I must share my experience with CubeSmart and I hope you read my review to the end to understand why I rated poorly—you and your wallet will appreciate it. While the staff's friendliness deserves recognition, the repeated rent increases for my small storage space left me disheartened and ultimately led me to moving out. At the outset, my lease signed in August 2020 and I was offered a reasonable rate of $45.92 – a seemingly fantastic deal, right? WRONG. Please continue reading this review to understand my disappointment and frustrations with CubeSmart. By May 2021, my rent rate increased to $54.60. By March 2022, I had another increase to $65.25. At the time, I had been renting my space for about a year and a half; I found these increases to be manageable and justifiable. The tipping point came 6 months later in September 2022– I was hit with yet another rent rate increase which brought my storage space rent to a staggering $119.57. When I reached out via email to management for an explanation, I was met with a vague response from Dave I believe who called me and linked the outrageous storage rent increase to the rising cost of living. Allow me to put this into perspective for those of you who’ve read this far. Within a mere six months, my rent skyrocketed by approximately 83.22%, surging from $65.25 to $119.57. This is an UNACCEPTABLE and UNDERHANDED practice on CubeSmart's part! As if that weren't enough, the rent continued to surge, after another increase where my rent was $145.23 in August 2023. This was the final straw for me. These escalating rent increments are distasteful, leading to deep disappointment with CubeSmart. Consequently, I made the decision to vacate just before my next bill was due. I couldn't justify supporting them any further, especially considering my modest 4x8 unit. I felt compelled to write this review to provide transparency and a fair warning to potential customers considering CubeSmart for their storage needs. While the staff's friendliness is a positive aspect (hence the two stars), the recurring rent increases and lack of justification for these increases are concerning. If you're searching for a long-term storage solution, I DO NOT RECOMMEND choosing CubeSmart. The allure of a seemingly great discount upon signing your lease can quickly fade as you find yourself burdened by unforeseen costs and escalating rent fees. Beware – if it appears too good to be true, it likely is.

First space offered had a cable running diagonally thru it. I would be OK with a discount since quite a bit of square footage is lost due to the cable. I was told it would be full price (less the promotion they had going on) and that no other units that size available. I wasn't happy but I took it as i figured my stuff would likely fit. The following weekend (before moving in) I realized i needed a larger unit. i asked to be moved to another , larger unit before i started to move in. I was told ok but that the promotion could not be apply to the new unit even though i would be paying a higher rate for the larger unit. She suggested a Public Storage near by if i wanted to go there instead. I persisted, after several calls to mgmt they begrudgingly gave me the promotion rate on the new unit (again, i never used the first one) I was literally told to go to a competitor while I'm trying to UPGRADE ? Now, it only been 5 months and I got an increase letter in the mail. no thank you

However, I had an incident when someone from the facilty staff approached to me one day in a very lack of professionalism neither respect rushing the gate almost shouting at me stating I was staying overnight at the premises supposedly because "some other renters noticed I was suspiciously staying late?" and not because they (cubesmart staff) witnesses themselves with proofs. I guess people don't mind their own business but anyway, my understanding is that you only have access to the facility until certain time or schedule but it does not say when to leave. I don't mind respecting a schedule if that is the case as long as it is addressed in a respectful manner. Rudeness is not the best way for me or anybody to get results. For this case I will consider next time letting go my rent of 9 bays and go somewhere with better customer service.

I had such a negative experience at the 2512 N Federal location (not this location) that I felt so fortunate and blessed to have discovered this alternate location. Karen and Collin made me feel like a welcomed and valuable customer. Renting my unit was quick and easy and I will be recommending them to all of my friends. But this location only for The Delray and Boynton Beach areas. Do yourself a favor and Keep Away from the 2512 N Federal location unless you want to be made to feel like a burden by their manager who accused me of being homeless and told me to leave his property. I had the worst experienced ever at 0719 Cubesmart Fl Delray Beach Military Trail 14216 Military Trl Delray Beach Florida 33484 Paid $72.82 cash for the first month the guy in charge did not even say his name because he is a thieve make me purchase a short piece of chain, so I could return with my stuff and the cube was kept empty for a month because it was very difficult for me to get the chain I returned exactly the due date for the next payment and wanted for me to pay late charges and for a new lock and other charges etc, so I walked away from the rental and lost the $72.82 dollars for nothing, they are a bunch of vulgar thieves, I will never rent in this company again ever, I got an honest and better deal at The A/C Storage Place.............

Was given a price of a unit and when got there they I formed me of the insurance cost as well.i all ready had a bigger unit there and flew in to downsize. Price on phone told was half well worth the Hassel of the downsize when arrived I was told that was the price minus the insurance. So not only did I pay for a flight but the savings over a year would not even cover cost of the move..the manger was great but as far as the fees his hands were tied.

Today I switched my unit to a smaller one they both worked well as team players Today Karen assisted me first at front desk informing me about options next Damon as he took me took me around he asked me the right questions to fill my needs we closed the unit and set up my new lease. If I hear of someone in need of storage I would highly recommend 14216 s miitary trail for their needs. The customer service was very personal and humbled me with all their consideration for my needs and the customers who came into office for example an elder lady who was having a hard time with her lock because of her lack of strength. Karen and Damon communicated immediately to ease her mind and came to a quick solution. .. putting some lube on. Again, both work well together for the common goal of cubesmart in a professional and timely manner.

When the Hurricane hit, they still were more worried about the rent. They over charge when 1 day late. Never sent notice. My complaint is that they gave us a good rate in the beginning and have steadily raised it to the point where we are now paying double than what it was when we took the unit. The company raises the rates frequently - have done so more than once a year. We are now at the point where we have to give it up or do a major downsize.

Tom, who checked me in was very courteous and polite. I got set up very quickly and professionally. Best storage in Delray, I think when comparing prices and conveniency. Very impressed with the friendly staff and service. Clean, safe and every time I pass by I'm greated with a smile... Great Customer Service... which is hard to come by these days. I had used Cube Smart a few years ago when I lived in Boynton and had a great experience with the facility and staff. I recently had need of a storage unit and what a surprise to discover there was a Cube Smart right across the street from me. Suzie and Dave who helped me get started here were really nice. Dave showed me a few different units on a Monday and did not pressure me when I left that day undecided. I looked at a competitor's facility, and knew immediately that CubeSmart was better for me. It was cleaner, felt safer, and seemed more organized. So, the following day I went in to rent a unit, and Suzie helped me. I started moving stuff in the same day. I've since been back a few times and remain pleased with the place overall. I wish they had more carts and ladders though, and that the ones they do have were in better repair (especially the ladders as my storage cube is on the second level). I'm otherwise pleased with this location, though, and recommend it highly.

Went to check out this storage facility and was impressed by how clean it is. The staff introduced themselves and were very courteous. Suzie Adkins assisted us. We rented a mid-size unit and was very impressed with the lighting and temperature. Suzie answered our questions and concerns and we were so impressed that a couple of days later we rented another unit that was larger. We are in the process of closing out our other unit at another facility. I would highly recommend CubeSmart, especially this location.

Staff was very helpful and cooperative when I had an issue at signup that could not be resolved on the spot. Facility is very clean and although gate is currently broken, I was assured it would be fixed right away. I would rent here again.
