Very nice storage unit! The two ladies that were there this past Thursday were super nice and super helpful! I wish I could have gotten the name of the nice lady that worked there she has been so helpful through this whole process. While I was there the super nice employee was helping me out and during that there was a man there that I think had a brain injury and he was very confused. She was so kind and patient with him and showed him where his unit was located. I have been having a hard time lately her kindness really made my day! The facility is also super clean and temperature is perfect its was so nice and cool in there. You feel safe there too. We were gonna move to that area, but unfortunately the deal fell through, so we have to move to a different storage unit where we live I actually prefer this facility so much more!

Always clean, security makes me feel comfortable, when I have to go by myself late at night. Many different ways to pay on your account if you need to travel, or can not get to the unit, as planned, makes it very convenient.

Hateful girl! One of the young ladies there is very nice; the other is the complete opposite. Unfortunately, I got the other one today. We moved out of our unit. I went to inform them that we had vacated. It was just before 2pm and the note on the door said they would return at 2:30. I have other things to do, so we left and I called later the same day. I was informed (with attitude) "You were SUPPOSED to tell me BEFORE you left the property." I told her that I tried, but they were out to lunch. I like CubeSmart, we have rented units in several locations across the country, even at this one before. But we will NOT be coming back to this location. I don't guess the hateful one will be shedding any tears though :)

TL;DR: Nice place, but they will jack up the rate on you every year. This is a nice facility. Modern, climate controlled, quite a few carts available, and secure. The problem is the price. We rented a 10X10 unit in 2019 for a monthly price of $114. Every year it increased significantly. We just moved out when the price hit $237 per month, more than double what we paid four years ago. We found a new storage facility that gave us twice as much space for less money, still climate controlled. I get that inflation has made things more expensive, but inflation hasn't been 100% in four years. I would also point out that the unit we rented was advertised as a 10X10, but in reality we measured it to be 9'3" X 9'6" in dimension. So basically we were paying for 100 square feet and getting 89 square feet - more than 10 percent below what we were paying for. We also found the hours to be a bit restrictive. Access hours are 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. With the facility being automated, why we aren't allowed 24 hour access is a mystery. We also found the security to be cumbersome. I get needing a code to enter the facility, but then having to enter it to use the elevator as well was a bit of a bother when moving a lot of stuff up and down. Despite all that, we probably would have stayed if the price increases weren't so high despite the access issues just to avoid having to move all our stuff. But doubling the price over four years is not reasonable.

Rent raised multiple times but the upkeep and climate don't seem to be keeping up. What I mean is their landscaping is starting to encroach into parking spaces, to the point where I couldn't even park in a spot. The inside temperature is also warmer now. Definitely not as clean as when we first started renting. They raise the rent but cut back on A/C and upkeep. Also very annoying that their parking lot is always packed with returned rental trucks and trailers. There have been a times where I had to grab a trash parking spot and walk my stuff further, just because of returned trucks. And we also must be paying a Mandarin tax, Baymeadows location has my same unit for $50 less a month. May look to move to that spot

I was displeased by them raising the rent on my unit when they had roughly 25 other units on my floor not rented out. I told them I planned on renting for a year, so the assumption was I wouldn't move my stuff. I wouldn't care if the demand had increased for the units, but they had open room and wanted their existing customers to pay for it. The increase in rent was mailed too, so I was lucky to catch it. All and all, it seemed underhanded and I moved out. The people working there were very nice though.

The management and staff of this CubeSmart has been fantastic to work with. They contacted us the day before they expected us to move in, and we explained we were delayed 3 days. No problem, they extended the hold on our reservation. On the day we moved in the agent on duty was courteous and helpful all day long. And just today we received an email reminding us we signed up for auto pay, and that they would be charging our credit card on the 24th, in case we wanted to make any changes or in case we were now using a different card.

Such a good experience, Tiffany and Britney were very knowledgeable and patient with all of my questions. Unloading our truck was done with the ease, there is an overhang to pull under so even in bad weather moving in or out could be done. Plenty of carts to help make it a breeze to go from the truck to our locker. Clean facility, large elevators, professional service. Unit is new and clean, access is tedious, forced place insurance premium is $11 monthly, $1.75 premium w/ $10.25 administration fee & does not cover the two most likely causes of loss, theft or water damage. There is no gurantee your rate will not be increased following month and “promo” will expire when they deem fit. Corporate “makes the descion”, manager has no say.

So far so good. The facility is clean and cool. The staff had been very nice and helpful. The unit I needed to get was a bit pricey, but the size was necessary. When I rolled up in a uhaul, Chris came out and locked the doors in the open position for us, which was a huge help! We didn't even have to ask. The only issue I had was lack of 24 hour access. I was told there would be a fee for it. I used another Cube Smart location in town in the past and was able to have 24 hour access with no fee. But I called and explained I really mainly needed it for a couple of days as most of this move was being done after I got off of work and had an end date due to closing. Chris was extremely accommodating and gave me access for the rest of the week at no charge. That one gesture was huge in an otherwise chaotic and stressful situation. Next move will be to go through the stuff in the unit...yay... (my mom's stuff...we sold her house and moved her in with me..she's a hoarder). Hopefully they won't mind us showing up with a dumpster and tequilla the day we have to go through it.....

Checked their website on pricing. Got to the location only to be told we would have to pay an additional $12/month for insurance on a 5x5 unit. They don't tell you that in the pricing on the website. Their office admitted that was hidden until further along the process. Only after several minutes of confusion and asking questions did the gentleman finally admit that if we had a homeowners policy than we can have the fee waived but he required the actual policy so HE could make a copy of it and only then would he waive the fee. Disgusted, we left and went to Atlantic Storage across the street and the guy explained the whole insurance issue and only required that we send him an image of the front page. He didn't have the size we were looking for but called several other locations for us to find one. We ended up at the unit on Shad Road, friendlier staff, cheaper rates, they waived the admin fee and had honest policies. I'll never do business with CubeSmart after this experience.

What a wonderful experience I had renting a second unit with CubeSmart! I agree with earlier ratings that the place is immaculate and the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and so courteous. I have had my first unit for several years and have always received great customer service! Five stars for sure!

Cleanest facility I have ever seen. The rental process was seamless and the online portal is wonderful. Able to pay online is very nice. The accessibility and large doors are incredible and the nice free use of the platform dollies is icing on the cake

The staff at this facility is very helpful and understanding. I was working on a low budget to get moved in a short period of time with friends and family helping me. Trying to move into my unit on a Saturday and when I returned (with the truck that I rented from CubeSmart) there were 4 other trucks there either moving in or out at the same time. Freddie was completely understanding and extremely helpful with the limited time I had for the rental. The facility is very clean and I feel that my belongings are in safe keeping. Thank you guys for understanding my situation it means a lot to know that there are people who still care and are willing to go the extra step to assist others. God Bless each of you.

The facility is very clean, convenient & I always felt safe when I went to access my storage unit. The staff was very helpful & friendly! If I find that I need to use a storage unit again, I will use Cube Smart!
