat infested unit), only to see that another unit TWICE THE SIZE of our unit was also cheaper than what we pay monthly. I called the manager to see what we can do about getting into another unit given these circumstances. I ask about that new rate and it’s apparently only for new customers so there was nothing she could do for me except switch to another unit (smaller). I ask if my husband can create an account and she says no it’s the same person. Mind you I am not my husband as we have two individual social security numbers. This woman flat out did not want to help me, and I was still polite the entire time! I was told that “from what you just told me it sounds like you’re just trying l to save money”- as if I had no right to be upset for paying more for a rat infested unit. Poor customer service and I didn’t appreciate the way I was spoken to. I called the main customer service number for assistance as I felt it was getting too nowhere with this locations manager.

So far this location has been really great. Always access to carts, elevator, and the entry here which was a problem at my last storage. Also the layout is more easily maneuverable and spacious than the last. It’s older but I can tell it’s clean and my belongings are clean, protected, and won’t smell unlike 2 Public Storage locations that I’ve used. There haven’t been any inconveniences that I faced at Public Storage, whose locations are popping up everywhere now. Ladies at the front were very pleasant and helpful. Thank you to them for making it a good experience.

Check carefully pictures of what you bought Unit was robbed by staff (the door was sealed) Rude staff After auction cancelation my account in storage treasure website was suspended (the manager was not happy because I found the missing items) Next time it is better to call the police, they will find easily who stole the missing things under the sealed door. oh I forgot, they have many many cameras... only 3 was working for the whole territory.

Nice staff but they will raise your rates year after year. For example I paid over 240 a month. If I go online today I can get the same unit for 100 bucks less. I made several calls to corporate and the store and months later I got a slight reduction in my fee. If I cancelled and got a new unit I would have paid nearly half of what they charge me. I sent a friend and she pays less than half of my rate for a larger unit. They say it's due to "supply and demand", I say move your stuff in and every year they will reward you for your loyalty with a generous increase in your monthly rate.

Watch your monthly invoicing. Auto pay creeps up. from mid 200.00 to over 300. now. Manager is difficult to get ahold of by phone. left many messages and no return call. Ask to reduce my OVER 300.00 and she stated its "real estate" and demand. I let her explain (talk) as she blamed the district manager for the rate jump. it was not up to her. said she has no control of it. I ask, "years of loyalty counts for NOTHING at this location". she would not allow me to speak, asking to let her speak. I said I did let you speak but I am asking a question. she is just rude and upset I have challenged her answers. BAD BUSINESS! at this time in our world we should have a better understanding of all man kind.

Just wanted to comment on the staff Shelly's great very helpful and nice. But I really had to say that Mark is awesome I've left my ladder out by my boat I don't know how many times he's always picked it up kept it safe for me I'm sure be safe anyway that place is safe I didn't lock my unit up a couple times he saw that I didn't lock it and he locked it with one of their locks and called me to let me know. They increased the rent from 290 to 330 in a few months. Then they increased it further to $520 a month. When that caused me a serious problem because I had to move to a new job and did not have time to vacate they throwed the book at me. I had to vacate and throw away stuff that was very important to me and my family. This happened after I spent many thousands of dollars of rent with them. In the meantime they are offering the same unit at $349 with first month free. Don't rent here unless you want big headaches.
